As tourists, we were incredibly impressed with the outstanding customer service provided by Tina and the young Colombian gentleman during our three consecutive visits to The Social. Their warm smiles and genuine attitudes made us feel so comfortable and welcome—it’s an experience we’ll never forget! The staff were exceptional, the food was absolutely delicious, and to top it all off, we enjoyed watching the tennis in such a fantastic atmosphere. Highly recommend this place for its amazing team and unforgettable dining experience.

We recently visited Social Eating House + Bar to celebrate our anniversary & engagement, & it was an unforgettable experience! From start to finish, everything was exceptional. The cocktails were divine, & the waitstaff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, & helpful throughout the evening. The food was absolutely to die for, with the sashimi being our favourite dish - delicious & fresh! A big thank you to the waitstaff for helping us choose dishes, as everything on the menu looked so tempting. They also assisted my fiancé in selecting the perfect wine to pair with his meal, which made the experience even more special. It was definitely worth every cent. A huge thank you to the chef, waitstaff, & bar staff for making our celebration so memorable! Highly recommend!

Lovely little hidden gem. Nice and quiet.

Popped in for a mid morning cocktail, Place was empty and it took over half hour to get the over priced Martinis and one was only half a glass. Shocking service.

Don’t waste your time here. Placed an order via the QR CODE. Waited for 20 minutes and had to walk up to the bar to ask for my drink.

Bar forget my wife's drink. Then tried to order a sliders but alas they were out. Then decided to order pizza but then that was also out. Seriously the menu is so small and to not have such simple menu items not available early on a Thursday night is a rookie mistake. Sorry guys but as a local I'm giving y'all the big thumbs down.

Rocked up here for brunch after arriving from Sydney and so glad we did. Place was clean and staff were super awesome. We had food and stayed for a couple of hours. Would rock up again

16 of us went for dinner on a Saturday night. Food was reasonably priced and tasty , staff was friendly . Went back on Sunday arvo for lunch & had similar good experience- highly recommended

Good Happy Hour!

The restaurant's happy hour is from 4pm to 6pm. I arrived at the restaurant at 5:54pm and no one was on duty. After a few minutes' waiting, I asked the front desk of the hotel to call a waiter or waitress to order for me so that I would not miss the happy hour. A few minutes later, a waitress called Ivette came slowly and refused to order the happy hour special for me. I said I missed happy hour because no one was on duty, not because I was late. She said she was only gone for 2 minutes, she was lying, I waited at least 4 minutes for her after I went to the front desk to find someone, not to mention the time I waited at the ordering counter.

Waited 10 mins to be acknowledged by staff walked away deciding I wasn't going to pay for that kind of poor service

How can one employee ruin the work of all the others. We've been here approximately 4 times in the last 8-9 day's. All staff apart from Jarrod were fantastic. He's customer service with me was virtually non-existent and telling me how much he hates making the drink my wife ordered wasn't what I wanted to hear. All staff apart from him were fantastic and deserved 5 stars, definitely not coming back again on this holiday!

Located under the voco, the social house is the perfect place for a coffee, a meal, and drinks. A favourite of the locals, it's classy yet relaxed. The staff are friendly and if you want to play the pokies in suefers paradise away from the crowded clubs, then this place is worth a visit.

Had some drinks here with a friend. Great looking place with lots of relaxing seating options, both inside and out. Very reasonable prices. Jule, the lovely German lass behind the bar was really nice. Will come back and try the Restaurant soon.

Social House was a lovely environment to have a couple of drinks and relax, comfortable environment, happy hour 4-6pm and helpful and friendly staff members. Recommended if you are looking for somewhere to watch the next footy game or just somewhere to have a more comfortable place to park yourself as the seats and coushes are everything!

Value for money….

Loved our meal here. Four of us had steak and chips, pizza, chicken Bangkok salad, haloumi and steak sandwich baguette. All delicious. Cocktails were also fabulous and made exactly as we had requested. We’ll definitely be back.

Probably the worst meal we had on our vacation. Both the fish tacos and chicken burger were tasteless and also left my husband and I feeling queasy. The staff however is really nice and helpful.

Great food, service and ambience. Will definitely come back when we return to the Gold Coast.

Dined for lunch. Shared 2 meals from the express lunch menu. We shared the roasted vege pizza & loaded chicken schnitzel. $15 each & included a beer/wine/soft drink also. Both meals were tasty. Good value for lunch. Service friendly.

Social Hosue is easily accessible to the hotel guests, and the maitre d'hotel is real friendly. Panko reef and steak sandwich in pic.

Nice atmosphere with great wings and lovely food. Service was exceptional.

We booked about a week in advance. We got seated out the back on the foot path and I had to look at the bins from the kitchen. I had to move the table myself so we could actually sit down. I asked when we arrived if we could move but was told we needed to book months in advance to get a seat inside. The staff did apologise but we won’t be going back.

I don’t have enough kind words to say about the staff here. All the bar girls [ and boy + security ] where so accomodating, funny and hard working but not as hard working as their manager Ann that did everything to serve her customers with a smile. Truely made their establishment my local whilst I was on holidays. Thank you again guys and see you next time around 😘.

Our little group of three wandered in to this lovely lounge style café/bar (sophisticated pub really) the night before the GC marathon. There were some cozy corners, open dining areas and an outdoor bar area with gas heating on a coolish evening. A giant TV in the lounge area for those wanting to watch current footy games or sporting events. It was not a busy night and our experience was very positive. Very pleasant, welcoming staff and we were invited to sit anywhere we pleased. Order and pay at the bar. The pizza bianca was possibly the best I have ever eaten. The seafood linguini was good (very garlicky so be aware!) and apparently the fish burrito was ‘okay’. I would go back just for the pizza and plan to before heading home. I believe the burgers are excellent! 4.5 ⭐️ Update - went back again for the yummy pizza and some sweet potato chips before leaving the GC - we were not disappointed! 🍕 🍟👍

Saturday 11am, 0 staff (one that was on was nice, the other didn't care), 37 minutes for some calamari strips and a small basket of chips that I ended up grabbing myself from the kitchen. Don't bother.

Today is 14/04/2022 This is a lady don’t know how to do the job. Spend 5 mins put one order into the system and spend another 10mins for making these 3 coffees. (2 ice long black and one ice coffee) and after all she made the wrong coffee and tell me there is no lid for the cups. Apparently this lady is not qualify for this job. I respect her. But please hire more ppl to do the job and right ppl. And by the way. While I’m waiting . 2 groups of customers leaving because she is too slow. If you can see this post. The manager of social house. You really should do something

In a city that is clearly struggling to bounce back, this review pains me. Quiet Thursday night. Ordered at 7:10pm. Food (Steak and a burger) arrived at 8:15pm. Only three other tables in the restaurant, one which had already received food. I can accept delays due to staff shortages and covid but come on now. What a joke. Steak didn't have the fat rendered, leaving white inedible fat on the end pieces. Gravy tasted like watery gravox. Wait staff were considerate and apologised when serving.

Very slow service. It took more than an hour for the food to come, and there are only 3 tables ordering food. Ordered medium steak but it was more overly well-done. Its clearly issue with the kitchen. Gave 2 stars as it still has nice ambience and wait staff were trying their best and were polite.

Just surprised how can be a $15 express lunch “steak sandwich with a tap beer”!? I just can say so fantastic and delicious 🤩

A hidden gem, the perfect place to go watch sport on their massive tv. They have great bar food, the burgers, wings and calamari are great and you get incredible service.

Right at the tram station- lovely quiet comfortable seating- food was fantastic- service was well trained and happy- definitely will be back

Great big screen poor service and too expensive

Friendly service, reasonable prices and tasty meals. Layout of tables and chairs is a little uninviting and more like a hotel lobby (which it kind of is as it is next to the real hotel lobby).

Called the desk yesterday (very wet and windy day) to ask if they had any live music, etc and was told they didn't but there's a great vibe at the moment. We got there within 15 minutes to find out we were two of 5 other people in the venue. No atmosphere whatsoever. However with the right setting it could be a very enjoyable venue I believe.

So bad, I'm a local that used to come here for a drink before covid and we loved it back then, now service was terrible, the bar staff didn't know if chardonnay was a white or red wine! And $10 for a house wine!!!! really, the surf club I think.

I was looking at Booking my 21st birthday with The Social House Lounge & Eva, the sales & marketing coordinator was nothing but the best of help regarding the venue, menus & everything in between Absolutely amazing customer service over the phone & via email. If looking to book a function or event, I highly recommend this place!

Nice, stylish, modern place to have some time with your friends. for couple of drinks and something to eat. Like atmosphere and layout of the place so you can feel comfortable and cosy at the same time. I would recommend this place for everyone who would like to have some time out with their friends.

우선 맥주는 Tap 으로 페일에일 두잔. 두잔 다 베리 굿. 안주는 코리안 스타일 윙. 한국현지보다 훨씬 크리스피한 느낌이고 같이 나온 쏘스는 고추장과 칠리소스를 섞은 느낌. 은근히 달달해서 중독성있음. 7시정도까지 라이브공연도 있었음. 수준급ㅋ 직원들 친절하며 깨끗하고 분위기도 비싸보이는데 가격은 합리적수준임.

Great sports bar that expands out to al fresco, into the hotel and towards their main restaurant. Lots of different seating areas for large or small gatherings. We had the cheeseburger and chicken burger and both were great. Large burgers with lots of flavour. Can cater for gluten free too!

Fantastic share plates, if you are In surfers and happen to be near Q1 pop over the road to the Voco hotel and try a share plate at the social house, juicy pork belly,tender calamari, arancini balls,spicy wings and melt in the mouth beef cheeks all on one amazing share plate, more tha enough for 2 people we took our 2 youngest kids ans just,added a basket of fries to make dinner for 4😀, if you like a bit of spice try the jalapeno margaritas.. Nice and spicy, super friendly staff and special mention to Brandon who did a great job looking after us and made the kids happy to, cheers
