Outstanding Service! We had the pleasure of being served by Bec, and she was absolutely fantastic! From the moment we sat down, she was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed. Her professionalism and warm personality truly stood out. It’s not every day you come across such excellent service—she definitely deserves recognition! We will be coming back again, thanks to her great hospitality.

We love the BT. We come down regularly after a rehearsal @ spotlight theatre. The staff are so lovely, and always open for a chat. Highly recommend!!!!

Always been a family favourite since we moved to the area in 1982.

We went here on Friday evening 31/02/25 and I couldn't believe how kind and helpful and pleasant alllllll the staff were. From the young lady manager who was playing with the kids and making sure they were safe outside to talking to us at the table and making us feel welcomed. To the ladies behind the food counter helping me with my order I stuffed up ( my fault I read the kids meal deals wrong) and letting fixing it with the kitchen even after I got the meals serviced ...(unbelievably thank you! Normally working with the back kitchen is difficult but nothing was difficult when fixing and correcting my stuff up order!) The bar service was pleasant and cheerful.... Alllllll your staff was so happy to be there... Which made us happy to be there and keep drinking eatting.... It's been many years since I've seen happy staff and back towards the customers too... Your clearly being good to your employees for their Wonderful work additude as they show it back to us customers. Food was amazing great selection and huge decent meals. I wish this place was my local...sadly I live in NSW....but we will be back absolutely. Thanks to all staff who worked this night. Cheers 🥂 P.s loved the kids steak option....never seen this in pubs cheers 🥂

He knew the menu inside out and gave great recommendations for both food and drinks. The service was prompt, and he checked in just the right amount to make sure we had everything we needed without being intrusive. His warm personality really added to the atmosphere of the place. I’ll definitely be coming back and hope to see Daniel again! Highly recommend!

The food was great, and the standard beverage expected, I would go back anytime. The venue is well kept, but showing its age, my only comment to think about is that the entrance doors are not auto opening.

Perfect for families! The kids room and playground kept my kids entertained for hours. The kids meals are amazing value and all the food is great!

Staff are very rude. As I only had access to my photo ID they said I had to stand outside in addition one of my friends was told his ID is invalid as it just expired but it was clearly a valid licence. They then proceeded to bring out my steak burnt. Service, staff and food was horrible.

Unfortunately we are taking this to the Human Rights Commission as we called out discriminatory and bad behaviour to our family by a new staff member. We will be asking them to train the staff and asking for compensation. The manager Sian did not deescalate the situation and left us feeling distressed. This should have never happened.

Food took too long to come out waited well over an hour for food and had to tell them I was diabetic and food came out after I would avoid this place at all costs

Had another fantastic night for my daughter’s 21st. Great place. Dan the man behind the bar was awesome. Thanks Benowa tavern.

I’ve been visiting this venue for years. The food is always nice, & the staff are always super friendly & helpful.

Came for a late night snack and the staff initially said that they wouldn’t serve alcohol but when we asked for snacks they changed their minds and said that they are closed for trading!!

We had our 10 year reunion for Benowa High in their Terrace Bar function room over the weekend & it was a fantastic night! The space was set up perfectly for a casual cocktail-style event with a private bar, a sound system we could hook up our own music to & the space had a great atmosphere. I’d like to give a special mention & big thank you to Daniel & Hudson (Rafa) for being amazing & attentive bartenders and event staff. They looked after us so well and were kind enough to help me put up decorations beforehand as well. You guys are awesome! Food platters were also fab & overall, would recommend Benowa Tavern for special events! Definitely a Benowa icon.
