Found just past T A MAXX, and uneasily seen, but entered from the foot path. Very kindly staff. Quick and efficient in what they do. Eager to help and please. Loved the experience.
i have applied for CRN and applied for online account but didn’t receive account number. What should I do?
After being stuck in traffic for 45min to get there I waited another 45min before I got up and left because my kids were getting too cranky and I estimate I was going to be another hour or more. Not an inclusive place if you have to try and do something while looking after your children and your day off. Nothing there was happening with any apparent urgency. Will go back and try again with no kids, my AirPods and a movie to watch. Maybe if I turn up 30min before closing time they might be working a bit more urgently to get people through.

I went here to get my license transferred and it went so smoothly. Bianca was an angel and helped me, both with her great humor and mood but also with getting it all sorted easily.

I was hesitant to go in with my son who has special needs to arrange an ID card as most places are not very understanding of his complexities, nor are they very inclusive. I can only say that I have never in my life experienced such wonderful service. They went above and beyond to help us make this so easy for us. We were shown such enormous respect which is sadly lacking among many other services. Thank you 🙏🙌

Absolutely disgusting how they treat young kids going for there license these days make up false appraisals to make them fail. will ask you questions as ur going past a new speed sign to distract you and then fail you for not observation will fail you for going 2km over will fail u for going to slow saying ur holding up traffic u really can’t win unless u get a driver in a good mood will accuse you of hitting the cure they honestly need to be filmed these driving instructors and then fail you for nothing make young kids pay the government 70$ every time they go for a test when most 17yr are earning 12$ they need to get ride of that old driving instructor at Burleigh he’s impatient tells me to read something on the wall after reading 5 word out of a whole page he says hurry up he was having a fight with young girl 10mims prior to taking me for my test I don’t know if he was in a bad mood because of that but he was very inpatient
Blonde lady with half bob was very rude
I had such a pleasant experience here. It’s typical to dread these places, but I was treated so kindly by all the staff. They were very speedy (I arrived at 4:20pm and was out the door by 4:35pm all taken care of). The 3 staff members I spoke with were very kind and friendly and super sweet to my toddler. Loved it! Thanks guys!
“I had my Ps test today at 2:50. My instructors name was Tony. He was extremely hostile and made rude comments as i was driving, i would except that during a legal test that the instructor would just give me proper instruction's and not talk down to me as i’m taking my test. I found this very unprofessional and he made it an extremely unpleasant and stressful experience.”

I had Maggie today and she was friendly and incredible. Helped me with the couple things I had to do. Pretty sure I had her earlier on in the year too. If not whoever it was was also extremely helpful.

Slow, as expected
I visited Burleigh Waters Queensland Transport today, and I must say, it was the best experience I've had yet. Little Lisa, who assisted me, went above and beyond to ensure I left with a positive outcome. Her persistence and patience were truly commendable, and she handled everything with a smile. The level of customer service provided by Lisa and the team was simply outstanding. I highly recommend this branch for their exceptional service.
Except for computer being down which delayed us all. Very busy. But once working again good service
Just had one the most awful experiences today. Tried to get my MR license, the inspector from the beginning was up to no good. Did not even say hi and for sure never drove a truck before!! Another shame service in Australia. Better standards please Ps. I just found few bad reviews from this guy here!! Tony!!! Be aware people

I had an exceptional experience at the TMR office in Burleigh Waters during my driving test. From the moment I walked in, the warm smiles and helpful demeanor at the help desk immediately put me at ease. The test officer who guided me through the process was incredibly nice, making sure I felt comfortable and relaxed, which really helped alleviate my stress. Not only was the testing officer kind and patient, but their clear and concise communication ensured I understood everything thoroughly. The overall atmosphere was pleasant and supportive, which made a nerve-wracking experience surprisingly enjoyable. A huge thanks to the entire team for their professionalism, kindness, and support. I couldn’t have asked for a better testing environment. Kudos to everyone involved for their excellent service and for making what could have been a stressful experience, a smooth and pleasant one. Highly recommended!

I was super lucky to have your incredible anthony as my driving instructor today for the second time. He did not fail to impress last time with his amazing service, by not even introducing himself and being blatantly rude. Today i could tell he’s just another one of them corrupt driving “instructor”s who does not even seem to be qualified for the job. I had to wait 25 minutes just for him to show up and cancel my entire driving test apparently because my back tire was “worn out”. I don’t even know if i can take his word for the refund but i wish i got a refund for the time i wasted waiting for his professionalism to show up.
From reception to the help in resolving the transfer of driver licenses and registration to QLD, we received friendly, efficient and expert service. Nothing was too much trouble. Real 5 star service from people who cared.

Abysmal waiting for Godot existential purgatory. I took my elderly mother who is incontinent to get her replacement ID And they have NO BATHROOM here, not only in the govt place but the ENTIRE COMPLEX. Also they don’t give any EXPRESS PASS for elderly and infirm senior citizens. Like any big nanny state govt institution avoid like the plague. Photo is a typical example of “counter closed” style service. I’d say the industry is ripe for disruption but it’s the labor government. Staff so far are fine but ineffective as they are essentially stripped of any power , such as getting my mum to the front of the line. Let alone a portapotty for emergencies outside.

you go and sit there for ages and finally get called up to the counter to find that they cant help you because they will only take certain documentation that we dont have.

absolutely seamless the few times i've been here (changed my NSW licence to a QLD one, plus renewed my licence)
Horrible experience to bring my overseas drive licence, even some steps they need call superiors to simple make me able to do the tests, visited 7x times during the process, many times they were busy
Was told in order to have my instructor with me for the whole practical driving test I need to go in person and show proof and that I could lose my money of they say no than went in person and was told I just need to book it and email the manager about it than called and said they can just book it and write in the notes that I need my instructor with me. Tmr here really dosent seem to know what there doing. I was told false info twice, does noone communicate how do they not know what I have to do. There always super passive aggressive too

The security guard at the burleigh waters department of transport what a lovely guy making sure everthing was running smoothly even put a young mum through with a restless toddler so professional made the visit tolerable and the lady at number 1 desk helped me 10 outta 10 such a nice change

Bad costumer service. They really need to be trained for working with the public, there is huge lack of patience, sensitivity, and cultural safe services. I feel disrespected most of the time I had to enter in this office, and it is a shame for a country that promote integration of cultures.
Most embarrassing experience, they don't have patience, but works as customer service staff. Please understand that public are also humans like you.
I have a very very good experience today (18 Jan 2022), at Counter 10 with the lady who help me with the vehicle transfer application. I didn’t manage to get her name but I’m very assured her professionalism, helpful and friendly attitude towards all my questions I had. I would like to give her a triple 👍🏻👍🏻 👍🏻.
Warm and friendly welcome which was quickly ruined by a frosty and grumpy interaction with the ladies on the photos...I’m hoping it was just a bad day for them and they don’t take their misery out on others all the time. All that a side the job was done efficiently and effectively!
Jeremy, Anthony, the guy on the door and the receptionist were the most friendly and efficient staff. I was there to change rego and licence and they couldn't be more helpful. Well done guys. Had to go back to register my daughters car. Again was met with professional courteous and just friendly service. A big shout out to Jodie who was just wonderful. Thanks guys.
The department of transport located at burleigh is a great facility. It is on the smaller side and would gain benefits from a larger establishment like the one in currumbin. Still a great amount of staff constantly working allowing to make it a quick and easy process. Swapped my rego over after purchasing my car and attached my personalised plates within 30 minutes. Keep up the great work.
The worst government department I’ve had the misfortune to visit
I experienced very professional customer service recently at this branch and Mindy went out of her way to assist me. There was a bit of a line but it moved quickly and before I knew it I was done. Thank you!

Staff are very unpleasant.
A smile. A simple smile. Kindness goes a long way in this world. I observed multiple grumpy staff on my last visit. And, it not only makes the recipient feel great, but the sender will reap the rewards also. Potentially finding purpose and enjoyment in their employment, and at a long shot, might get a tiny bit of happiness in their cold lump of coal for a heart.

Corrupt driver instructors, rude behavior, I don’t recommend to book your test here. They just fail you to make you sit your test again just for money.I recommend to have a dash cam to record your driving test and then complain to the relevant authorities. They are purely scammers

Just been into qld transport burleigh waters to renew my registration. And just had the best service from a lady called Liz. If you need anything done this is the person to go to in this center. So nice to deal with someone in public service that has such nice personality.

Friday I needed to obtain my Traffic Record so I drove over to transport and main roads at Burleigh waters I was inside within ten minutes the service from the Gentleman at first contact was just brilliant and then the lady who got me my records was just fabulous thanks for the service .
Wonderful friendly helpful staff, from the Security man on the door to receptionist and the counter staff. All smiling and pleasant and obviously enjoy their workspace. Thank you all. 6/10/2020

Absolutely disgusting attitude by the woman renea at the front counter. I greeted her with a smile and a warm welcome and received nothing more than a grunt in return. Short replies when I was seeking to clarify the process of renweing registration. Obviously it must be soul draining to work in a place like dot. But a simple smile goes a long way. Would give it 0 stars if possible. First impressions always last. Never again will I return that fowl looking woman. I'd rather drive an extra 15 minutes to another location than ever lay eyes on that grumpy cow again. Boggles my mind that people acting in such manner hold onto their jobs.

Some cranky staff here .. But I guess they get a lot of annoyed customers.
These guys are really friendly and full of genuinely happy staff. They actually take time to see what they can do and think outside the box. I felt welcomed and was greeted with smiles all the way through. Perhaps they could teach the Helensvale staff a thing or 50, about customer service! Speaking of which, I used to go to the Helensvale office- who are full of poker face, bad attitude staff that make you feel like a prison inmate.
My experience at Burleigh Waters a couple of time. It amazing. They were very friendly and helpful. Thank you all staff.
