Great location. Clean and friendly environment. Great pool area.

The resort grounds are well maintained but unit 46 is filthy! The balcony was covered in leaf litter, spider webs and mould. The carpet was greasy , the pots and cutlery needed to be washed before use. Plus the windows need a wash. When we reported it to the concierge on departure he wasn’t surprised and clearly didn’t care !

Location, location, location! Perfect! Close to transport, Pacific Fair, plenty of room options to choose from, pool and spa!

Unlike other reviewers on this site, our stay at Diamond Cove was fantastic. The 3 bedroom unit easily accommodated our family of 2 adults & 4 kids - we even had my elderly parents stay a couple of nights with us. We found the unit spacious enough. The only drawbacks were ceiling fans that were either on full bore or barely moving, only one air con in the unit and inadequate clothes shelving in kids rooms (plenty of hang space though). The whole family LOVED the resort pool area. Huge pool, perfect temp, spa, waterfalls. BBQ and tables poolside were great for entertaining and evening meals. Brad the Manager was friendly and prompt to respond to any queries or issues we experienced. The price was excellent too. A 10min walk and you were on the sand at lifesaver patrolled Mermaid Beach. 15min walk along the highway you were at Pacific Fair. Mermaid Beach Tavern, Sizzler and other restaurants 2min walk away. We loved our stay and would recommend Diamond Cove without hesitation.

Great place for the weekend may not be brand new and you could see that the unit we stayed in could do with a little bit of work but it was comfortable and clean. The pool area was great. My grandson had a great time. I will consider staying there again.

Good place to stay for family on vacation.

This is a great resort to stay at. It has only 3 levels. There is a pool as well as a spa it also has bbq facilities for the family or anyone that wants to use it. This resort is very quiet but with easy access to the main road if you are driving or public transport. It is a block away from the beach.

Extremely clean, well equipped apartments including kitchen with pots, pans, cups, plates etc. Service was friendly, although did not receive the mid week clean as expected. Stay was for 9 nights. Close to everything you would need and want, without the noise of the GC. Very good for families, pool has a 'beach area', bbq on the side and good outdoor furniture with shade. Only issue to fault if being picky is that the digital foxtel is glitchy so the 6yr old could not watch whilst trying to prepare food. Not really the fault of the resort, but it also meant we were limited to free to air only after the kids went to bed.

Really good value for location without being a budget roach motel so like good mid range We stayed in a serviced apartment and it was huge and private with full appliances. Has heaps of knives and chopping boards and like everything you could need to cook a full meal. Be sparing with your use of towels if you don’t intend on washing them Weirdly uses keys instead of keycards for everything but it’s fine just don’t lose it

Very much in need of an overhaul. Shabby and VERY expensive, probably due to the Commonwealth games. I would rate this place a 3 star at most but had to pay 5 star price even though we booked 12 months in advance. We paid $450 per night for one bedroom and one bathroom - never again! Layout of unit was weird and there were mirrors everywhere (what were they covering up?) Not enough toilet paper provided, no tissues (were we supposed to buy our own?). Vertical blinds were all over the place and kitchen very small (bin was in the middle of the kitchen). TV in bedroom could not be watched as it faced the bathroom.

We booked for 2 nights and couldn’t stay any longer than 1 night. If it wasn’t so late when we checked in we would have checked out straight away. This place was so dirty and disgusting, I have never stayed in accommodation like this. This has a 3 Star rating, never the less it should still be cleaned. There was black mould in the bathroom, cockroaches crawling out of the drains, toilets were leaking, sand all over the furniture, ants crawling all over the kitchen bench, an inch thick of dust everywhere, curtains looked like someone had wiped their dirty hands all over them, the air conditioners didn’t work properly, looked like they were a hundred years old, and so very hot and the list goes on. I would not recommend this place to anyone. We paid $290 for a night and totally disgusted. The management were very rude and didn’t care what we thought.

Pool is good

We stopped in for one night stay could have stayed longer - the 2 bedroom apartment was great felt like home have ensuite and main bathroom, 2 bedrooms, air conditioning, balcony, everything you needed in the kitchen pots, pan, cutlery, plates and bowls, baking dishes. rice machines, ect. ||Beds were comfortable and showers where great water was hot and pressure was excellent. ||The pool has a spa also clean and tidy pool area with BBQ'S. ||Underground parking for the unit we stayed in. ||Close to the beach, shops.||Also free wifi

Unfortunately our apartment was not up to what our internet booking lead us to believe. The apartment was in dire need of an upgrade, carpets stained, doors to decks impossible to open. The kitchen was terrible - crockery and utensils need to be thrown out, bench with holes. Bathrooms very basic. Don't think the cleaners had been here after the last people stayed.||Shame on the Managers - it's your job to keep apartments up to a good standard. Bad reviews turn prospective customers away - have you not learnt this yet?

Very shabby apartment for the price. Needed a good paint and clean. Furniture in poor condition. The rear garden was completely neglected and a mess. The pool is quite a pleasant area. There are far better apartments available for the price.

This place was dreadful. The unit needed a HUGE clean. The carpets were absolutely filthy and the dust was so bad. My son has not had any problems with his Asthma for a very long time but after staying there was off school for three days as he didn't recover from being in such a dusty environment. The bed linen was appalling. One light blanket per bed which we found in the cupboard was not enough for Winter and I'm not sure the last time they were washed. The quilt cover" was literally a single piece of material! The pool area is advertised to close at 9:30 yet at 10:30pm there were still people down there making a lot of noise. We were unable to use the tv at all during our stay as the remote was broken and the tv was unable to be turned on without it. I contacted a staff member during our stay and didn't receive a response. I emailed afterwards and once again did not receive a response. They did not provide what I paid for. Do not waste your money."

We had stayed here twice before. in 2008 and 2009. This stay was really disappointing, the presentation of the place is run down, poor cleaning of the apartment on us arriving. Bits falling off cabinets, bathroom a disgrace and dirty. It needs a damn good shake up guys. Sorry for bad press but I feel you need to know!
