I purchased a washing machine on Wednesday and was served by Kym. Kym knew her products very well and was very professional and very happy to help with my inquiries. I received my washing machine today, Saturday and was very happy with Ian who installed it.

Brought a new 75 inch tv, on unpacking did not work. Rang and spoke manager David and Rohit. Nothing but helpful and pleasant gentleman who quickly organised a replacement to be delivered the next day. Very professional and would recommend anyone to use this shop couldn’t be any more impressed. Highly recommend

Edit Jan 2025: Very good customer service. I had a dishwasher delivered and installed and the installer (Lachlan) was amazing! Professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. I would definitely use their installer again. Very friendly staff and good prices: I asked for a price match with an online retailer (catch of the day) and they matched it. Very impressed. I dealt with a large gentleman with a full beard. Didn't catch his name but he was awesome!

I ordered a TV and paid over $2,000 in total. It was meant to be delivered the next day. The sales assistant put in my address to be delivered to another bing lee store?? And when we told him he put the wrong address in, he wouldn’t listen. We told him over and over that he had put the deliver address as another store but he didn’t care and processed the order anyway. When he gave us the invoice it still said it was being delivered to ANOTHER bing lee store. We waited as they tried to fix it and the guy told us it would 100% be delivered the next day for sure and that they had fixed it. I asked him if he was sure and he doubled down saying 100%!! The next day no tv was delivered. I called the store and was told by a really rude woman that it’s not their fault and the delivery guy didn’t put the TV on the truck so I’ll have to wait till Monday or Tuesday. I know the tv was delivered to the other bing lee store as she was also there trying to help the other sales guy fix my address that they messed up the day before. She refused to apologise at all and kept saying it’s not her fault. I never once blamed HER. All I would have wanted from the situation was for her to say “I’m sorry there was a mistake, could we deliver it Monday instead. Sorry for the inconvenience”. All I got was “It’s not my fault, there is no way for me to know”. The customer service is the worst honestly. No one listens at this store and they really don’t care.

I add this only because it's funny. After ordering and receiving a new cooker I found I didn't have any proof of purchase. So I rang up the store and asked for them to email me a receipt. The white lady salesperson sent an invoice that was all zeros . So I rang again. She can't let me finish a sentence , so of course she can't understand what I want. So I ring again. A gentleman picked up. He had a slight accent....showing English wasn't his first language....but he understood me, perfectly, straight away....and emailed the receipt. Thankyou Sir!

I bought a Debot from BingLee Penrith couple of years ago and it was having a lot of issues. Spoke to Rohit and Store Manager David. They spoke to Ecovacs and explained the issues I was having with the machine. Both of them were constantly following up with Ecovacs for a resolution and eventually they got them to agree to return the faulty unit. Five start service from both of them.

Rang to ask a question and the lady I spoke to was incredibly rude. I was going to come into the store and purchase but wanted to confirm with the store before driving over. Won't be coming in store now.

Went to buy an oven, the Bing Lee staff were great so we purchased one and ask for installation we were advised this is done by a third party who is paid directly. Well things went down hill from there, the installer contacted us confirming dates and times, then a couple of hours before they were due, they contacted us to say Bing Lee didn't have the oven in stock. So I went to Bing Lee again the staff were great, and a new installation time was organised. The installers came out Pulled the old oven out and put it in their van then told us they do not modify the panel or even cut a hole in the new panel we had ready we had to organise that our selves, they then said to call them to come back to finish, while leaving us without cooking facilities (power turned off and bare wires just pushed back into the wall) and charged us a call out fee. So we organised the new panel to be cut and installed ourselves at our cost. Once this was done we eventually managed to contact the installer to get them back, we were initially told it would be days but when I mentioned the unsafe wiring they came out within a couple of hours. So at this point we have cut the panel to install the oven, they came back connected the wiring, out a few wood screws into the oven not the colour matched ones supplied, did not set up the oven. But turned on the lights and took pictures. They were going to leave all the packaging for the new oven until I insisted, but the still charged the full install fee as well even though we had to get some one else to do most of the work. They are not installers but swappers, Bing Lee should really sort this out before it gives them a really bad name.

Went in to buy one item, difficult from the get go. Have to take all your details just to make a purchase , this took 5 mins. Then wanted to pay with zip money which I use all the time in various shops without difficulty. Staff couldnt work out how to use it, older lady on desk spoke to me like i was an inconvenience to her, needs to be trained on customer service skills. Left without my purchase went straight to good guys bought the item with no issues just a simple transaction. Will go straight to good guys next time.

Went in two weeks ago because our Nespresso machine decided it was a good day to die, I had been researching new machines for months and had settled on a Philips 4300. Walked in, found what I wanted and that's when I was greeted by May. I had some questions about our form of payment and she wasn't sure but spoke to Lachy and we got there in the end. They didn't try and upsell me to a higher model and didn't try and push the extra warranty" on me either. Great experience !"

Gone are the days when customer service was a thing. You go to places with great products like bing lee, only to be discouraged to buy anything by the poor customer service from staff who look like they don't want to be there.

I went in 25 July around 11pm there was two staff one fella was helping another customer I roamed around and some blonde lady staff member didn't even look alive i was metres away from her looking around like a squirell looking for a nut it was obvious i needed help yet there was not a thought between those eyes they were paying her far too much a mannequin would be cheaper poor bearded bloke did one customer and came over to serve me after

Won’t give a refund if the product has been used and you’re not happy with it

NOT RECOMMENDED to buy from this shop. If item has issue BING LEE fail to sort it out. I’m bothered from last 4 months still pending

Don't go here often but every time I've been there it's been a good experience with plenty of staff. Always trying to better pricing and are very competitive

Staff where friendly and prices where great got an Acer nitro 5 16gb ram 500gb ssd 4gb graphics 1000$ Spent 170$ got a 1tb ssd and another 16gb ram(on the internet) less then 1200$ for an awesome gaming computer that can stream sc2 or overarching and play with no skipping Much love bing Lee

I bought a refrigerator that can only be used for more than 10 months and there is a problem. I have been waiting for a fix for a month and it has not been fixed even though it has a 3 year warranty.

So disappointed when I went to pick up My washing machine, gate locked from carport then told to go back on to regentville Rd, no signals for pick ups, store Guy was very polite and helpful, front counter staff need training on how to treat customers. WILL NOT BUY FROM YOU AGAIN, RUDE,DISINTERESTED STAFF , I'm fine buying elsewhere.

I had been looking for a cake tin for my new Philips Daily Airfryer. It has been difficult for finding accessories for this particular model as most companies sell products for the XXL range. Had to ring bing lee ( Thornton ) and do a click and collect order due to lock down in newcastle. The person on the phone took me all the way through it and made sure it was done. Then received an email when it was ready and rang the store and they come out to the car and had a few security questions to make sure it was for us and it was done. So helpful will definitely be back there. Thanks bing lee Thornton.
