The ladies at this store have very bad attitudes and don't know what there talking about..they have lost me as a customer..i will never go back there again..***ABSOLUTELY SHOCKING***

This store doesn't honour their price match and beat guarentee. Waste of time.

Won’t be back. Came in to purchase an outdoor wifi extender. Was shown the last one they had left, purchased it and was on my way home to install. Got home and opened it to find parts missing and mud all over the item. It had previously been used. Took the item back and was basically told they check the returned items before putting them back on the shelf. Obviously not when it’s dirty!!! When I then questioned the missing parts I was told it’s hard to know what parts are missing. Actually no it’s not, they’re listed on the box. That’s how I knew parts were missing. No care and no effort given from this lot of staff. I’ll be spending my money at another store thanks!

Just want to say a big thank you to Marty and the team at Jaycar Browns planes I go in there quite a lot to purchase stuff from those guys every time I go in there's nothing but helpful and kindness they are in awesome bunch of people and a great team really enjoy going there every time thank you so much Marty I always appreciate your help and assistance

Needed a sleep machine inverter as we had no power due to servere storms. Rang and got advice, had recommended product in store, held item for me to pick up. Tested and checked machine in store to ensure it would work.

Awful shopping experience from a young male employee. Walked in and asked about a breathalyser to which he said they do not sell. Explained that it was on their website, he looked it up and said they had one in stock and then proceeded to tell me that it was a fuel ‘analyser’ and measured fuel. He treated us with disrespect and a constant ‘you’re an idiot’ smirk on his face. Walked out of the store and re read the item online to which it said it was an alcohol reader. Walked back in and made a complaint to a staff member (casual lady employee who was super helpful and lovely). I explained that I wouldn’t purchase from there but thanked her for listening. Went to the Jaycar Jindalee store who knew immediately what I was after and went out of their way to help as well as helping us purchase other items.

A terrible shopping experience, found product I was looking for online said was in stock in store. Upon arrival I was greeted pleasantly by a wonderfully cheerful lady staff member. She searched her system to find the product I was after and her computer malfunctioned. She turns to the male staff member beside her and asked if they had any in stock and he responded abruptly with a stern NO". He then looked at me and asked me to move away from the counter so he could serve the customer beside me. The product was an action camera battery. I would have purchased a whole new camera but that store can does not have the sense to make dollars."

I'm officially using Jaycar Browns Plains as my one-stop electronic shop! Best prices on AAAA batteries anywhere, which my stylus chews through due to me using it 4-8 hours a day. You guys are so cool to chat to, too! Incredibly helpful, went out of their way to ask how I was doing and if I needed a hand. I'll be back for sure!

I went in today looking for a lead, after not being able to get one anywhere else. The staff were great & helped me straight away. Thanks guys

I was after a connector that their website stated they had.. got to the store.. they only sell 6 pin.. yeah bunch of ridiculous people.. I'm done with jaycar.

Staff were rude the last time I went there, years ago. Still rude to this day. Must be the culture there.

Well all I can say is that Tim the sales assistant Was extremely rude And basically told me that any tools Are sold with the view that they may not work and if that's the case then no refund or swaps for store credit is available I would keep that in mind if your going to bye anything from them , its a shame. they brag about being an Aussie company but treat thier customers like poo I found Tim to be rude and arrogant I won't be buying anything from them again and well gladly tell my friends, customers and family I dont recommend them at all. JAYCAR when your broke and have to close the doors this will be one of the main reasons you've got yourself to blame for dissatisfied customers.

Was in the market for a Bluetooth to FM transmitter. Excellent customer service! Instead of trying to upswell me the most expensive one, he told me the cheaper one works perfectly for music just has a bad mic for calls. This honesty and service has guaranteed my business with Jay car.

We were there today and was disgusted by the rudeness of all staff members. If this is customer service then you are in the wrong job. The male staff member was a disgusting example of customer service . We will not return to that store as going by other reviews this has been allowed to continue. If I could give them minus stars I would. They deserve all the reviews given as they are the rudest people I have ever come across in the retail sector.

Called up on the phone asking if I can do change of mind refund a couple days later but explained I couldn’t cause of Brisbane floods. Was told that’s all good over the phone. Get into store and suddenly they say no. Thanks now I can’t get a refund and wasted 40 minutes of driving

The sheer and blunt rudeness received from young male working was by far the most disgusting “service” attempt I’ve ever ever witnessed and received my whole life. Aside from claiming to know nothing about a simple item sold in this speciality store his absolute putrid and dismissive attitude right in front of his colleagues and other customers was beyond unreal. Pro-tip. Spend your money elsewhere if you value who it’s being used to pay.

Was looking for cables for the Switch and was helped by a friendly guy. Good service plus it was close to closing time.

I'll drive to the other side of the city so I don't have to put up with a rude and condescending employee of Browns Plains Jaycar. Four times I have been to this shop and every single time I have encounted the manager who seemingly goes out of his way to be obnoxious. I truly believe he has a superiority complex.

Not a bad store and not bad staff but it's one of those stores where u could walk around for 30 mins and don't get offered any assistance. I went there yesterday and the staff and manager were standing around the counter in a cycle just talking to one another while customers looked lost. And the manager just WOW he is useless. Just stands behind the counter and does absolutely nothing. And there has been times I've gone down there and asked the manager where something is as his walks past and u get a sigh and a eye rolls from him just before he tells u where the thing that u are looking for is. Just really poor management at this store.

Went to Jaycar today the assistant was very rude. Clearly does not enjoy his job. Sorry I did not get his name.

Was in jaycar browns plains yesterday afternoon and the male staff member I believe was Marcus. Was extremely rude and abrupt I was absolutely disgusted with his rude attitude and the abrupt way he spoke to an elderly gentleman I was with. I wish jaycar as a company would do something about this rude guy as I need to purchase from jaycr all the time for work but I'm going to have to shop elsewhere as this is unacceptable.

The duty manager Marcus came across as passive aggressive and unhelpful. The store was due to close in 10 mins and he seemed like he just wanted to get rid of us. Will be shopping at Jaycar Underwood from now on, where the staff are very kind and helpful.

The duty manager on Thursday night was extremely unhelpful and rude. Not sure how you reached manager status.

The guys there are great, they were happy to help with my questions, helped me get the right connection and aerials I needed.

One of those stores where you could walk around 20 times and find different stuff each time. I can only comment on items I've purchased recently. Braided cables, dampening materials... All have been in stock. That's all I can ask. Staff somehow know where everything is too which is great.

I didn't know the name of a part in English. I described what that is as much as I could. The workers were helpful and I could find it.

I had generally enjoyed shopping at Jaycar until I was served by the duty manager Marcus today. I am new to the world of electronics repair so I had a bit of trouble choosing the right screwdriver set. I shouldn't have bothered asking Marcus, honestly he made me feel quite low as I was not able to explain properly what I needed. I thought the point of going into a physical store such as this was because you could ask questions and the staff would give excellent customer service and be able to help you choose the right thing. Honestly it would have taken 30 seconds for him to google and find out instead of making me feel like scum for not knowing. I will not be a returning customer to jaycar, I will just order everything through Amazon, get it delivered straight to my home and google everything. I was polite throughout the entire exchange (I work in retail), reading other reviews it appears he needs to work on his customer service. TL:DR poor service from a shop that should be able to help you find the right product for your needs

Charged more than ticketed price, i advised the ticket price is lower after i had paid. Without a word the manager walked over to the shelf and removed the ticket, he then made a comment to one of his work colleagues. He then asked me to swipe my card, and i assumed he was refunding me the difference. I checked my credit card online at home, and the manager actually charged me extra and didn't refund. The whole time i was polite, and never acted like a Karen. I asked my 11 year old daughter if the manager was rude to me, and she said yes he was very rude. I have always thought the customer service at Browns Plains Jaycar to be poor, and my advice to anyone is to avoid and go else where. perhaps support other Australian businesses even online.

Unpleasant experience shopping there on Sunday 28th June 2020... zero assistance offered while two staff members chatted and not so much as a hello from the big guy behind the counter when I went up to pay.

Unfortunately some Jay-car staff members think a woman should not be interested in their store so they don’t bother to serve me. I went into the store on numerous occasions when I was head of technology at a school and literally had to chase people to be served. I’ve found another source that shows me some respect. They’ve lost a lot of money because I was purchasing bulk goods and components over several years.

The majority of the staff here seemingly go out of their way to be exceptionally rude to you. I thought I was alone in thinking this, but a few friends told me they felt the same. You'll have a more pleasant experience slamming your head over and over again into a brick wall than of actually going into their store.

Incredibly friendly and helpful staff. The store manager assisted to find all of the electronic parts I was after.
