Located at Sheraton Grand Mirage Resort, 71 Seaworld Drive, Main Beach, Queensland, Australia 🇦🇺. I have always loved coming to Terraces. The seafood 🍤 buffet is fantastic. Of course my favourite is the prawns and other seafood. The dessert section is decadent. Everything is so delicious 😋. The resort itself is so amazing, designed so beautifully and it’s wonderful to sit and enjoy our food while looking out over the pool and ocean beyond. The seafood is amazing and so fresh. I can’t fault it. The staff are impeccable, nothing is too much trouble and they are always on hand to take care of whatever requests you have. Any special requests are taken care of swiftly and with a smile. The staff take great pride in their job. I have been coming to Terraces since I was a teenager and used to come with my parents. We always enjoyed it, it was a special treat for us. Now I still come when I am visiting the Gold Coast. Seafood Buffet Prices (Saturday & Sunday) Adults - $85.00 (food only) Adults - $110 (free flowing mimosas and selected beers) Children (5-12 years) $42.50 (food only) Children (under 5 years) Complimentary I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Terraces Buffet. There is a A la carte menu also and I have eaten meals from that also. I have never been disappointed. I always look forward to returning. Thumbs up!!! 👍👍👍

We hadn't been to the Terraces buffet in years but took our mum as her Christmas present and my brother for his birthday. Unfortunately we were disappointed with how much the service and food has changed in quality. The roasts (pork and veal) were dry and hard to even cut. The chicken and waffles were the same - dry and lacking flavour. The staff seemed disinterested and a few occasions we were searching for cutlery and asking plates to be cleared. For $85 per head we hoped (and expected) more. We won't be returning.

日曜の夕飯にこのレストランを利用した。日曜はコースメニューのみと説明を受けた。$65コースを選択した。２名なので食事は$130を予想した。メインでシーフードタワーをオーダーした。とても2人で食べられる量ではなく、大量に残すことになってしまった。値段もなぜかシーフードタワーで$50加算されていた。残念ながら、量と金額について事前の説明はなかった。カニはとてもおいしかった。

My family visited the seafood buffet, and the selection of food was fresh and of excellent quality. The table service was attentive and friendly.

Seafood buffet was horrible. Not even edible. They need to rethink offering it, everything from prawns to oysters and crabs all dried up. The quantity was extremely low and the taste was horrible, even the rest the buffet with all the other dishes on offer were tasteless. It’s a shame we were looking forward to a good seafood buffet. $600 for 4 people down the drain.

They should note on Google that the buffet breakfast goes on lock down 30 minutes before the restaurant closes. Says 11 here and nothing on their buffet page on the hotel website. But the pool bar closes early too. I think a lack of tipping leads to a lack of desire to work. I thought maximizing revenue was usually the big goal. At least for my firm.

没去四年了，刚刚元旦晚去食自助晚餐，員工很多已换了新人，只有约三，四人是舊員工，餐厅環境仍是好的，員工服務亦很好，(當晚约六成客人，但元旦夜没有滿座，感觉经济真有些不好)食物方面和以前少了些，没有三文魚刺身，蚝細小，以前有2款選擇，现在只有一款，而且没有整理擺設，只一箱原来的放出来，感觉厨师没有用心。。，热湯以前有2款可選，但现在又只有一款可食用，唉，知道生意困难，客人不夠，食物安排上会有差别，以前常常到此酒店食自助餐，真的有感情，希望日后生意好些，食物安排多一些，客人便会多的，Terraces 努力，加油。

It's been years since I've been here but the seafood was fresh I had lots of oysters bugs but there's plenty of variety of other roast meats salads dishes and dessert bar if you want to upgrade to have a cocktail you can. The places very dated it does need an upgrade of some kind as it was the Sheridan Hotel but overall it's great value if you love seafood and I was treated to this by my friend 4A birthday.

We went for my son's pre birthday celebration and it was worth every penny. The buffet dinner was amazing and full of flavours. The staff was amazing and quick in clearing our table. The lady ( I think her name was Lina) at the front desk was so kind and she made the day so special for my son. The only recommendation from my side would be to include some Italian dishes like pizza or pasta. That would have made the spread a complete package. But overall it was the memorable night. Thanks to the 2 girls at the buffet desk. We will surely be coming back. Our doors were amazing for the pictures.

Was a wonderful night out and the seafood buffet was incredible, definitely worth the money and the little cakes on a plate with happy birthday written in chocolate & a candle was a nice touch for my birthday. Perfect end to the night thank you very much 😊

First time at the terraces with my hubby, what a fantastic venue!!! We had seafood buffet that was amazing! A lot of choices even if you do not like seafood there's plenty of other food. The service was excellent they make feel you comfortable and very welcome. Highly recommended.

Visited Sheraton with the family for dinner yesterday evening and regretted every moment off it. 30 mins after eating the oysters, I felt sick and was in the bathroom for 20 mins. The fresh Oysters were not fresh and a couple that had a vinegar taste. Also, The Kilpatrick oysters were so small, the bacon looked massive compared to the oyster. There was a minimal selection of seafood on offer. Made a complaint to the manager was told “we will see what we can do and told me to wait here”. waited 45 mins for a response and never returned. Received a phone call from the manager Tim the following day and apologised for the “inconvenience as he was busy attending another function” and was told they appreciate my feedback and they will keep it in mind for next time to ensure the food is fresh. In my opinion, Spend your hard earned money somewhere else. Will never return to that restaurant. Very poor experience.

The staff were so accommodating. And friendly. Food was delicious, lots of choice. We had a lovely spot where we were able to hear each other talk despite being quite a large group

Our first night up from Melbourne and was happy to eat in . Could not have been happier with The Terraces and the food (we had the entree and main choice) was absolutely better than expectations . My barramundi was beyond fresh and so tasty . Partners marinara was filled with tender just seafood in a really yummy tomato sauce . Great service too so very happy to give full Points . Fiona .

While staying at the Sheraton for a couple of days I ate breakfast twice at the buffet. I didn’t enjoy a lot about it. The Bircher was far too sweet, there were no scrambled eggs which is pretty much unheard of for a breakfast buffet of any kind and there wasn’t a big enough range of pastries/muffins for a hotel of this size. The views however are exemplary. There aren’t too many places that come to mind where you can overlook water from pretty much all angles while munching a croissant. The croissants by the way are the absolute highlight of the breakfast fare. Buttery, crumbly and hot out of the oven. Perfection. I wouldn’t mind trying their high tea as I had the chance to sample several of their desserts at other stages of the day and they were exceptional. I took several lemon tarts poolside with me and they were delightful. Even their chocolate coffee cake was so delicious I ate several, and I don’t even like coffee! But as far as breakfast goes be prepared to be wowed by the atmosphere only

We have been bringing my father here every year for many years and the quality of food is not up to standard for such a well known restaurant. We always have the seafood buffet which was a true disappointment. The range and quality of the seafood presented was so disappointing especially the tiny oysters. The selection of hot food was not really a selection mainly lamb and veal which was either oily or that tough you could not cut it .No tea or coffee offered with buffet. The chairs were dirty and uncomfortable also. The best part about the meal was the lovely girl who served us.Also disappointed after spending $400 in the restaurant we were still required to pay for parking.

We had a great meal here. The food was amazing and the staff were great. Our waiter James was Amazing and he surprised me with a dessert for my birthday.

We were celebrating our 15 year anniversary and the staff were extremely friendly and made our restaurant and celebration experience one for the memories. Thank you so much for our special dessert tray and for the succulent food and fine dining experience.

We have just finished a lunch with friends. We were really looking forward to the usual Sheraton top notch seafood buffet. However, it wasn't to be. What seafood that was offered was somewhat fresh. The sand crabs had been frozen and very disappointing. Not what it use to be. The level of seafood offered very basic.

We tried this restaurant last week as we had a great experience at the Imperial and thought we would get even better at Terraces but unfortunately meals were only pub standard at best with ordinary service to match. Greatly disappointed.

This place is our absolute favourite. We love the quality of the food and how experienced the staff are with gluten free options. The chefs are very approachable and willing to cater for gluten free needs. 10/10

Seafood Buffet was disappointed although there was plenty of prawns and oysters which were beautiful and fresh. Some of the produce like the salads and desserts were not as fresh as they should have been. I found the buffet was very unadventurous. The crab was lying there for a while. This place is absolutely stunning and it's always been one of my favorites but the toilets. I went to the toilet and there only three toilets out of 12 toilets in use but there was no notifications on the toilets that the doors wouldn't close or the toilets were in misuse and it was very annoying as a customer to have to open up 12 doors and check out toilets before using them.

It's one of the best buffet dining experiences I've had with a wide variety of fresh seafood (hot and cold) salads, condiments and desserts plus assorted teas and coffees. Definitely, value for money, and next time I'll bring the children. Lovely, reaxed atmosphere too. We'll be back!

We had the seafood buffet last night and it was delicious. The prawns were fresh as was all of the food. Plenty of choice and plentiful quantity. The oysters cooked and raw were small however fresh and tasty, eat a few more I say. We would return

Very utterly disappointed. Do not go there or even consider going here as I did with my family of 4 on easter what they call a seafood buffet , small portions , overly priced , appalling food quantity and quality . Does not deserve to be named in a prestige hotel like sheraton hotel. I responded to terraces restaurant completing a self survey sent to me after dining -and 1 month later after giving honest feedback it was pointless .No one contacted me back and they had the nerve to send just an email to get me to dine and book again?!! amazing. you can dine elsewhere with better food, professional looking staff and selections and much more my list can go on ..

Had a lovely nice, the food was nice and the ambience was peaceful. Our waitress Sky was fantastic and is an asset to your team.

Wow how disappointing was that to experience. We had the Buffet as part of a stay package and I wish we had avoided that as surely for a tired hotel claiming to be 5 star that's an embarrassment.....so many better options close by against the $220 for two price that this buffet failed to achieve....to be blunt I wish I'd uber eats KFC

We went to this restaurant while it had kids eat free offer. I must say the seafood is just ok with a limited options of prawns, crab legs and oyster. There are some hot seafoods as well. The various selections of dessert is surely more amazing than seafoods. Also I had expected more selections of hot dishes. The environment is wonderful with the view of outdoor pool. With Sheraton’s brand and the price I surely expected something better than this. The experience of having dinner here stimulated my desire of staying in the hotel someday in the future.

Went for buffet dinner wasn’t worth the money, oysters were tiny, over cooked and not much flavour. Some seafood was nice. Not much of a variety for everyone unless you love seafood. The service wasn’t that nice either which was disappointing

Had valentines there ,$149, food selection was very average for the price per head, staff were very pleasant but would never dine there again

After waiting 50 mins for our entree’s, my husband’s lamb came out raw and my pork was over cooked and my potatoes under cooked don’t even get me started on the sauces. Save yourself the money and go somewhere else.

You will not be disappointed, no matter what food you like. Seafood lovers especially, the beautiful small Tasmanian oysters are the best in Australia. Lovely views of water ponds with plants outside, quiet atmosphere, excellent service.

The seafood buffet was absolutely delicious and reasonably priced for the variety available. The only downside of our experience was our server, they came across as very judgemental and made us feel embarrassed about how much we were eating, given it’s a buffet I wouldn’t think anyone would care. All other staff were really lovely though and I would still recommend visiting.

Probably the worst seafood buffet I have been to in years, salty overcooked prawns, c grade oysters and tasteless crab.

Absolutely disgusting. How they can call it a seafood buffet is beyond me. If you like soggy watery prawns, tiny oysters, smoked salmon from a packet, and frozen fried seafood this is the place for you! No bugs, no different types of oysters, or other varieties of seafood. The salad bar had fruit flys flying in it. The floors were filthy and slippery and had to be cleaned at 12pm when the buffet opened as diners were walking around getting their lunch. Diners commented that it was a fall waiting to happen and told us to be careful getting our food. The plates and cutlery were dirty with caked on food. The cheese section consisted of blue cheese, Camembert, and cheddar it was abysmal. The hot food section had mediocre warm food sitting in it. The lamb that was carved was that raw, it was bleeding on the plate. We had to ask for drinks as a waiter never came to take our drink order. We came for a special occasion a birthday, which was noted on the booking yet we were placed in a terrible seat, and no mention of the birthday despite other diners getting special birthday dessert plates. We walked away literally feeling sick. The food was not fresh nor tasty, and definitely not worth the $99 per head. The young boy on the counter was disappointed we didn't leave a tip. Well heres a tip, shut down. You couldn't pay us to ever return. Go across the road to Peter's fish market, and try the fresh seafood there it leaves the Sheraton for dead!

Absolutely fabulous! My family and I have been coming here for years and years, it doesn’t disappoint and it is worth every single dollar. Food There is such a wide variety of food. I work in a similar industry and handle food for a living, and I can tell that everything is fresh, made with passion, and along with quality ingredients. As far as the food goes, I can say it all tastes absolutely fantastic and mouthwatering. Atmosphere The atmosphere is absolutely stunning with a jaw dropping view of the hotels bridges, fountains, pools of water and along with several gorgeous nature known to Queensland. The inside is just as nice, and the jazzy music ties it all together. Customer service The customer service is just as good, everyone is very polite and they always make sure you get the best experience possible. I also personally wanted to thank Joseph for his lovely service and his bright smile and mood! Thank you hotel Sheridan/Terraces for an amazing stay and experience I 100% will be back. Susannah x

Great buffet with good selection of seafood and desserts

So disappointed. We used to be regulars. Nothing like it was 12mths ago. The staff were lovely, esp Tim, but that’s where it ended. No sushi, no sashimi (although the wasabi was there to go with what??) nothing but prawns, oysters (only raw; I had 2 bad ones and have been unwell overnight. Too late once you realise you’ve swallowed a lump that’s coated in a sludge) and smoked salmon. That’s pretty much it for seafood. I would have never paid $100 had I known what was on offer and that I’d be sick all night. My sister, who was celebrating her birthday, didn’t get any bad oysters which was a relief.

It’s been a while since dining there but decided to return for Xmas Day Lunch which was booked a few months in advance. Seafood Buffet was excellent with a superb range of seafood. As always, second to none, fresh, plentiful and well presented. Hot foods excellent and deserts great. Price was on the higher side $300 p person (Xmas Day) and a glass of Sparkly whilst waiting for table. A reasonable wine list for the occasion (Lunch at other times $110 pp) A sophisticated, casual and elegant venue you can always rely on. In my opinion certainly worth a visit every now and again.

We’re locals and the last time we dined at Terrace was pre Covid and the food was much much better in terms of quality and variety, I understand the cost has gone up post Covid but what’s been offered today is definitely not worth $119 per head, no wonder this venue has lost so many local patrons compare to before. Other fine dining buffet restaurants on the Gold Coast offer way better quality and variety of food for the same price. Environment and service are still the top but food is very disappointing. No free parking even for restaurant customers which is a big minus too.

We had an incredible birthday lunch at Terraces today. What a stunning location!!!!! The cocktails took a little while to arrive, but were well worth the wait!! Margarita, Aperol Spritz and Berry Mule were delicious. And the service we received from our lovely waitress Itsumi was outstanding , she made the occasion so special for us. Her friendly yet professional nature and her great sense of humour was so refreshing and she was so knowledgeable about the wine list and helped us choose the perfect wine to accompany our lunch. The seafood buffet was divine! One of the best we have experienced, so plentiful and fresh and so many options. Thank you, we look forward to our next visit.

Went here for a birthday lunch and was disappointed at how slow the service was. Our drinks took forever to come out and no one was coming to check if we needed more, constantly had to call a waiter over. Food took a long time to come out for those of us who ordered off the menu, and the buffet had very limited choices. Mediocre food and experience for the price.

If you love prawns, this is the place for you.But oysters and crabs are not fresh enough .

Overall not too bad, the seafood was rich and fresh.

Selection of seafood and desserts at the buffet were exceptional! Best seafood buffet I have had on the Gold Coast. Would recommend to anyone who enjoys seafood and delicious desserts. My family enjoyed our experience for my boyfriend’s 25th and we will likely be back.

Amazing fresh seafood although limited on non super seafood Saturdays. We had pleasure being provided the best hospitality service have ever experienced. Truly went above and beyond. Amazing team member.

For a seafood buffet there really wasn't a great selection, oysters, weird salty prawns and smelly, mushy crab legs with barely any meat. Sushi" selection was grim. The other food was just random and all of it was bland. Huge waste of money. Paid $6 for table water."

Terraces was once the best seafood buffet on the coast offering a succulent selection of oysters, prawns, fish and crabs along with a selection of hot food and appetising salads, cold meats and cheese. To finish off you have a great selection of deserts and icecream. Not a lot has changed but the quality has certainly deteriorated. I did notice today how efficient the wait staff were.

Had this recommended to us as one of the best buffets on the GC. Definitely was lacking in options. The prawns were good, probably the only good thing about it. Disappointing for what we paid.

We were booked here a few days ago ,.. about an hour before our booked time we received a phone call and a message left on our phone that there would be no oysters because the supplier hadn’t any supplies… I wonder why we weren’t informed any earlier of this, because I’m sure the supplier didn’t let them know an hour before our arrival on a Sunday afternoon. We decided to still go ahead because we were already dressed and leaving the house and too late to book anywhere else, (very co-incidental), that was our first mistake. Upon arrival, the greeters aren’t unfriendly, but they’re not exactly friendly either, We had booked the seafood buffet for $99 / head and what a huge disappointment it is… I remember years ago it was good. imagine our surprise to see other patrons receiving plates of oysters right beside us ! .. seemingly kept for them because they were ordering a-la-carte… management seem to forget that we were also paying customers, if you didn’t have enough oysters supplied for availability at the buffet, then the least you could’ve done was give us a plate like you had the other people, what a joke ! .. there were prawns of course, the crab legs were tasteless and mushy soft, certainly couldn’t be cracked they were so soft, no meat inside of them, a few cold salad type items including tasteless, stodgy, cold calamari, there was a hot piece of snapper which was nice, about the only nice thing they have, and that was the extent of,.. “The Seafood Buffet”, ( I’ve read other reviews which apart from oysters, they also had bugs ) The buffet is drab and tired, I’ve stayed in resorts in the Dominican Republic that put this place to shame on the food / dessert selection. We were seated at a window facing the pools, and as I’ve noted in other reviews since, the windows are filthy with what looks like dried food splatter running down on them. (we even took photo’s) Another issue, they charge you for parking, for the privilege of spending more than $200 with them ! .. when we arrived I asked do we get our ticket stamped for free parking, no way, they also have to lower themselves by stinging you that little bit extra, ($2/hour), .. the carpark had what looked like a dozen occupied spots and about 300 vacant spots. Top Tip: buy a kilo of Crystal Bay prawns from Woolies for $25 and enjoy them at home and save yourself more than $180 .. Second mistake, we didn’t read reviews before going ,… so many nicer/better places on the coast, seriously, for $99/head they really need to lift their game,….we won’t be back… P.S. What an asset, lovely waitress Sally is ..

After a walk Around of this great resort we had lunch in Terraces Service from Rebecca and all staff was great. My no garlic allergies was cater for. Entree was smoked salmon. I had a huge flat rib eye with mash and greens My wife had a beautiful tasty grilled barramundi with heirloom tomato salad and sweet potato fries. We looked at the Buffett and it looked very nice. Thanks for looking after us .

Worst dining experience of my life …so far. Wrong food delivered to our table after lengthy wait. Water ordered for table - not delivered. My son’s medium steak served up almost rare. Sweet potato fries arrived when plain potato fries were ordered. For a $62 steak arriving on its own it’s pretty unimpressive. Re ordered steaks (mine was wrong too) only one returns - more lengthy waiting for the other steak - restaurant emptying out. I was looking forward to enjoying a fine dining experience and frankly a meal served up at Hogs Breath had better service and quality. In case you think this was a one off - I partook in the seafood buffet on another night and was disappointed but let it go. I couldn’t have been clearer when ordering - I’m not a serial whiner but if you want to have a star rating Sheraton Mirage - lift your game!

Had a wonderful experience for the seafood buffet the food quality was superb! It was all very delicate and delicious. The service was amazing also the lady was super attentive to our needs. Would highly recommend!
