The worst place ever for a night out.

Avoid this venue at all costs. Despite confirming our booking six months in advance for a major event with over 350 attendees, the owner abruptly canceled on us just two weeks before the event. This left us scrambling with no alternative venue and ultimately forced us to cancel, resulting in a loss of thousands of dollars. Completely unprofessional and unreliable.

Was meant to go there for a party but the party never happened because the promoters got stuffed around by management of this venue. The management took the deposit for the full venue, but breached the contract and double-booked. Booking this venue does not guarantee you will actually get it.

Very disappointed with how this establishment operates. Lack of communication and being greedy trying to double book companies in to leave them in a pickle at incredibly short notice. Bad move on hour behalf. Do not book any events here you will be let down.

Avoid this place, he does not honour contracts to hold pre-booked, deposit paid events. Plenty of other better venues where you can book your event and they won't cancel at the last minute!

My friend booked an event for 20+ people which we arrived to find it closed and they were ignoring messages leaving us on read and not answering the phone. Booking was confirmed multiple times and even received a confirmation the morning of. Disgraceful.

Absolutely beyond awful experience, my friend booked in for her 30th birthday - sent multiple confirmation messages all details were confirmed, received a message day of saying to text when we arrived to be let in, messaged, no reply tried calling multiple times from multiple phones, texted and messaged on Instagram to be left of read with no reply. 30th birthday has been ruined leaving a group of 20+ to find a new venue last minute.

great music and atmosphere

The guard on Friday 06/28 was too arrogant and aggressive. In fact, he threatened to push me down the stairs when I went to ask him something. According to him, he saw me drinking on the stairs, something that was false.

Security did NOT tell us about no entry anymore after a certain time and we got jacket and documents inside…so rude after paying 30$ we literally got kicked out without any explanation and reason…avoid this place or at least Casablanca owner change your security man’s without any rude guys unsatisfied of its life..I have worked in this industry and absolutely it’s not the way to treat a customer

Never going there again. Music bass was so loud that it affected sound quality. Line was long. There are other clubs nearby that are much nicer.

Said doors will open at 9pm but lied and said it will open at 10pm. Really pathetic considering they have a line out front and my ticket said 9pm. Asked to speak to a manager and said no one was available. I also called up and they verbally told me 9pm. Probs wouldn’t go back

It was hot and over crowded

No customer service experience in my opinion, can’t contact them easily and when you do they blatantly ignore you . Don’t waste your time or money here there are far better experiences on the Gold Coast

The small Asian security was throwing people out of the road to make room for the bar staff coming through the crowd. He was confident only with the protection of the other larger security. He was shoving people as hard as he could from behind on their blindside so they couldn’t see it coming. It was though he was trying to prove something to himself. Maybe he was just trying to ruin as many peoples night as possible. Of course you have to make way for staff carrying drinks but his way was malicious. You’ve got to fire him before he ruins your clubs reputation

Your Asian security guard was so rude to my friends didn’t let us in for no reason. Fire him immediately cannot believe this. Have been here multiple times yet was denied.

If you like watered down shots this club is the one for you

Do not go there. Security is rude and unreasonable. My friend is very anti drugs, yet was thrown out of the club forcefully and rudely, as her pupils are naturally enlarged - so security claimed she had taken drugs and evicted her claiming RSA due to accused drug taking, purely based on her enlarged pupils. She certainly was not presenting as intoxicated or drug affected in any way. She was not able to tell her party of friends what had happened, she just disappeared after a trip to the bar. So a young woman was left alone outside the club by security in a distressed state. She asked security to test her or anything - but they refused to be reasonable in any way. Do not go to this place! We had been before - but our group of 8 left and will never be returning.

A club is about the full customer experience. The staff at the door and inside are absolutely rude and careless making your experience unpleasant and uncomfortable. The security guards are rude and not welcoming at all. They make rude and offensive remarks and are extremely rude. We were a large group of business professionals from Melbourne and the rudeness of the staff at the door made us walk right out. Never again. If you are from Melbourne or Sydney you will be shocked at the service and the quality of staff.

Worst service ever was pushed down the stairs and told to F OFF by security because I said no to throwing my vape in the bin upon entry

Please upgrade your soft drink taps, my rum and coke tasted like rum and soda water. Thankyou. Good dance floor and music though my drinks let me down cheers big ears!

Nightclub stinks, overcharged and then assaulted by the security team for absolutely no reason. Would never go here again.

I attended this nightclub with 5 friends on Saturday. The bar staff and other workers were friendly and kind. My rating is reflective of the treatment from the security guards. My partner was ushered away from the cameras by 3 male security guards into a blind spot from the council cameras. My boyfriend was then physically assaulted by 3 male security guards and the evidence has been masked through the security team coincidently pushing him into a blind corner from cameras. My boyfriend did not touch a single security member however was punched repeatedly by these males for no reason. I myself am now in a sling after being restrained by the female security guard with an unnecessary means of EXCESSIVE force. My boyfriend has a black eye and blurred vision. Another friend was choked unconscious (in another blind spot from cameras) & 2 other friends were thrown to the concrete. This assault did not happen at the entry of Casablanca but unfortunately on the other side of the road in which we were followed. I would like to remind you that my review reflects on the security team. If anyone has any footage from this then please come forward as this needs to be escalated appropriately.

Female manager is unprofessional

I went with a friend to Casablanca when we arrived we were really excited to try it out but was over charged $70 for 2 people and when we walked in we’re constantly pushed it was very uncomfortable so we asked nicely if it’s okay to get a refund as we only just got into the club an I was ignored basically no one helped at all

Your glassy was one of the best glassies I've seen in a while. Dude was so polite while cleaning up tables. Also DJ Oli was playing all our favourite songs... love this place... will come back for sure

We went tonight to Casablanca and was completely no maintenance, the guard in entry they took photo of me and my license. it seem they storing my personal data. Moreover they don’t ask for consent or they didn’t inform as it’s a policy collecting person license or passport capturing for entry requirements. even I never saw like nightclubs collecting personal information capture through iPad. and when you walk in you can hardly move, the place smelled like vomiting and stinky even… all over place was like that….mainly It’s not legal to collect or capture photo cards, license, ID’s, passport or any government ID capturing. Was really looking forward to going here and having a good time but was very disappointed. Wouldn’t recommend this nightclub.

One of the worst, under experienced nightclubs on the goldcoast purely because the security staff & the owner being very rude to the customers. There seems to be a fair bit of complaints about the security staff on these reviews & for me personally they physically pushed me as I asked them for there security ID number. You think if the owner cared he would of got a new security company. Not to mention the owners past record… $400 k in debt from a Sydney restaurant isn’t a good name for yourself

Came here because of a promotion, $30 entry, and the whole club smells like vomit. Do yourself a favour and never come here ever!! I’ve been to clubs all over the world and this is top tier terrible!

Went last night and was completely overcharged, it’s $30 entry per person and when you walk in you can hardly move, the place smelled like vomit and the toilet seats were broken so you literally had to squat. Refunds not given even when you’re only in there for 5 minutes and when I tried to tell the ladies it wasn’t comfortable in there she just shrugged. Was really looking forward to going here and having a good time but was very disappointed. Wouldn’t recommend this nightclub.

Security guards are completely in over their heads. I had no serious run ins with them personally but I saw the way they treated other patrons. They act like the club is Berghain or something when it’s just another completely average club on the Gold Coast. I hadn’t signed in yet at the door because I was trying to show my vaccine certificate and when I was asked for it and quickly did it the security guard was like “aww you’re lucky man your lucky” as if I had just saved myself getting beaten up. Then when trying to leave the club they just stand in the door and ignore you when you try to get past. Not to mention a poor girl tripped on the dancefloor and was leapt upon and dragged out by the security guards before she could even get up. Saw countless other incidents throughout the night with security guards thinking they are guarding the gates of heaven, being rude and aggressive for no reason to one of the most orderly club crowds I’ve ever seen. I normally don’t care what security guards are doing but guys this isn’t Berlin or Ibiza, get over yourself. Bar staff were really lovely though so I’d say if the venue hired a different security company it’d probably be a great place.

The floors in this night club smell and it is always overpacked. There’s never any aircon. The womens toilets are always blocked or out of order by 11pm. At least when I was there a few weeks ago, the music was better.

Last night we went to casablanca night club and we were completely overcharged. my boyfriend and I payed 30 each for entry just to get in and hardly be able to move. It stunk like vomit and I had a panic attack as soon as we walked in. I’ve heard from others that this nightclub is usually great but this was the opposite. This club was clearly over their capacity limit i could hardly breathe inside. We also asked for a refund nicely after being inside the nightclub for no longer then a minute. It couldn’t be provided and this really affected my boyfriends birthday. I wouldn’t recommend this club maybe if it was a quiet night but this was the opposite of enjoyable.
