Had a great night out with friends last night listening and dancing to Louie and the Party Boys.....great sound guys. Unfortunate that the 2 girls serving at the rear bar appeared not interested in providing good service ......I don't think hospitality is for you ladies. The front bar towards the band was great 👍......otherwise a great night. Thanks Echostate 😉

Awful security guards at this place.. they need to change out all of them.. no courtesy whatsoever.. just standing outside in groups looking around outside when should be more focused on what is happening inside the dancefloor and club, they serve zero purpose, might as well be not there.

Went there Saturday night. Prices are absolutely ridiculous. Charging 1.5 percent per card transaction plus 10% surcharge because once it turned 12:01am on the Sunday morning. And the staff behind the bar, the blonde haired girl in particular, absolutely fricken rude, not only to staff but customers as well. Not sure if I’d ever go back. Charging so much, you’d expect excellent customer service.

Music is great but prices of drinks r ridiculous!! Crown u should b ashamed....$18 for a glass of sparkling wine!! Disgusting. $16.50 for one cruiser!! As if u don't make enough money out of the pokies etc. My local pokies venue charges $6.50 for a sparkling wine and has live music as well Disgraceful, not a good advertisement for Melbourne.

What a band!! 'The Trip' are outstanding musicians!! They have voices like angels and rock to perfection! I haven't seen a band so amazing in a long time!! Great venue, fun atmosphere, good vibes!!

$18.20 for a glass of white wine are you kidding me??!!! When I came here before the fit-out it was $12. And any bar along southbank is still $12-15 at most. This is a dingy bar in crown not even nice. Used to be called groove bar then closed down to move things around for the sake of it? THE dumbest place to put the stage - the opposite of where it was so all the people are squeezed into a tight place. Who the hell gets to make these dumb decisions?!!

Awesome as always no need for the change of stage was better the old way...but that's life ...need to add more chairs and tables not enough for those that want to sit and enjoy entertainment..

If you enjoy live music, you'll love this place - the bands that feature here are amazing! They may start with a 2 piece band as the opening act but the main act would usually have at least a quartet playing throughout the night (e.g. 3 sets with breaks in between). There's some table and seats on the sides near the stage, and a terrace area (which smells like cigarettes) but it's mostly standing only. You have to leave venue to access toilets but it's just outside. Terrace area has some views of the hourly fires outside.

This place & gone down hill big time. Patrons in thongs, some patrons are that wasted yet still serving alcohol to them, NO RSOA at all. Since the RENO band sounds awful due to the sound bouncing off the walls. NO security on the dance floor area, someone was knocked out in a brawl. It’s absolutely disgusting for the crown.

Great Big Venue...Lots Of Space. Plus There's The Outdoor Terrace For Socialising And For The Smokers As Well. Saw Bedrock Live There On The Friday Night, Friends And I Went... Fantastic Band, Have Seen Lee Harding & The Bedrocks Before...Great Entertainment... Atmosphere Was Entertaining Also. lol. Mixed Age Groups, Which Is Always Good. Will Definitely Go Again😁

Absolutely disgusting female security guard kicked out my friend because he was a little wobbly on his feet. He has MS and they didn't care. Bloody DISCRIMINATION they should be ashamed of themselves.

Located in the Crown Casino Precinct, Groove bar is a place to socialise and enjoy the live music on a Friday and Saturday night. It is located on upper level at crown. This place also has a outdoor sitting area which is absolutely amazing. I have been to this place couple of times when I visit crown. For people who like to dance on DJ then this is a must visit for them. They have couple of beers on tap if you are keen to have one. Thank you Groove Live bar.

I played with my band there for a long time. Used to be amazing venue. Really terrible management who lack total accountability. I wouldn’t play there if you paid me $10,000 a night. Horrible place.

Good bar to have a dance to some.very decent cover bands. Lots of people there too on a Saturday night and was free entry. Drink prices were pretty high however but you are in crown I guess.

I wrote last time a huge speal on this place obvs the truth was not accepted.o One thing that's an improvement bar staff,this time they serve and actually notice people.2nd bar the blonde girl with pig tails was friendly and looked like a bar girl fun that's what's needed. Gets packed ..don't wear your best shoes n shirt in here ..drunk guys everywhere but happy😁...no entry fee ,great Bar .. but be prepared to wait.. Usually have very awesome bands playing there's lots of high energy... Loved the place and then go to the food court for have coffee and cake 😍
