24/7 banking at your fingertips, who needs human staff to handle your life savings when pubs, clubs and casinos have pokies
Open Saturday but they don’t have tellers. Y even open if you They is no one on tellers.
I needed a travel money and the staff were super helpful and quick.
Recent refurb means the tellers area is very noisy, could hardly hear the tellers voice over the background noise (ATM machines and coin counting and sundry noise). Use of hard surfaces makes all sound echo in the void. Staff try hard but its a stressful experience.
Was served today by a woman who acted like me unlocking my savings account to transfer money was the worlds biggest inconvenience to her. And then proceeded to call me hun when I left without even looking up at me. Doesn’t hurt to have a smile sometimes :)

CBA are grubs. I refinanced my homeloan to another bank and they deliberately didn't organise their side so that the settlement would be delayed and force me to make another payment. Would never bank with them again.
About the only ATM after 8pmin half of the city of the Gold Coast and they can't even maintain it to take a deposit
Disgusting service , worst bank, rude ,unhelpful and branch has been shrunk to a size of a shoebox with the queue going outside , my local suburb nerang has huge population but they shut that branch for no reason it was just as bad, banks are bad enough as if they are struggling for $$$ and helensvale Westfield branch is hopeless , limited staff, bad service, no answers , customers treated like cattle 🐄👎🙍♂️ I remember good old days where you could actually walk into a bank without getting interrogated at the entrance by a Muppet 🐸 with no answers

Would give zero stars if I could. Their deposit machine never takes coins, and spits out notes as unrecognisable" half the time. Doors close before 4pm and staff aren't interested in helping you. Got the message loud and clear: don't use CommBank and go elsewhere!"
Very dissapointing CBA. I went into Helensvale branch last week with a business banking request that couldnt be done on line. I waited an hour to finally see some One that I was told could help me. That wasn't the case and I was then told that a business banking person would call me that afternoon. 5 days later im still waiting on that call...wow. a great way to keep customers. I am now looking into other banking options. CBA YOU are a joke. Max profit and no service Also been trying to deposite coins at atm out of hours. Machine is still broken. Maybe you can't afford to fix it

I have been a Commonwealth customer for more than 20 years. I am frustrated that I have tried 5 times to deposit coins. Not something I do often, however, I work full time and bank hours are quite limited. I can only go out of hours. Every time I try to deposit through the “ so called , coin deposit “ ATM, the coin deposit is “out of order” a staff member told me to try at Nerang, however, I live closer to the Helensvale branch. Considering the fact that the coin machine is constantly “out of order” at Helensvale, perhaps Commonwealth either think about repairing the machine or install a second one to meet client demand???
The “women” who Work in this branch are the witches of Eastwick. They will treat you like you’re 5 yrs old! Rude and arrogant. The “manager” is gutless as she likes to hide and get one of her door witches to play “manager” who flip they’re name badge around so you don’t notice. Get your money out of this bank asap! Close your accounts and move to a smaller bank.
The bank teller was extremely rude today to a customer who was trying to transfer money to a person he was buying a car off treating him like he was trying to fraud the seller when he was in there sending money directly to the seller Extremely ratially motivated

Left two messages regarding a query before going to the branch. It has been a little frustrating.
Went into the helensvale branch and was met by alisha who was rudest most arrogant women, asked what do you want! I stated I need to get a statement sent to myself. She then said no u can just call up and tried ushering me out the door. While the lady on the phone said I had to come in. Will definitely be closing my loan once it's paid off and going through Westpac. Absolutely appalling service

Went there this morning. The staff asked me to sit down and grabbed my name. She said it would take around 10 minutes, waited for like more than half n hour and saw people who arrived after me were getting called in. I asked another staff who was at the front how long would it take and this is what she said “Oh your name is not here”. Would never go to get some help to this branch again. Disappointed.
It is pointless opening on Saturday if you cant withdraw money from a teller . What are the staff there for ? To direct you to the well signed atm, and teach us how to use something that's been around for decades

On outside of shops hard to see on google maps and on shop information map where it is. Drive along outside shops and you'll find it

My experience with Kim was definitely above and beyond, her incredible customer service, knowledge and understanding helped in more ways than I anticipated and made me very happy to be a customer of Comm Bank Thank you Kim!

Very disappointed.They laughed at me and said that I was involved in a scam and I was not. It was legitimate transaction. And I was made to feel very disrespected when I have been a customer since 1980. I look forward to a phone call from manager from this brand or I go to the next level.
Staff are all so lovely and caring. I usually hate going into the bank but the ladies at Helensvale make me feel so comfortable and welcomed. Particularly one staff member Steph, she helped me through a really rough time. I'm so glad this is my local bank.

Got their before opening, being an invalid, I was asked if I wanted a chair, very thoughtful, got in to do a home settlement, all of the staff were very friendly and helpful, great experience.
Didn't find the manager Jade particularly customer oriented and she never bothered to return my calls before close of business, or at all.

Don't know where the negative comments from. We went Commonwealth bank Helensvale many times. Great service and fast response. We didn't wait too long to deposit.
Don't know about the negative reviews below, I went to Helensvale Commonwealth Bank today to do a deposit, it was busy, but the ladies there were making sure everyone was being looked after, a lovely service lady J came up to me and took me to the deposit machine and helped me, she was polite, friendly and great help. Was served within a few minutes, GREAT service.
I’m in shock, the bank is still in 19 century. The fees are highest in the world and never announced before transactions. The staff is illiterate and untrained.

Extremely bad experience! Senior consultant 'KIM' was extremely rude over the phone in my first encounter with the branch. She deliberately made me feel like an inferior piece of dirt when I asked about a process, informing me that she'd been doing it for 20yrs and knew better than I". As a middle aged woman I felt incredibly violated & intimidated. As a Helensvale local never will I or my family have any future dealings with Commonwealth Bank Helensvale."
They were helpful with us. We had to do a large withdrawal which usually needs an appointment but they were kind enough to override it and let us do it. The staff was nice and accommodating but there was a bit of a wait. They are busy so plan ahead.
Summary: international travel, this has been a minefield to navigate with appalling standards of communication, no consistency and lack of information provided not only by the branch but also by the call centre resulting in an adolescent being stuck in a foreign airport without any resources to purchase food and drink despite being reassured by the call centre that everything was in place - before travelling. Visited the branch for an international travel card for our child travelling overseas. It was chaotic to say the least with no kind of queuing system in place, after being ushered towards the teller by the person who greeted us and knew what we were there for, and a 30 minute wait we were told she is too young for a travel card, and that we could not have one because we were not going with, and they now knew this - offered to update the system, (and did so). Said child called to double check (sadly because we know we can't rely on this bank to do something consistently and trust them to follow through) was reassured everything was fine and good to go, only to end up in a foreign country at the airport to have her card declined and blocked for 'security reasons'. Will not recommend this bank and definitely not the HELENSVALE branch.
Went in here on my lunch break to use the quick deposit machine to be standing behind two people making multiple deposits one after the other, after waiting 10 minutes and no luck I went into the branch to seek assist only to find all three bank tellers helping ONE customer and looking at me dumbfounded for 5 minutes I walked out. Worst Custer service.

Absolutely ridiculous, friend went in just to get cash out as her card was lost and the attendant SHARON! Was just asking completely pointless questions and then instead of giving her the cash out, she proceeded to get another lady to show her how to do careless cash, very poor customer service and Sharon was just plain rude !!!

I can not recommend the lending manager, Mikel highly enough! His friendly, efficient and professional service definitely makes any lending process so much easier, smoother and less stressful.

I've been a customer and client of this branch for a couple of years now. They are open 7 days a week and offer all things finance. I don't think anyone can top that. Everyone is very pleasant to deal with and I enjoy how this branch will have their customer reps come out and greet you and ask exactly what you are after. Maybe the previous 1 star rating was from one of the other big 4 banks trying to lure customers to their own branch.
