Hidden gem on the beach in Surfers

I had the privilege of having my 60th birthday celebrations at this amazing place on the weekend. Right from the get go, Alice and her awesome staff were truly wonderful. Every guest commented on how attentive the staff were. They were polite, nothing was a problem, they were just amazing. The view from the balcony, the food, the drinks everything was spot on. I cant rave about this place enough, so a big THANKYOU for such a memorable night.

Public holiday breakfast for 6 was prompt, hot with a great view. Not too much more you could ask for. Coffee wasn't as good as the big breakfast. Eggs Benedict was the standout from our table.

Can't go wrong with a good pub feed a pearler of a view with a cold beer one of my favourites in Surfers Paradise that's for sure

Tasty food, nice drinks, good service.

Our little family of 4 really enjoyed a dinner here last night, friendly service, delicious food served with amazing efficiency, solid portions at surf club prices. The steak and seafood at our table were both perfectly prepared. With a strong range of cold drinks and a laid back atmosphere, this is an oasis of normality amongst the craziness of Surfers Paradise.

Been coming here for a couple of months instead of the cafe I usually go to up the road. Big breakfast is fantastic.

Chilli Prawn pasta was delicious. My group also had four steaks, and everyone was happy with their meals. Well cooked, great service, and decent value. Definitely worth dropping in for a decent feed in a nice relaxed casual environment.

Catch cool breezes and great value priced food at waterfront Surfers Paradise SLSC. Popular watering hole for locals and socialising on the balcony overlooking the Esplanade and awesome Surfers Paradise beach. Highly recommend the scrumptious Bacon and Egg Roll from the lunch menu - yumo.

We’ve been coming here for years and have always enjoyed the food, but today I got the salt and pepper squid as usual and it was overcooked, dried out and almost impossible to eat, my husbands meal was great but my meal was so very disappointing 😞

Caught up with friends for dinner on a Sunday night ( 5.30). Music was so loud that we had to scream at each other to be able to hear. Wife and I both ordered the fish which looked and tasted like it had just come out of a box.

Awesome spot for a cold beer and good pub feed while looking out over the ocean. Head upstairs for the best seats on the house. The parmy is 10/10 here!!

Awful, worst experience I have had eating out. Rude staff , small portions of food - when asking for more relish etc was asked to pay more. Also bacon and eggs were under cooked - strongly suggest avoid this place for breakfast.

I have been a local social member here for 6 years. Great views, reasonable food, good prices. Bar staff aren’t particularly friendly but management are working on it. Go along and support a good cause.

Have dined here many times & most of the time the meals are decent. Ordered the 300GM Black Angus MB3 Scotch Fillet Steak for $42. I could not believe what came out! A thin piece of steak that looked like a supermarket special.. It was tasteless and full of gristle. I complained to the wait staff but they just said sorry & did nothing about it.. Pretty sure I received the wrong steak? I won't be back for dinner here

Everytime we give this place a chance, we are me with the same challenge. The older lady in the kitchen is abrupt and rude, when we ask questions about the food. We are only asking because one of the children has an allergy.

Went for a swim at Surfers Paradise beach for the first time in 30 years and started to think about lunch. Looked across the road from the beach......look no further. The perfect location to eat,drink and admire the waves I was just in. Great way to spend an afternoon.

Although in a tourist area, retains old surf club vibe, menu and prices.

Nice casual dinner. Friendly staff and enjoyed all of our food except for the calamari/squid which was heavily battered and deep fried.

Attended a Dance Power farewell dinner. The food came out very slow, but was okay. The space was great. Child friendly, the markets across the road were pretty cool. Some pricing of items were priced.

Atmosphere was good,had roast and veges for dinner,veges were not cooked at all,very disappointed, won't go back again

Grilled barramundi was rotten, couldn’t finish it and when going to throw it up in the bathroom they had no bloody toilet paper. And you may ask, why did you eat so much if it tasted so bad? Well I didn’t, that’s literally 2/3rds of their barramundi in the picture. 0/10

I came for breakfast . Large serve of Halloumi cheese, 2 poached eggs, large serve of spinach & tomatoes on quality thick toast with a side of chilli jam. Amazing taste and a huge serve size. Best breakfast option right at the beach! Delicious coffee.

I bought raffle tickets at 4:15/4:30 to be told they would be drawn within 1/2 hour. Fast forward to 6pm and raffle was drawn!! If you’re going to sell raffle tickets how about telling your customers the time of the draw? I would also like to make mention of some older bloke (with an under the lip chin hair) who prounces around like he rules the place!! I had 1/2 a dozen friends turn up and we sat at the table in the middle of the club near the door only to be told by certain lip hair bloke that table was reserved after a certain time! As I watched the table was occupied by 4 blokes which I have seen since.Locals? Yes and hair lip was looking after them! I’ve been involved in Surf clubs for close to 50 years and never seen anything like hair lip ! He must be precious.

Beautiful views of the ocean ⛱️ the staff were very friendly and accommodated us even though the place was packed we only waited less than 10 minutes. We had the seafood medley and enjoyed it immensely.

My girlfriend and I were really wanting a good pub feed and this place blew us away. Great service, lovely and accomodating staff. Could not recommend enough

I wouldn’t bother going anywhere else for lunch in surfers. Best value with simple bistro food done well and the views aren’t too bad either. Highly recommend!
