Very busy. Both of us ordered salmon and so did a friend who ordered after us, he got his and we waited another 1/2 hour for ours. Was good when we eventually got it

Disgusted. We've been in this club at least 8 tines in the last few weeks. They refused us tonight because there was no address on our drivers license or passport which is the ID We've used every time. We tried to explain our confusion but the young woman and old guy were rude not listening or understanding why we were confused. Bloody ridiculous. They did not care, they told us to leave through the back entrance. Never been treated like this before. Do not recommend this club. First time ever We've been refused entry due to no addresses. We're visiting from overseas. They then asked us to produce a bill with our address. Absolutely appalling behavior.

Do not recommend, we are new to Orange and at New Year's Eve wanted to visit this place. The lady at the reception didn't let us in,because we are not members and forse to become one. We did not want to become members of that bar and were shocked that she basically just told us to go away.

December roast dinner was terrible, overpriced, cold Yorkshire pudding and very small for a dinner priced over $25. The chicken Parmigiani was better but still very overpriced and they got my order wrong, giving me the standard Parmigiani instead of the Italian Parmigiani that I ordered. The latte was very nice, smooth and a good coffee taste generally, these were all ordered at The Coffee Shop. This closed at 8pm so we moved into the bistro for another latte. This was served by a woman as bitter as this coffee. I assume she took the huff because we only ordered coffee. She slammed the coffee on the table and didn't say a word. So there are several possible reasons the club was virtually empty, as well as being Xmas Eve. We are only visiting Orange so it's a one off visit but I wouldn't be going back to this club judging by how the evening turned out.

The food and service were wonderful. Very pleasant with plenty of tables for 2.

1/2 an hour to get a coffee and the Bistro bar service is very slow unless Not happy won't come here again very disappointed

Unfriendly staff told coffee shop hot food opens at 5 and states in the menu it’s 5 but it’s changed to 5.30 maybe change your information

We went here for a wake and the green room was booked. We got there no one was behind the bar, staff had no idea what was going on. We found out that they had no bus to take us anywhere as they do t use ot mon or tues. We were told to leave at 530 as the bar was closing. We would have all stayed for a meal but went somewhere else. Would never go there again

Great atmosphere club with welcoming friendly staff particularly in Piano bar on rooftop terrace! So good we visited twice in our 3 day visit to Orange !! Highly recommend ……

Just another suburban RSL club that encourages gambling. Sad.

Well I drove 8:5 hours to get here, party of 4, ordered 3 surf and turf, one with mash and veggies, one braised pie. Braised pie was lukewarm but tasty, hot would be better. They forgot the mash and the surf all except one. The steak was cooked ok. When we informed them that the order was accidentally wrong, the employee did not have a very good look on her face like we should just eat and shut up. I will not eat here again. What a waste of money. Catherine

Meals are just average some far to expensive and often overdone and tastless. Why were all tables near the window reserved for lunch on the 25 july??? No one came for quite some time, i thought the diggers restaurant is for all members. The elderly white haired lady from the staff got quite angry when I wanted to sit there even so the sign was gone. I felt like walking out instead of eating there, not a good atmosphere

Joined the club tonight. Both the rear and entrance receptionist where very welcoming, helpful , and pleasant in communication and there roles. Both the bat attendant and bistro servers where again very pleasing, and Joyful. My order arrived promptly and was placed with politeness and a smile. My garlic cheese bread was as expected. My chilli garlic linguine was a good size and looked promising. There where amble large prawns easily accommodating of one person. Where I feel improvement could be made is in the flavour. Unfortunately it was very bland , pasta was cooked well but quite gluggy, there was no seasoning and no heat or bite from I assume either dried flakes or chille powder . The cheery tomatoes had no sweetness . This dish with these ingredients all can take and need strong and powerful flavours as to boost and highlight the flavour experience. Fresh chill and basil with a touch of roasted garlic would really pull this dish together and make it an explosion of flavour and texture. I do look forward to returning and trying other dishes due to the great welcome and service and the pleasing ambience and environment.

We lunched at the cafe for the week during a bridge tournament and had an excellent choice of dishes to try. Great value for money

Employee took my visitor licence and gave it to another guest, she kept denying that she took it, 15 minutes later the duty manager reviewed the camera hesitant and saw everything, we left as we didn't get any apology from any one not even the manager

Rude wait staff trying to take meals when not finished and smirk remarks when walking away from table food slapped on plate and over cooked is the chef qualified or just a food supervisor.. very disappointed in the service here..

Had breakfast at the cafe, included in our meal. 50$ for a bacon and egg roll and a few slices of toast. Poor waitress was run off her feet. Wouldn't come back though

Service at the cafe was slow, additionally the order was completely forgotten. When it did arrive the drinks were spilled and no apologies were made. The staff laughed about their inadequacy and were overheard talking about how they were waiting for us to leave (I assume to alleviate their discomfort) Every job is important and should be delivered with professionalism and respect. Disappointed and a taint on our evening.

The cafe offers large old fashioned milkshakes and delicious cakes. The restaurant Diggers also has some decent dining options. For something fancier, head upstairs to the Greenhouse, where you can enjoy nice cocktails, live music, and a family-friendly atmosphere. The club is clean, has plenty of parking, and is overall a great spot for both casual and special occasions. Highly recommended!

Nice little club in orange. We had breakfast here and it was nice here. Very quite when we went so not many people seems to visit on a weekday. Plenty of parking and toilets are nearby. Food prices and waiting times are reasonable

Just back from possibly the worst meals we have experienced at this club order was given at 6.37 there were 4 of us garlic bread arrived about half hour later 2 meals then came out at 7.50 then another 15 minutes still no meals went to check only to be told we're busy meals finally arrived had been sitting for 20 minutes going cold no one knew who's order they were 2 snitzels a kids creamy pasta and a baked dinner I guess this order just too hard won't be going back save your money had to give 1 star because I couldn't give a big fat zero

Went for dinner that was advertised as bbq and blues night. Expected bbq of several choices of meats, didn't see any sight of a bbq or any bbq foods. 7 of us ordered different meals and all of them were terrible, overcooked with sweet sauces. Very poor quality, basically uneidible. I then received an email from the club asking how my meal was and could they do anything better, I told them of my experience, needless to say I haven't heard from them. Replying to complaints is a start to doing things better I'd have thought.

Chicken was cooked to absolute perfection. It was tender, succulent, juicy, and delicious.

Diggers is run by snooty boomers who should retire. Have no patience and happy to cause a scene without the right information.. Robbin is the main culprit. As a new member only being there 3 times I won't he back with my family and the 5 year membership and sit and rot!

I WILL NEVER GO BACK i took my family out to the diggers so we could have a nice family dinner but instead we had to seat ourselves only to have a incredibly rude hostess approach us at our table she then had the nerve to go stand at another table across from us and proceed to talk about me and my family while both her and the other customer pointed at us I have never been treated so poorly or with such disrespect in my life and I will be making complaints about the rude staff (yes I have her name) oh not to mention the food was very subpar and not worth the money. Don't waste your time unless you want to leave feeling like you are not welcome in a place that is ment to family friendly and welcoming.

Great club. Staff friendly and the food was excellent.

I have had 2 lunches over the last 2 weeks. The first was 2 Fridays ago. I ordered the fish special. Before I had a chance to sit down it was delivered. Made me think it was a prepared meal and not my order. The fish was an entree size, chips were luke warm. An absolute disgrace. Yesterday I returned for my usual chicken snitzel. After waiting the best part of 20 minutes it was delivered. I also noticed 3 other tables who were there before me were getting quite agitated as they had not received their order. The snitzel was warm, lightly crumbed and soft buttery looking not golden brown which I am used to. Once again chips were just warm. Salad was 2 half small tomatoes, 2 slices of cucumber and about 3 small lettuce leaves. What a disgrace. I would rather spend my $10 elsewhere. I won’t be dining there again.

Went to the Piano bar and ordered 3 cocktails, two came out half full, when I asked the server to fill them up, he said that’s how it is. Basically he made 1 cocktail in 1 shaker, then the 2nd two from one mixer. He didn’t want to help at all, I asked for a refund as they were Sydney prices. He called a manager and she was able to top them up. What a chore, oh and they tasted terrible. Poor service, expensive prices and terrible taste. I won’t return.

Diggers restaurant always satisfies our needs - for me lambs fry & bacon does the trick, and the chicken snitties are always good. Staff are always attentive and friendly.

Have had pretty good meals generally at services clubs. My husband enjoyed his steak which was cooked medium as requested. I had the roast of the day, lamb with veggies, gravy etc. it arrived cold, sent it back, same meal returned, still cool, but gave up. The kitchen was not busy so I don’t know what’s going on. No apology from staff.

Only giving 1 star as can not give 0 stars. Do yourself a favour... steer clear. You are better off giving your money to a flying pig. On arrival, we were not welcomes in a friendly way, no hello, just asked if we have signed in already today..... Went to the Bistro. Ordered fish and chips, got 2 pieces of fish (surprised) 1 was inedible due to being powdery, chips were hard. Lamb cutlets were thin and dry, gravy was cold, Pizza was dreadfull and slimy, Cheesy pasta had way too much cheese which made it unpalatable. Chicken Burger was dry and chewy the Bacon was horrible. The drinks tasted watered down, the lemonade was like carbonated tap water, the lemon, lime and bitters was more like pink lemonade. Cups were dirty. Needless to say the food and whole experience was extremely disappointing.

Excellent as usual. Food took a little longer, but there was a crowd and was expected. EDIT: 2/1/24 Ordered the Diggers Ultimate Burger I wish I had taken a photo. It came pleasantly presented. With the chips in their own little basket and the onion rings dangling off one of the spikes they put in to hold the burger in place. Chips were nice and cripsy. Onions rings crispy and sweet. But that's where the niceties end. The patty, blended from brisket and chuck steak, was so very, very dry and tough. I thought I could soldier through and hope that the juices from the rest of the Burger would carry it. But the first taste of the pickled cucumber took my breath away and dried up any moisture in a second. My mouth was like the Sahara Desert 🏜 😩 There was no rescuing that poor patty, 🪦 it was a gonner. R.I.P. ☠️ It was taken home for dog food.

Short lady at front reception was rude and wouldn't allow Myself or my Mother to enter the establishment, due to what felt like a personal disinterest. Won't be going back

Extremely rude people, don’t go there. the receptionist is a horrible person, she was so rude and the first word she says is “just wait there” then look at my drivers license to ask “I just need to know where are you come from” why? Because I look like Asian?!
