Staff were okay. Good location but the place wasn’t clean and access to the amenities didn’t match the compendium.

The place is definitely a lot older than the surrounding hotels but I didn’t mind the stay. The staff was great, booking was easy and the views from where we were staying was amazing. It’s a short walk to the beach, to Broadbeach shops and to pacific fair. The tram is a few 100m so it’s really ideal if you are looking for somewhere central

For what you pay for it, it's not worth the stay. Kitchen is poorly set up and not professionally arranged to reflect hospitality at all. Dusty as heck. Poorly cleaned. Peoples subscriptions are still logged into the wifi. Towels have had it. Pillows were gross. Oven not clean. Air con not serviced. Furniture is not being moved to clean. Poorly placed tv. The bench tops are the only good thing. Not enough cutlery. Old structure still there. No matching lamps making it look cheap. Bathroom floors overleak. Not renovated. Paint is not kept up. Electrical items not tag checked for sparking. Cracks in tiles. Furniture needs replacing. And interior design looked at. Marks all over the walls. Bed is warped badly. Nothing is cleaned.

My partner and I find, dr.g bags and needles packages behind the bed frame and ants everywhere, hair in the bathroom, disgusting smell and service. As we opened the door for the first time it was smelling really bad. We got the room next door and it was bad as the first one stuff under the bed. We wake up and there was this bag on the floor. She like oh this is the only room left if you don’t like it leave. We would like a REFUND! Police should be notified by this hotel it’s wrong. And there was nothing about the $200 bond

Everything was dirty except the linen. Dirty marks on walls and switches and on appliances. Dust and dirt visible on floor, walls, ceiling. Crumbs and dirt in couch and between cushions. No fly screen on bedroom windows on 14th floor and not very child friendly or child safe. Power points for kitchen on side of wall making it easily accessible for toddlers and children to pull on cords. Booked for 3 adults and 3 children was given 2 queen beds....

Great Service, great location, the only regret is that we didn't stay longer, close to everything you could need be it groceries or food. Definitely on the list to stay again.

For Moslem there's a mosque in the basement, they provide Jumah prayer also.

When I stayed there the aircon did not work at all, however, I noticed a rip on the curtain, informed them of it, however, they tried to make my pay $340 for no reason. Only when I went to the ombudsman they bothered refunding my $100 bond. Will never go again to a place which has a bond, felt so much anxiety during my whole stay, couldn’t enjoy it at all. Absolutely horrific. I have heard many stories about different places. People have stayed and I always thought people over exaggerated and all the places I’ve stayed in. I have never stayed in such a terrible terrible place. You’re still staff don’t communicate. Not a good morning. Good evening. Nothing when you’re lucky enough to see them they never left their face of the computer.

It has taken 10 days and we still dont have our security deposit back- given that the average bank transfer takes minutes, this seems like very bad service.

First room we were given, still had food the fridge, so obvious not cleaned well. Never looked at the rest of the unit. They did move us. But that room was not that great either.. I found a used band aid and bits of tobacco on the fridge.. not impressed.

Staff on reception were friendly and helpful however the rooms were diabolical . The washing machine was broken and the dryer kept cutting out and the ironing board was broken and kept collapsing . There was no soap and we were only given 2 sachets of shampoo and 2 small bottles of conditioner for 4 people staying 3 nights. We also ran out of toilet paper. There were no sponges, dish wipes or tea towels in the kitchen. And as far the bedroom configuration was concerned there were 4 single beds in 2 separate open areas which were 200mm apart It was military style bedding . Do yourself a favour and give this joint a miss if you looking for Accommodation at Broadbeach.

Disgusting room and service. Cigarette butts in the pool. Rooms are like being in a wardrobe and stink.

Resort is run down and a big disappointment. My booking was cancelled without asking me the day prior because apparently I hadn’t completed a credit card form back on the day I booked it - 6 months prior. When making the booking I gave my cc details over the phone which in the end was all they needed? When I rang to question the unrequested cancellation the staff attitude was terrible and unhelpful spending their time arguing with me rather than offering to reinstate the booking. I only rebooked out of necessity. Towels had stains on them. Bed didn’t even have a blanket only a sheet. Tiny couch looked like it hadn’t been cleaned ever. The lady checking us in did ring is however when our room became available an hour or so prior to checkin. Dogs live in the building. Would not stay there again.

The staff were lovely but I must say $300 a night was too pricey for what it was. Both blankets were very dirty, the soap was hard to use to wash your self with. Between the bed and under the bed was dirty and someone's shirt was left there from god knows how long ago. Apart from that it was nice and the location was good.

Great experience. The staff were friendly and very helpful, starting from the booking. I booked late and even though the hotel was full, they fit me in, initially 2 nights in 1 room and 2 nights in another, and called when there was a cancellation to confirm that I'd be happy in 1 room. I checked in super late (2am). I followed the instructions and they were waiting to check me in. Check in was quick and easy. The lobby is nice and airy and comfortable to wait in. The hotel I wouldn't call luxurious and the room and fittings are a little old, but nothing that a lick of paint and a some fitting upgrades wouldn't fix. However, as is often the case with older hotels, the room was spacious, with a large living area, kitchen space, a decent size balcony with chairs and a table and the most fantastic view. Everything I needed was in the room - comfortable large bed, plenty of pillows, comfortable 2 seater couch, decent size fridge and freezer, stove, microwave, plenty of utensils, a washing machine right outside the door, and a drying rack available on the balcony. Dryer was down in the car park if you needed it. There was great WiFi, and TV with Netflix and Chromecast available. Bathroom was great, spacious, good shower, over spa bath. The best thing of all was the beautiful large pool and spa. The pool area is lovely, the pool and spa are wonderful. It's close and easy walking distance to shops, restaurants and the beach. I thoroughly enjoyed my time in this hotel and I'm bringing my family here next time as it's also a great price.

Very okay experience. Rooms were tidy, but quite worn out. Balcony view looked over the city. Pretty, but no ocean views. A few blocks back from the beach. Recommend for a budget stay. Very quiet, barely saw anyone the entire stay, but the weather was miserable so I suppose it made sense.

Room was dirty. We had to make our own beds and there wasn't enough blankets in the room. Could he hear toilet contents from other rooms going down pipe work in main bedroom

I enjoyed a 3-night stay at the Broadbeach Savannah Resort. Easy after hours check-in. I stayed in a renovated shower studio, the apartment had everything I needed. Partial ocean view was a nice surprise. The resort has no eating options but it is only a short walk to restaurants etc. Pacific Fair is a 10 minute walk from the resort. The pool was climate controlled which kept the water warm during my spring stay. It would be nice if the resort supplied towels for the pools as most people would expect this whilst on a holiday. Overall a no frills, budget friendly self-contained resort with a lovely pool close to the beach, shops and restaurants.

What a dirty old dump. Frayed old carpet, old spa, dirty old kitchen, cracked, sagging leather sofa, crooked lamps. Everything in the place is old, tackey, and grimey. Not enough parking, drove around for ages trying to find parking in nearby streets. Looks nothing like the pictures on booking.com Never felt so disappointed with accommodation chosen😣 seriously if you're debating staying here...don't do it.

Decent room that is showing signs of wear. Helpful personnel who quickly replaced the shower nozzle that was spraying all over. Well kept pool, jacuzzi and sauna.

The worst experience ever with Savannah, I went around 11pm for checkin and the guy at reception said when did you book? I said today and he was keep asking what time and I said exact time that I booked around 7:30pm and he said straight away that I don’t have your booking. I gave the confirmation and my ID. He went and came back after 20 minutes wait. He said the only room we have available is 2nd floor. My booking was for on suite with spa but he offered the normal room. I asked any chance if ai cancel it he didn’t say anything and left. After 15 minutes wait I asked again he came and rudely said go cancel the way you booked!!! I called the number for reception and the lady simply ignored and said he is the night shift manager I can’t help you. I was there almost for 2hours and no one helped us. I left at 1am and booked crown plaza. I literally paid for two bookings for one night. It was my big mistake that I booked Savannah and I am not recommending anyone to book Savannah. It was nightmare, we were at the street in mid night. 😡😔😣

Extremely awful experience, we had booking arrived a bit late no direction of any late arrivals , after many calls the receptionist wake up and turn up with anger face he was the night manager black male person absolutely unacceptable behaviour no welcome, after I showed him my booking he simply ignored and left the reception when I asked for the top floor which was in our booking , I believe this hotel should be locked forever.

We booked a room for 4 adults with a promised configuration of 4 single beds but arrived to find 1 queen and 2 singles instead, which was disappointing. The room itself was in poor condition, with torn carpet creating tripping hazards and grubby, scuffed walls. Despite being for 4 people, the room had only 3 coffee mugs, 2 wine glasses, and 2 water glasses. The linen was clean, but overall, the experience fell short of expectations.

Great value for an overnight stay for a Drs appointment in the area the next day. Would definitely stay again. Longer would be great. Basic rooms but great value for the area and very clean. The pool are looked great too.

Me my mother and my son stayed one night got charged extra $35 for a stained mattress. Our feet were black from the dirt on the carpets and floors. Got abuse when we left by poor management.

AAA Stay

the apartment is in a great location , but little else positive to say , tiny shower bad water pressure , hotel was old un-inviting , smelt of smoke and felt unclean. No parking was available on site so our car was on the road in an area that felt unsafe . also only had one wine glass and missing knifes and forks .would not recommend

Joke of a hotel, complete waste of $300 Hot water was completely non functional, we waited all afternoon hoping it was just because other guests were using showers at the same time but it never came through, so we had to walk up the road to a functioning hotel and have a shower in our friends room. By the time we had waited around to do this, we were late for a long planned family event. Bedding was a joke, 1 thin fitted sheet and a small blanket in the cupboard, on a 10 degree night, no where near good enough. Whole room was also dirty. When I emailed to explain the issues I had, they made excuses for everything I had mentioned with not one apology or concern for the issues themselves, just excuses, zero apologies. But get ready for the incoming apology below this review that everyone can see like they have done to every other 1 star review of this hotel, telling them how much they are taking this review on board. Ridiculous Do not waste your money here. Should have read the reviews before I booked, my bad. I will be doing anything I can to make sure no one else is scammed by this ridiculous place.

On our recent journey from Tasmania to the Gold Coast, we had the pleasure of staying at the Sanvaaha resort. Upon our arrival, we were warmly welcomed by a courteous and friendly receptionist. Her demeanor was pleasant, cheerful, and genuinely hospitable. The room provided to us was in excellent condition, both clean and well-organized.

Overall had a great time.

You pay for what you get $148 a night, very basic, requires a full Reno. Entrance to room requires paint job or a dam good clean. Would not stay here more than one night. Good location to all restaurants and beach. Staff were friendly and parking was available.

King bed had handy power points & little tables each side - was 2 twins put together; OK, but centre split between them was noticeable & uncomfortable at times. Undergound secure car parking area was way too small, with a few areas strangely signed no parking yet probably could be ok for guest parking - but good if you are lucky to get a spot. Reception staff were friendly and helpful, the desk hours fairly limited (but shown clearly), security access tags into lifts, parking, building etc. seemed to work well. Our room & experience was better than many of the poor reviews, will certainly consider again in future if the pricing remains relatively cheap – glad to have stayed there.

Stayed here for 4 days it's Central to everything

Rooms are very tired but still extremely comfortable and functional. Just needs a little update, lick if paint and new carpet, and replenish the crockery and cutlery.

The room was a nice size but if you are putting little kids near a high rise balcony you need to have a way of locking doors so they can't open them or some kid of kid safe lock in place. The beds where the best we have sleeped in yet great beds. The spa bath did not work and we where told in booking it did. There was descusting stuff coming out of the pipes so we could not even bath the kids the vents in the bathroom looked like they had never seen a clean. The close dryer I was scard would catch on fire or something it made so much noise you would think it was running away. The washing machine was the same and I don't think the washing machine has ever been cleaned eather. The microwave was just as bad the turn table didn't hardly turn and was durty. The was rubbish under the beds and dust all around. There was even cocaroches that ran across the room. The air conditioner filters had not been clean so we went to us the air conditioner and got sick from it. Water also goes all over the balcony from the air conditioning unit. Also there should be proper parking for people even if you have to make more parks or something.

Im generously putting 1 star. But I wouldn’t even give it that. I am so disappointed. Here on a couple nights getaway with hubby from Sydney to the Gold Coast as Im ill with cancer and then to find out there is a $500 deposit and then to have to find that from family and friends to pay for it. Receptionist wanted to take my iPhone as the deposit. Then when I laughed at her she then wanted my wedding rings. Then to finally get into our room for the TV not to work and a couch suited for one person. Carpet stunk like piss the shower you had to dance around to get wet. The bed is hard as a rock. How disappointing. Certainly will not be back nor am I recommending it to anyone.

Worst place to stay out place smells they never do any maintainenace place is crawling with roaches and fleas the carpets are never clean and 20 years old they have diseases and give you rashes bathrooms have mould and are falling apart vents are never cleaned and full of mould the exhaust fans don't work. You car always gets parked in and you can never go anywhere ppl that rent take up 2/3 carports so there never a place to park and they never do anything about towing ya cars. The black haroed receptionist has a bad attitude and the cleaning staff look like trash and always stink. It's owned by indians that think they can do what ever they want and never do repairs. Rather stay in a backpacker hostel than this dump. Worst place in gold coast. Rang the council about the condition and seems they have a whole number of reports of the condition of the place. Would stay they for 50$ a night

Lazy management, disgusting room . Please do not stay here. Filthy and black mould in bathroom, couches and floors filthy. Room is a health hazard. Service is non existent. Walked and then checked out immediately. Raised complaints, staff are in denial. Please find somewhere else to stay 🙏

Savannah is one of my favourite in around the area, girls at the front desk are lovely and professional so is the rest of the staff and they definitely DELIVER a good customer service, makes it more homy. Some rooms are better than the others but most of them definitely doable and I find mine clean every time when I check in ✔️ big TY

1. The receptionist was unfriendly and impolite upon check in. 2. No parking. 3. Tired and worn reception area. Desperately needs updating. 4. Vending machines broken. 5. Room. We stayed in the two bedroom suite on the 14th floor. Every room had damage to the walls and floors. The carpet had large fraying holes in it. There was paint/wall paper peeling or damaged. Walls were marked and dirty. Every room had not been cleaned properly. The furniture and furnishings were musty, dirty, and dusty. Every surface was dirty. We dared not use the kitchen (except the kettle which we cleaned first) for cooking. We dared not use the spa bath and kept shoes on in the showers. We kept shoes on in the rooms as our feet were cleaner than the floors. The sheets were clean. The receptionist upon checking out was polite. I will never return and will not be recommending to others.

Rude night concierge who hung up on me, no late or ealy access to a team member, rooms needed a full makeover and paint and the fact that my team member's room had no lid to their toilet cistern was digusting, yes you did move my staff into a new room which was gratefully accepted, but when my team went to reception no one knew about it and it took them 15 minutes to convice someone that what they were saying was right, so overall a terrible experience. Who lets out a room with half the toilet missing anyways??? Gross.

Well.......our fault for not reading reviews on this place. I've never had to clean a room within the first 5 minutes of walking through the chipped, marked door. The walls were so filthy, I had to wipe down most of it so it didn't upset my wife's asthma, but if the walls didn't, the moldy aircon that barely worked was, and it was disgusting. The bathroom had what looked like make-up, Maybe blood, on the walls and door. The room stank of cigarettes and the evidence was the cigarette burns. Found 4, couch, carpet and the curtains had 2. Also there was a ironing mark burnt into the carpet next to my bed. Ahhhh the bed. 2 single mattress's pushed togethor, pretty uncomfortable to try and snuggle with your loved one. Reading everyone else's reviews about this place, I believe it all. Avoid.

No car parks. Was told when I checked out that I had to go back and wash dishes. They did not inform me of this before checking in and just told me later that they didn't have to prove they told me. Also only 2 of everything kitchen related including cutlery. 100% would not recommend.

I should have read the reviews before I went - that’s on me. But every wall was dirty. Every wall! Literally splatters on walls or dirt marks that looks like have been there for years. Ok it’s a budget place but there is a limit. Agree that reception isn’t friendly, that’s if they are around. There was no lock on the door. They have been getting these reviews for over a year and seems like nothing has happened - so they don’t care. And the $200 security deposit is a joke, whats it a security fee for? Everything is chipped or filthy. I should be asking you to pay a security fee that I won’t be robbed in the middle of the night.

I could not recommend this place to anyone unless I disliked them. There is no parking available so we have to walk our luggage and 4 kids through the rain and dark to even get to back the room. The room smelt weird which was probably because the carpets, couches and bedding had seen some stuff. They smelt musty and gross and one blanket I wouldn't have even given to an animal. There was stuff splattered up multiple, the toilet had clearly not been cleaned and the seat was broken, there was scum build-up everywhere. There was milk in the fridge but the door was left open so was curdled. The king bed was just 2 singles pushed together which was annoying especially as it was clearly expressed that one of the kids would be sleeping in there with us. We had kids in tears begging us to go home which we contemplated doing, needless to say, do not waste your time or money on this accommodation.

The staff was very helpful and polite. The room was much bigger than expected. The room/bathroom is a little bit tired, but the price, location and staff definitely make it a place I would return to.

Clean, spacious and quiet

Stayed in room 608 15th/16th of April. Despite the bad reviews I read, we found the direct opposite! Great price for a studio room with spa. It smelt wonderful, clean and had a full size fridge with a large telly with Netflix etc. It even had a stove and a washing machine just outside our door. They even supply washing powder! Yes the doors could have done with a paint but who cares for less than $140! Our balcony had a view of the pool and spa. So close to the beach, casino and Pacific Fair shopping mall. I was even greeted by a friendly man from Fiji upon checking in, who graciously allowed us to check in even though we were a bit early. Totally recommend!!

I’ve stayed in cleaner cheap bali hotels. The man & woman at the desk were almost comically rude when I arrived after booking online last minute due to a distressing event that required me to get accommodation for the night. The bed had only a sheet which was strange, the filthy cupboard had a brown blanket that smelt like had not been cleaned. The bathroom had hair in the shower & old soaps, proving it clearly hadn’t been cleaned properly. On a tiny positive - aircon worked well. Plenty of potential as the place is really nice outside! There is HUNDREDS of reviews on the poor cleanliness. Management are clearly not concerned in having proper cleaning done. It’s not hard to review the quality of your cleaning contractors.

Nice view, comfy bed & handy to shops & Restaurants

Room is in desperate need of a deep clean. Marks all over walls, dirty floors, old carpet, dust everywhere, bathroom dirty and stained.

BE WARNED ITS A BETTER INVESTMENT TO BURN YOUR MONEY THAN TO STAY HERE!!! The only thing this place has going for it is the location. We stayed for 3 nights… the Staff were rude, didn’t even smile. The room it’s self was filthy and disgusting!! Marks and stains on everything. Mould everywhere (from the showers to the glass balcony doors) dirty dishes in the cupboard in the kitchen. The Cupboard that stored blankets stinks of cat wee and so did the blankets in there. After what we copped asking for additional pillows as the 3 flat flimsy ones were not going to do 2 people, we didn’t bother asking for a clean blanket, we went and brought one! The carpet was so dirty and sticky along with glass in it, as my daughter cut her foot on the glass in the carpet so we had to wear shoes inside at all times. She also cut her fingers picking the glass out so we didn’t further hurt ourselves!! Claims to have free wifi except there is no wifi in room 603! Nothing but a scam!!! Had to purchase our own soap, shampoo and conditioner as my daughter and i have long hair and stayed 3 nights. Apparently we were only allowed one mine shampoo and conditioner! Cheap and nasty! Only positive is we did get a smile and a “good morning” from one lady, we were so shocked at her even acknowledging us let alone being polite that I had to go back in and ask her name and thank her for being nice. So to Michelle, the only pleasant staff member at this place. Thank you for saying good morning that was the only highlight of our stay at this place. Safe to say, we will return to the location but we will never return to this hotel!! I hope this is used as a warning to prevent anyone in the future from having such an unpleasant experience and wasting your money.

An older style resort, but right in the heart of Broadbeach. Yes, it could do with a renovation, but my room (which was a studio) was very comfortable, clean, and quite large. Also, had a spa bath. A nice pool and BBQ area.

Needs to be totally refurbished

Never recommending this place to anyone. Had many issues during the stay and the druggies staying in the hotel was unpleasant. The aircon vents were full of dust and dirt, the blankets in the cupboard smelt dirty. Called recepion to speak about this and they wanted nothing to do with it.
