Reasonable price, you get what you pay for and then some when you don’t receive your $200 deposit back.

This was a fabulous stay in 118a/b apartment booked through airb&b. The 2 rooms were fabulous and clean as the owners take pride in their presentation. The location provides walking access to Q1, the beach's and the ocean restaurant frontages. It also has all the amenities that you would expect from a resort with pool, gym and tennis courts. This is a mixed complex with airb&b and hotel management rooms. For quality and cleanliness there is a large differential with the airb&b offering a superior experience as shown by the disparent ratings here. So my advice is to book through airb&b for superior rooms like we did rather than standard booking services and you will be pleased you did like we were.

Value for money, rooms could do with upgrading but still passable, pool area was very good, however my balcony was covered in bird poop. Front desk was very helpful. Very conveniently placed for all local shops and entertainment

The location is great, right by the Nerang river. The price was really good too only costing us around $400 for 4 nights, however there is a $200 security deposit to keep in mind. The room had a toilet with a shower that had hot water. The shower head was not the strongest. The room also had a kettle and microwave. Tv and lamps were working too. However out on the balcony there was an excess amount of bird excrement that had not been cleaned in a while and the walls all had what seemed to be stab marks from a previous customer. Other then that the room was nice and cosy. There are elevators on the two wings of the hotel as long as a clothes washing machine located on each level. There are also trash chutes next to every elevator. Since there is no room service you must leave the room clean and tidy with no rubbish. There is a pool that stays open till 10pm allowing you to enjoy the pool at night with it’s beautiful lighting. There is also a gym and sauna. The reception area is nice with wonderful aromas and the staff is nice and friendly.

Don't waste your money. The only good thing is the staff are very nice. The rooms are outdated and filthy. I had bugs & mould in my room. I don't know how this place is open with the amount of health concerns.. Surely needs to be investigated. The pool, gym & sauna is literally the ONLY nice part for this resort". I wouldn't call it a resort as it doesn't offer anything different to a motel. The restaurant has closed down (most likely due to how unclean the place is). There's also no cutlery in the rooms or plates etc. I had ordered takeaway as I had a long day and had to use a teaspoon to eat it. Wouldn't stay here again unless upgrades and refurbished because the place has potential if in the right hands."

One of the cheapest resorts on the Gold Coast that is in a great location and just a short walk to Cavill Ave. you couldn’t ask for a better location for the price. Rooms are basic, if you’re expecting 5 star level detail you’re looking in the wrong place but for the price the room was clean, beds comfortable and the facilities are great. Tennis court was good to have a hit and the pool area is a nice quiet and great for the kids. Would absolutely recommend staying here if you’re on a budget and I’ll be happily booking here again if I’m ever back.

Good location.

Room very disappointing, holes in doors no security door lock or chain.everything locked up at 10 gates ext,got locked out at the river had to call reception to open it I WAS NOT HAPPY. RESTAURANT in the resort but has shut down,this is far from a resort ,to the managers clean this place up open the restaurant such a shame ,it is so run down, neglected

Room was a good size but not cleaned well, sand all over the tiles inside and on the balcony a whole pile. Found a pair of tweezers left behind, no tea towel to dry dishes and aircon remote so hard to see controls, obviously needs new batteries. When I mentioned this at checkout it was a shrug of the shoulders reply. Not worth the money we paid for 1 night.

Thankyou to the kindest reception staff for making it feel so homely here. The building may be a little old, but that is just a reflection of how well-loved it is.

Rooms are disgusting, Indian smell. Rust in the shower mould in the bathroom. Couch had filthy stains all over it. Bed base was about to break. The lady and man on front reception are highly rude and dismissive. Didn’t receive my “hold” deposit back until over a week later. Cheap and dirty

Ive stayed here numerous times. My son and I always enjoy the pool and tennis court. Ive always walked away feeling like ive got value for money.

Terrible Experience – Not Worth $270 Per Night. We deeply regret booking this hotel. For $270 a night, we would have been better off staying at a backpackers' hostel. The room reeked of musky mould, making it unbearable from the moment we walked in. The couch was so stained and smelly that we didn’t even want to sit on it or place our bags there. The curtains were also stained, and the windows appeared to have gone uncleaned for months. The furniture was peeling, and the overall state of the room was appalling—it made us feel physically sick. We immediately went downstairs to speak with the admin staff, but they had no alternative rooms available (nor offered at the least a discount or an apology) After reading other reviews (which I wish I had done beforehand), it’s clear this isn’t a new issue. Despite numerous complaints, nothing has been done to improve the conditions. At the very least, this hotel should replace its carpets, which are clearly contributing to the overwhelming musk and mouldy smell. Even just switching to tiles in all rooms rather than just some, would be a massive improvement. The only redeeming factor was the bed, which was at least decent enough to sleep on. However, we stayed out most of the night to avoid being in the room and left as early as possible the next morning. I have stayed in multiple cheap hotels all around the world and this has been by far the worste accommodation I have ever stayed. This place is far from worth the price and should seriously reconsider calling itself a resort." Save your money and book elsewhere."

Wonderful location, many attractions and highlights within walking distance

The staff was incredibly friendly, helpful, and checked me in early from my morning flight. They are also arranged a cab for my early 6am flight out. The room was spacious but felt like a lived in apartment. The gym was functional and the basketball court was fun but covered in sand. The hotel location was close enough to the beach madness without feeling like you were always in the holiday mess of tourists shops and stuff.

Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral, direkt gegenüber vom Zentrum der Gold Coast und nur ein paar Straßen vom Strand entfernt. Unser Zimmer bot sowohl tagsüber als auch nachts eine beeindruckende Aussicht. Allerdings war das Zimmer etwas in die Jahre gekommen und hätte sauberer sein können, war aber insgesamt akzeptabel. Eine Renovierung wäre dennoch wünschenswert. Der Pool ist zwar klein, reicht aber für eine kurze Abkühlung aus. Außerdem gibt es einen Whirlpool mit warmem Wasser, der für Entspannung sorgt. Das Personal war freundlich und zuvorkommend, was den Aufenthalt angenehm gemacht hat.

Price and location is brilliant. The concept of the room is great, with dining, lounge, self-contained kitchen. But it is dated. Don't expect much.||The splash back needed wiping down from someone's coffee splashes. Need to improve the coffee and milk options. The kitchen drawers were all scratched. ||Such a shame because it is in an ideal spot. Pool area is absolutely beautiful

Positive: It looked nice from the outside. Negative: Our room was filthy. I would sack the cleaner because they are not doing their job. The glass doors were filthy with fingerprints and had not been cleaned. There was a dead cockroach in the bathroom. There was live cockroaches in the bedroom and on sofa.

This resort accommodate a need in the market for travellers that want to stay in surface paradise without the high pricetag. We had some issues with our room but. Niroj managed to accommodate the requirements we needed for us to have had a good stay. The customer service was great, and I’m told the swimming pool is amazing

Empfangsbereich war sauber und freundlich eingerichtet. Personal sehr Hilfsbereit und freundlich. … aber zum Glück hatten wir nur eine Nacht gebucht… Unser Zimmer war sehr alt eingerichtet, alles war Schmuddelig… Teppich voller Staub und Flecken… reinigung ist da wohl eine Fehlanzeige… Duschvorhang grau und richtig hässlich… Der Geruch im Zimmer war sehr Moderig… Der Pool war gemütlich und sauber. Fazit: ohne Renovation der Zimmer würde ich es definitiv nicht Empfehlen

Staff were great , any questions answered fast, UNTILL...asking for my room deposit. I was finally able to ring to get my bond back after 4 days.

Pool was beautiful.. Rooms need to desperately be refurbished , updated and given a good clean to be up to a resort standard though. Staff were lovely .

aircon was rattling and sounded like a cicada (not good) beds felt like a seesaw (left to right) bathroom was just gross 🤢 good parking tho shade and stuph alright wifi lady at reception was meh, bit snarky honestly

For the budget conscious this is good value for what you get. Remember this is not a luxury 5star place. Rooms were decent size, we walked to Cavil Ave easily, pool was great. I think this was a good place to stay for the money.

Great little resort. A quiet spot in the heart of Surfers Paradise

Unit was very outdated (which would be ok if the cleanliness was up to scratch!) Explicit wrappers left behind in bedside drawers, along with dirty towels from previous occupants. Rubbish jammed behind tv cabinet. Made reception staff aware of this, but to no avail was anything done to rectify the situation! Very disappointing. Won’t be recommending Paradise Island Resort or staying here again.

Great location, clean rooms and huge bed! Excellent view from our balcony. I would recommend this place for good price. It’s simple, with fridge and kettle only but for the price it’s still a great choice. The only negative point is a kitchen in the downstair - we thought it’s possible to pay for buffet breakfast (which is written everywhere - for 10$ only) but it turned out to be just Indian breakfast everyday - not classic buffet breakfast - we have not seen there anyone.

It's great place for holiday.

Great location - 5 minute walk from the Surfers Paradise tram Station. The rooms were old and outdated with lots of things not working (lights, shower, power points). Great tennis and basketball court in the front accessible for all guests.

I wouldn’t stay here again. The rooms are incredibly filthy. Mould on aircon units and behind furniture, dust everywhere, dirty cups in the rooms. The pool area was the only good thing to be honest. It’s cheap, I guess that might be other people’s focus, probably ‘fine’ for one night if you absolutely had too.

Do not stay here. Rooms are filthy and in desperate need of an update, holes in walls, stains on couches etc. hallways smell like cigarette smoke and pets from permanent residents and whole place has a grungy feel and staff don’t seem to be concerned about it.

Pool closed, spa pool closed, room not up to 3 1/2 star quality. If I was asked would I recommend this (Resort) it would be a great Big never. If they had of told us the pool was closed we would have booked somewhere else.

Dirty rooms, broken toilet, dusty, weird stains, hairs from previous guest, and thin walls so you can hear EVERYTHING at night 🤢 Pros are staff friendly and good location. But would not recommend staying here.

We had a quick one night stay here and really only needed a place to sleep. ||It's an older building with rooms that are a bit outdated BUT, for the price it is completely fine. Our room was quite spacious as well.||The pool area looked pretty nice and enticing.||Walking distance into Cavil Ave, so many shops and dining options nearby.||I'd recommend if you're on a bit of a budget and not too bothered about having a very modern room.

We've stayed here a few times in different rooms and never had an issue. Close proximity to the city and really nice surrounds!!! Some apartments are better than others, however, the area is great!

Rooms very old, frayed carpet, large stains on carpet. Tidy enough though. Left items in room, not returned and when chased up nobody bothered to call me back.

Room was dirty and had many holes in the wall, shower drain was clogged. The worst part was that they decided to ENTER MY ROOM, REMOVE THE DOOR AND DO RENOVATIONS WHILE MY CONTRACT WAS STILL ACTIVE. Nobody gave me notice of the renovations and my stuff was left covered in dust by the time I came back to my room. I went and asked reception about this and was met with the rudest and least helpful person. They should be held accountable for terminating my contract way before the final date and time while not giving any notice about this. THE FACT THAT THEY EVEN ASK FOR A $200 HOLDING DEPOSIT IS UNBELIEVABLE. DO NOT STAY HERE, the only good thing is the location but you’ll be better off staying literally anywhere else.

住在飯店裡面要出去玩交通非常的方便，有機會的話，我會繼續住在這家飯店，出門坐輕軌到坐公車火車🚄都很方便，玩了很開心。

Great location, good amenities, gym, sauna, pool, nice staff. Room was clean but lacked chairs, coffee table, something to put a cup on.

We stayed for 4 nights. Great location and facilities. Some attention could be given to the rooms (eg a chair for the desk, a coffee table for the couch), and cleaning the patio. Wifi in the room had great signal, but terrible bandwidth, so needed to go elsewhere to remote work.

Room had everything you needed but could do with a freshen up. Few things are broken or not working. Needs sorted. Hated crossing the busy highway to get to surfers.

Unfortunately the doors slam closed here, so you can hear everyone coming and going all thru the day & night. I didn't get a lot of sleep even with my earplugs 😭 Also the place really needs a proper cleaning, the walls all have liquid drops and makeup marks and who knows what else all over them. Mum even found onions on the TV table so it was pretty gross. Especially since it was our first time staying here since Covid 19, so it made me a little worried about about our health, If this was as good as the cleaning got 😭👎 I booked 2 singles but they were unable to accommodate this as the cleaning ladies had gone home, so mum had to sleep on a roller bed which they placed in front of the TV and it stuffed her back up. I really don't understand this if they can't accommodate the bed configuration they'd shouldn't have let me book and pay for it 😡 so we were pretty annoyed. I would have booked elsewhere so we got the 2 beds we needed. My poor Mum's still in pain 👎 and it took up all the space we had and we couldn't watch TV. It was also in front of the balcony doors so Even going in and out there was a mission. I've stayed here a lot before over the years but this was definitely not a good experience and I don't know if I'll be back

Went through Airbnb to stay here 3 nights. Tidy, clean, great service, hotel was quiet and peaceful. Easy access after hours through fob key. A lovely experience!

Although I arrived late at night, I could always call a number and somebody would come to help me or check me in. Nice area, great location, nice sauna.

Room was quite dirty and dusty, the only thing that looked to be fresh was the sheets on the bed. Didn't feel comfortable enough to even sit on the lounges or chairs. Only good thing about the place was the location. Other reviews match our experience.

I was visiting member of family at this resort, the furniture need to be replaced and upgraded for the price is paid is expensive ! And room needs to be refurbished thanks
