Very nice food and very nice people

Wow was the factor when I stepped inside this grand old building. Service was absolutely amazing. Food was amazing The chef did a awesome job on my porterhouse steak perfect well cooked. We did stay in the rooms so I can't comment on them. The ladies behind the bar was awesome very helpful and go above beyond to help you.

For $18 (with the purchase of a drink), this burger deal is solid value. The patty is massive, perfectly seasoned, and definitely the highlight of the meal. The bacon is cooked just right, adding a smoky crunch that complements the patty well. Every element in the burger works together to enhance the overall flavor. However, the pickle could’ve been tangier to better balance the richness of the other ingredients. The fries are plentiful and satisfyingly crisp, rounding out the meal nicely. On top of the great food, the space itself is a big bonus—there’s plenty of room both indoors and outdoors, making it a comfortable spot to relax with friends. Overall, it’s a satisfying deal that delivers great taste in a cozy setting. Just a little more kick from the pickles, and it’d be perfect!

Filthy place full of filthy old blokes and women trying to get lucky. Trump supporters making the place look like a joke and had to leave the venue with my family due to to many idiots and zero staff control

Great local pub down Semaphore.

Saw three bands perform here and it was feral. Management is terrible. “Locals” were let in free of charge despite the gig being advertised as $10 entry for months, allowed aggressive and threatening behaviour to the door people & extremely mishandled situations with drunk patrons who brought their own alcohol and their young child to a show that was way too loud for the poor thing. Come here if you want a beer thrown at you for literally just standing there 👍🏼

Cumberland Hotel always supports original live south Australia and music at least three nights a week. It has somewhat sporadic opening hours but when it's open the party is truly on, it's got a great beer garden and a great little band room where you get lots of very entertained live performancesthe funniest thing about the Cumby is the piano in the pokey room, and the very interesting banter. The clientele all worth a visit.

Brilliant Band venue, regularly featuring some great local original hard rock SA bands. Huge Beer garden, often with an open fire, plenty of shelter out doors. relaxed bar staff.

Great pub with live music

The bleached blonde haired bar Maid was extremely rude non hospitable and tried to charge me for a Water when I was playing pokies in the gaming room. She also would not let me get money out from the bar eftpos machine. She rudely pointed to the ATM machine get it out of there she screamed. Todd was an awesome front of house barman. He should be promoted.

The Cumberland is a friendly, quirky older style hotel with an eclectic patronage. Good bands and reasonably priced drinks. Service can be a bit slow when crowded so order two drinks at once 😅 Huge beer garden with fairy lights. Hotel upgrades are apparently happening soon.

What a cute old style pub. I went for the first time to see friends play in a band. It's a classic old pub with great character and lovely staff. Good location, clean and tidy. I'll be back to visit again!

I love the beer garden and the atmosphere. I loved being there for outdoors music event under those magificent 🌳 🌲 they have such character. And they provide such shade and green relief in a harsh landscape. I'd like to hear if plans to remove them are true? The new residents opposite would benefit from a cool pleasant place in their neighbourhood.

The Band last night at the Cumberland Hotel which I had never seen before, were OMG JUST ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC.

Saw an excellent one piece the other night, Mark Vincent, easy listening, great staff and nice prices..
