Great little place, had a great little stay for 2 nights with the family. So much for the kids to do, the pricing though yikes ! 21 bucks for a bloody mary served in less then 8oz cup. Go there people! All self contained as woolworths is honestly 2min walk.

Rooms were very clean and comfortable. Great spot for the kids. The Deck restaurant served great food. Loved the coffee , and the pizza was sensational. The pool areas were tidy, Overall was a great stay.

Fabulous place for a holiday with kids. We had 3 rooms booked 1 on the ground floor and 2 above. The above rooms were beautiful, clean, spacious and everything you needed. The ground floor room was so convenient but really needs an update of furniture and bedding in the second room. The couch was really bad and the tv was very old. But saying this we had a great holiday and would certainly go back but hopefully the roadworks will be completed.

The unit was nice, clean and roomy. The cafe food was nice. I asked at reception if i could please get a new set of bed linin I was told that it would cost $25 to get a new set. I was not happy. The gentleman at reception said that the washing machine is dryer also. The dryer was useless it did not dry my load of washing. I tried several times. The TV only had free to air TV. I would have thought there would be movies even if you had buy them to watch them. I was disappointed. I will be returning in May for another week stay.

It has been 16 years between visits but the place still holds great memories for me. The unit was clean and had everything we needed. the pool areas were fantastic and well maintained. There was plenty of BBQ areas to cook dinner at. The putt putt; tennis , movie cinema were great. highly recommend people to stay at this accomodation

Great family holiday. Rooms are on the smaller size but have all the wanted amenities. On-site restaurant is good. Pools definitely needed a clean, green hot tubs are not the go. Second time visiting, and must say, the pools have had a great improvement. A family visit worthy of mention.

We stayed at Turtle beach resort for 10 days the appointment was not what was shown in the photos online. I booked a room with my grandchildren and an assistant dog as l have a disability. I asked a number of times for a ground floor apartment as l can not do stairs. I was constantly told that they will let house keeping know but there’s no guarantee, unless I paid an Extra $400 to secure a ground floor unit. when we arrived I had 15 stairs to my apartment .from the car park, The apartment was dirty cobwebs behind drawers back patio with artificial grass and no hose to wash down the urine I asked if there was real grass close by so I could take my dog out to, as l paid for a ground floor, there was none. The sofa’s were so dirty we put blankets to sit on, the apartment was extremely hot with one air-conditioner, especially if you had to dry towels. After complaining on the phone to the Manager l was told Would l have to speak to a different manager In the morning, which I did. I complained about the stairs the state of the room paying extra for toilet paper towels ect at ridiculous prices I asked time and time again before arriving for a separate bed for my carer and they did not oblige then wanted to charge me $450 for a fold out bed for 10 days. I was so shocked I threatened to put a discrimination report in, and that’s when they came to the party. In fear that I would put the report in to the Disability discrimination board. I then had the cleaners through to thoroughly clean the room. They quickly shampoo the sofa and put a sheet on it which I believe they did not even shampoo it properly because the sheet was dry I was refunded the extra money for the ground floor and they did not accommodate me with the ground floor room telling me they didn’t have any on the ground floor, lphotographed five on the way to the office. The pools were filthy around the top edges of the waterline. The Kids pools were dirty. The food was so extremely high priced. I could not believe. Bowl of chips was over over $20. I wish I had of known all this before I booked the Resort. I thought we were going to have a great time. I was very disappointed. The was outside our apartment early every morning with the blower annoying us all especially the carer who had to sleep in the lounge room near the balcony.when reading about the Resort I came to the very last paragraph in the small print that said this resort is not really suitable for people with disabilities as we have stair I feel that this should be advertised and explained while booking so people don’t have to go through what I went through the service was good sometimes and bad other times at the reception. The manager told me that they have different consortiums that owned the resort,, so they have different staff and could not be responsible for the way they treat people what a joke. I would not recommend this Resort It is so highly priced and you do not get what you pay for. Apart from the pools.other activities had to be paid for extra it was not advertised at the time of my booking that there is major work being done on the highway to get across was not easy, r an Uber. You had to go a kilometre up past the Resort Turn around to come back, which is another kilometre. I would rate this Resort a 2 out of 10 for the rooms a 2 out of 10 for service a 3 for the pools, as one was being repaired without notifying us. I do not recommend people stay here if they expect to have a nice holiday because you’ll be complaining every day regarding costs and also the cost of toilet paper ect. one of my neighbours said to me they saved all year for their holiday as I did and I totally regret it. I should have stayed in a nice big hotel in surfers Paradise where there was lots to do for the children and would have been Cleaner and serviced apartments with extra toilet paper and towels. All in all this place is well over priced and disappointing.

Wonderful location for families or couples. Close to the beach and transport to attractions

Beautiful resort everything you need on property, very family friendly and shops within walking.

Stayed here for 6 nights with my 5 y/o daughter and absolutely loved it! Our room was super clean and had literally everything we needed for our stay. Supermarket was 2 mins walk and beach was 4min walk away. She loved the kids club and staff were so friendly and professional from the second we arrived until our departure this morning. The facilities were amazing with a choice of pools and spas and waterslides. I wish I had booked a longer stay but we will definately be back!

My kids totally loved it . Would have given 5 stars only if I didn’t have cockroaches flying all day and night in our room apartment. Our room was on ground floor which was convenient to get to the pools or deck .

The best little getaway with the kids. The staff were so friendly and helpful with any questions, the pools were awesome and rooms were great. Highly recommend for a family getaway

Amazing front of house with beautiful facilities and pool area for kids.

Edit: I would like to add I did report uncleanliness to reception a few times. First time I was advised to vacuum myself. The next time house keeping was offered. However the chocking hazards were found. Lucky nothing bad happened. Worst family holiday resort. Unfortunately terrible experience. Rooms very unclean, toilet dirty, rubbish, bugs. Found 3 x chocking hazards on the floor for children. I don't think the rooms have been cleaned properly. The whole resort is stairs not good if you want your pram. Advertising on Wotif is false caused major issues with our room booking. Kids pool dirty. Unfortunately I don't recommend this hotel.

Amazing place, all you will need for a relaxing holiday or near to the theme parks and Surfers Paradise area

Good place for kids, but the rooms aren’t good. One aircon for the whole 2 bedroom apartment, broken shower screen, small couches and one smelled like wee. Unit 235. And not a pram friendly, so many stairs, and no lifts. So wouldn’t really recommend!

Great place for families especially kids. The pool & splash zone is just fun! They even have a pool for adults only! But the Superior 2 bedrooms definitely needs an update.

Everything was great, except the kids pool was dirty, don't think they cleaned while we were there for a whole week

After paying $2600 for a 7 night stay turtle beach resort wouldnt even give us toilet paper, instead charges $4 for two rolls at a time. Can’t even wipe your arse for $2600! Also, I called reception and asked for a fresh bed liner because my 6 year old daughter caught gastro and had an accident in bed and threw up so much we were desperate for a couple fresh towels as I was in trouble receptionist says ok will bring it to you shortly free of charge two hours goes by without hearing anything then go to reception to learn the receptionist has knocked off work nobody knew anything, nobody cared and then staff wanted to charge me for it after the initial person said they would bring it no problem. Do yourself a favour and go elsewhere to a real resort where toilet paper and towels are provided which you would think would be standard. Clearly not a real resort!

DO NOT HONOUR THEIR STAY7PAY5 . When speaking with customer service had 3 different responses to the same query.

This resort is very inconvenient for guests to collect their parcels because the reception does not allow delivery person to leave parcels at the reception. Its crazy its 2025 now, i can't believe

Long term road works on the highway make it a long walk to the beach. Beach towels are not provided and are $5 each. No restocking of anything in the rooms. No lift to rooms, only stairs. To exit the fire stairs you need to swipe your room key. Pools are very deep apart from the toddler pool you will not be able to touch the bottom. Bedrooms do not have air con only fans. Edited to add.... We still had a great time, and found the food onsite to be really good and reasonably priced (we had both a dinner and a breakfast there) and you get some vouchers to spend there too.

The facilities at the resort were great for the kids. The overall cleanliness over the room and entire resort was quite poor. Multiple times we needed to speak to reception in regards to these conditions. The floors in the rooms were very dirty upon arrival , we didn’t even put our baby on the ground who is crawling our entire stay here, The stairwells were very filthy and not cleaned regularly there was food in them the first day we arrived and on the fourth day staying the food was still there. The washing machine in our room had mould in it and a very strong odour so we were unable to use it. We were very disappointed in these conditions, multiple families at the resort also said the same thing. It was a bit annoying not having any lifts etc or being on the ground floor with a baby as we had to constantly carry the pram up and down the stairwells.

Is not worth twice the price of seaworld resort and that included tickets to sea world. Kids shower is a joke. It's like 4-5 feet off the ground so if you arnt 6 years old, pigmey or a midget it's a messy wet shower experncer where you gotta bend your back to wash your hair, to counter it you put the shower head up on low preass but no matter how careful or what you do the water hits your body, then bounces ricochets onto the floor, toilet paper and toilet. The back parks infested with mosquitoes. And when I got here people were having accidents on the front. No ac in 2 kids room either because what kids/ guests comfort don't matter. The drive in like i said is abit messy and too much going on areas to guve way to. The contlstruction out the front dosent help. The place isn't bad, reduce the prices, get rid of bugs, install the shower head above average human height. Install ac in every room. Kids are having fun in the pools and 1 thing they do right is kids seem to be in the pool as long as they want. That's a 10/10 move. Most parks say no pool after 5pm. I don't think they have a rule here wich is great for family's. The young receptionist spoke very fast but didn't even get a basic hi how ya going, where ya from enjoy. Even thow it's generic when there is no personality speed run robots running the show it takes away from your holiday experience.

Your very weird bald security guard telling us too keep my voice down at 10.39 while I'm only on my phone talking to my son, zero others on balconies raining,

Disappointed that food is not available. Shop has closed and pools have changed. Not as good for toddlers and not having food is a nuisance.

Staff were friendly and helpful. There are lots of things for children to do. Clean, tidy, and spacious apartments. Perfect for families!! Only approximately 15min drive from Surfers paradise.

We are here until the 12th of January and if we had any other option we would pack up and leave.our room is falling apart our dishwasher floods the kitchen our shower head is broken our washing machine is limited to 2 towels at a time and with a family of 5 that's hard.we have brought these issues up with them and they don't care it's our problem. We chose this resort due to the convenience of the restaurant on site but on arrival the restaurant was closing at 2pm each day.the restaurant is running on minimal options and the food is just not great.all in all we are so disappointed this is not the same happy place we stayed at 12 months ago and don't think we will be back for $7500 im sure there's better out there

I was not going to write a review, however since it took so long for a refund, I am going to as people need to be aware of this place. Firstly, the pictures of the slides etc do not match up to what is inside the resort. The pictures make it look like they are new and maintained, however in reality they are tired and most have lost their color. We arrived at Turtle beach on the 24th December 2024 for a 5 night stay. We were greeted with no issues and a $200 holding charge was taken. We drove down to our designated parking area which was next to a cement wall and very tiny to squeak into. Parked next to me was an SUV that parked right on the line. My car is only an ordinary sedan. I had to climb out the windows to get out. Next we were searching for the elevator, only to find out that we had to climb about 6 levels of steps as we had the highest level room. This was with 2 big suitcases! We were greeted by a tired, but clean room. There was no air conditioning in the rooms, only an inefficient split system in the lounge area. We found that things would fall off randomly on the shower door and some kitchen cupboards. However, for the price, you would not expect such a 70's looking environment. Next we ventured down to the pools area, boy were we in for a shock. They are dirty, and slimy (probably from the people in the pool) with loads of people everywhere. There with kids fighting with each other, adults fighting with other adults. It was just not a great environment. My kids were scared to be there as well as my wife. The cinema is a tiny room with a small projector, the sauna is about as big as a toilet stall and the toilet area has urine all over the floors. There is no staff in sight or cleaners. After witnessing the swearing and fighting, this place was not appropriate for us, we rang expedia who helped us out, however we had to go and explain why we wanted to leave to the site manager. They reluctantly co-operated with a refund after I advised of the horror. I asked them to agree to this in an email, and luckily I did as I had to fight with them for 4 days to get this refund. Overall, read the negative reviews, they are the correct ones. The ones giving 4-5 starts are people who are paid or find this type of environment wholesome. We went to the RACV - it was cheaper than this place and the best.

We booked this trip through a package deal at a travel agent, and he warned us it’s a bit “tired” at the resort. Looking at all the pictures online, I thought I don’t mind a bit of dated decor, because the place is in a great location and has awesome pools, plus free car parking. ||Unfortunately tired was an understatement for our unit, number 51. Everything apart from the kitchen just felt a bit “dirty”. The unit needed a good day and a half shut down and deep cleaned. There were random dirty marks throughout but particularly in our bathroom. The bedroom curtains, I could rant about for days. In what world do you put beds under a window and have the flimsiest piece of fabric (calling it that because it looked like a haphazardly sewed together sheet of thin cotton) that sits above the sill? Sleeping in, impossible. My 3 year olds room we ended up hanging blankets from the curtain rods so she could actually sleep. The curtains weren’t even attached properly! Lazy management in my opinion. ||Another thing that was warned about was that there are no lifts. So to take a pram and a small child through the carpark to your unit you have to scan in, push open a heavy fire door, and hold it open while you wrestle everything through because there’s no attachment point for the doors. I get it, they’re fire doors and securely locked, but surely a timed release could work? Trying to get my 3 year old through while carrying luggage and the pram we almost took her out when we didn’t realise how heavy and fast the door shut. ||No air con in our rooms, only the ensuite room, which sucked in the heat. ||Facilities were the best part - loved the activities available for kids. However, the mushroom pool which is the best one for littlies was under maintenance, due to be reopened halfway through our visit weather permitting. When I say I didn’t see a single tradesman there the whole time I’m not even joking, and we had sunny days for the first half, unfortunately delays due to the weather was the excuse we were given as to why it ended up being shut the entire time we were there. The main pool by the reception was fine, but would be good to have some warning of when the dips are because we were all caught off guard by a sudden dip in the floor. ||Staff were nice and location was great. Will be even better when the transport upgrade grade is finished. The resident birds are cute. ||Wouldn’t stay again, have told friends about our stay and how disappointing it was.

Pathetic staff and service of hotel. Food is also tasteless. They only know business in emergency situation so if you book this hotel so never expect help or favour from staff. Food is also tasteless so this is perfect place to spoil your vacation

Worst Hotel and their service, they only know business in emergency situation only No humanity

The resort is placed nearby cafes, restaurants and grocery stores. Walk only 10 min to get to the beautiful beach. We’ve booked it via Airbnb so not sure if room review is applicable. Apartment itself was quite dirty and old. Some things such as taps weren’t working well. Cockroaches. The outside is clean and well maintained. BBQ zones with cleaning equipment. Pools, kids playground, good cafe. Overall experience is great.

Great amenities and pool/ splash park. Gardens and trees are well maintained and the deck has friendly staff with fantastic food and drinks. Customer service and management from our experience was poor. A faulty shower screen fell on my son during a shower and injured him and tramuatised him. Reported to the staff at the front desk who then handed me an internal incident report form to fill out for them, I handed it in and nothing was heard. I'd recommend to others but won't be going back again due to our experience and the fact management is yet to contact us with regards to the handling of the injury to my son.

My family stayed here for a week in early December 2024. We have a 9-year-old girl and two boys 6 and 8 years old. First day there the air conditioner wasn't working. We notified staff at the front desk, they stated they would send maintenance the following day. It was so hot and humid and extremely uncomfortable. The contractor hired arrived at 6pm the following day. The contractor told us it needed replacing as it looked like it hadn't been maintained at all. The shower door kept jamming and falling off the rails as well in the main ensuite. We were moved to a new apartment. On arrival at the new apartment the door handle fell off the front door, not only that but the ensuite door handle too. The apartments are extremely outdated for the price of $3,687 we paid to stay there for 7 nights in a 3-bedroom town house. My family and I went to the front office on the days and times the mascot turtle was supposed to be there. Never not once did we see it. Saying we're disappointed is an understatement! Will not be returning or recommending this overpriced place"."

Spent 6 nights here with the kids. Perfect family holiday resort we all had the best time. Plenty for adults & kids to do & the deck cafe was very handy for the nights we didn’t feel like cooking or for having a few beverages whilst watching the kids on the slides. The room was spacious & clean. Definitely plan on returning.

Great service at check in.

These guys were great, I had to stay and extra night and they arranged for me to stay in the same room to save moving around even tho it was booked. I had surgery two days prior so I was extremely grateful.

The worst best place I've stayed. The room had missing curtains so it was a constant battle to avoid indecent exposure / exciting the local child 'enthusiasts'. The coffee machine smelled so bad we had to throw it like a nuclear potato on the opposing balcony while rushing outside to avoid vomiting from the stink, one of us still vomited. Reception blamed 'independent' something or rather, cool - I paid Turtle Beach Resort, not some mystery owner, $3,000. Kids loved the pools despite the angry lifeguard. Cafe was alright, we ate most of the food that was delivered. 1/10 if you want a resort, 7/10 if you have kids and want to pretend you can still experience a life of luxury. Wifi is so terrible they're better off not offering it.

Good place to bring the family -plenty to do.

Payed $3998 for a 6 night stay Christmas 2023 - 26 Dec to Jan 1st 2023. Located on Gold Coast Hwy. Parking is onsite, and reasonable. Building we stayed in no lifts, would be worth a call prior to booking to confirm access for mobility equipment etc. Our unit was clean and tidy though A/c was very loud. No Aircon in kids room only main bedroom and lounge so kids camped in lounge. There are several pools kids enjoyed and nice landscaping all around the resort, it gets very busy with families as is expected with a family oriented resort, grab a spot around the pool early. If your wanting a quieter spot then avoid units anywhere near the pools as its noisy most of the day. Food at the pool shop is average - there are many options not too far away. Woollies is very close walking distance. Nobby beach 700 meters or so away or about 10min easy walk, note however to get to Nobby beach you will have to cross a major arterial road Gold Coast Hwy. There are restaurants and coffee shops nearby with Mermaid Esplanade about 2k up the road which is a great spot. Just a quick buyer beware, remember to read the fine print this was the first place we stayed where there was NO room services, we got caught out, so if you run out of toilet paper mid week well then you have to buy that at the shop regardless of the premium @$4000 price tags they pump up every Christmas / New Years holiday season. Its really way overpriced for what it is. Despite the hype it is very dated. There are so many alternatives at that $ value. We gave it a go but will never go back, looking elsewhere next time. Can appreciate some folks would love it as that's where they have been going for many years and have many memories. Avoid peak time, off peak may be more worthwhile. Update -16/12/24 In response to the response from the owner - The Resort has had the same / similar issues being discussed over a very long time, as is evident within your feedback history. Could you advise what changes have been implement post your review process as this would help everyone. Thanks again.

Great place to take the family Rooms are great Pools and tennis courts are great But needs more parking for short term visit

We recently stayed here for a family getaway, it wasn't the best experience unfortunately. Location wise it's pretty good, your walking distance to good coffee, woolies and the beach but the roadworks are a bit of an inconvenience. Now down to the resort itself, the room was old and dated, the bathroom had a funky smell, the shower door came off the runners which they did come and fix up but to be fair it shouldn't happen. The bed was stained and overly uncomfortable to sleep in. They dont have lifts so you are expected to climb stairs with luggage. And the stairwells are dirty. Carpark is awkward to navigate and due to all the roadworks its a near death experience every time you try to leave. You get minimal dish liquid or wash powder so if your here for a week make sure you bring your own. They don't wash linen or change sheets unless your here 9 days or more so don't expect that either. It's also a noisy place and the curtains in the bedroom don't block out light completely so if your looking for a quiet peaceful getaway this isn't the place to go. The pools are great and there is a lot for people with young children to do so if you don't mind the noise and freedom for kids book yourself in. Unfortunately it wasn't what we were looking for or expecting. Won't stay again

Absolute tremendous stay while we were in between a house sale and a house purchase. Kids had a ball. Aaron from house keeping was an absolute legend in helping us around the place and knowledge when we were initially lost, he went above and beyond and actually spoke with us first coz we probably looked lost haha! Thankyou mate hope your bosses pass on some good words for you! All other staff have been of very similar standard and we are so happy with the level of service and professionalism we've been shown while here. Facilities are great. You can't go wrong by booking a stay here

I have been coming to this resort for 20 years. I still cannot find another one in the Gold Coast that caters to everything I need. It’s absolutely incredible and has served my entire family each and every time.

Our room was really nice. It was clean, beds were comfy. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you needed. The only negative would of been the chairs on the balcony needed replacing as you couldn't sit on them. Totally enjoyed our stay and would love to go back again.

Another absolutely wonderful stay. The kids love it, the splash zone and water slides are fantastic, kids club is wonderful! We also love the gym and sauna. Rooms are a little older but great to have seperate rooms for the kids and cooking facilities

Loved our stay here.

Great location and space rooms leads to great holiday experiences.

Unfortunately this stay was not great. For a total of a 12 day stay we got 6 rolls of toilet paper for 7 people supplied by the resort however we had to buy more multiple times due to the lack of room service(no room service up until after half way through our stay). For 2 small rolls of toilet paper at the front desk was $4 which we believed should have been supplied for maybe a lower price or even free considering we paid $4500 to stay here in a 2 bedroom flat. If you wanted to BORROW a towel you had to pay $5 as well as if you needed more washing powder or dish washing liquid it had to be paid for if you wanted more, this resort supplies very little to a room and the supplies they give hardly outlast a stay here. The food was very average considering its prices and could be better considering it’s the resorts only restaurant and prices. Pools were good however one pool was being repaired, giving no notice of this during our stay as well as the adults pool hot tub being freezing cold in need of repair after informing the reception multiple times. I could not speak much of the service as I saw hardly any staff around except for at the reception and restaurant on site, even at the reception the staff were still dismissive when we were standing waiting for 15 minutes at least, when there were 2 girls at the desk and only one was occupied. The garage space is tight and had barely any room for extra cars if you came for a holiday here with more than one car full of people, I believe this resort should accommodate for the family suites giving at least an extra car space as we had to park across the main road multiple times as there was no room for our 2 cars. The stay here was hardly exceptional considering its prices and many extras u had to keep buying if you wanted clean dishes and clothes. Its extremely upsetting for someone to pay so much to get so little and the general rating on this place does not do it justice, as things were not up to date such as the putt putt, and the unfortunate stains we had on our sheets when we received them after we finally got room service. Even when we had our room service no trash was taken and you almost couldn’t tell room service had been there. Please step it up because its not acceptable for anyone to stay here and have to receive this kind of service and not live up to its standards given in things such as pictures.

Did not enjoy our stay here ! No lifts. Struggled to cart all our luggage etc to our room up flights of stairs with 4 small grandchildren. Had to do multiple trips. This is not convenient at all & how does this help the elderly! Room was ok. Beds were hard. Asked for extra toilet paper, had to pay $4 for 2 rolls. Stuff that ! Went next door to Woollies & got a pack of 10 for $4.20 ! Restaraunt was ok, not much variety. Will never come back ! Treasure Island GC has won us over again ! Nobody can beat them.

Went as a family and all 3 apartments were far apart. Apartment could do with some maintenance and thoughtfulness eg. Adults could not support children on Waterslides & they charged for every single extra thing you asked for eg. A dishwashing sachet. Probably not somewhere I’d stay again

Disgusting hotel with terrible staff.||If you are looking for a lovely get away with your family, do not stay here.||I am not usually one to write a review but I feel as though people need to be aware of just how terrible this hotel is.||It’s nothing like the pictures and the room we stayed in was filthy. When we tried to speak to the staff about it to get new room we were blown off and essentially told that “that’s what you paid for, we aren’t a ‘luxury hotel’ ”||Manager was so rude and entitled.||She has made us regret even taking a vacation.||I wish I read the real reviews before booking.||My husband and I will not return.

Amazing long weekend away. 2 bedroom apartment, with 2 bathrooms (1 with shower, 1 with shower over bath), 2 toilets, full kitchen and even a washing machine and dryer. Well laid out design. Pay the extra for a ground floor at time of booking (call them and do it over the phone) as no lifts to service the other levels. Great service for any issues along the way. Several pools to choose from for kids (6+11) and even adult only pools. Great location, close to Woolies, cafes and restaurants and a cheap butcher (with clean bbqs at the resort to use!)

Disgusting hotel with terrible staff. If you are looking for a lovely get away with your family, do not stay here. I am not usually one to write a review but I feel as though people need to be aware of just how terrible this hotel is. It’s nothing like the pictures and the room we stayed in was filthy. When we tried to speak to the staff about it to get new room we were blown off and essentially told that “that’s what you paid for, we aren’t a ‘luxury hotel’ ” Manager was so rude and entitled. She has made us regret even taking a vacation. I wish I read the real reviews before booking. My husband and I will not return.

Great family friendly appartments with lots of pools and plenty to do, definitely worth staying here

Activities and ammenities really great for families with kids. However our room has obviously had no updates since it was built. Very outdated and items broken including missing shelves from the fridge. The couches were absolutely filthy. For the price we paid our room was below the standard we expected.

nice motel very family friendly, service is good and the location is good, its near the beach and a bit further away from town but not too far. Overall nice family friendly motel, with lots of fun things such as the kids club, the pools and the cafe.

Always a pleasure to go back. So many activities for the adults and children to enjoy. Close to everything you might need.

Great place for the kids

Turtle Beach is our Family’s firm favourite holiday destination. The Accor Vacation Club units are beautifully decorated and family friendly. It is a very relaxing place to visit, with so many gardens and greenery, giving much privacy to unit balconies. Theres so much for the family to do with 3 distinct pool area. Each area with multiple pools and spas. There’s also a waterpark- “Splash Zone” which is much loved with water slides for different ages and a water bucket. Mini Golf courses are dotted throughout the resort and is a favourite for all ages. The tennis court is also popular and well used for tennis, soccer and basketball games. There are picnic/ barbecue areas throughout the gardens for guests to use. There’s also a (paid) kids club. However it’s $30 per child for 3 hours stay and this is non negotiable to less hours. We felt that 3 hours was a bit long when on holidays and would have liked a 1 hour option. There’s also kids activities where parents stay. There’s also a gym, 2 saunas, a games room, a movie theatre and an Adult only pool. All in all a great family resort for family holidays. We will return AGAIN !

Great place for family fun

This was seriously the best family holiday we have been on and that was because of turtle beach resort. It was a great base. |It was so welcoming the staff were amazing which made it fantastic to come back to relax after a huge day while the kids played in the pools or splash zone. It was great to have a place for tea there so we had no need to leave. And that ment a true holiday for me with no cooking needed from me

Fabulous.

This place has been one problem after another! From booking us into a supposedly refurbished room with paint flaking off the fan onto the bed, kitchen cupboards falling off! We had walked up the 3 flights of stairs with bags to be greeting by this site for $3000 for 10 nights!!! We then walked all the way to reception it’s a hike to have to walk up another 3 stories to see another apartment which looked a little better at first! The phone didn’t work to contact reception or the cafe to order over priced food and drinks ( more expensive then the theme parks and no red meat on the small menu) the dryer had that much rust it was our clothes I cleaned it 4 times with stuff I had to go buy! A 10 day stay gets your room serviced but not till the 8th day!! Water slides close early even on weekends 5pm so if you are at theme parks you get no use of these. I wouldn’t normally do a review but we haven’t had a holiday in 5 years this is not a cheap place to stay so we felt very let down! Had I read more reviews I definitely wouldn’t have booked this place!

So disappointed by the state of the rooms! First family holiday in 5 years and what a letdown this place was! I must say most of the front desk staff were very apologetic and kind and tried to fix what they could! We paid nearly $3000 for a refurbished 2 bedroom apartment on checking into our room we had carried our bags up 3 stories of stairs to find kitchen cupboards falling apart crumbs and food on the kitchen bench the fans had paint peeling off them onto the bed, the room had a terrible smell and mould in the bathrooms, we made the trek to the office a young man gave us a chance to see another room up another 3 flights it was much better but still very outdated, the phone didn’t work the dryer had that much rust falling off it it stained our clothes I had to go and purchase something to clean it! The mould was also in these bathrooms the showers screens are super old and struggle to close! The cafe is as expensive as the theme parks so we spent our holiday cooking all our meals and was disappointed yet again that there was no red meat on the menu not even a steak burger! The water slide closes at 5pm so if you are out in the day by the time you get back you can’t use them anyway! A 10 day stay gets you very little essentials in your room no refill of coffee packets you only get 5 for the whole stay! We had to go purchase laundry stuff, toilet paper and dishwasher stuff you do get a service but not till the 8th day so it’s pointless and the coffee still wasn’t refilled! We will definitely not book to stay here again!

I went here and it is fun

A great family holiday

I’ve no idea how this is a 4.2 star place. The accommodation is very basic. The rooms smelt strongly of bleach for the first night or two. There’s signs saying deadbolt your door for security (and the door is very flimsy) but there’s no deadbolt and maintenance never brought one. The phone didn’t work at all but they did replace that. There’s no information book that we can find. It took us til day 4 to finally find where to dispose of the rubbish. Found a cockroach in the bathroom. Got given the most minimal amount of towels possible. A tiny bit of toilet paper, soap etc. Asked for more near the end of our stay and got charged $6 for two rolls of toilet paper and one sachet of Dishwash powder. Which is a laugh because we are right next to a supermarket, but we don’t quality for a free refill unless we are staying NINE days apparently. Food is alright price at the restaurant here but after $109 for dinner on day one we avoided it after that and just cooked. Internet incredibly slow. TV not a smart tv so don’t expect to watch anything other than what’s on live television. Everything just needs an upgrade. The only reason I would recommend this resort is for the location and the pools which the kids love. There seems to be a good range of kids activities too but we didn’t get around to trying any. Also, I got emailed a code for a substantial discount right after we left, and it looks like it spans over a long period; this was pretty annoying as it was in my opinion a really expensive place to stay. I suggest searching on their Facebook page etc for discount codes before you book.

At arrival when we got to our room, it had a horrible bleach smell (I have seen this on another review as well) and we thought, we’ve arrived early, we will air out the room and come back later... About 2-3 hours later, we came back and the room still smelt horrible.. it basically turned myself and my husband off by this stage (we have a baby and we needed to sort out our babies needs food, nap etc) but could not because of this bleach stench…My husband spoke with reception and we asked for a refund and will move on, management were understanding and I’d just like to thank them for being so considerate but unfortunately it really upset me and I didn’t want to continue my stay there after that experience… we obviously walked around the resort and it was really great for families..
