Really enjoyed Frenzy's at Southport Sharks today. We had Vegetarian Penne, which was very tasty, presented well and filling. It was a bonus that the Seniors $9.90 special was back for the month too. Thank you Frenzy's. We will be back!

We were not disappointed by Frenzy's Southport Sharks. The foyer is stunning featuring two large fish tanks. The all you can eat buffet was delicious. Food was constantly being refilled and fresh. Great selection and the kids eat free deal on Monday makes for incredible value. Thank you!

Not a lot of options food was bland would not come here again not worth what your paying whole family thinks the same also mold all over the roof not happy😡

Extremely disappointed. We booked a large table for 7pm. Although the buffet closes at 8.30pm, the choices were limited. No vegetarian or pepperoni pizza available. Seafood stir fry only had veggies in the serving bowl. The coconut chicken curry didn't even have a tablespoon left. Nothing was replenished. As for the dessert section, the selection was sparse. Yes, there was ice cream, jelly, a chocolate/fruit Christmassy hot cake and apple pie. However , in the chilled sections there were only six donuts, a total of 13 little squares of cake slices. It seems that unless you're an early diner, it's really over priced. Low quality and limited choice.

I was a first timer there and I was really impressed with their food buffet presentation and the numerous selections on offer. The staff and the people too were very courteous. Great spaces here and there to just chill, relax and enjoy with your family and mates 💯

Buffet dinner has very limited options. Food weren’t great either. It’s not worth it. Would rather suggest paying a bit more for Star Buffet instead.

Really nice spot. Buffet is the focal point. The food is ok. Plenty of options which is great but quantity over quality here. Kids eat free on Monday. Members are $40 non members $50

Great for a Sunday pub feed as kids eat free. Don’t forget to try the pizza as they’re 🔥 surprisingly great dessert selection and portions size is just right. There’s definitely something for everyone one with their Massive spread includes Cheese and charcuterie, roast pork and beef, Asian section, salad and pizza.

I am a member at the club, and this is the 3rd time dining here, and sadly, most likely last. The food is just poor quality and oily- we always leave feeling sick and unsatisfied. Better off spending the extra $$ to go to the star buffet instead

We were at Sharks Frenzy's for dinner last night. We'd booked over the phone last week for a table for 9 people under my partners name Ray and requested a table in the bay nearest to the buffet. ( May I add here the lady who took our phone booking was lovely ) We arrive on time, but During our meal a staff member came along and plonked a monitor on our table and with No introduction or explanation and asked how many did we book for and what name was the booking under, whats your last name, if we'd received a txt message and WHO took our phone call? The staff member made us feel as if we were making it up. We were all caught off guard. I had to ask what the problem was? Now the problem was, there was another booking under the name Ray but somehow you couldn't seem to find our booking in the system? Yes the staff member did offer to find us another table but why should we be moved? We were already seated and eating. We'd made a booking we'd requested that particular area and it was no fault of ours. This was the table we were given on entry. Why didn't you Offer to find the other group a new table. Luckily most our guests were almost done eating by this point. So we left the table early. I understand double bookings and mistakes happen but you standing Over Us with your Monitor on the end of our table drawing attention to our group was Humiliating to say the least. We did nothing wrong except choosing to come to your establishment. I really feel like this could of been handled better. Come on Sharks put better systems in place so this doesn't happen again. Ps.Thankyou to the other Ray, for coming over and making sure we were okay.

Hi, We had dinner for the first time tonight at your club - I booked a table at Frenzy’s - we booked à la carte - we haven’t dined with your club before so had to ask at the cafe how it worked - they directed us to the correct registers/tills to find our table and order - I ordered a O.G Angus beef burger and asked for add on’s - bacon and egg - she said it’s already in the burger so do you want double? I said no not if it’s already included - I thought it was strange as bacon, egg is not listed as included on menu - my husband ordered the twice cooked pork belly. I was really disappointment when I saw my burger had no bacon nor egg - my husbands pork dish was really small considering the price paid - there was nothing wrong with the quality of each dish Just portion size of the pork dish and incorrect information re the burger inclusions - not much point having add ons if you can’t have them or you are incorrectly advised they are already in the meal. Hope someone recieves this feedback as it was difficult to locate how to provide. Regards, Fiona

Great food at fair prices

Hands down the worst food I have ever tasted, rotten prawns, roasts you need a chainsaw to cut and stuff all selection. And to top it off a kids disco so loud that you can not have a conversation at your table. How this place stays open is beyond me. Don't waste your money

This was an amazing buffet with incredible choices of dinner and dessert however the staff seemed very rushed and were making mistakes like forgetting to give people cups. Still an amazing experience

Very disappointing went to the buffet tonight with the kids and family The food was dry old and tasteless The band started and they kicked all the kids off the dance floor Security guard and restaurant manager were rude. Our family won’t be returning! Disappointed

Had a wonderful Mothers Day experience today. Everything was perfect. The seafood was so fresh and tasty. Thank you Sharks for a memorable and lovely day.

Our usual place for lunch and used to love it. But not today. Ordered grilled barramundi. Firstly it 100% was basa or similar flaky fish. Definitely not bara. If you out of stock of bara its better just not to have that meal in the menu. I would choose something else. Potato was just warm and very overcooked and dry. I could even assume it was cooked yesterday not today.

Loved the huge buffet selection! Loved the live music! Loved the atmosphere! It feels like a family friendly version of the star casino! Free parking and has an enormous children's play area!

Love this place but today had the worst chicken schnitzel of my life. It was tough, dripping in oil and the chips were completely overcooked. Both my friends had the chicken schnitzel as well and both of them said the same thing. Definitely won’t be ordering that again! Had to order from the cafe as was still hungry due to inedible food ☹️

There is always plenty of great food to choose from and the staff are always friendly and willing to help. As with any popular location it can get a bit noisy at times!

Buffet closed too early. Would've like a fish main like battered fish option. Seafood and roast meat plus the thick chips should be kept permanently they were cooked nicely and tasted great. Found Staff were very quick and readily available. Nice atmosphere for all types.

Sunday breakfast was delish! No real issues. Yum fruit salad, great bacon. Some items are a bit cold and the coffee machine was yuck but they do have barista coffee at cafe. Price is mid range and worth it, would come again.

If it weren't for the service here I would be extremely disappointed. Sharon at th frenzy reception, you are AMAZING, WONDERFUL and KIND! The cleanliness is ALWAYS amazing here. The food was terrible. Very late. Entrees with mains and one not even ready until way after. The meat and gravy cold and then the whole plates just chucked in the microwave, salad and all! Ended up with wilted salad, dry, overcooked meat and a VERY late lunch. Thank you cleaners and Sharon. Disappointing food.

Nice place, but layout and plenty of room for guests with a wide view of the fields and surroundings making it ideal for a lunch stop.

I had dinner buffet it had Good variety Staff were amazing especially Mercia she went above and beyond to accommodate all tables. All their beef and chicken were halal Great comfort foods such as chips chicken nuggets for fussy little ones They also soft serve ice cream machines Salads pizza seafood sweet Rice & curry roasted vegetables Roasted beef Simply great value for open buffet at affordable price

Lots of varieties. Worth the money. Quality salmon and prawns were served. No negatives in the main course. Desert options are average in taste.

This is such an incredible buffet for such a reasonable price. Approx $37 for members & the selection, freshness & quality is fantastic. Plus free unlimited refills for soft drink. And kids eat free under 4. The best part is the SUPERVISED kids club. For a small fee of $5.50 per hour kids over 3 years old can be left unaccompanied by an adult and supervised by one of their own staff. And the kids had a ball! There are so many cool elements in the kids club. Rock climbing, Mini movie theatres, kitchen, play dough, drawing, basketball etc. It literally works out cheaper to go here then to McDonald’s and the food here is delish!!

Walk in and immediately told not to wear my hat whilst 10m away a guy is wearing a hat… but ok I get that there is a dress code. But if a place has a dress code then the food must be good. So I got the classic, something that all pub/hotels do that can be compared. A Schnitty. And well… between the bland chicken and the hard crunchy ham… it was not good at all. A 1/35. It’s bad when the chips are the best thing in the plate.

The buffet food was cold and wasn't nice. We paid $48.57 each for something that wasn't worth $10 each. Very disappointed 😢

Buffet was just so so..... Nothing special and overpriced for what is presented. Desserts were the highlight not the seafood.

Always a good place for coffee and a chat

Good place to get a decent hot meal. Breakfast starts at 7 a.m. weekdays. Carmody's excellent meals and cater for medium size groups (8-20 people).

Awesome atmosphere cheap buffet perfect for kids and visiting tourists and if you get a window seat you can watch people play football while you eat

My daughter was having a tantrum tonight, but I was saved by the manager who gave her a treat! Thank you 😊

Lovely Lunch

Had a ladies' night out. Table booked. Staff knew where to send us. Food came out promptly after ordering. Love the chicken carbonara. Out of 15 ladies, there were no complaints. Wasn't too noisy either being a Thursday night. Great night had by all.

Because we're non-members, don't expect us to return, the buffet and endless refills cost us $55 each. Sorry but $55 for peasants food is a joke. Crumbed honey chicken sounded good pity the chicken was as hard as a plank of ironbark. I'm guessing the chocolate syrup was woolies homebrand. If your determined to eat here, I highly recommend getting drunk first.
