Our waiter was Michael. He recommended everything perfectly. The eye fillet steak and the Barramundi was perfect. and communicated to the chef that we were seeing the show and timed everything. Thanks, Michael.

Serendipity is when you miss out on the buffet but discover The Garden Kitchen! Thursday nights are Jazz night - sooo good! Everything exceeded expectations. Don't miss the AMAZING prawn risotto... o..m...g! Our waiter Michael was just wonderful and added to the overall wonderful experience.

We enjoyed the atmosphere of the restaurant, including the live jazz band. Michael was our waiter: he was very knowledgable and extremely passionate about the food. We ordered the tomahawk steak, which was delicious and perfectly cooked. We trusted Michael and the chef's recommendation regarding how to cook the steak and it was perfect.

An overall wonderful and memorable dinner. Fabulous food and our waiter Michael (ala Christopher Lloyd) was exceptional. Highly recommended!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had a wonderful experience at the Garden Kitchen & Bar thanks to our server, Michael. He was incredibly well-rounded and provided us with extensive information about the menu. His excellent service made us feel welcomed and valued. Michael's recommendations were spot-on, enhancing our dining experience. It's clear he knows the menu inside and out, and his friendly demeanour while also providing us value facts and information about dishes cooking processes as well as it’s origins. I would highly recommend asking for him when you visit!

We had lunch here on a Saturday and it was awesome, food was great the chefs in the back did lan amazing job. Service was amazing we were served by Michael who knew his stuff like the back of his hand especially his wine and tequila cocktails, made us feel at home. 10/10 will be back!

Located inside The Star Gold Coast beautifully decorated with warm and light background music soothing the environment. Quick and fast table service. Foods were absolutely delicious. Loved everything, but calamari was the take among any others as it felt so light and melted in your mouth.

Michael was our waiter, he was friendly and real. He was enthusiastic and his knowledge of the menu was outstanding. I ordered the Airlie beach prawns and the Salmon, and it was the best meal that I have eaten out in along time. I would highly recommend the Garden Kitchen & Bar.

First time to The Star and popped in here for dinner. Was pleasantly surprised when we read the menu and then even more pleasantly surprised when Micheal came to our table to talk about drinks. He recommended a fantastic cocktail called a Paloma. His knowledge and enthusiasm was refreshing not only about the drinks but also food. Prawn risotto was delightful as recommended, but a side dish of chilli flakes would have elevated this dish. The baked bread is a must and the Oxheart tomato salad was a perfect pairing. We will be back to try some chargrilled steak later in the week. Would highly recommend this place.

The best culinary experience of our holidays by far. Fantastic food that was truly delicious but what made the night even more special was the staff.
