After a week of being bounced around from repairer to repairer, I chose to go into the Browns Plains store and had the beat team member Stacey, do everything she could to resolve my issue, which she did. She was polite and helpful and all with a smile on her face. She is an asset to the Browns plains good guys team and I will definately be back.

3 of the staff I had interactions with were terrible. No help at all. But store had great selection

We have made two purchases recently. One of which was a Dyson vacuum cleaner and a few days ago a new dishwasher. They were happy to meet the price of the other appliance store up the road. We left the other store after our salesman left us to sort out another customer who butted in. Unfortunately for them, they missed out on a sale.

Rang 3 times and didn't answer the phone

DO NOT ORDER ANY GOODS FROM THIS STORE - VERY POOR COMMUNICATION AND TOTALLY UNRELIABLE Ordered a 90cm freestanding dual fuel cooker on 27th December and told verbally it should be delivered 2nd week in January. When I read the invoice after paying the full amount it said no ETA -strike 1 Phoned weekly after that to ascertain if received in warehouse. Finally last Monday 3rd Feb I phoned again and told they had contacted me as it arrived in their warehouse and needed to set a delivery date - no SMS or email - strike 2 Set a delivery date of Sunday 9th Feb and received a SMS on Friday 7th to confirm delivery for 9th. This SMS stated I would receive a message with an ETA on the 9th no later than the morning of delivery. No messages so I phoned - redirected as Browns Plains website closed for refurbishment - whoever I spoke to had no idea whether the goods would be delivered today but reassured me that if it was set for today it would arrive - not delivered - STRIKE 3 Further to this I found out there had been a fire in the store on Wednesday 5th Feb. They continue to disappoint with there lack of communication I phoned them on Monday 10th Feb and as a result cancelled the order then they wanted me to go to the store at Ipswich 1 hour away to give ID so as they could process a refund. Not on. They then usent an email and requested that I send a photo of my bank statement for bsb and account details. After more phone calls as no refund and my providing the bank details 4 times I’ve lodged a complaint with LGFT QLD. I am so disappointed as we had previously bought goods from another Good Guys shop and nothing but an exemplary service.

I purchase a laptop in august 2024, on December 19th I took it in for repair as it wouldn’t power on. Was told it would be a few days to a week. Being just before Christmas I though ok might take abit longer then that. Week after new years I rang to see if it had been sent away as there was no update on the solvup website. Staff didn’t have good phone manners, was told it would be sent away for repair that week. Rang two weeks later as I had not heard anything and was told its getting sent away that day. Another two weeks passed and was told it’s at the repairs. The following week I kept trying to ring without any luck getting through. Found out there was a fire in store and it would be closed till end of March. Reached out a few different ways which was more difficult than expected. Finally heard I was getting a replacement. Browns plains store is a joke and they are full of shit. My laptop was still in store when the fire happened. 0 stars would not recommend. Multiple weeks of trying to chase up my laptop repair, 3 months later finally getting replacement. Communication is horrible, spend your money elsewhere.

I purchased a portable air conditioner a month ago, but it broke down and was sent for repair. A week later, I found out that the store had temporarily closed for an extended period. During that time, I received no updates from the store and have been constantly calling customer service to resolve the issue. It has been over two weeks, and I still haven’t received my product. This has been the worst experience.

I am very disappointed with my first experience of this store. Have shopped at other branches and had positive experiences. The staff I experienced at the Browns Plains store on Sunday last had little to no product knowledge and lacked customer service skills. I was issued a customer receipt belonging to another customer. Then, there was no attempt made to offer any help to take my purchase ( a rather large and heavy product) out to my vehicle. The staff at the counter gave the impression that they didn't want to be there! Little wonder that online sales for web based retailers are booming. My wife and I spent close to $700 that day, and because of our experience, we didn't go ahead with another purchase on the day. That store has lost a $300 sale. We are now going to go ahead and purchase this through an online retailer.

Honestly, don't even bother. I ordered a product online that said it was in stock for pickup or Uber delivery within 1 hour. A week later and it's still not available. This store seems to be absolutely useless, they have not contacted me and are not helpful whatsoever when I contact them. Do yourself a favour and go somewhere else.

Nick our sales professional was fantastic! He listened, provided great options, very courteous and very respectful and helpful. That’s why we went back to purchase our fridge from the good guys BP. He arranged delivery for the next day. The delivery guys arrived at 8am. Unpacked and installed the new fridge and took the old fridge away. Two great guys as well. Highly recommend this store.

Worse service

Very disappointing experience at Browns Plains. Too much BS and nonsense. 1. Samsung have advertised a TV for a reduced price ($1845 delivered ). 2. I went to pick one at The Good Guys. 3. Sales person takes me to the TV. Price tag $2995. (BS #1) 4. Asked about the special the salesman said $1995.(BS #2) 5. Asked about the special AGAIN the salesman finally agreed it was $1845. 6. Asked about stock the salesman said they 10(!) such TV's in stock. Checked online and the TV was Delivery Only" so they had NO STOCK.(BS #3)"

Was looking for a laptop, that wasn't out of my price range. Great staff member helped me out, I'm so very happy with my purchase. Good parking and friendly staff that were more than willing to help.

Amazing Team Saved My Son’s Birthday! Story time: I bought an Acer laptop from Harvey Norman Browns Plains on 21/10/24 as a birthday present for my 15-year-old son. He saved $1,100 himself mowing lawns and doing odd jobs, and I covered the rest. He was so excited to open it on 17/12/24, his birthday, but it didn’t work straight out of the box. We went to Harvey Norman hoping for a quick resolution. They told us they could send it off for repair, but it would take two weeks. I explained that it was his birthday and he needed a working laptop now, and I asked for a refund due to the major defect (as per Australian Consumer Law). They refused, saying Acer had to have the chance to fix it first. After making me sign a document, they sent us on our way. Frustrated but determined to save his birthday, we decided to buy another laptop. First stop was JB Hi-Fi, but we were completely ignored for 20 minutes while a staff member flirted with a customer who didn’t even make a purchase. Frustrated, we left and went to The Good Guys. What a difference! We were helped immediately by a kind and understanding team member who listened to my rant without judgment. She got her supervisor involved, and together they secured an amazing deal on a laptop, saving my son’s birthday. Thank you so much, Good Guys team, for turning a disappointing day into a joyful one. My son was thrilled, and I’m so grateful for your excellent customer service!

just bought a fridge on Saturday paid the $85more for them to take away the old fridge nstead they put it on the foot path outside our house and said someone will pick it later no one has .tried calling 10 time just goes to we are experiencing a high number of calls bullshit message tried going on their Web site to make contact it just goes around in circles and doesn't let you make a complaint so now have to go in store . so basically I have paid for a service and did not receive so if any one actually cares at the store hopefully they will read this and contact me .otherwise a refund is in order

Online chat was able to price match Costco for 2x iPhone 16 Pro Max. Fantastic savings there however in store experience was a bit flustered. Overall a good experience

Very easy to enter and exit the Good Guys warehouse pick up area out of the retail shopping precinct so very little traffic staff were very professional and safety orientated polite and professional even bringing sweets out for children definitely got their act together

Max was the best help I could ever ask for. He was so kind and supportive when I was purchasing items from the store. 👍

Dropped in today to get a new blender and small food chopper. Had two vouchers to use. All three staff members who assisted me were fabulous. Knowledgeable and happy to answer my questions. Even carried my purchases out to the car in the 38° heat. Thanks Good Guys BP

DISGUSTING SERVICE!!!!!!!!!!!! WAS TOLD OUR TV WAS TO BE DELIVERED ON MONDAY. TOOK THE DAY OFF WORK AND NEVER GOT DELIVERED. CALLED GOODGUYS AND WAS TOLD IT WILL BE DELIVERED ON THURSDAY INSTEAD - NEVER CAME. WOW THIS IS SUCH BAD SERVICE

I am not happy with your delivery people. You guys charged me for the delivery of my refrigerator and told me that you will take away the old one. But instead your delivery people told my daughter that they are getting late and they left it at the entry of the house. They told my daughter to ring store to arrange for pick up or sell it. Why I should arrange for pick up when I already paid for delivery and pick up. What a shameful delivery people you guys have

If can i don't want give them any star, when order they tell me stock on the way,after one week they still said on the way,this big stores don't have one piece cooktop and rangehood when I said i want cancel all my orders, on the same time suddenly they said ready stock and i can get the stock immediately....so funny . when i book technician for install the air-conditioner,cooktop,rangehood and oven.all the payment done but they need i extra pay for the install fee...the bill already print out the price for install but still need i pay one more time,can I ask is they bring the eye coming for work?

I applied for click and collect at the store because I wanted to receive the TV I ordered quickly. I went there yesterday at 6:00, but they said the warehouse closes at 5:30, so I returned home. I went to pick it up again at 5:08 PM today after work. The door was open, but they said they couldn't give me the item because they had to get off work. It's not even a short distance from my house to the store, so it's unpleasant to have to make a wasted trip. This store doesn't notify customers of the warehouse closing time, there's no reason for customers to accept it, and you can't find any customer service at all. Is this really Good Guys?

The store service is terrible. I bought a tv and a dryer last weekend including delivery to my house supposed to be on Monday as invoice. They appeared only deliver the tv to me. I wait for 2 more days and nothing happens. I called the store and a man said that dryer not in stock and he has no idea when it will be in stock. How unprofessional it is when they sold the item, invoice it and promise to deliver which is not in stock. Letting custom waiting without any response. Just say not in stock after few days I called them. Very poor service.

If there would be 0 in option will give them ...they had a deal online for hisense tv 85 for $1495 yesterday I took a screenshot and deal ends on 20th November which is 3 days more ...went in store manager denied the deal and said price is gone up so I give you that deal even deal ends on 20th November...said they can change the price at any time ...really bad customer service.."

Very bad service. Would never recommend the concierge warranty especially as it’s waste of time. No steps taken to rectify the complaint and now I left without a functioning refrigerator .the customer has to sort out everything on their own .

On the 6th of October I went to the store to purchase a TV. Was told it would be in stock within 5 days by 2 of their staff members. Called them today still no stock in store. Requested a refund was told to come to the store to get it. Explained I don't live locally and was an hour away and got oh well... Don't buy from them extremely disappointed with the lack of service and attitude.

So I buy a nutribullet on the 4th of September. I pay for overnight delivery. I get a courier message saying your delivery is delivered. I receive nothing. I get a delivery notice that says I have received No Freight. This is correct I receive nothing. I get a few of these. I receive nothing each time. Lucky me. Excellent work global courier express you delivered nothing on time every time. What a business model. Do nothing get paid. Anyway I contact good guys they kindly refund me my overnight delivery fee and we proceed. They keep delivering me nothing I keep asking why. Apparently by the 25th of September my nutri bullet has been sitting on the loading dock at Bald Hills the whole time. I ask if they could maybe send it to me. They say they probably could. But they don't. So I ring again and ask for a refund because I have decided to walk to Harvey Norman and buy another nutri bullet. But this is not possible because for some reason my nutri bullet will not get in a truck. So now we have the problem that good guys can not refund me because I haven't received my item. Its now oct the 2nd. I have walked to Harvey Norman and got a good deal on a nutri bullet that actually exists. I am making smoothies. The good guys hahhah what a name. They have not responded to my request for a refund at all. I can not lodge a problem in pay pal because they have never given me any documents around this dispute. So here I am revenge reviewing I am yelling now. THIS THE WORST RETAIL EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD. You have been warned.

Spoke with Peter and he was amazing in helping me find a solution while giving me very honest help. Didn't try and push anything that didn't make sense for my situation and was super understanding and friendly. Would 100% recommend seeing Peter and the team.

Ordered a chest freezer and was told it was coming today so took the day off work because I got a text at 12pm it was going to be delivered between 12pm-5pm, so a 5 hour window! And it did not end up getting delivered, because the truck was too full. And I wasn’t even notified that it wasn’t coming, I had to call and find out where it was. Then to find out it’s been order from JB-Hi-Fi so going throw like 3 party’s. Just straight up annoying.

Product is good. Customer service was terrible. When we brought delivery, I had specifically asked the one that gets dropped inside and rubbish taken, paid for it and double checked then the girl said “oh no this just gets delivered to your front door, is that what you want”? If I wanted it to be dropped at my front door I wouldn’t have paid for any deliver at all…. Then on delivery day, while one guy was busy putting the fridge in the fridge space area, one other guy has walked pass the dining table where wallet was and had taken $250 out of it. After their investigation of 1 week I get told Sorry there’s nothing we can do. So if you are getting delivery from good guys, make sure you have no valuables in the house or please make sure you have CCTV in every corner of your house because they be stealing your things. Do not recommend getting your things delivered to your house.

I bought a microwave from these idiots recently. I entered the store and not one person greeted me. I found what I wanted and stood and waited for someone to acknowledge me, I stood for roughly 10 minutes, then this rude 'worker' walked straight past me as I was opening the microwave to have a look!! Didn't even give me a second glance! So i thought I'll go searching for a 'worker' I came across some bloke on a computer with his back to me, I said 'excuse me' to which he replied 'yep' and still didn't turn around to look at me!! FFS reckon your 'workers' need some serious training in customer service. Disgusting and I won't be returning. Will go to Harvey Norman next time.

Terrible customer service. Go anywhere but the Good Guys!

I have had two situations now where I brought items from this particular good guys over 12 months. The appliances blew up, two different brands and no questions were asked at the Browns Plains store who replaced my items free of charge. The item was on special at time replacement and they gave me back credit to my card. I had a similar experience like this with JB hi-fi where I even paid extra money for an extended warranty and there was no chance of me getting a replacement on the spot where I had recently only decked out my whole house from that JB hi-fi store over $25,000 in purchases in one visit. I will only shop at Good Guys from now on after this and will never step back in JB hi-fi, the prices may be cheaper but you’re also buying cheap service with no support! Good job Good Guys Browns Plains 👌🏻

Vary bad stuff

Spent 2k on a washer and dryer. Was told they just need to bring in the items from their warehouse and that it’ll take a few days and I’ll get a text (No dramas, happy to wait a few days). A week goes by and haven’t heard anything. So I call to see what’s happening. Get told still waiting on the dryer (ok, I’m a little annoyed now but I’ll keep waiting). 2 weeks go by and I receive a text saying “final reminder to organise delivery”. I’m confused as I never received anything prior, so again I call in. Get told something happened with the order and the warehouse doesn’t know what’s going on but I’ll call you back soon with an update (never received that call) I go into the store to see what’s going on. Get told not sure what’s happened and still waiting for the dryer. Wasted two weeks waiting when I could have gotten it same day from jb. This was my first time going to Good Guys and will be the last.

I phoned GG Browns Plains where we have bought thousands of dollars of purchases. Last purchase was a Econovax Deebot which we are quite happy with. I found out thru GG's Loganholme our 2 + years model is now obsolete. Fortunately dust bags for it aren't but hard to find in store. Phoned GG's Browns Plains (Alex) who assured me a new pallet was arriving Friday 10May. I was relieved and said I'd be there to buy packs. Husband went Saturday morning early. GG Browns Plains staff informed they had no idea about any pallet of dust bags. So that was disappointing. If anyone's interested they have 1 packet left at Mount Gravatt. From now on I'll order on line and wait 2 weeks.

Don't get anything delivered. Was told a date it would arrive. Took a day off work so we could get the item. Heard nothing so called the store. a computer clutch" meant it was never dispatched. Even tho we got a message saying it was dispatched."

Completely turned off after purchasing Bissell spot cleaner and the aftermarket service from this team and bissell. Don’t purchase from here on risk of faulty equipment.

The worst experience I have ever had just called them about delivery and the guy was literally fighting with me at the end he said I’m sure you will figure it out and hang up on me

Worst customer service. Went to pick up a click and collect two items. The female staff was not interested, did not even acknowledge. She went inside. Another staff brought the item after a long time and dropped the item on another counter. I was still waiting for another ten minutes or so while all the staff there were busy gossiping and laughing. A customer in front of me was irate and left. At this point I asked for my items again to another staff and she pointed me to the desk where it is. I checked and it was missing the second item. When I further enquired, they did not even have it on stock, even though they emailed me that the item is ready. This happened over an year ago, however it hasn’t changed much these days.
