Best Western Hobart

Decent rooms but poor housekeeping. My room and bed wasn’t made up when I returned in the evening. There was no sign not to do, still theh didnt do oy. Upon calling reception, they said they cant do anything.

Nice room, perfect location. Parking provided with 15$ per night.

Gutes renoviertes Hotel, ca 20 Minuten zu Fuß von der Waterfront. Im Zimmer ist Teppichboden. Das ist fast immer in Neuseeland und Tasmanien, aber das ist der einzige Nachteil. Kleine Balkone, schönes Bad mit Platz. Frühstück gute Auswahl, auch bei Leider nicht im Preis inbegriffen. Man hat zwei Stühle im Zimmer. Das Bett ist bequem. Man kann auch kostenlos Wäsche waschen

Whilst the rooms were ok, there were just a few things need to be done, there was hair on the bathroom door, the shower didn’t drain away quick enough, which in turn got the floor wet. The a/c rattled through out the night, the rollers on the glass door to the balcony need replacing as it was hard & noisy to open, if it had of been a senior opening it they may have battled.

Super comfy beds, clean room, lovely customer service from reception who were very attentive to my needs.

Hotel is a bit outside, a few blocks only from the town. Nice balcony with river view, clean, bed is comfortable. This is the first hotel where is no complimentary water in the room.

This first time i saw like this 4 star hotel. No swimming pool. No parking for hotel guests. Rude reception till end stay. Worst breakfast i have ever seen. Please dont waste your money for this hotel. Better book 2 star hotel for get this experience. Cant eat from breakfast menu. Same food always. Using left over food from the other days. I was very scared of food poisoning.no one care about guests and needs. Never book again like this hotel.no drainage for bathroom. If get shower cant go again next day morning. Can you imaging there is no swimming pool in a 4 star hotel?? I got good expirience of booking like this 1 star hotel.

We stayed 2 days. From the beginning till the end reception was very rude. I don’t know this hotel become 4 star hotel. We stay 5 hotels in Tasmania that all Better than this hotel. Never recommend to anyone. First of all they need to learn what is hospitality. I have worked more than 6 years hospitality. They never smile or talk nicely to guests. And room was full of water after get shower bcz there is no door or cover. Another thing there is no parking for hotel guests. When I ask reception she said need to park street or need to pay $30 for 2 days. Really disappointed about this. They serve breakfast like fruits what they used 1st day left over for next day. Can’t give any food for children.same menu for 2 days. If they 4 star hotels really need bring up their services.people pay money for great services. Never recommend for any with kids or family. And no swimming pool in 4 star hotel👌.

酒店比較舊但清潔，前枱肯给予提前入住。分配到的房間沒有任何景觀。房間大有足夠空間放行理，整體也算滿意。只是價格稍貴，但可能因是星期五入住的關係吧!

Don't like the toilet. The whole floor is getting wet after the bath. When you wake up, you are facing the mirror of the wardrobe. No slippers provided.

A very decent sized room, if a little bit of a walk from the downtown core - which wouldn't be such a big deal except for how hilly Hobart is, lol.

Lovely clean room. Shame bar was not open and Unable to get a sandwich or anything other than a vending machine packet of crisps.

Were meant to be there for 1 night with family of 5. Due to change of plans thanks to delayed luggage, stayed 5. Staff were super friendly and calm and were happy to accommodate our constant adding on nights and enquiries. Had the family room first 4 nights. Great to have accommodation that caters for 5 as far as size and space of rooms. Very clean, very central to downtown Hobart and easy walking distance to Salamanca and a very nice 1hour walk to the Female Factory and Cascade Brewery. We would definitely stay again.

Would have been nice to have a microwave and cutlery. No free parking. At $15 per day offered not worth it. Restaurant nice but limited options to eat and a little expensive. If you like walking easy yo get around but hilly. Staff fabulous 👌 a little expensive for what you get.

Location is decent quite central to most to dos and walkable distance to the restaurants and shops! Bathroom beautifully renovated however the rooms are abit dated yet still comfortable. Fridge provided and access to balcony is always nice. Definitely lost a star for the interior of the rooms. Breakfast is only between 7-10am I believe? Might need to check end time. Average nothing omg the basics are there and fresh. Barista made coffee js also available. Staff are ok, they clear tables and say hello. Not more needed from a buffet:

Great location. Very central to town centre. Easy walk to the harbour. Rooms are a good size. Hairdryer, fridge, kettle, teabags, coffee available. Breakfast is okay if included in room price but I would not pay $23 for it

Nice hotel I did not have the food so I cannot comment Comfortable bed You have to buy your own drinks for the fridge, so be prepared 20 minute walk to the port, which is good $15 for parking which I thought was a bit expensive per day The reception stuff strangely was not as friendly as the cleaners I would stay there again because of the good rate and location Needs a good breakfast bar and coffee shop close by but you have to walk five minutes to get to one

A good cheap hotel if passing through Hobart because of its location. We stayed in Hobart the week before but for 4 nights, in another hotel only 2 streets away and paid nearly double, yes it was better. But for one night passing through the Best western was perfect.

The quality and condition of the accommodation is not 4-star as advertised. Overpriced and not value for money! The hotel's location was convenient and provided accessible convenience to the town via walking. The hotel entrance area was clean and tidy, and the carpark had sufficient space with surprisingly wide parks. The room: The room was spacious with ample space between the desk, balcony, and bed. The carpet adjacent to the bed had sprinkles (hundreds & thousands) on the floor, assuumingly not vacuumed (not well). Voices could be clearly heard from the adjacent stranger room via the locked connecting door (used to connect family rooms). Substantial water marks/damage on the ceiling near the balcony door. The bed was very soft, resulting in a subpar sleep. The bathroom: Very modern bathroom, which was clean. Only 1 face washer was provided for a booking of 2 in the room. The shower exhaust is full of dust and unsightly. The bathroom steams up and makes the mirror inoperable for several minutes afterwards. This is exasperated by the exhaust and light turning off automatically (motion censored). Best Western Hobart Room 514 - Executive King Bed $171 AUD - Nov 2024

The room was clean and tidy, very spacious for a single stay and probably a couple also. The pillows weren't great and the beds were back breaking, there was no support in the bed whatsoever and was very uncomfortable. The walls are paper thin and I could hear next door sneeze, cough, talk on the phone and I could hear what they were playing on TV. The hotel itself was a little old and run down. The bathrooms looked recently renovated, which was nice. Overall a very mid stay. Nothing glaringly bad about this place but also nothing great.

Location is not right in busiest areas but that’s great coz then it’s quieter, and the room is very comfortable. You also get a voucher for pizza if you put up the do not disturb sign.

Staff were welcoming and kind, rooms were clean and modern and housekeeping was amazing. The staff at the desk were understanding when we needed to checkout later. The beds were a bit cheap beacause they had wheels and kept moving during the night. Overall pretty great!

lovely, clean and private room with a tv and modern bathroom alongside stunning views of hobart and mt wellington. staff were nice. gym was a bit small but had everything you need. strange that we had to pay for parking, that being said it was $15 a night which isn't bad at all. however the blanket covers were a bit insecure. overall a pleasant stay.

This was exactly what we expected…the king room was spacious enough (a couch would have been appreciated) and the bathroom was clean and functional with soaps/shampoo etc provided. There was plenty of tea and coffee for our 3 day stay. Our room was quiet and curtains kept the room dark at night. We paid extra for parking which was easily accessed. We were able to walk into the city from the hotel. The staff were pleasant and approachable,

Absolutely excellent service and amenities. Room was clean, big and had a cool view (including the balcony). Bed was comfortable and everything was in great working order. Reception staff were very knowledgeable and efficient.||The location is good as it's very close to Hobart CBD and walking distance to waterfront.||Happy hour at hotel bar was great with drinks discounted by 50%.||We would definitely stay here again!

Nice location near the City

Lovely hotel located in Hobart. Staff were friendly, welcoming and professional. Bar and restaurant were pleasant with a good variety of food available.Room was very clean and fresh and the guest laundry was a bonus. Big shout out to Antonio, Kieran, Melissa and Mathew who were amazing.

Very convenient location at Bathurst Street. If you'll be in Hobart on a Sunday, it's just a couple of blocks away from Farm Gate Markets. It's also next to a few car rental companies offices. Facilities look a little dated but this particular hotel looks like other Best Western hotels I've stayed at before. Overall the stay was satisfactory and it was a good base for our Tasmania holiday.

Close to the centre, walking distance to the wharf. Rooms are very clean and awesome service.

Fabulous location, good parking, good price and the accessibility room worked well for my stay.

The rooms were amazing and the staff were extra friendly, the room did NOT have moss, did NOT have food under the bed and was overall an amazing experience. The breakfast was great but served the same things and not much variety. Overall a great hotel to stay.

The room was spacious and clean, with a comfortable king-size bed. The coffee and tea facilities were adequate, and the bathroom and toilet had been recently renovated. Heating and air cooling were satisfactory on the first night. The location was ideal, within walking distance to shops and restaurants, and there was convenient parking available both on-site and off-street for a fee. Overall, it was a pleasant stay.

Ultimate girls trip stay! 4 of us stayed in a room with two rooms and it was perfect! We could walk to town and park at the hotel too. The rooms was clean, beds comfortable and bathroom was modern. Top place and incredible value!

The dinner is excellent tasty, especially sea food that I love. Staffs are very politeness and good serving spirit. This is my second trip to Hobart and visit this restaurant. We repeated order the same menu which we enjoyed last time. Highly recommended

Absolutely appalling experience. Having worked in hotels for over 15 years there is a duty of care that hotels should have for their guests. This hotel has none of that. My Mum stayed here for two nights. Got food poisoning in the restaurant onsite, received no support, had to book an extra nights accommodation in order to stay in her room until 1pm as she was so unwell. No support, no care, no empathy. And no investigation into the restaurant food. AVOID.

Lincoln was exceptionally wonderful to deal with, he went above and beyond for me. The rooms are spacious, the showers are FANTASTIC and the fact that you can get dinner and a couple of drinks onsite and not have to venture out into the cold is a blessing. The food is good too. I will be making this venue my choice of stay when I come back to Hobart.

Only down side was that my room was a little noisy. Otherwise very comfortable and well appointed. Staff were amongst the best I’ve dealt with in a hotel.

Shower is a step-up, which has to be remembered. Great rain shower head. Toiletries in bathroom are lovely with great scent. TV was a bit funky, could do with some minor additions to cutlery/crockery as there are some fantastic restaurants and takeaway places nearby for dinner. Easy walk down to Salamanca Markets, though it’s uphill coming back (if you’re loading yourself up with goodies)!

As soon as I walked into the hallway, there was a musky smell, the room doors did not open when I put my card in, and there was street noise from our room. Breakfast is only served from 7 to 9am, we were not informed and the lady at the counter responded rudely when we told her we were not told about these limited breakfast times.

Security was a little off with no card needed for the front door and elevator and you have to pay for parking extra which is strange. The reception staff were nice enough and it was a good price!

Got a good rate during the Winter Festival. Not the fanciest hotel I've ever stayed in, but reasonably priced, reasonably located, and reasonably comfortable. A bit surprised that housekeeping doesn't make up the room each day. But whatever.
