Bunnings Prospect

Bunnings is a walkable distance from my house, as is Costco,and numerous places,both sides of Churchill Road,right down to Grand Junction Road.

Whenever I go to Bunnings and I ask for help, they say go to Aisle _ and they will send a staff member over. I’ll go to the aisle and wait for 5-10 minutes and no one shows up, so I just have to find a random staff member. Pretty frustrating.

Have had a bad experience here when the price did not match what I saw. The staff were not so good on this occasion.

Don't really enjoy shopping at Bunnings anymore.Every second moron has to bring their dog into the store,using trolleys to carry their dog which are supposed to be for customers to store their products.This is not hygienic or child friendly.

Attended this store to hire a carpet cleaner and was denied because all 6 machines were not tested and tagged.

Amazing experience with the girls in gyprock and trade desk the other day. They are so good, highly recommend you seek out these sisters who care about their customers. They did everything for me, I left feeling like I had a personal assistant helping me. Absolutely wonderful staff there. Everyone was happy and genuinely nice. It feels like a different way of doing business now. Back to the good old times, I think.

Opening Timing on Saturdays is 6:30am. Gates are closed and staff saw people are standing outside and they just ignored. Not happy with this 👎🏻

The old woman working at this store working in click and collect on 22/11/24 at 3:35pm needs to retire or find alternative employment, I had a sprain injury and was waiting in the car while someone went in for a click and collect on my behalf with my ID confirmation email with barcode and text message and the lady over the phone said “if she needs her stuff she needs to come in”, if this woman hates her job so much she shouldn’t be working in customer service, alternatively staff at Parafield gardens and Windsor gardens are much more accomodating and understanding and happy to go above and beyond and have been so helpful, honestly worth the drive if it means not dealing with these rude old people here at prospect.

I'm old got diagnosis with cancer 6 years ago . Been on weekly treatment for 19 months. Treatment day sometime things don't work . Forgot my wallet ,came back left part of my order on counter. Round three the young lady severing, was nice helpfully and got me through it . Thanks for being great at your job .

Sorry, but why is everyone working at this store miserable? Seems like it could be a toxic work environment that management should definitely be working on.

When you walk through the entrance and are met by a large dog pulling on a lead and barking menacingly and then see and hear the owner yelling and hitting it, it's time to go back to your friendly, safe, local, hardware store.

Absolutely rude customer service. My friend and I went to return a couple evaporative coolers November 2nd. The two ladies at the counter treated us like fools and mocked us for our reason for our return. I told her the unit isn't strong enough for the room I need and she literally mocked me and rolled her eyes. And my friend told his cashier it didn't come with a remote and isn't working as good as he thought it would and she went off on him about it doesn't come with a remote. (It says it does on box) And belittled him on how this isn't an air conditioner. Obviously we know that. Very unsatisfied with the way these workers treated us.

What can I say...Bunnings is Bunnings... never disappoints

Pretty helpful compared to other bunnings

Did an online special order. No notifications until a message a couple weeks later saying its been there 5 days and so now is cancelled. Tried to call up immediately, got left on hold for ten minutes, then hung up on. Great, thanks all round bunnings

Selected all rude staff in one store. I have bought items from clearance apart from my regular shopping. The staff at self check-out send me to take a photo of the item as it was scanned in full price. Second item was missing bar-code. Third item when she said also not in clearance, I went and took video with the whole box and asked her to assist or call help if she have problem with walking. She called for help soon and one guy Tim" came and pretended as Manager. They all behaved like we are telling lies to get clearance. I have video proof to clear it on my second walk towards clearance isle. She send us back three times for each items"

Waited for 10 minutes for someone to finally come and assist at the cut shop, then waited almost 15 minutes for help at the paint counter. Apparently the staff here don’t actually want to provide customer service. We then got questioned at the till and our pieces of wood checked as the member of staff obviously thought we hadn’t scanned enough and were stealing. The edge of the counter also had a really sharp bit sticking out and snagged my jeans. They’re not cheap, so this just finished off the trip beautifully…

The old lady at the check out counter at the entrance working at 5:40pm today 02/10/2024 was extremely disrespectful to me. She shouted at me as I tried to return the product with receipt I purchased last night. The product was still sealed pack and also provided the receipt that had the information about the item, amount and time of purchase. Instead of calmly escalating by letting me know about where to go for the returns, she shouted at me for not going to return desk. She insulted me publicly. Also, falsely accused me by saying “anyone can get receipts, receipts are not important”. She is elder so I did not react but it doesn’t justify shouting, insulting and falsely accusing the customer even when provided with genuine receipt with barcode so they can scan and tally the item in their system. I too can show my aggression and disrespect her, instead I chose to stay quiet and calm. I feel she was having a bad day that made her shout at me even when I was closer than 1 metre, also my hearing is perfectly fine. Well I am ashamed by her behaviour. They shouldn’t be working if they don’t comply with policy and procedures in terms of treating their customers with dignity & respect. If they cannot control their emotions and aggression, they need to go under training. What a waste of time. Too much illiteracy. I feel pity. I will definitely take this customer experience complaint to next level mind me.

Bunnings Warehouse best for Hardware

Bought something from bunnings and it was out for delivery with Couriersplease but i wasnt at home. I emailed Couriersplease that id like to pick it from their office as i have work on weekdays but chat option was only just a computer prompt replying to general questions, whis is close to being useless. when i sent them an email thru their email option it didnt send at all as they dont accept at all!!! The most infuriating part is the delivery person left my parcel in front of my unit door where not only others pass but exposed to anyone who’d like to get it! Then they emailed that i signed it by the front door??! Liaaaar!

Staff at the return counter was really rude to me. I was unaware that I had to return my item before looking at the other ones to buy as there's no notice signs for customers. Instead of talking nicely so I know next time he was staring and said to me that my item maybe taken from the shelf even I have proof of purchase. Very disappointed.

Bought some wood for a project but needed to borrow a trolley to walk it across the road. The 2 fellas on the gate and the trade desk were a great help and made the experience a great one! Thanks lads!
