Great night and absolutely amazing food, my daughter is 3 and had a great time at the playground and games room.

Regretfully having to change my 5 star review - handmade garlic bread, generous handmade schnitzels, and a parmi so big I struggle to finish it. The table service is also a great touch, and we love that we aren't forced to deal with those annoying me&u phone ordering systems with their sneaky surcharges. But I have to say, I’m really disappointed that they’ve changed the chips. They used to be crunchy and delicious steak cut chips, but now they taste cheap and nasty, which really lets down the rest of the meal. It’s a shame because everything else is great, but the new chips just don’t match the quality of the rest of the food. Hope they reconsider!

Just returned from shears arms tavern. Had to wait while staff finished their chat to be seated, ordered and just looking around the dining room is in need of a refurbishment. Then the meal arrived the steak was tough and full of grissle and I doubt it was 300gm as advertised, when I complained it fell on deaf ears. No refund was offered so that only shows me that this happens often, they did offer a desert for free. I will not be returning and I would advise not to order the steak

Always a great place for lunch and dinner good size meals for the price and service is really great. Love the meat raffle trays on Friday and Saturday afternoons have won a few.

3 years in a row I've attended this venue for our annual staff party and never been disspointed with the food or service provided. Look forward to attending again next year! Great service and atmosphere. Meat trays on a Friday. Can't go wrong!

Good food at a good price

Absolutely brilliant Monday evening dinner here with my family tonight as a half way meeting point between Brisbane and the Gold Coast. World class service and our food was exceptional. A special thank you to Levi for looking after us so well, and to the lovely lady on the coffees who made us wonderful after-dinner coffee, paired with her excellent recommendation to try the 10/10 sticky date pudding. If I could give a 6th star, I would! We’ll definitely be back more regularly. Thanks again! 🙏🏼

Not a bad place. Large portions of food, cocktails were $20+ each but that does seem to be the thing now. Great little play area for kids which is completely enclosed. Can definitely make it a cheap meal by sharing the pizzas and having just soft drink or water. Pizzas were yummy.

Had a great afternoon, lovely meal, well priced & delicious. Then a couple of hours in the pokie lounge. Staff all very friendly.

Great service, lots of staff, standard prices. Pizzas looked good, I will have to try next time. Not enough gravy with my meal, $2 for extra gravy. A bit noisy.

Just came back from gaming room and somehow my win of 300 + dollars just disappeared. Ask them to show me evidence what happened young lady just put on the screen 3 min of someone's playing. I asked her to show me what is on camera and if I made mistake I was happy to pay extra 100 dollars but there was no evidence of anything. I didn't put playing card in but there is no sign you need to do it . I'm 110% sure I won more than 300 dollars but they were saying I didn't with no evidence. I asked so many times to show me camera footage if I made mistake but she refused to do it. Bottom line is I'm never going back to Shearer's arms again. They just ripped me off with no evidence.

If u want a burnt garlic bread & a burnt garlic prawn pizza this is the place to eat.

My daughter and I shared the BBQ nibbles, they were awesome! She enjoyed her burger and chips, while I enjoyed my steak meal $19 for lunch decent steak meal

Food is delicious, haven't had a bad meal ever. The BBQ chicken wings are so good as is the pizza and steaks. Staff and locals have always been friendly.

Been coming to Shearers Arms for few years now. Love I can have fish and chips and hubbi with his steak. Always fabulous. Today my fish was so small I was sure it was bait!!! So small and it was all batter. MMMM do I come back for the same or move on?? On the other hand Hubbi had the best steak..

Average pub and atmosphere is nothing special. Quality of the food is not as good as in other pubs.

Love coming here this is our local favourite. Have never been disappointed, tried the Seafood Chowder last night. Absolutely Delicious.

It's a great pub..feed the mash was real..veg cooked perfect..nicely peppered sauce..It was a pleasant surprise.Cheers Shearers Arms Kitchen crew for keeping it real..the end.

Somehow someone ended up with a free pizza last night because it wasn't delivered to our table. We eventually received our pizza after everyone else had finished. I wasn't happy with how it was handled, and I'll probably head somewhere else for our weekly eat out evening.

Had lunch there today and totally happy with the experience, food was great and affordable and the staff and service commendable. We will be back. Linda and Neil Brisbane

Fairly basic tavern, bit barn like but good food and great service.

The atmosphere is fantastic. Service amazing. Love being able to order and pay separately at the table. My only issue was that the Guinness pot pie only had 3 pieces of meat, the rest was soggy carrots and gravy. The mash was lovely.

Food was over cooked with my fish meal being dry. Drinks are very expensive. Who pays $9.15 for a mid strength schooner? Won't be back.

Came here for a date. She didn't want a second date. But an awesome spot for a punt with the boys. Also has a great. family bistro area. Old school suburban pub and not trying to be anything else.

Nice friendly staff and place

Ordered a $45 rib eye steak medium rare, advertised as MSA grain fed from Nolan's private selection. It came out overcooked & tasted like it was from a grass fed cow who died of old age. My wife had the rump, supposedly grain fed 100 days. It was full of gristle and tough. Oysters natural were good, very fresh. Won't be returning there for a steak.

Had lunch there today with family. Barman was extremely nice/helpful and made the visit very enjoyable. Thank you.
