Coomera has been our regular family dinner outing for a while now and I just wanted to say that I really appreciate Robyn who is incredible at looking after us and always offers the best service when we come in. My sister and I enjoy coming in to your tavern to catch up to have a drink and play some keno, I just wanted to mention Vanessa who works in the front bar she is always so friendly to us and to all the other patrons . It's very rare to visit an establishment to find a member of staff cleaning the table and chairs to a standard as Vanessa was hats off to her for having the work ethic she does she certainly is an asset to you.

Came for dinner and the kids disco tonight and the staff were so lovely and accomodating, Tatum did amazing with the kids and it was such a fun family night out. I would highly recommend!

waited about an hour for our table to be cleared from food and drinks. the bartender did not clear our table, i did myself and even wiped the table myself after asking for a rag as she stood behind the bar. patrons outside were bringing their cups that they had stacked because they weren’t being cleared. at one point there was no one behind the bar to serve either. also the calamari was terrible

Xmas Lunch 2024 Absolutely disgusting. Poor Presentation Horrible food. Flys all over the stale bread rolls. Prawns soggy tasteless from sitting in defrosted ice. Undercooked vegetables. Had to search for plates ,cutlery ,utensils all day Understaffed! We had plates just piling up on our table leaving us with no table room to eat. Dessert was set up in a poky corner where everyone had to queue. Not worth the wait just a messy dessert table. Once again no utensils for serving people just using there hands. Runny underwhipped cream. We have eaten Xmas lunch at a lot of venues and this was the worst experience by far.

We just had the most disappointing Xmas lunch in my 58 years. The food was disgusting, the cooked ham was tasteless, the brisket was like leather, the salmon was horrible the scallops where dry and over cooked the prawns where soggy the oysters only just okay the curry was only just okay the vegetables where soggy and disgusting and the dessert was even worse. The pavlova was horrible, and I'm sure it was all the desserts were bought from Cosco or a supermarket, the custard was runny like milk from a carton and tasteless. For $160 I could have gone to Hyatt or Hilton for a far better experience. Most patron's around me felt the same. Very disappointed

What an utter disappointment Christmas lunch was. A total waste of money. Not worth $160 per head... Food was way below average, so many guests were feeling the same. Would have been better value for money and taste if we'd gone to Macca's.

Great little pub. The food was beautiful and came out quickly. Friendly staff. And they have a decent smoking area where you can take your drink and sit. They had a raffle going when you bought a drink, you got a ticket 🎟. Good prizes, too.

We had a very special family reunion/birthday lunch today at the Tavern with almost 40 of us. We couldn't be happier - from the booking correspondence with Ashleigh and Melissa, organising cakes, balloons, etc to the excellent food, beverages, amazingly friendly staff and the endless patience of the lovely Alison taking all of our requested family group photos!! I come to a lot of ALg pubs as I have a discount. And from Currumbin to pimpama. This one is my favourite venue. Robyn who was on the floor today had so much attention to detail which is unheard of in the food industry today. Biggest shock for me she asked after I had a decent amount of bites of my steak if I was happy with the food. I wish more Operarions did this as it’s a place for improvement so people don’t leave negative reviews. But you don’t need that here with the service on offer. Food was quick and great and well priced. I’ll be back.

Lovely atmosphere and staff. We were greeted on arrival and the food was delicious and fairly priced.

Service is absolutely appalling. No care for clients and the speed they serve you is slower than a turtle. Took 8 ppl walking past me at the reception for no one to serve me. I was wanting to book a function after seeing how nice the venue was but won’t be coming here again after my experience with staff.

Celebrated mum's Birthday at the tavern on wed 23/10/24. From the time we walked in to the time we left, we felt like VIP's. The service was 1000% beyond our expectations, staff were super friendly, even gave us a candle for our cake as we forgot to bring our own. Food was also amazing. I have never had such experience even at a 5 star restaurant or hotel. Well done! We have been customers since it opened long time ago but it's only getting better! Thank you so much!

We all agreed at dinner here last night best food in Coomera, the steaks are cooked to your liking and the creme brulees are a family favourite. Chef Kim runs a great kitchen. Jesse great waiter as well .Be back soon y'all!

Great service

Pretty average. Kids meals were really tiny so if your kids are hungry, get adult meals. Chicken schnitzels are very basic, think inghams frozen ones at home. Salad was soaking in a creamy dressing and had been sitting under the heat lamps for too long. Wouldn't return.

my husband and I came to try the tavern out for my birthday. The staff were pleasant and attentive, the environment was inviting and the prices were competitive. The food was delicious and looked appealing, with the whole dining experience being a pleasure.

I had lunch there today with a group. And couldn't fault the food. Everything was cooked beautifully. And a big call out to your Pavlova. Keep doing them they are sensational.. . Will all be back. Great Staff.

Honestly was excited to give this local tavern a go, however the food was extremely bland and the chips and parmi undercooked. Couldn’t even finish it, it was that bad. Unsure if your chefs use any seasoning but salt and pepper at the minimum can go far.

Robyn and Chef Kim recently set up a wake after our Mums funeral nearby. We had about 50 people. They provided us with beautiful platters and a bar tab - kept an eye on the food and provided extra plates for kids and looked after some of our vegetarian guests. Robyn was so kind and helpful and made our afternoon a beautiful one - both of these ladies were outstanding. We also regularly frequent the bistro for lunch - the food is lovely - garlic prawns, beer battered fish (not out of a packet) and a pepper pie are some of our favourites.

We are from interstate and this is the second time we've gone here with family. The playground is awesome with a camera so you can see it from the outside and the steaks are phenomenal. Robyn (the manager) is so so lovely, my 2 year old dropped his ice cream on the floor and we went up to buy another, but she gave him a new one for free with a beautiful and friendly smile. We will keep going back every time we are here. The kids spaghetti is delicious too, both of our kids shared a meal which was also not a problem for them.

Good ambience to view the location.

Main issue was the food. Ordered a pepper steak pie. Well, the pie casing was rock hard and could not be cut with the knife - I’m not exaggerating. Could not be eaten. The potato mash appeared to be frozen stuff you can get at the supermarkets - it had a chalky texture. I know it’s a tavern, but that was well below even those standards. Won’t be eating there again.
