2025 Back again for the same reason. Excellent Chef for a small venue. Had Beer battered Barramundi. Was there for a special big band Jazz event to support a family member. The band was quite good considering they are not professionals. Food was nice. One chef working quite hard. Did a good job. Had lamb cutlets. Plenty of parking.

First time here but definitely won’t be the last! A modern, clean and large dining area with a bar and plenty of parking. Went for an Australia Day lunch and it was excellent. They have a new chef and a new menu and must say the food was delicious!!! They had an Australia Day buffet which was terrific, especially the Chicken Schnitzel which was moist and yummy - best I’ve had. A big serve of Pavlova with berries was the dessert; everyone cleaned that up quick! The bowls was happening and the entertainment was very good. Of course the usual lucky door prize and raffles took place. All in all a great afternoon, well run and most enjoyable!!! Will go back …especially for the happy hours and the breakfasts.

Went there to watch my girl mark 3 games at the Australian Open. Very well run club and nice greens. The kitchen handled the catering with ease.

A group of 40 of us arrived for lunch today, we had pre-ordered the meals, Chicken Schnitzel, Fish & Chips, Salt & Pepper Calamari, Zucchini & Corn Fritters and Chicken Katsu Curry. All the meals came out hot, fresh, plentiful and well presented. Feedback from everyone was so positive it would have been an injustice to the Chef if l didn’t organise a 5 star review. Huge thanks to Narelle, Chef and Courtney for a wonderful lunch & service. We will definitely be back again.

We held my daughter's wedding reception there in the function room.... It was the first wedding they have held there for awhile and it was great. Excellent staff and special thanks to Hayley and the young guy that was helping her ( I can't remember his name) that had to put up with us after a few drinks 😂

Used to be such good fun at trivia, we attended a lot of other special events and even booked several very large functions ourselves. Lately we have been unhappy with the food and prices. The last straw is the announcement that the club has decided to reduce the prizes and charge us to play. We love our Quiz Mistress Lucy from Peppers Entertainment but we won't be back. So disappointing.

On ANZAC DAY after the Dawn service being a returned serviceman I attended with my wife and fellow ship mates and their families the Southport bowls club, for the gun fire breakfast. The welcome ,hospitality and staff were wonderful, thankyou for having us. You made us feel very welcome.

This was where we had the wake for my aunt. It was good in that it was quiet, because it has no poker machines , the staff attended to the requests we asked for and the sandwiches and cakes were great!

I attended a function this week and the entertainment was great. Unfortunately the kitchen let the club down. The food was absolutely appalling and would put me off dining there again.

Awesome environment that is fun for small or big groups of any age. Cheap to play bowls, free trivia and great priced food and drinks. Recommend to anyone, especially with blokes like Glen looking after you there.

Went here with my family for breakfast and coffee, played a round of bowls also. Great food, lovely atmosphere and staff were super friendly! Glenn kindly showed us the ropes and we had fun playing bowls. Couldn’t recommend them enough!

I've been to a few bowls clubs on the coast, but this is by far the best, if you're a barefoot/social bowler, this club will look after you the most. Great prices on the drinks, friendly service from the Manager (Glen) and best of all, the greens are good quality. We go late at least 3 times week and they never fail to to find a spot for us. Highly recommended.

I attended a function and... The yawn bowl court is good and the people explaining you how to play was awesome. But the food was so bad. Horrribe. Tasteless. Feel like lost $45 People left to go to a restaurant close by.

40th Anniversary Army reunion coinciding with Anzac Day 23 meant that this was the ideal place for celebration - RFCS1983 - Rebels with a cause because no Anzac parade should be cancelled

We just had our engagement party in the pavilion area at the club last Friday evening. The club went above and beyond with making sure everything went smoothly. Could not recommend this club enough to hold your event or just go down for a drink and a bowl. Thanks to Glenn and the team!!!

5 of us came here for bare foot bowls last Friday. The manager, Glen, was very friendly and helpful - explaining the rules and even giving us tips on best way to play. Exceptional service. Friendly staff all round and the meals looked reall good. We wil definitely be back!

Nice venue

After a walk around Broadwater Parklands, i decided to take my family from overseas to play some lawn bowls for the first time and found this place nearby. As we walked in, Glenn at the bar welcomed us with his very warm and friendly hospitality. He set up the bowls, put some fresh water and sunscreen on a table and went as far as telling us the rule and show us a quick demonstration. Glenn, you're an asset to this place and made a small non-english speaking family feel very welcomed! Thanks a lot!
