This is one of the best clubs we have been to. Jamie the manager runs this place very well! The footy club, the restaurant, all the extra events for children and adults is truely amazing! The family fun days, halloween events, Easter events it’s always family friendly and a great atmosphere! Our boys love their footy club so much, we even had our eldest sons birthday party there which was a success with good food, jumping castle and slushies!

It's a great venue for a meal Friendly with good food and staff.

Ebony was amazing helping us to organise 55 adults/kids for a Prep class get together. She ran a super tight ship and the amazing kitchen and staff had all 55 meals out within 30 minutes flat to a delicious standard. Nothing was too much to ask including switching the lights on so the kids could get muddy. The musician tonight was brilliant as was the gentleman running the raffles. Would recommend particularly as a family friendly venue.

Went to Alleygaters last night with my mate Terry. We caught the courtesy bus there and home ( a bit late picking us up...but we didn't care). Had a great well priced meal, watched the footy on the big screen TVs, and had a few nice beers. Great atmosphere and friendly staff. Cheers, Mick McLeay

great food shout out to chefs but can’t say the same about the staff i attended my family friends 18th birthday function and they were turning away all his under age friends even though 18 and over got wristbands to prevent underage drinking they were extremely rude i think his name was zack he was trying to kick out the birthday boys family friends and wouldn’t let them stay to celebrate his birthday and he would not negotiate at all.

Great place to have a drink and some food. I'm only giving 1 star because you need to watch how much you get charged every time you buy a drink. There's a sketchy lady working bar who always puts through your drinks as something else so you get charged more, e.g order a pint and she'll charge you for 2 schooners. When you pull her up she pretends it's an honest mistake but she does it all the time if she thinks you're a newby or not paying attention

Best rugby club on the coast

We held a surprise party at The Alleygators a cpl of months back and it was fantastic! Jamie and the team were so incredibly helpful, nothing was too much trouble and the function room was set up beautifully for us. We just added some balloons and fairy lights. The food was a stand out. Many guests commented on the food. It was a great night and I highly recommend The Alleygators to anyone looking for a fun and easy celebration.

Here is an appreciation post as i feel the need to let people know about the manager Jamie and his wonderful staff.They all work as a team with a smile on their faces and went above and beyond to help my son's 3rd birthday celebrations a BLAST! From the set up, to the decorations, to the catering (which was delicious)and even the clean up. Nothing was too much trouble for them. After discovering this hidden gem, i would highly recommend spending an afternoon with family and friends at the Alleygators ruby club! And one MUST is to attend their annually special occasion events that put on .Such as Fathers Day, Easter etc as its a fantastic time for all! Great vibes all round!!

Thursday night raffle was such a hoot, the MC was hilarious, food was fast, big portions and was the best feed I've had from a club on a very long time.

Great small club. Has live music so better to ring first if that is your thing. Food is bistro style with a blackboard.

Attended a birthday celebration in the function room and I must say, the staff and services provided were excellent. The platters of food were frequent, varied and fleshly prepared. An assortment of the usual fair but equally interspersed with vegetarian, gluten free and other delicious and imaginative servings. Helpful and cheery staff dutifully attended even what must have appeared at times somewhat overreaching requests from some of the guests. The drinks were at regular bar prices or below. The room was basic but tastefully setup. The event was a great success and all enjoyed the experience. I highly recommend the venue, the chef, the sundry staff, Greg the manager(special mention here), and the food.
