Great food … however spent $123 on food and about $100 on grog and had to pay $2 extra for Parmesan cheese to put on our marinara pasta (an extra apparently ) …

$28.00 for a Moreton Bay Bug roll ?? Someone forgot to add the Bug 😞 Let’s just call it a coleslaw baguette. But !! The Staff as always are brilliant and the views are the best in town !!!

Filthy bathrooms with all 3 rubbish bins overflowing with paper towels. Bathroom tap broken and a blocked sink overflowing with water. Tatty menus. Staff were pleasant enough. Came for a pizza as we researched menu online, but no pizza on offer. Filthy windows ruin the view. Echoey atmosphere. Overall disappointing and won't be back again. Couldn't wait to leave.

I booked a table of 5 and last minute changed to 10. Most restaurants would complain or say no. They went out of their way to accommodate us no matter what. Awesome new menu. Amazing bar staff and team… Surf clubs have gone down on the GC… this place has just started!!! Must go see!

Don't get the $28 steak sandwich - dissapointing. However, you will get a load of chips

Great views , friendly service , terrible food. We ordered the beef and southern fried chicken burgers. Beef patty was dry and burnt. Chicken was so small it barely touched sides and there was nothing southern about it. We were not expecting anything gourmet, but it was so much worse than any of the other surrounding surf clubs.

Needs a lot of acoustic help. Uncomfortable energy.

Very good menu for a SLSC. Simple, uncomplicated but great favours and choice compared to most clubs. Enjoyed it thoroughly. Staff were friendly and attentive. The club has great views north to south.

Hardly ate here any more coz the menu neva changed. Next minute ,,,,, tacos .. hello yes please . I’m eating here thee times a week . never more than 20min . See ya later 40min wait like it used to be ! Then boom, specials Board, seafood laksa . Had the Mignon twice this week . Bar staff , yep always changing but ….they are travelers ,service is always epic ! Thanks for the change guys !

Sorry, my previous writing disappeared. The 1 star rating is not unfair as per my opinion. I think it is too late to explain the whole situation as it was on the 26th and that day me and my partner concern was disregarded. And solution was not provided. Your client not just took the car park we waited for 10 minutes, they filmed my family, my kids without permission and another lady to who tried to help us. Then that 4 people had a lovely lunch in your restaurant with no issue. We only asked to stop serving them till they move their car, what is fair enough I think. I think this sums it up. The 1 star is for the way your colleague and the manager handled the situation seeing me upset and my partner. Nothing to do with the car park. On Christmas day I would expect kindness and other day too, they could ask why I am upset and I could explain what happened. Having a surgery recently and being with my 2 kids who experienced all this. Pretty sad. I doubt I will ever be your client, have a lovely day. Those people, even called me a lier that I had no surgery. I still feel upset. I cannot recall I had this treatment in any place. It is just unlucky I guess. Sometimes a kind word goes so far if you see people are upset. When they understand why, they might would handle it better. Even just to pretend you care others. Have a lovely day. Three of us old girls from Briso had a weekend down the Goldy and we were staying nearby, discovered this awesome little Surf Club and had the best day/night out. We want to thank Lachlan, Amber, Jules and all the rest of the fantastic staff that looked after us all day. We had so much fun betting on the horses, playing Keno and having a play on the pokies. Can't say enough about the Management and staff of this great Surf Club. Thanks again guys for putting up with us, keep up the great work and we hope to see you all again someday soon. First time here in December 2024 and really enjoyed the experience. It's one of the older style surf clubs but great views over the beach. Staff were friendly and helpful making for a great visit. The salmon was good with the rump steak just spectacular, melted in your mouth. Looking forward to visiting again, well done to all the surf club team.

I went to the Club today for lunch. It has been more than a year since I was last there, but I wanted to try the new menu. I wasnt disappointed. All made onsite and everything was so fresh at great prices. Brilliant for families. We had a 4 yr old with us. Wait time from ordering to table was very good. We had cheesy garlic bread to share at the table and I ordered the trio of fish tacos, but it was a hard choice with the pulled beef brisket option. Perfect serving size and wonderful flavour. The Staff were all happy and cheery, fast to clear and clean tables, and the service was wonderful. Having games to play at the table (eg Tik Tac Toe, memory, Uno) was a great idea. Well done everyone. I will be back again to try something else. My husband had the steak sandwich and thoroughly enjoyed it. I don't normally photograph my meals, but I had to share this with you.

The new fish of the day was Fab!! I'll be back every week.

Oh dear. Ordered beer battered flathead that tasted like it came out of frozen box. Pork belly bites were dry and the sauce they came with was sickly sweet. Chips and gravy was ok. I'm not sure what has happened but we have been coming here for years for the great views, amazing service and delicious food. Sadly, the new menu is underwhelming and with the many new and exciting restaurants in the local area, Nobbys will need to rethink where they are heading. Very disappointing.

I was looking forward to a nice steak, but unfortunately it was the worst I’ve ever had. I couldn’t eat it and left most of it on the plate. When the wait staff cleared the table, they didn’t ask if I was happy with the meal so I didn’t bother discussing it. DO NOT order the rump steak… you can barely cut it, let alone chew it. Spent $37 and left hungry.

Disappointing that we advised the wait staff and kitchen of a peanut allergy within the group and the meal still came out with full peanuts on top. I really expected better.

Had the grilled barramundi. Value for money and the food was delicious with fresh salad, crispy chips

Amazing. Just amazing. Very fast service, waiters go and check the tables regularly, food is perfect. Steak is perfect and tender medium rare. Salad with sauce is ideal. Oh, and they have good dark ale – Tooheys Old.

Great views and location. Would recommend the pork belly and camembert tapas, the prawn gyoza and chicken ones were okay but wouldn't get again. Quick service on a busy Saturday night especially since we had a large group as well.

Had some buffalo chicken wings wings today. Taste was good but for the price, ridiculous. $20 odd dollars (normally $18) PH today. I received 7 wings. So overpriced. Venue wise, I’m amazed the balcony is legal, so much rust on the joints.

A friendly club

Had a good bite to eat however it took a while to receive my food. A whole hour and a half of waiting, its all good though. At the end I was punched by a drunk but I think its all part of the experience!

Make sure you book in the peak of summer! The food is great and so is the view! Highly recommend

Awesome surf club with excellent views. There is a large menu that caters for GF and vegetarian well. My expectations for the food were exceeded! I got the vegetarian burger and it was generous and tasty, the halloumi is a great addition. The chips were also cooked excellently. It was very busy on a Thursday night and we waited a long time for food but we were warned about that. Overall a good place for a pub style meal!

Came to Nobbys for dinner and they never disappoint. The Surf and Turf is the best we’ve ever tasted and the King Henry lamb shank was incredibly tasty. The service was friendly and fast and the atmosphere is also cheery!

The meal was superb. The best hot chips I have ever had, and the chicken and flathead were cooked to perfection.

We came for lunch with family, had a really great time. Have to say the down to earth service was certainly a stand out. Food was all really good, great taste and really great value. Thanks team for the great day and lovely food!

Great food and service

A great place to eat and drink, and watch sports on the big screen after sunset. Membership at $5 per annum is a bargain, and with all the benefits provided (including 5-8% of all purchases as points to be used later) pays for itself very quickly. My favourite surf club on the Gold Coast.

Got a rump steak here on Sunday was the toughest steak I have ever had could not even cut it with the knife had to pull through my teeth to try and eat it but could not even eat all as to tough, the worst steak I have ever had in 50 years, being coming here for 23 years, not like it used be, some good staff and some rude staff that have no idea,. A few other times ive been there with friends, the said they will not be back as seems like you're not allowed to have fun here anymore as if you laugh to loud they try and kick you out after you have spent all that money on there food and drinks

Very disappointed with this surf club. They clearly can’t have functions and normal customers at the same time. Manager wasn’t helpful at all. Definitely not going back there any time soon.

I have no words! This place gave me so bad vibes. It really has potential but I heard the kitchen scream at the poor staff. I hope the managers take action and fire all of them!!!! Not only because of their work ethic, they also had REALLY BAD and EXPENSIVE food, that tasted like a newborn made it. Do not recommend!

Nice, relaxed venue with a superb view of the Gold Coast beaches and city. Friendly and adept staff. Recommend a lunch visit. We were fortunate to see a Whale breaching right out of the venues windows, while dining. Priceless...
