I recently ordered a dryer from The Good Guys Robina, and the overall experience was deeply disappointing. After waiting two months for delivery, I was given a two-hour delivery window, but the dryer didn’t arrive on time, forcing me to call and follow up. What made matters worse was that I had paid $85 for premium delivery, which is supposed to include unpacking and proper placement of the dryer. However, the two delivery guys only provided a simple drop-off and did not fulfill the promised service. This experience has left me extremely dissatisfied, and I hope The Good Guys will take steps to improve both their delivery scheduling and service quality.

I purchased vacuum cleaning bags online using my PayPal account. I requested collection from Goods Guys Robina. When I tried to collect, I was informed that an email had to be sent to their head office prior to being able to collect my order. Further, I had to produce my PayPal confirmation email as well. When my online transaction was complete, I received a text from GG confirming receipt of my order and my order number. Although the purchase was locatable and ready for my collection, it still required all these additional steps before GG released goods. Online shopping is supposed to improve efficiency, not slow it down with all these additional protocols. I use my PayPal regularly, and this is the first time I’ve ever encountered this process. Staff were courteous, but still had to waste my time executing their additional protocols. Good Guys?

Terrible customer service and support. Bought in my vacuum cleaner that I have had a month and they both disagreed and made me feel uncomfortable with me trying to explain we have a problem with it not being able to use it at home properly. I felt like they didn’t listen and told me “well we can easily use it here - so it’s not a problem for us” and refuses to do anything. The old staff member then piped up and said “you will pay for the repairs if it is not us” which I was shocked at. Their customer service was awful and didn’t make me feel listened or understood. The vacuum wasn’t working for us at home. Not going back again.
I purchased Aircon through the Good Guys Robina, I was told installation would be handled by them and it would only take 2-3 weeks. Seems easy enough. After 2 months of numerous calls trying to arrange installation, I eventually gave up and asked for a full refund. The installers provided by The Good Guys are very unprofessional and difficult to deal with. The Good Guys team also showed very little interest in helping me, I assume that’s because they had already made the sale. Save yourself the headache and use a professional Aircon company!!

I recently bought a fridge, washing machine, microwave, and a kettle and Mario was an exceptional help on both days I visited the store. I was admittedly quite flustered, as we were moving from Melbourne to the Gold Coast in just three days while also trying to run a business. Mario was incredibly supportive and helpful throughout the process. He never made me feel silly for not knowing certain things about the products, and we even had a good laugh. I will definitely shop there again!

Today (Tuesday 23/07/2024) I had the pleasure of shopping, with my husband at The Good Guys, Robina Lifestyle Centre in Christine Avenue. We went in to LOOK at an Air Conditioner, we left having purchased two, not one! Why? Because Richarad was our Sales Consultant. Richard has been with The Good Guys for 17 years - his product knowledge is incredible. Richard was not about 'making the sale' he was about listening to the customer (how rare is that!), solving the problem and finding a solution to best suit our needs - how refreshing. This level of excellent customer service actually makes the sale. If you need any appliance, go to The Good Guys and ask specifically for RICHARD, you won't be disappointed. Went early Sunday morning, having issues with a induction cooktop, got a quote for repairs half the cost of a new one... a 10 year old appliance better to replace it. Mario in the kitchen area helped me, I kinda knew make and model that I wanted, but they don't keep in stock has to be ordered from Bosch. That's OK, I just want a better deal than RRP which I already knew. Well thank you Mario, once I saw the price on screen he had my money, we also organised a 5 year extended warranty just in case, hope I never need to use it. Now wait a couple of weeks for the cooktop to arrive and get an electrician to fit it. The Good Guys lived up to their name for me today!

Appalling service, we were told to make our purchase online, sales agent sent the information. Made our payment online, transaction approved, did not receive a receipt. Called Robina today to be told the transaction had been declined (it was not and has been cleared) called my bank, transaction approved and cleaned. Was told by the unhelpful rude receptionist on the 12.03.24 to call customer service, called customer service head office to be told “it’s an IT error, sorry your order has not been sent, we will follow up, please call back in two hours” called back in two hours to be told “sorry we can’t fix it, you money will be refunded in 3-5 business day” Raise a dispute with my back, made our washing machine purchase with Appliance online, $150 cheaper, free delivery, free setup! Don’t waste your time with The Good Guys Robina they are absolutely useless and rude, use Appliances Online, cheaper and much better service!
We purchased the IRobot Roomba Combo I5+ Robot Vacuum And Mop today with confidence and ease !! The male sales assistant by the name of Shea was absolutely wonderful, he was very knowledgeable and extremely helpful.
My mum bought a laptop to study on. The salesman lied to her saying that the Lenovo Chromebook was compatible for everything she needed to study. Not only is this thing about as functional as Joe Biden but it’s not even compatible for Microsoft Word (confirmed over the phone by Microsoft). The Good Guys told me I was lying and refused to exchange it for a different laptop, telling me that if I opened it, it was my problem. Don’t shop here. I never will again

Have spent thousands here, ordered a fridge which was told 1 week maybe a little longer. No one got back to me after a week so I rang and just got a call back with a very rude lady on the phone with no sympathy saying it will be sometime in January. I pre paid for the fridge and have organised sale in the current fridge. So from one week to 6-8 weeks. What a joke! Maybe don’t take peoples money if you are not confident on the turn around, and a bit of sympathy would be nice! Extremely Rude! I don’t think I will shop here anymore. Ps: if you look up my account you will see I buy every single electrical item from you guys!
Very disappointing customer service. I’ve spent thousands of dollars at this store buying my appliances and got the gold extended three year warranty. When I tried to return a faulty product today I was interrogated by the unhelpful and rude customer service lady. Guess Harvey Norman wants my business more.

Came in today and bought a new 75 inch TV off Stuart. The process was amazing and he made me feel so comfortable. After chatting for about 20 minutes, I found out he was the manager and asked if all the staff are as good as him as to which he replied they should be. I train them 😉 we both had a bit of a laugh. We have bought a few big ticket items through the Robina store (incl dishwasher and washing machine). Each time I call for advice, the service is exemplary. On two occasions (without me asking) the team members have not hesitated to transfer me to their manager, Stuart. On both occasions Stuart has gone above and beyond to ensure that the sale is complete and that we are satisfied . He is the very example of what true customer service is and this flows down through to his staff. I love that his team involve him in transactions and I’m sure his staff appreciate the support when they need it. I am THRILLED with their service! Congrats Stuart and team and thank you. Amazing experience at the Good Guys today, customer service from the manager Stuart was first class, he really went above and beyond to ensure me and my family were well looked after. In particular I need to shout out Tahitia out front and Nicole who helped us collect our goods from the back dock, both of whom also went well above what I would expect to make our experience special. I have never written a review before, however the AMAZING experience at the Good Guys Robina with Stu and the team has compelled me to. Top shelf!
Came in to organise some white goods for our new place and was helped by Sean. Sean was fantastic, friendly, incredibly knowledgeable and even though he was about to take his lunch break, he took his time helping us find the perfect fit and in no way made us feel rushed or pressured to make a decision. Just got a bad experience service with them even the manager lady there. I bought a microwave last few months still under warranty and it’s not working. Took back there they didn’t give me refund or new ones. I have to wait for it replaced. I have baby so need it for everything never want to go back there again

Good guys as a whole are liars. Salesperson pushed for oil heaters to be bought for children's room and claimed they don't get hot. Could cook an egg on them. When I rang up and asked why there salesman push this hard to sell things with false claims and my concerns about the heaters in my children's rooms was very quickly pushed aside by Penny at Robina by saying we didn't force your parents to buy them ". No but you people did convince my elderly parents that they were safe to be in babies and kids room. Not the first time there salesman have lied to try sell something more expensive."

Probably the most unpleasent customer experience we have ever had at a retail store. I ordered a small cheap kitchen appliance for my mum through click and collect and they sent her a text message when it was ready to pick up. When she went in the customer service section were so rude, aggressive and unhelpful and wouldn't let her pick it up unless she had an email from me allowing her to pick up. She had a text message on her phone to say it was for her and to pick it up. Mum is 84 and was quite distressed by the way she was treated. My printer was broken so i wrote out a letter to say she could pick it up, signed it and said they could ring me if needed to confirm as i was at work and mum went in a second time. Again she was treated rudely and still wouldn't let her pick it up and made no attempt to call me. They then said the only way she could pick it up was for them to refund me and then charge mum. I did not give permission for them to refund me and then demand mum pay herself. I was buying it for her. The way this situation was handled was appauling and we will never purchase from this business again. Some team member certainly need intense customer service training and education in compassion and problem solving.

I have been to this store numerous times and each time back I’m hoping they have changed their customer service but NO. just walked in today as it was on my way home so convenient and I was around the Air fryer section for 15 -20 mins with no sales help at all. The only person I saw whilst in the store was a Guy in a orange shirt wiping down some fridges for fingers marks or alike. Again! I walk out once again totally sorry I’d walked in. This is worse than Kmart customer service. How you get any sales is beyond me. How your business survives is beyond me. So I’m off to the company who actually has customer service and advise on a product. No more even thinking of going back no matter how convenient it is.
I needed to have my TV replaced, the staff, Sam and Richard made it so simple for me. Richard is very knowledgeable about the products he sells and was able to advise me on a fridge and robot vacuum cleaner. Thoroughly recommend shopping here.

How arrogant and unpleasant of the big guy apparently named Shay, to talk to a serious buying customer and walk away, whatever the heck he thinks of himself. Mate I know Good Guys pays you and you’re not the business owner but you need to get back to basics and learn to show respect towards your employer. Ungrateful of you to turn customers away for no apparent reason, disregarding the fact the your employer needs you to treat customers well and keep them happy by reasonable means. I bought the same product from a better service team member for a way lower price, at least he made his part of sales. Your loss not mine

Absolutely fabulous start to finish with our purchase of our gorgeous Fisher and Paykel fridge. The sales staff were super helpful and the delivery guy was prompt and very friendly.
Purchased the Fisher & Paykel Drawer dishwashers from the online store which then had the Robina store send the product to our house. The two installers they tried to organise were comfortable installing drawer dishwashers, wasted our time and we had to find our own licensed plumber to install the product. Spent loads of time on the phone while the store and head office kept redirecting my case.
If only there was a zero star option... The purchase of the vacuum cleaner was fine and the service was good. We spent additional money to upgrade a warranty and part of the incentive to spend the extra money was that you get a series of $20 vouchers to use at their store. So far so good! What they don't tell you is that they will do literally anything possible to make it difficult for you to actually redeem those vouchers so that they can simply you keep your money . You have 10 days to use the voucher before it expires. Australian consumer Law requires that store vouchers need to have a minimum expiry of 3 years, so I would love to know what kind of legal loophole they are exploiting in order to make this one of their conditions. I took the order confirmation email from their website into the store to collect the item that I had ordered with the voucher. I brought photo ID and a copy of the order confirmation email with the order number on it, as per the instructions sent out from the good Guys. The lady at the counter then tells me that she can only give me the item if I provide her with the PayPal transaction ID. I showed her the confirmation email which makes no mention of that being a requirement to complete the pickup process, so either she was just being a difficult, or The Good Guys has some kind of stupid internal process where they force this additional step without telling the customer in order to make it difficult for them to actually redeem the voucher. Why on earth would you require the PayPal transaction ID? When clearly in your system you can see that the item has been paid for already. If I had not chosen to do click and collect and had instead asked for home delivery, I'm sure that the delivery driver would not have brought the item to my doorstep and then ask me to present the PayPal transaction ID before giving me the item. All in all, the entire experience after purchasing the original item has been horrible, and the only way I would recommend shopping at The Good Guys is if you literally do not care at all about redeeming any of their stupid cash back offers because clearly they will do anything in there power to prevent you from redeeming those credits.
Waited an hour for a staff member to come back and see us about purchasing a portable air conditioner costing between $789 and $900. I don't blame the staff as they were clearly undermanned and maybe your company should put customer service before overall profit. Anyway Bunnings got the custom and helped me out within 5 minutes.

Still sitting at home waiting for our delivery of a fridge. It’s now 2 hours past their window of 4 hours for delivery and no messages or tracking updates!! Phone number for the delivery company is not even activated. We are meant to be else where now but stuck waiting for our fridge to arrive. What a joke. Completely frustrated.
Good Guys Robina we’re useless providing a refund or store credit. By consumer law - If a product or service you buy fails to meet a consumer guarantee, you have the right to ask for a repair, replacement or refund under the Australian Consumer Law. Very false advertising on behalf of Good Guys Robina. Will be complaining about their unethical abuse of exploiting consumers rights and false receipting. Their receipts do not list products that fail will be sent away indefinitely and maybe replaced or refunded. Misguiding issues when people purchase from Good Guys - they do not issue a credit for a faulty product. Consumers have rights to receive a refund for a product that no longer works .

Stu the manager is hands down the most helpful professional and yet down to earth guys ive ever dealt when buying whitegoods and electrical etc. Seriously got the best deal on my fridge that i ended up buying a washing machine and dryer !! All of the staff were genuinely friendly, didn't feel rushed or pushed into buying anything by a desperate salesperson like I've experience at other stores! Will def be back for new TV !! Cannot recommend the service highly enough

Posting on behalf of a housemate. Induction stove dead on arrival, The Not-so-Good Guys supplied zero support except for providing a phone number. 5 weeks later, still no functional stove or refund

Very bad experience The sale person made mistake and wrongly deliver my order to my old place when I am moving home and my new home address was clearly provided to them on the day. Delivery system in a mess, they only sent u the notify message around 8pm at night before the delivery day, when I found the mistake and calling them early morning, I’ve been treat in a very un professional way by the sale person R.M. Everyone make mistake, I told them if there is a misunderstanding, pls fix it, however the sale person just has no customer training at all, he is just taking and do not allowed me to say anything, just mention they never made mistake, it is all of my fault of being change mind????? If I hear anything similar as : “I apologize for the misunderstanding, I will try my best to help you and make it works. “ How easy to say that? No training at all. And during the entire week after purchase I did not receive any email or message, however after the very unprofessional phone call, I received 2 email with no sense to repeat that “customer change idea””hello??? Due to this bad experience, I have notified my company to delete the good guy from our 6 managed buildings referral list. The worst experience ever. The shop admin and reception were lovely, however, Evenly I have to cancel one order as I gave the sale person another week to sort out his attitude or make my deliver works however he is helpless or doesn’t want to help.
Very disappointed, customer service is certainly not a priority in this store. Treated poorly. Staff not interested in assisting after 4.30pm. Won’t be back!
