I took my beautiful girlfriend to this place for our first time meeting inperson we only stayed one night til we went back to my town and we wishe we had stayed longer the room was amazing we loved the staff specially the guy with the reindeer ears he was funny and very polite if you know him please give him a raise for being awesome at his job from Robby an Kat we recommend this place for everyone we will forsure be back this year for a visit 😁

We payed for standard king room and got put in a disabled room where room was less appealing then the one we seen when we booked on line. Definitely would not come back again

Pool had a ring around the pool of dirt. It has two band aids floating in the pool and long hair. There was no music playing or bar open near the pool. Only about 6 long seats in the pool area so if one family was there most would be taken.

Spent 3 nights here and loved it. Room was spacious. Excellent pool and gym. Great breakfast although pricey. Great location next to Rundle St. If have a car works out much cheaper to get a ticket at the autopark and take your car out each day if staying multiple days

3-minute check-in and check-out. Clean and well-thought-out hotel. Really comfy bed and nicely sized room. Pool was good size but full of kids splashing, in an ideal world there would be a kids pool.

The room was very spacious and the bed really comfortable . Location was perfect for shopping and the Botanic garden (Chihuly exhibition). My one small hitch was the alarm was preset (by previous guest?) and went off really early

We had room 1707 at the Crown Plaza in Adelaide. The room was clean and comfy and good for a 2night stay. The bed and pillows were way too soft. They are at a stage where they need replacing. The hotel has been opened for 4yrs and needs a change up of mattresses and pillows. The bathroom was clean, tidy and spacious but thought a rain shower would have been installed. Why is Foxtel not a thing anymore in hotels?!?! The pool was vey good, had a swim in there and was relaxing and good to cool off. Awesome location, a short 5 minute walk to Rundle Mall and other cafes for breakfast, lunch and dinner

If you're looking for a very nice place to stay in Adelaide, CBD then look no further than Crowne Plaza! It exceeded our expectations. The views from our room were unmatched by anything we have ever experienced. Saw the sun rise and set over the Adelaide hills and CBD. The food was also outstanding (both breakfast and dinner). The bed was very comfortable, and the facilities were great. We'll definitely be back!

I regularly stay at Crown for work and personal travel and regularly book our global employees to stay with Crowne Adelaide. My most recent stay was with my family of four, hoping to achieve a relaxing poolside get away post a busy year. Unfortunately, the cocktails were terrible and food very bland from Luna Bar. In the past they have food & drinks has been good from here. Cocktails were very overpriced and watered down with no flavour, my husband and I tried 4 different types, even a glass of coke had more than half soda water added to it. I wish we had purchased by bottle. Our room had a strange smell and the teacups were dirty. Unfortunately, the in-house phone was not in service, so I had to in-person attend Reception at 10pm to request clean cups. The beds were terribly uncomfortable, neither of us had a good night sleep, whereas usually we all have a sound sleep at Crowne Adelaide. The pool and gym was lovely and clean and breakfast was an absolute delight. I had stayed with Crowne Adelaide only 4 weeks prior to this stay. Very disappointed.

Second time we have stayed here. First time it has just opened so we thought some of the issues were just teething problems. Some issues remain. It’s not a bad spot, it is just average. The shower is terrible. You can choose temperature or pressure, you can’t have both. No bar of soap for the shower is also a problem. Really slow service in the bar too. Place is fine, just … average.

Very disappointed with the customer service, extremely unprofessional, we questioned a lot of things and no one was giving any answers even the managers. They don’t care about the customer journey, it’s more about how much money they are making as an organization. Very unprofessional Crown Plaza hotels Adelaide.

Crowne was a great hotel in Adelaide. It was an amazing location. Especially because it was close to all the restaurants in the area, as well as all the retail shops. There was not a lot happening past the shop area side. The pool area could be bigger, but there are not many outdoor pools in Adelaide hotels.

What an absolute joke the IHG price guarantee was. Screen shots taken, videos of 3rd party booking sites etc. still didn’t honour the guarantee and they every excuse they could at me. Never had this issue with any other company

My family had an amazing stay at Crowne Plaza during Christmas in a Double Queen room. Everything was perfect from the moment we arrived. We were warmly welcomed by two friendly staff members, Tony and Lucy, who were incredibly helpful with our luggage and gave great recommendations for places to visit in Adelaide.|The team at Koomo as Nancey, Hai, and Lucy from breakfast, truly stood out. They made our stay so enjoyable, and Lucy she made our dining experience even more delightful with her knowledge and helpful suggestions for menu and drink choices.|The pool area and Luna10 Bar were my favorites too, with their fresh cocktails and the fantastic DJ on New Year’s Eve.|It was an unforgettable vacation for my family, and we can’t wait to return. Thank you to all the staff at Crowne Plaza, you guys are the true hospitality!

Had a 2 night stay with my husband at Crowne Plaza last weekend and enjoyed every minute of our stay. Our room was a corner room on level 20 with full length windows on two sides of Adelaide Hills and the city. The room was beautiful, comfortable and very clean. Bathroom had a lovely large shower and great water pressure. Our buffet breakfast was really delicious with lots on offer. Every staff member we met was delightful, helpful and welcoming so we would highly recommend this hotel and look forward to returning one day. Thank you Crowne Plaza Adelaide for a great weekend visit!

An underwhelming hotel tbh with a very average restaurant & buffet breakfast and service that requires improvement.

The hotel was excellent overall and I would be happy to recommend it to anyone but there are some good and indifferent points worth mentioning:|- There are 2 main lifts taking you from floors 1-20, naturally there is a decent wait time when you are wanting a lift, particularly at busy times|- The pool is nice but it is a relatively small area, only 5 sun beds and a small bench to sit at. The pool is also quite cold, maybe they warm it up in the cooler months but everyone at the pool would comment how cold it is, once you were in though it was quite comfortable on the warm days|- The phone in the room is very frustrating to use, it doesn’t sit on the charger and is connected to a bigger unit yet not very easy to workout how to use which makes calling for room service or reception very difficult at times| The good however was very good:|- The room was clean and very well maintained each day|- Staff were very friendly, particularly the breakfast buffet staff, Ryan was a standout|- The breakfast buffet was very good, great variety including fresh made omelettes, eggs, etc. |- The hotel is in an excellent location, close to everything in the city with great restaurants and cafes nearby|- The hotel bar is a nice relaxed area with good staff and a good selection of drinks and food|- Rooms are a good size as are the bathrooms, very comfortable and modern with great views on the higher floors above level 10

First time using my IHG rewards and given the most disappointing experience. Room allocated had no view. My view was another building which is student accommodation and could not look out the window. No mention of this when I made the booking that this is the type of room that will be allocated. You are allocated King standard room. Outside the door to my room the cleaner left the vacuum cleaner during my entire stay. I felt like I was going into the cleaners room every time I came back to the room. Near the lifts dirty glasses were there for my entire stay. So no staff member checks the floors. When arrived at hotel to check in after 2pm my room was not ready. Staff member said it would not be long and they would text me to tell me when it was ready. This never happened. Adelaide has now got a lot more competition for good hotels and had I known that I was going to be given a rubbish room I would not have booked this hotel. Based on my experience I would not recommend staying here.

Positives: Great customer service, views from rooms on high floors, quiet A/C, location. Great selection at Buffet Breakfast . Negatives: having to park in delivery lane, walk to check in, then drive to external carpark building, return to floor 10 for check in. Too many steps involved to check in. Waiting for lifts can be long and lifts full and stooping at multiple floors when because only 2/3 lifts is for customers, the other is for staff. Do like other hotels and share the 3rd lift with customers. We can easily hear the conversation of the people next door to us because there seems to be gaps and poor insulation around the windows and it’s quite annoying, especially if you like a quiet room. Sad because their baby was screaming and it keep us up at early hours of the morning, This is what we expect in $100 motel out in the country not in the CBD in a high rise hotel like this.

🤩 Truly one of the best hotels I’ve ever experienced! The corner room with city and hill views was exceptionally clean and modern. The staff’s behavior was outstanding, and the breakfast was absolutely amazing. The pool with its stunning view and the Luna10 bar added an extra touch of luxury. I would also like to extend my special thanks to the hotel’s management.

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at the Crowne Plaza Hotel Adelaide just before Christmas 2024. Traveling as a family of three—two adults and one child—we stayed in a double Queen room on the 16th level, and it was nothing short of perfect. From the moment we arrived, the service was impeccable. The staff at the hotel and the Koomo restaurant went above and beyond to ensure our stay was enjoyable. Speaking of Koomo, the restaurant was a standout highlight for us. The food was delicious, and the staff’s attention to detail made dining there a true pleasure. Great spot right next to East Terrace. Well appointed and spacious ‘Standard’ room. The restaurant, bar, seating area and pool on level 10 are a real stand out! Felt like we’d had a holiday overseas. Highly recommend.

The hotel is ideally located and just a small walk to restaurants, cafes, the zoo and Botanic Gardens. The room we had was very small and we had to move the small table and chairs just to be able to store our luggage (2 bags). The pillows look nice and fluffy, but once you put your head on them, they are flat and provide no support whatsoever. A/C was also either very cold or off.

No food at bar other that snacks and very very limited room service

Disappointing.

So far it has taken 90mins to check in, the requested two rooms (3 months ago, with 4 phone call checks) on the same floor ended up completely different. Although the reception manager stated the allocation was not changed, full believe staff changed the allocation. So now 2 rooms 8 floors apart. This hotel is incompetent.

Bar frinkin joke, staff totally INCOMPETENT, NOT A CLUE, people in swimwear, semi naked not a good look. Do not go here for an enjoyable time/drink. Unsupervised children running amimok. PULLMAN nearby absolutely 5star, Crowne Plaza -5 rating

Good location. Car park available next to the hotel. Nice and modern building. Room was very clean and a comfortable bed.

We had a five night stay. We had booked a high floor standard room but joined IHG rewards and were upgraded to a premium room on the 15th floor. The room was clean and in good repair. There was a minibar, a small round table and chairs, a safe and tea/coffee making equipment. The bathroom had dispensers for shower gel, shampoo, conditioner and hand soap and lotion. Amenities included shower cap, nail file and cotton pads. Reception is on the 10th floor and there are 2 sets of lifts, one to go down and one to go up from the 10th floor. The breakfast buffet was perfectly adequate. We had a light meal and drinks in the Luna bar which were tasty. The hotel has a pool although we didn't use it. The location is excellent, very central for restaurants and shops and not to far from the botanic gardens that were well worth a visit. We would happily stay again.

We have stayed at Crowne Plaza Adelaide numerous times, usually in their Executive Suite however, these were fully booked over the Christmas period. We stayed in a higher level corner room, which was clean and spacious with fabulous views of the Adelaide Hills. |Tony welcomed us upon check-in a pleasant and professional manner. He confirmed a few details and we were quickly settling in our room. Beds were comfy and I never ran out of hot water in the shower.|The buffet breakfast was awesome with loads to choose from. |Although the weather was cold & windy during our stay, I did visit the pool. It was heated but I had to get out at some stage & face the cold winds. The pool was maintained with fluffy towels and impeccably clean.|Crowne Plaza Adelaide remains our top 3 go to" hotel when wanting a staycation."

The front desk staff is friendly even offering luggage service to our room. The room is clean but the aircon a bit noisy. The location is convenient and close to Rundle mall. Car park is just next to the hotel. Our kid had a great time in the rooftop swimming pool. We tried Luna 10 bar’s cocktails with the bartender’s recommendation but I didn’t quite like it. The breakfast buffet has a lot of choices and nicely presented, however we didn’t really enjoy the food. The waffles were like out from the bag not freshly made and my broccoli had worms on it. The waitress was serving freshly made food, I tried some and didn’t like them. The coffee machine’s coffee was not good as well. I would say the food was a let down of our experience, but overall we still had a good time here and will recommend this hotel to our friends.

What a great stay. We had the most wonderful time and especially the kids loved it there. From the kids activities pack at the check in to the kids corner at the breakfast, they had a unique and exciting experience. Also, the staff at the hotel from the desk to the restaurant and house keeping were exceptionally kind and courteous. Would love to come back. Thank you once again.

Stayed here for two nights and just paid $400 (breakfast included)... Considering it is peak season, I'd say rhe price is not bad at all... The pool has fantastic views, but it is soooo cold due to the wind so wasn't able to swim at all. My little guy had tons of fun in the pool though... I don't expect much from breakfast buffets in Australia anymore, but they have a pretty decent selection... Staff is also nice and friendly though they seem to be understaffed which is why we had to carry our own luggage...Hubby didn't mind though... Location is superb... Literally walking distance to a bunch of restos and the mall... Will definitely stay again when we come back to Adelaide!

Had a wonderful experience staying here for business purposes. Staff were professional and the amenities are clean and tidy. Would stay here again. Also really close to nice restaurants.

We spent 4 nights here and had a lovely time. Staff were helpful particularly when we couldn't get Netflix to connect. We utilized the pool and the gym and the Luna 10 bar. We even enjoyed a few snacks from the bar menu. Food was a bit on the expensive side, but downstairs at Chapter 3 they had good toastie and coffee deal, location was great, plenty of restaurants and shops nearby and the gardens really close by as well. We found it very central to get everywhere and would stay here again.

We stay at the Crowne every December while visiting friends in Adelaide, and it never disappoints. The location is perfect, the rooms are comfortable, thoughtfully designed, and filled with natural light thanks to the large windows that offer great views of the city. The buffet breakfast is always a highlight, complemented by the consistently friendly and attentive service. During our recent stay, I arrived just after breakfast service had ended and couldn’t help but glance longingly at the food being cleared away. I asked if it might still be possible to get some bacon and potatoes, and the chef went above and beyond. He got cooking, and returned moments later with a beautifully prepared platter, far exceeding what I had requested, and served it with a genuine smile. It was clear he took pride in making my day, and it’s these thoughtful gestures that keep us coming back year after year.

These people are rip off . Quoted me $225 over the phone and when I gave credit card details they charged me $40 extra for same premium room as was miscalculated told me , Shame on you .

Room was great, view was great, location was great and the pool, if you can get there when it's empty, is REALLY great. The service was perfect from Lucy from Koomo restaurant, she gave us excellent recommendations and always checked on us making our 23rd anniversary unforgettable!!! Her service was the cherry on top

This is a gem of a hotel! Clean and comfortable rooms, lovely pool, friendly and accomodating staff. A great gym and the location is perfect! Walking distance to all the great pubs, cafes and restaurants in Rundle Street, close to the lovely Art Gallery and Botanic Gardrns, walking distance to the main city, tram stops and Adelaide oval. I would love to go back!

We checked in with X and we absolutely loved the arrival experience, she was friendly very welcoming, professional and offered exceptional customer service. Dinner at Koomo was delicious, the staff at the restaurant were beyond great, we especially loved the Humpty Doo barramundi and the Greenslade teriyaki chicken thigh. Breakfast was a delight, favourite part was the juice station. The room was very clean and beyond what we had expected. Tens tens tens across the board!!

It was a great place to stay, the staff were friendly and the room was very comfortable, the view was outstanding. The only drawback is the reception is on the 10th floor, there are signs but are hard to see. Room service meals where good value for money

Damn expensive for the benefits and the range of the hotel and the facilities. I booked for 3 people, but there was no extra bed in the room. They provided a cot and bed, which was very bad and my son got back ache with that sleeping on it for 3 nights. No cleaning done on the first day. We had to request for it on day 2. AC was bad. We had to ask for coffee pods and water as only 2 pods were given per day and we are 3 people. Charging 557$ per day should be reasonable to provide more than 3 pods coffee atleast, I drink 2 coffees per day, that is insane to beg them for coffee every day. so cheap to give only 2 per day. U can get better hotels at this price point in darling harbour. U can get a 5 star hotel as well, we regret to book it here. paying 500$+ per day to get a cheap hotel. I would never book here again, instead will book a better one at this price range.

Great views

Arrived at the hotel early but was able to check in. Staff are very friendly and helpful. We were lucky to receive a high floor room with great views of Adelaide city and the mountains. The Luna 10 bar is a nice place to relax and have a drink while taking in the view.

I have stayed at Crowne Plaza Adelaide in Nov 2024. The facilities were good with great views of Sunrise and Sunsets. Rooms were nice and tidy with comfortable beds. The staff was friendly and helpful. Highly recommend this place.

From the moment we stepped inside the door, through the entire stay the staff couldn't have been more helpful!! The room was so lovely, with plenty of space and floor to ceiling windows. We will definitely be returning to Crowne Plaza Adelaide.

Stayed one night but it was excellent, the staff couldn't do enough for me & the breakfast was terrific. The Concierge was very helpful & ordered me a taxi which arrived in about 5 minutes. From check in to check out, the stay was flawless.

Stayed at the One-Bedroom Suite and it was a generally pleasant experience, but the room size was smaller than expected, and the layout felt a bit tight. The view from the suite was good. The rooftop pool was unexpectedly cold, even on a hot day, due to the wind, which was a bit disappointing. The breakfast buffet was underwhelming and didn’t add much to the experience. The hotel’s location is great but overall, the hotel felt more suited for business stays rather than leisure. While the reception staff could have been more friendly, the phone support team was very accommodating and helpful, efficiently handling all our requests. This was overall a standard hotel experience.

Roadworks beneath the room all night for 2 nights was unfortunate. Restaurant is reasonable, rooms were pretty good.

I arrived early and they insisted they would phone me as soon as my room was ready. They didn't, but my room was ready when I got back. General confusion about this. Check-in is on the 10th floor - I should have gone there first rather than on the ground level.

Had a great four day stay here, room was big enough for myself and was cleaned daily. The restaurant had a great menu and the pool was good for cooling down after watching the Adelaide 500 show. Very central close to supermarkets and all staff were very friendly.

Our room was spotless clean. Very large comfy beds & pillows. Staff were very friendly, polite and helpful. We particularly loved the view, the rooftop pool & bar & the late check-out certainly came in handy after celebrating our sons 21st birthday the night before! We certainly will not hesitate to stay again Our only complaint was that we would have liked to have stayed longer. HIghly recommend this Hotel.

I recently stayed at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Adelaide and couldn’t have been more pleased with my experience. The location is fantastic—within easy walking distance to the main sightseeing sights in the city, vibrant restaurants, bars, and shops of East End, with Rundle Mall and the West End also just a comfortable stroll away. The double standard room was spacious and well-designed, with a good-sized bathroom and great amenities, including a coffee machine, bar fridge, and quality toiletries. The service throughout my stay was excellent, and the staff went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. The breakfast buffet was another highlight, offering a wide variety of fresh options, and the barista coffee was top-notch. I’ll definitely be returning on my next trip to Adelaide!

I wish I could give more stars for service! This is a fantastic hotel, especially if you are travelling for work. I arrived early and Tonny was able to get me into my room early and was just generally lovely to deal with. I waited in the business area and was able to get a drink and some chips while I worked and waited for my room to be made ready. The hotel is clean and modern, and the rooms are well appointed. It's also in a great location for Rundle Street / Rundle Mall / Adelaide University.
