Last night my wife and I had dinner with a friend at the restaurant. We had chosen Eye Fillet Mignon and were not disappointed. Perfectly cooked medium/rare as we had asked and so tender, absolutely delicious! Our compliments to the Chef! Merry Christmas and a wonderful New Year to all xox

Amazing course, in great condition and with even better views

Great course, nice staff and some nice scenery.

This is lovely, friendly golf course, not far from Hobart, in a spectacular location, with views all around. The restaurant is spacious and comfortable, the staff are friendly and professional, and the meals are delicious, with a wide choice of food and drink at reasonable prices.

Went for lunch with a group of friends. Large servings and plenty of vari. Loads of GF options as well. Very enjoyable lunch.

Enjoyed a Christmas in July with family on the weekend. The special menu was interesting enough but… I ordered the ‘tender’ baked chicken breast. I had to ask for a steak knife the meat was so tough, cold veg and we waited for 1hr and 40 minutes for our meal. The restaurant was not terribly busy. The plum pud was good. In light of this I don’t think I’ll go back to order of the normal menu.

Always love coming here for a meal. Amazing menu, lots to choose from, the staff are great and the food is good. Please try the cocktails. They do not disappoint 🍹

Beautifully cooked and presented meals. Friendly staff. My only negative criticism is about the chips. All meals with chips had been pre-chicken salted. I find this an odd and bold decision as chicken flavour is not for the likes of all.

Food was great and generous. The crumbed Rib Eye was beautifully cooked and seafood was very fresh. Staff were very friendly. The view was very nice too.

Tasmania Golf Club on the outskirts of Hobart hosted us today. Yet another perfect weather day to be out playing golf! Great views from all over the course. Note the signature 12th, curving around the alcove beach.

Today for lunch 9 of us thoroughly enjoyed a magnificent lunch & a few bottles of wine. The meals were top notch & the service was great! Cannot recommend The Tasmania Golf Club highly enough! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The golf course is an absolute must for anyone visiting tassie with a great layout, big greens, fairways and greens in fabulous condition. Extremely disappointed that 3 of our group ordering off the dinning room menu and the other ordered a steak sandwich off the pub menu and were told we had to sit outside instead of in the restaurant which was separated by a piece of glass because one was not off the restaurant menu. Such a great day ruined by a ridiculous standard set by management which really needs to be looked at.

Gerard's expertise and genuine care added an extra layer of warmth and assurance, allowing us to fully enjoy every moment without a worry in the world. We have only received our sneak peak photos back, but every angle is stunning thanks to the incredibly beautiful background the golf course provides. We wholeheartedly recommend this venue to anyone seeking an unforgettable experience for their significant moments ❤️.

This venue never disappoints. The meals and beverages are excellent and well priced. The outlook over the golf course makes this a pleasant place to enjoy your visit meal.

I can only speak for the restaurant which we visit regularly. The staff are absolutely fantastic and always make you feel welcome. The food is brilliant and consistent. We’ve taken all our visiting family from the mainland and they r blown away. Try the brownies too, but save some for me!!

I must say customer service was outstanding so friendly and helpful, meal was great with comfortable surroundings, I had scollops chips and salad, I would like to see the meal dished with a little fazaz not like a pub meal, but was very nice lots scollops Mark & Tracey

Have been before and enjoyed it but a recent visit was quite disappointing. Let me state firsty that the staff are friendly and the service is good. We also had desserts and really enjoyed the sticky date pudding and apple crumble. The problem was really with our mains. The scallops were quite small and tasteless, the serving was small considering it cost $34. My wife had the cauliflower gnocchi but there was no cauliflower in them. It tasted like a flour and water dumpling with no seasoning. Once again flavour was lacking. The worst dish was the lamb shank which is described on the menu as 'falling off the bone'. Unfortunately it was tough and virtually inedible. This dish should never have left the kitchen, it was awful. On the plus side, the eye fillet beef snitzel was very good. We had 2 rounds of drinks as well as cheesy bread which was fine, but 3 of the mains were not to standard. It's not a cheap venue either. Doubt I will be back.

A wonderful place for a relaxed meal. Great views, attentive service and beautiful meals. It wasn't at all busy when we were there.

Brilliant golf course, wonderful greens. All the holes were super fun to play, challenging for good golfers and seems very playable for your average players. Loved it

Great service at the golf shop. The course was very nice and in good condition. Pace of play was perfect. The putting greens were very good and matched the greens on the course. Facilities were nice.

Expensive classy place. But where is the washroom I was unable to find one.!

Quality of meal at the restaurant was fantastic, value was very reasonable and views are spectacular. The decor is pretty aged but the meal and service were excellent. Plus it was not busy at all so easy to get a table at late notice as we travelled through with children. Steaks were the highlight. I’d make a point of going back when next in Hobart.

Awesome club and course. Some very memorable holes/views. Obviously gets a bit of use but greens and tee boxes great. Enjoyed the scallops, chips n gravy + pale ale and whiskey chaser!
