First of all my amazing partner Alec and I would like to say a massive THANK YOU to the most beautiful, kind, attentive, empathetic and hardworking young lady we’ve ever met named Yuli who made our experience at the amazing seafood/ buffet dinner at shoreline restaurant for Valentine’s Day beautiful/ memorable beyond comprehension! 💎 Yuli went above and beyond to make our dinner perfect along with everyone I noticed her attending too! She should be managing the restaurant she was that great at her job and being able to pull off miracles even whilst it was soo busy! Our table was set out to perfection and the food and atmosphere was 7 star quality! So fresh and tasty and the view and ambience was amazing! ✨🍾💎🥰 Thank you so much to the gorgeous Yuli for making our dinner the best night in our 13 lovely years together!! Arrived at 5:30. Shoulda known soo many kids n noise that died off by 7:00. Food was ok. Nothing startling for $99 a head but did include xxxx n Corona beer with white n red wine plus mocktails. Roast pork belly was delish along with Moreton bay bugs n gnocchi in tomato creamy sauce. Loved the lemon n lime tart too. We won’t be back as too noisy, being a resort for a kids holiday.

Seafood buffet was great, excellent service.

Breakfast is busy and noisy but the staff is lovely. Big shout out to Guilherme from the hot dishes area for being so caring with my family, especially my elderly parents. You made the breakfast experience delightful!

What happened to the bugs,oysters,mud crabs? Its off the menu? Main reason why we all go there

We booked a table of 25 close to 6mths in advance knowing this time of year is very busy. Not only did they not advise we would not be all sitting together, they spread us across 4 or 5 small round tables. She did try to make it better by telling they were all near each other……… She ended up moving us to three tables. Food was good service from front counter and wait staff was great. Will NOT be back.

Our family have been coming here for dinner over the past 20 years. Come here for a feed off seafood we’ll only seafood was prawns. There was no oyster, bugs or even Kilpatrick very very basic even the hot food no variety was terrible. Price is still the same as when this place was amazing to eat at the need to drop the price to this standed. We will never eat again here

Food was horrible, the barramundi and the curry were watered down, the gnocci was cold, the salads were gross, not worth the money, the tables are way to close together and couldn’t even get out my seat without knocking over the person behind me. The deserts tasted old and toppings for the ice cream were bad. The chicken nuggets were the best part. I came for my birthday because I was recommended this place by a friend but I was so upset. Worst birthday ever!!

Quite busy for breakfast buffet - even the day we stayed was not school holidays and week days. Food choices ok not luxurious. Pancake machine is fun. Limited milk (maybe too busy to refill). Good grilled area. Bit overpriced would say.

The buffet breakfast was fantastic! Lots of options and all very fresh & tasty. Quite busy but it's a big space so you can work around it. Worth the money, something for everyone... even the fussy toddler left with a full belly! Did I mention they have a warm Nutella topping pump dispenser?!

Very average food, no car parks, music way too loud, more like a kids club, nothing like the Facebook ads, not worth $69 a head, better food at the pub, can’t pay cash, need a phone to order drinks, no bar or table service, will never go back

We had the buffet breakfast on a weekday in an off peak season and it felt like chaos, I couldn’t imagine what it would be like in really busy times. It took roughly 15 mins to wait in line for a single pancake made by a machine. The tables are also so close to each other that it feels quite cramped and honestly it’s just a stressful vibe which isn’t a great way to start the day. It may be good for the early risers who go at 6:30am when it first opens but I’ve had better buffet breakfasts elsewhere.

Food was ok even though there were no tongs for allocated dishes. Staff ok but didn't listen to order when doing drinks. Sweets weren't labeled so I didn't know what I was having. I randomly rang restaurant whilst there on 2/8/24 and person I spoke to said they were a team member when I asked for manager. I found out from staff they were manager on duty which questions my thoughts on eating here. If staying at Sea World Resort I would go somewhere else if you like good service with honesty.

We haven’t been to the Shoreline restaurant for quite a few years and we were really surprised at the drop-in standard. The seafood buffet is nothing like it used to be, no oyster Kilpatrick, no oysters at all. The salad selection is very limited, without even the basics of tomato, cucumbers or a decent potato salad. The whole cooked salmon was dry although presented wonderfully. I definitely would never come back here for the seafood. However, the hot meats, as reported to me by my husband and sons, were delicious. The deserts were mediocre. The maître d’ at the front door was really lovely, but the rest of the staff spent more time chatting with each other instead of making sure the guest were well attended to. They definitely don’t have a passion for hospitality. For what we paid, being over $300 for six people, it definitely isn’t worth it.

Have been there 2 twice now. Great food service and value. Will go back again.

Do Not Waste of Money. Equivalent to a cheap buffet standard . Place was a mess . Service was Slow . Food was below average for a brand like seaworld . Disappointing . @seaworld resort .

Would give negative stars if the option was there. It was disappointing, waited a long time to go eat there only to find out they ran out of seafood by 7pm the rest of the food was crap. chicken so overcooked it bounced of the table. The salad bar looked like left overs from last week just chucked in bowls. The type of dishes changed every time one ran out and they wernt labeled couldve been seeving food from the exhibits for all we know. Veggies cooked that much baby food would have tasted better at that stage. The dog food i served my dogs that night looked more appetising then the meats served that night. Watched staff sit new customers at tables that already had customers, so watching people come back from the buffet to thier table to find new customers sitting there was not a good look for the overall management. Offered a refund as the manger had no idea what was being served nor that they had run out of seafood. Manger admitted it was not good at all only after he was taken to every staion to see for himself, took over a month for a refund after nermouse phone calls. Very dissapionting. Will not be back and will not recommend to anyone save your money and eat elsewhere.

We had the buffet on the morning of Sunday the 21st of April. Unfortunately by lunch time on the Sunday my partner and I were both in pain, vomiting and going to the toilet non stop. Please if you go here the service is amazing but the food really isn’t nice coming back out of you!! Be careful!

Sensational food selection, lovely garden & bay views, & excellent value for money. The photos tell the story! Atmosphere is a mild hellscape of frazzled young families doing their best to survive the Easter weekend 🐣

Went with a 'scoupon' ... Buffet very average... had a booking which Shoreline never had/received 🤔🤔🤔 food very average.. overpriced even with a scoupon.....

Food exceeded expectations. What a beautiful selection ( I would've loved to see the Pavlova), but otherwise, it was great value for money and very family friendly.

I had a chance to visit the Shoreline Restaurant a few days ago with my family and we absolutely enjoyed it! A great variery of food, many choices of protein and veggies, fresh salads. I had a pleasure to meet Chef Allan who was brilliant and helped me around by recommending a certain items to try and it was delicious! Also, live music fits in just right! Definitely we are coming back, as we are locals!

First time dining at the Shoreline. I found the quality of all the food to be fresh and full of flavour. The atmosphere was good with live music that wasn't so loud you couldn't talk to others at the table. I have dined at the Star and I would recommend the Shoreline out of the 2

Trip advisor says $42.00 dollars in september but in reality its $69.00 no crab f/A seafood to dear for the average person

The food was average, luckily we paid through Scoopon for the discount. I would never want to pay full price for such spread of the seafood buffet. The sashimi was served once and for all in that evening and they didn't replenish anymore and left it empty there for the rest of the night! Seafood buffet only contained raw oysters and prawns. Even though the prawns were fresh, that's all for seafood buffet. The baked coral trout was finished pretty quick and took quite long for the staff to bring out another piece. They cooked the bugs with gravy which only have the shells without the meat in them. Roast pork was good but big chunk and meaty if you are meat lover. steak was good and coffee was on the house which you can take many times! Worth going if the buffet is only $69!

Fantastic atmosphere with live music, service was great, food was delicious even though it was a small buffet menu. Overall for the price you pay it was what I expected.

We stayed at the Seaworld resort recently for a week. We really enjoyed the buffet dinner ! Pork belly was great, so was the eye fillet and the prawns 👍 We loved the entertainment from Sean ! We really appreciated him taking the time out after his gig to sit and have a chat with us..... On our last day, Sean wasn't playing 😢. Atmosphere wasn't the same and both our boys said we wish Sean was playing " 🤣 We will be coming back for sure 👍"

amazing for the price you pay. steak, pork belly and malaysian curry prawns top notch. we went on a Thursday as they closed on Wed and best decision we have ever made. face painting for kids,live music, huge desert selection with soft serve ice cream. definitey worth it

Waffles were hard couldn’t even get my knife through them, hot buffet food was tasteless and not much choice, pork sausages, bacon, beans, scrambled eggs. Could have eggs made up but the Que was pretty long. Could order barista coffee to the table again long waits. Basic budget food all round. Coffee machine had a full tray couldn’t use then when it was emptied the milk was out didn’t get topped up for a while, ending up having black coffee, at $32 per adult I would expect more choice and better tasting food.

A meal to remember. From the prawns , smoked salmon , curry dishes and desert bar . Everything was beautiful. Would love to come back again

The food is not worth the price. Bad experience.

The food (breakfast) was not great. The waffles were like cardboard and inedible. The bacon was just horrible. The pastries were good. Coffee was average I do not normally leave such negative reviews but Considering how much we paid to eat per person $32 and it was not ok 😕

The good: main foods such as steak and pork, salmon, rice and the couple of curries The bad: the seafood was disgusting, prawns were the worst I have ever seen. So old and discoloured I don’t know how you could look put them out to eat. Disappointing being less than 200 metres from the freshest prawns in the south east. Salads were terrible , not fresh by a long shot and barely any dressing. The dressing you could taste is hard to explain but not appetising at all. The only reason for 3 stars was good points I made. One of those restaurants you go too and say on the way home we won’t be going back there.

Good live music, good variety of food and the all you can eat part means you can try lots of different dishes. I like how rhe give you a small plate. It reduces wastage. Service is ok for the parts humans are involved, but drinks are only orderable via qr code. We ordered and paid for drinks only to be told they were sold out..... but I already paid.

Awesome Buffet Style Restaurant Located Within Sea World Resort Main Beach. Fabulous Range of Food Options Including Seafood, Asian, Carvery, Pasta, Salads & Desserts. Lots of Helpful Staff on Hand to Clear up Used Plates, Bowls etc. Great Live Music as Well.

The food here is outstanding for dinner. The rib eye, pork belly and sea food were the highlights. It is a buffet yet very well catered, professionally presented and still feels like fla lovely dining experience. Kids eat very cheaply and it's very accessible for them to help themselves too. The live music on Friday night was a really nice touch. I highly recommend choosing to eat here while staying at the resort. Though perhaps don't plan to eat buffet breakfast the same day!

The boiled bacon is to die for

Not a very pleasant evening, we went to shoreline for a birthday dinner and paid $49 per adult, wasn’t a particularly busy evening though the service was terrible. We had to ask for plates when getting food, bowls when getting desserts and cutlery was never available we had to ask for that too. The prawns were put out frozen and the other options were almost always empty meaning we had to also ask when more food was going to be available. The dessert options also ran out rather early. Our table was not cleared at all while we were there in fact we had to ask where to put the dirty dishes so we could enjoy a coffee after our meal, the staff never came back to clear the table. Despite not being full the tables were all crammed in and half of our table struggled to get out of their seats because we were so close to the table behind us. To top it off we ordered drinks and the beers came out room temperature! Would recommend you stay away from Shoreline, find another buffet we’re told QT is considerably nicer!

Staff were amazing but all of the food we tried was stone cold. While I don't think a bad live singer can ruin an experience, on the night we went the live singer was waaaay to loud. There was nowhere in the restaurant where we could hear eachother properly and it did not help that he was unfunny and not a great singer 😬

A great buffet. plenty of options for the kids

We had the buffet breakfast within our resort package and I wouldn’t recommend eating in this restaurant. There is no stand out comments to even make which is so unfortunate because SeaWorld resort itself is so amazing for kids. The pool area is worth it alone. The food was always cold and it was just flavourless, bacon was inedible, scrambled eggs were gross looking, the bread brought out was old and dry. The food looked old and soggy. The ice cream machine was basically frozen milk with no flavour and took about a year to come out of the machine. We thought paying extra and buying coffee was the go and it was hideous, it tasted like bad home brand pod machine.

So I had already heard some mix reviews about the buffet dinner here and was a little bit concerned about spending money on a all-you-can-eat buffet if it was not good, well OMG the food was amazing it wasn't just your standard buffet there was beautiful pork belly,rib-eye steak curries pastas praise,muscles and so much more, the selection of dessert was also amazing we actually went there twice in the week that we say it on the Gold Coast it was well worth it highly recommended.

Wouldn’t call it a seafood buffet. Only Prawns, mussels and salmon(all cold). However the food was nice with a large selection. Will disappoint if your going there for seafood

I took my family out for a seafood dinner to find prawns and muscles was the only seafood there was. I was very disappointed. It was not worth $49 per person because the rest of the food wasnt nice either. I will not be returning.

Used to go here a lot pre COVID. It used to be an elegant all you can eat seafood restaurant. It has changed to be more of a resort supporting restaurant, so much that the waitress who organised our table looked shocked that we were not staying at the resort. Which is not a bad thing I guess. There is a musician covering songs, a bit loud for dinner, but good songs and done well. There was also face painting for kids. There is minimal range. The main dishes were ok, salads were not so good, 2 bowls of just lettuce/rocket 🤣. I did not try the prawns or muscles. Great place to feed the whole family!! Not the best for just you & partner. Service was ok, QR code to order alcoholic drinks - bit pricey on the drinks. All in all, it was ok, but definitely not worth the cost (unless included in the resort package). There are better places to go on the Gold Coast for the same price.

Had an initial mix up re our booking, however Peter and his team went out of their way to sort this issue. Great food and good customer service. Have been there many times over the years, will certainly go back

The options for seafood were limited only prawns and mussels were available, they were both okay, the pork belly was probably the best thing there. I wanted to try the steak however it kept running out every time I would go up to the buffet. All other dishes were very average, no green vegetable options which i found odd and the salad was very limited, the bread rolls were not fresh and no option for butter. There seems to gaps between the food options. The desserts were also very average. The live music was so loud, I couldn't even hear the person next to me talking. The kids face painting needs to be moved away from the buffet, all the kids waiting in line just got in the way of people heading to the buffet. The staff also got our drink order wrong a couple times. We had 4 different waiters for our table, I think they need to have 1-2 waiters looking after specific tables.

if there was food at the buffet is was cold, prawns were still frozen when they put them out, no room to move between tables, you are just jammed in, we had to ask for the table to be cleared, terrible food, terrible service, terrible atmosphere, don't waste your money, not a great Birthday Dinner.

Excellent buffet for breakfast and dinner. Great food and great service. Good value for money. Awesome entertainment with great music by Sean. He was great with the kids and a great selection of songs.

What a great buffet! So many choices of seafood and meat. Pasta dishes as well as soup. Lots of delicious desserts to choose from. The service is simple and to the point. Go up and fill your plate and they will clear it for you after you then go up and refill a new dish. Alcoholic drinks are extra but coffee and soft drinks are included. 👍😎

Staff were friendly and helpful however the food and especially the dessert was lacking. Coffee and ice-cream machines were out of order. Buffet was being packed up at 7:30pm. Only 4 dessert options available. I expected more on a Friday night at $79pp.

Buffet dinner. You can't go wrong coming here. We came as a group of adults, but wish the kids were around to enjoy what was on offer. Even cips and nuggets for the picky eaters. Live musician was fantastic, great music. Staff kept up with cleaning. Free drinks were a surprise. Absolutely worth the price. Only dish that didn't work was the mudcrab with BBQ sauce.

We’ve dined the Buffet breakfast and dinner. The food is delicious and staff very attentive and friendly. The best music entertainment provided by Sean the Musician! The whole family were extremely impressed on our 7 day staycation.

Had the buffet breakfast. It was great. Had all the standards plus more. Eggs how you want, and many more options. Absolutely great value for money. $25 is great. Highly recommend.

Not a buffet at all, only kids can eat, not even a good variety of food for kids, fish was dry and smelt old. overall would not reccommend.
