Wow, what a great place to eat .I didn't say there, but we had dinner perfect

Amazing food! Hubby was very impressed! Best steak he’s had in years! Will definitely be back.

We went a train trip from Albury to Wagga return and part of our ticket price was a 2 course meal … meal was wonderful and dessert was just beautiful

The Pub itself was Great, food was good Staff very good, apart from not having Tooheys New on Tap that part of of our stay was good, but go to the accommodation I rate it a minus 5 I would never stay there again or recommend it to anyone. The 2 bedroom apartment was advertised as perfect for a romantic getaway no it's not. It could do with a couple of coats of paint and new flooring to start, The Lounge Room dining area had stained dirty carpet, an old Lounge that had blankets over it to hide huge tears in it. Tea and Coffee making facilities was a jug in 1 corner of the room on a bench, dirty coffee cups and stale tea, coffee and sugar in the other corner next to a fridge. Dirty old table and chairs. Then the bedrooms stained sheets on one bed other bed were dirty lucky it was as warm so we slept on top of the covers. 2 fans in the apartment,1 pedestal fan with a leg missing so couldn't use the other room the fan doesn't work at all. Stained carpets in both rooms. The bathroom was OK nothing great only half a roll of toilet paper luckily we brought our own. The Hallways where dark, stinky , we had to go past Rubbish outside 1 room for 2 days before someone moved it. The staircase balustrade was loose. If that wasn't enough we were charged $250 a night for it. Never Again

Located at town centre, less than 100 meters away from main shopping street. Room & facilities are pretty worn & tired. Suitable for travelers with tight budget.

This is a pub with limited accommodation. The food and drink options are very good.

I am not sure about the rooms, but I can attest to the bistro. The food we had there was excellent and only surpassed by the friendly and professional nature of the staff in the bistro. The new renovations have certainly improved the overall feel and presentation of the bistro area. Certainly recommend a meal here!

If I could give it negative stars, I absolutely would. Loud music vibrates the room on a Saturday night. Wish they'd warned me before we found out at 11pm. Drove 2hrs back home during the middle of the night after explaining its impossible to sleep here.

I won't say we were disappointed. I will say that it was not as good as expected. I believe the pub was refurbished recently. Nice venue. The food was pub food. Prices were above average, value for money is not great. Though the meals were ok, they weren't what we should've got for the $$$. Steak was good, though half was grissel. The Dianne sauce is not Dianne sauce. It's tomato sauce and cream. Cannot compare the quality here with the quality at city venues. Significant difference. Maybe the locals are ok with it. They're making their money back for the reno's, the drink prices are $$$. Service was, bluh. Our hotel manager recommended this venue for a good meal. I'll be advising them maybe not.

An absolute joke of a place to stay. Fantastic meal but very average service to interstate visitiors. Truly atrocious rooms. Looked nothing how the rooms are advertised online, the bar fridge was broken and moldy, the bathroom walls were nearly completely painted peeled, the room was provided to us with an unusable broken fan. The air con vent was so thick with dust it barely worked and I had to clean it by hand myself as it was setting off my athsma. The carpets were filthy and unclean. There we multiple power points that were damaged to the point one was hanging from the wall. The shower supplies were stuck to flimsy holders that were taped to the tiles There was soap scum in the shower but that seems minor in comparison. If you’re going to renovate the pub, maybe renovate the rooms at the same time. Would not stay here ever again, would not recommend to my worst enemy.

we went here for 21st birthday dinner all our meals were cold when I took 2 oout of 5 meals back the staff were not friendly when they came back 2l1 was like they microwaved it as was soggy chicken bites and the mixed grill was just refried and dry not happy then would look out the window from the bar to us on the beer garden shaking their heads when Bella came out ro clear the table next to us she shook her head at us with a smirk asked her what the problem was she said I don't know why your complaining you only had to wait half an hour for our meals to which my response was it wasn't the wait it was that all our meals were cold. we will not be going back there again We should of listened to other people when they said not to go there I can understand why.

Great renovations and great service. Highly recommend the beer garden for dinner.

Pretty disappointed after eating here recently. The renovation looks beautiful however an area for the kids inside would have been a nice touch. Very hard to supervise the kids in the play area that’s been built as it’s tucked into a corner out of site of any tables. The food was the over all let down. I ordered a salad and the chicken was extremely dry and had no flavour. The salad itself was wilted and didn’t seem fresh. Dressing was clearly not house made and tasted like artificial flavours and plastic. Kids meals were overcooked with shrivelled nuggets and chips. My husband had a burger that he wasn’t happy with either and said he wouldn’t return. Which is a shame because we were really looking forward to checking out the new renovations and having a new local. Investing in a qualified chef maybe the way to go. Staff however were friendly.

Delicious steaks

Very disappointed . We attended a dinner on a Friday night and the noise in the bistro was terrible. No one could hear what was being said and had to practically scream at each other to be heard. The lack of ambience was non existent, may as well sit in a barn, it would be more cosy. Why can’t The pubs create an atmosphere more like the English pubs where you can sit and enjoy your food in a quiet relaxed atmosphere instead of a sterile noisy room. Also the food was pretty ordinary, same old pub meals with no imagination at all.

Accommodation very basic. Shared bathroom, very old so hand basin in room. Luxurious sheets & towels. Public areas freshly & beautifully renovated, brand new furnishings. Giant screen in outdoor area. Friendly helpful staff. 🙂

Meals are good price and great taste

My second visit to the willian farrer hotel and this time it was for lunch. The food was awesome, yummy and tasty, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The dining area was roomy and very clean and tidy. Thank you, guys. It was an amazing experience.

Overall just waste of my money.

After driving interstate with two children I arrived at the hotel to check into my room, only to find out they didn’t even book me in. I called twice to confirm and even had my card details taken. They didn’t book me in and didn’t even have the room available anymore. They only had a different room to put me in for the night with a shared bathroom, and didn’t have a room secured for the next two nights. The photos online are misleading, the room was disgusting, super old, dirty linen. The room and hallway smelt of cigarettes. I was lucky to be able to stay with family in the area on a couch with my kids, because even that was a nicer experience.

Underwhelming at best. Hoping to see something special after the renovations we were just disappointed at the whole look. In fact we wondered if anything had changed. Certainly not the men’s toilets ! The meals were hit and miss , my pasta was ok but the wife’s was rubbish, cold soggy chips and the dodgy looking heart shaped very dry schnitty. I don’t get the “membership” thing in a hotel with two tier pricing system. Leave that to the clubs

No soap no WiFi no bathroom mats rooms is very outdated fan missing a blade toilet bowl yellow stains throughout cobwebs ADVERTISING IS MISLEADING as the rooms are definitely no where near as nice not worth the money will definitely not stay here again
