Pretty decent..all round value.

Pleasant atmosphere and food was typical pub food. Band music was extremely loud for this venue.

The food is really good and reasonable prices. Unfortunately the ambience is ruined by extremely loud music which makes it impossible to have a conversation with your dining partner. The music was deafening even out in the street! I understand that people enjoy the entertainment but the club needs to find a way to separate the dining area so people can enjoy their meals in peace

Friendly open and welcoming layout of patrons dining, entertainment,gaming and smoking areas. Average prices for meals but generally have daily specials. Staff are very friendly I have found. Bingo staff greet you by name which is always a plus

Food was excellent and ambience was great. The kids play area was lovely too, plenty to keep the little ones occupied for some kids free time.

I convinced my wife to go again on the suggestion that the food might have improved a year later. Sadly not. The steak sandwich was the worst I've ever had, with the thinnest sliver of steak I've ever seen that covered about 60% of the surface area of the bread They wouldn't swap out chips for mash or veg but thats ok. My wife ordered chicken karage pokedon. It looked bad on arrival. She said it had no taste and she couldn't finish it. Also upon arrival at 630 there were no available car parks. Staff were friendly. And before you reply, No I don't want to contact you to resolve the issue.""

I tried the two for one this Tuesday night, under protest, as I had a weekend special a few weeks ago being garlic prawns, as a main meal, paid full mail meal price, 6 medium prawns 🍤, Ghandi ate more than SOPO offered that day. Gave it another chance tonight as per above, two for one offer, I’m about to die from malnutrition if I keep eating at SOPO, had to come home and cook again, after spending over $30. As an owner of Victoria Towers, this experience will be discussed amongst our community. Staff once ℹ approach them couldn’t give a single stuff. Never again

Las Vegas Show Unfortunately the car park was full and there were no signs to notify drivers and people were driving in finding no spaces and driving out again. One of the bar tenders had little or no customer services skills(black painted finger nails). Felt he did not want to be there or interact with customers. The show was due to start at 7:30 did not start until around 8pm. The show was very good.

i SAW A GOOD show, Vegas on Nov14, The show was good but the show room shocking, packed in, hard chars, disabled toilets a disgrace. Regular toilets wouldn't be so bad I had a similar experience in their ground level show room 3 months ago.

Honestly, music was too loud and it hurts my ear drum so much that I had to leave the place after the beautiful meal. I wish they would tune down the music especially boom base sound. We wanted to enjoy time there but it was impossible. We’ve heard that the Band played this type of hyped music from 7.30 till 11.30pm few times weekly, loud music continuously for 4hours..not nice for any ear drums. Really felt sorry for those old folks and people living upstairs and around the area because the noise decibel could easily reach higher than average. We hope the Management would consider their community if they want their communities to support them. Not pleasant to stay longer unfortunately.

Relaxed atmosphere, good music, good options for eating & alcohol for Seniors... Staff that have served me are always happy & cheerful also helpful.. All round a great club to go to anytime of day..You can get a coffee & cake here AFTER 3pm which is rare in Southport.. I recommend SOPO..

Played bingo for 1st time since going with my mum and nan when I was little.

Good service, prices are reasonable. Live entertainment was good, there is a kids room but it could use a little extra entertainment or the TV functional maybe.

Great atmosphere, prices are great so is the food.

Family went for roast dinner and the food was Luke warm and suddenly a band started playing and blew everyone out of there seats. I’m in my forties but the music was deafening. Absolutely ridiculous

This venue is really good place to go to, the atmosphere including the band is a vibe and the upstairs where they hold the muay thai fights if really good nice and roomy for every one and the staff are very friendly. The food always looks really good would be worth a try overall great experience

Day shift staff are lovely, Night shift staff, not all of course, but wow, some of them are so rude, and late at night it feels like they don't want you in there establishment, I'm really disappointed. I won't be going back there at night ever again..

Lovely family vibe and music

We had a very big group of about 70 booking on Wed night. The area allocated to us is not big enough very squeeze can’t really enjoy much. My son squeezed into a corner with 4 boys and they are having main meals with the utensil box there. No one to serve our order and have to go order online scanning the code and of course u serve yourself and paid extra for ordering through that channel. Food didn’t come quick either. Food is ok but personal wouldn’t come here again Parking is not easy there unless u take tram

It was a cold windy night yet the SOHO had people line up from top floor winding down the stairs to outside and down the street, even at 5 minutes to start time they had not opened the doors to let people in to the auditorium. In choosing to wait inside, we could not get to the atm machine, and a similar long line ran from the one bar attendant serving drinks. Very very disappointing for a venue , and HSCC deserved a better venue. Their show started half an hour late, and in the end we could have gotten in with a photo of a ticket as they didn't scan the tickets. They were in such a hurry to get people in,'like someone finally threw a switch!

Had a lovely meal and it was Friday night so the place was really busy. Was great to see they still stopped at 6 pm for The Ode to be recited. Meal was enjoyable ,a steak cooked as I asked with roasted chat potato's and salad and mushroom sauce that was rich and tasty. Live music which was nice and a flutter on the pokies. Plenty of underground parking too. Will go again next time down coast

What a disgrace! Here for a concert of 1000 people. All squashed into the foyer with no competent security staff directing concert goers into venue. Totally out of their depth. Never again. Avoid at all costs.

If you could give no stars....Don't order the steak comes out looking like the tram ran it over and they put it on the plate no regards to how you ordered it I ordered medium to well done Took back because I am not a neanderthal well anyone would think I'm asking to much, next effort came out like rubber, save yourself the drama and just like all the other pubs just order deep fried food, greasy burger or some slop from special list We are here on holiday will recommend our all friends who visit Gold coast AVOID here.

Terrible experience! China town take over! Horrible menu very expensive and poor quality food, and served by a young girl who couldn't speak english, food was absolute slop,not the beautiful Southport RSL it once was, very disappointed RSL .

It's my local and an RSL so it supports veterans which is important to me, most of the big bands play upstairs and there is always a band playing downstairs, plenty of pokies a good restaurant and a courtesy bus all up a great club that supports southport well

Reception staff friendly but cant say the same for management who seem distant and uninterested. Could be a wonderful place with a bit more effort from the top. Food was average but ok. Not likely to frequent unless it improves.

Had anjoyable surf and turf meal as part of 2 for Tuesday promotion.

Wednesday night special was good value, family member had the discount card so ended up paying $13.50 large burger and chips beats any price around. Going back for steak night.

Come here once a week for bingo and it's always the highlight of my week! The bingo staff are amazing! So friendly and always up for a good chat. The ham, cheese and tomato toasties (with onion added) are also so delicious, a real treat. Winning money is also a great feeling (won $1500 in 2022, I don't think I've ever screamed that loud before lol. It was so needed at that time!) and I always feel so welcome and comfortable here. Special shoutout to the bingo staff members Nina, Michael and Dee. They are always so kind and do an amazing job, am always blown away by their exceptional work in what can be a busy environment and the lady downstairs at the desk (think her names Tracey, she's got blonde hair and always greets me with a friendly smile). Honestly couldn't fault this place even if I tried!

Had a great time seeing a show, if only the upstairs bar stayed open, food down stairs was very busy and limited seating but overall we enjoyed ourselves

Went there a week ago. Nice place, great service, great food. GREAT entertainment. Keep an eye out for a band called B-ROCKED they were fabulous. I'd be going back.
