I've spent a lot of time and money at this store in 3d printers, fridges and various electronics. The guys here are amazing, any time that I've had a problem they have refunded me straight away or replaced my items with no questions asked. James is an absolute guru when it comes to anything 3d printed or electronics in general and has saved me so much time over the years. I can not fault this store, the new location is amazing and now they have even more available! I'm a very happy customer and will come back time and time again. It's refreshing to see a store run by people that actually have a genuine interest in what they sell!!!

Oh, where do I even start with this absolute circus? Ordered a 75L Brass Monkey Portable Low Profile Dual Zone Fridge/Freezer – you know, the one with wheels and a battery compartment, model GH2036. It’s a marvel of modern convenience, or so I thought. Made the mistake of actually calling them up, like a person from the 20th century, to confirm they had it in stock. “Yes, Mr… , we’ve got your fancy fridge waiting for you!” Brilliant, I thought. So, I added a battery to my order because apparently, I enjoy punishment. Fast forward to pick-up day, I call ahead with the excitement of a child at Christmas, only to find out my prized fridge has vanished. Disappeared. Poof! “Oh, we might’ve sold it, or maybe we just told a little white lie about having it in the first place.” Are you having a laugh? But wait, it gets better. They then have the audacity to tell me, “Oh, just call this number to get your money back.” I’m sorry, I didn’t realize I’d also signed up for a wild goose chase. What is this, a new game show? “Chase Your Money”? I’m sure there’s a hit in there somewhere. And the staff, oh, the staff. If incompetence was an Olympic sport, they’d be gold medalists. It’s like they’re competing to see who can care the least. If you’re thinking of ordering electronics from Jaycar, maybe just throw your money into a pit. It’s less hassle. In conclusion, take your electronics orders back online. At least when a website crashes, it doesn’t pretend it still has what you want in stock. As for Jaycar, it’s a joke, but nobody’s laughing. Well, maybe they are, all the way to the bank with my money. Thanks for not informing me and waiting until I actually wanted to pick up my click and collect order to tell me you didn’t have the item I sent you my few hundred dollars for. Cheers for the adventure, but next time, I’ll take my business to someone who’s not running a circus.

Just went in to get a desoldering wick. A staff lady asked if she could help me. I responded “ oh I know exactly what I’m grabbing” and pointed to it. No sas, nothing, I’m never rude to staff. I walked straight to the counter and paid. As I walked off she responded with “NEXT TIME WITHOUT THE ATTITUDE THANKS”. I was with my 8 year old and it’s his birthday so I just kept walking. Looks like I’ll need a attitude for next time I see her to justify that comment. 3 Jan 1.35pm ish.

Always find service here to be typically nurdish. Know what I mean, they really know what they are talking about so it takes me a while to explain exactly what I want. That's not a complaint they're friendly and nice enough, just nurdish.

Good products and knowledge

No assistance with a security camera I purchased from them that doesn,t work. That's the last time I spend my money there. During covid I,ve been supporting local business. For tech I will go back online in the future.

Duty manager was pretty unhelpful and rude. Jaycar is usually excellent but this one could use a bit of work.

Couldn't have been more thankful to Oppo, Kyle and Jaclyn for all their help when we came in after a saga of problems with another Jaycar store. You guys put so much time and effort into helping us with everything we needed. Kyle thank you for plugging the system in for me and showing me how it works and to make sure it works and Jaclyn for calling and sorting out our receipt issues and Oppo for being such a character which definitely helped our bad moods. I'm sure you can figure out who we are.

I called in to with a dodgy charger for a portable radio thinking that it was a broken wire. I thought that just a new connection was needed and that I could solder it in myself. Kyle offered to test the item, as it had been dropped on a hard surface some days ago, and it tested as being unsafe. My thanks to Kyle for his interest in my problem professional assistance. 😃

A relatively decent store, although staff could be a bit more helpful. Went in looking for something specific, described it where I was told they didn't have anything like that. I decided to look around anyway and found exactly what I was looking for and upon taking it to the counter, the staff member said yeah I thought about that one.""
