Had a problem with my DVR and visited the store during the week and was greeted by Justin. He quickly gave me the best most cost effective solutions. I left the unit in the store and got a call within 2 hours and said he had fixed the issue. Highly recommend asking for Justin who was fast, reliable and honest. What a great shop this is to have in Sunbury. I really miss the good ol’ fashioned service we used to be provided with back in the 80’s and 90’s in the smaller independent stores rather than the giants. In saying that, I want to give a special mention to Justin who greeted us welcomely and warmly upon arrival. His friendly and helpful demeanour was really refreshing, and I really felt comfortable in his approach. Thank you Justin for your help from the beginning of my query as you followed it through to the end to get the result I was after. Just bought a lead battery from them. The staff were so professional that other companies can learn from them. They have set the standard of what customer service really is. Its a welcome change from what passes off in todays day and age for customer service. The staff member could have tried to get me to buy a more expensive battery but chose instead provided the best option gor my needs. Well done.

Check what products they’re trading as Jaycar under… and what they’re not. Travelled to this store from out of town to purchase a product stocked by both Jaycar and Sunbury City Electrical only to find they wouldn’t price match Jaycar. Staff happy to patronise me about the difference - but couldn’t make the effort to apologise for the confusion.

Went in today asking for advice regarding AC adapter for a ukulele. The two young guys were extremely helpful, went over and beyond, and are a credit to the store. Would highly recommend.

Very unhelpful. Came in looking for a PSU and they weren’t willing to offer any assistance or even look up on their system for options. Very condescending.

I got prompt service and good advice, that's what I want from a specialist shop. Covid restrictions mean I can't browse but I could go in and buy stuff without having to click and collect which is pretty good.

This store is actually a Jaycar Electrical store, and there is nothing wrong with that! The staff are knowledgeable and helpful, and will take time to help you. They are not pushy either. If you lived through the 70's and 80's, this store is the equivalent of Dick Smith and Tandy. It sells a wide variety of electrical goods, components, air conditioning and hard to find kit. It is a pleasure to shop there!

Never seems to have items in stock. Or items are crazy expensive. eBay is much more preferred

Excellent store with electronic devices and components to offer the DIY enthusiast. Peter and staff are a great help, providing expert advice and friendly service. The range or components and accessories is broad with plenty of gadgets to browse and choose from. If you need suggestions on your project they are more than happy to patiently assist.

So friendly and helpful! Knew exactly what I needed, even when I had no idea. Helped me out right away and were so nice. Definitely recommend, definitely will be coming back!
