Great outdoor area, sheltered from the sun and the wind where you can listen to live music enjoying a wine and lovely food.

Delicious, fresh food as always. Staff were friendly and efficient. We ordered from the table and the service was quick and friendly. Meals were exactly as ordered. We'll be back of course.

Came in here for first time ever for lunch, got a couple beers and some food, lad behind the counter in a green button up (Thomas) gave me some recommendations on which beer to go for and the food was on point. Couldn’t ask for anything better. Have recommended my friends come here already.

The Lucky Squire lives up to its Sydney reputation and with a modern multicultural staff and highly professional security team, the Broady Squires is the place to go! The waygu sirloin is simply amazing and you will have new taste sensations devouring it with Pepper gravy! Thank you for turning my trip around with your service and quality 😊

We love the atmosphere and food at the lucky squire. Simple food done well. The chefs always take the time to prepare food to satisfy dietary requirements.

Enjoyed my pint (or two) of Lashes. Pub was busy enough in the outside (covered) area and quiet inside. But good to hear Chloe singing her stuff.

The waiting service was TOO LONG. The drinks were alright but the time was way too long. I was starving at the time I went to the lucky squire but it still took a WHOLE HOUR. By the time the food came over, the kids were already crying from hunger and since they were hungry for too long, when they finished the food, their stomachs hurt for the rest of the holiday.

We love this pub because besides the great atmosphere, service, wonderful food they also love having you bring your dog and provide a water bowl and the odd treat when we go there. It is so relaxed and wonderful. I am still impressed with the way when the skies opened up, they triggered the overhead canopies to spring into place and then the staff were there instantly mopping up the water and putting everything back in place ( and dry) Phillipe is an amazing manager and cares about the service that he provides. We love having chats with him about his home country Brazil. The other special staff include Emily, Camilla, Leticia and Bentley. Camilla is our special waitress and doubles as ‘Dog Manager’. Our dog Jack loves her and she is very special to us. Love this place. It makes staying at Broadbeach extra special.

The qr menu did not warn us of the wait time and we had to wait an hour for our meals. We asked the staff multiple times where our food was and they said it was ‘next up’. It was not in fact next up, and we watched other tablets get their meals. Food was fine but incredibly expensive for what it was. Good location but very disappointing - will not be coming back.

would not recommend this place for anything walked in told to sit at any table that wasn't reserved then we're told that by a staff member that he would be back with menus only to wait 15min with other been seated and given menus and served drinks so after 15min I had enough of waiting I give them a 0 for service if it was an option

Awesome place and great service! Many thanks to the manager Felipe tha organised a table for me so quickly and took his time to explain all the dri ks available. For sure is one of the top 5 venues in th GC. Back here very soon.

Guys even if it is before Christmas Eve, one bar woman did not want to be there or help us with beer recommendations, the other gentleman was fantastic and helpful with everyone I could see. The food guys…was very disappointing, burger I don’t recommend, patties taste like sausage meat, Parma average, only good dish was the calamari. For the money I spent, I’ll only be drinking beer there.

Staff were more than accomodating and so incredibly kind. They were truly willing to go above and beyond to make our night enjoyable and easy, I truly cannot commend the staff enough for their efforts and I thank them kindly. Major props to the two young men that served us this evening.

Had my 40th dinner here, the management made it very easy to have what I wanted. They do have group packages (with price per head), but I opted just for an open menu and Bar tab. Was easy to set up a group order on the App which made it easy for everyone to choose what they wanted. Then wristbands for the open bar tab. Food was amazing and great value for money, all my guests where impressed. Saturday night and there was minimal wait at the bar as it was fully staffed, making it quick and easy to get a drink. Highly recommended

Really enjoyed this place until I ordered a Coke and there was alcohol in it. Not only am I on quite a bit of medication that I’m not aloud to drink on but also this experience gave me a lot of anxiety. What if a child had this? When confronting the manager and bartender, they didn’t even apologise.

The manager, Bentley, was extremely lovely to my group of friends and I, which enganced our experience. I loved the fact that there were so many localy brewed beers to choose from. We ordered one dish between all of us, which was a steak with a cream sauce. The meat was tender and juicy. I wish I would have known the bar way before leaving the Gold Coast!!

How can a 'brewery' get ginger beer so wrong. A tip to the staff....please don't serve anything that you wouldn't drink yourself. Atmosphere is really lacking on the off season. It is good when there are events are in the area. Don't order the ribs. The sauce is sickening. The place has good potentia as it has a really good layout.

Service was abysmal, food came out cold.

My husband and I stumbled into the Lucky Squire for lunch—our usual trips here are more ‘hydration-focused,’ if you catch my drift. But today, we decided to stick around and try the food. Hubby went for the prawn pizza, and I braved the half-grilled chicken. Let me tell you, I loathe charcoal chicken with a passion, but I figured it was time to live dangerously and not just order yet another salad. Hubby was practically serenading his pizza—something about the pesto base being life-changing. As for my chicken? Juicy doesn’t even cover it. It was so good I forgot I hated charcoal anything. The pickles on the side were genius since there’s no sauce (but who needs it with chicken this good?). And the veggies? Let’s just say I’m still dreaming about them. Honestly, we’re confused about why this place doesn’t have a higher rating. We heard there’s a new chef, and if this meal is any indication, they deserve a standing ovation. We’ll be back soon—for drinks (obviously) but also for another round of this magic.

Hi, we held our staff Xmas party here on Sat 2 Nov. We all had an amazing time. This is a fantastic venue. From the initial contact with Chris, who helped me with organising a party for 40 people, to the evening of, with Thomas the manager helping make sure the evening ran smoothly, I cannot praise this team and their staff enough. The service, food and drinks were 5 stars 🌟 all the way. We ordered the Rascal Platter and it did not dissappoint, such a variety of food and everyone loved all the dishes. Delicious, I highly recommend. There was live music all evening. Getting a drink at the bar was quick and easy, considering how busy the venue was. The whole evening flowed perfectly. Thank you again for a taking such good care of us.

Lovely food, easy to book, and the few staff working were good, particularly the young gentleman working the bar. However the payment processing fees are freaking ridiculous. Charging $11.31 (our order was over $350) on top of the items ordered even though we, the customer, had to order online and are made to pay the same way is ludicrous. And then were prompted to tip? Which we would usually do generously, as we appreciate great service, at the end of the meal.

I have visited The Lucky Squire a few times, each time the service is exceptional. Friendly staff, fast service. My visit this time was during Groundwater, a very busy time, the staff continued their professional and friendly manner. The meals have always been fresh quality, delicious and priced competitively. A special mention to Philipè and Tay, you both went above and beyond to ensure my night was enjoyable. Thank you 😊

I didn't leave a star for food since we didn't eat, rather we came to enjoy the country music festival playing within the venue. There was a decent crowd creating a great atmosphere, the artist covered all of the classics, the beer was cold and delicious and the service was great.

I had a wonderful experience camila was exceptional and the staff were friendly and attentive. The food was delicious and arrived promptly. Highly recommend for a great dining experience!

I've been to the venue a few times and finally decided to do a review. Such a good place to be with your friends to have a couple of beers and some food. Price is average, pizzas are good and the service is nice. All the staff members are always smiling and open to help when we needed. Manager has such a good vibe as well. I’ll definitely keep going there with my friends.

Don’t waste your time or money here! The told us the food was going to be 40min (that was fine) then the manager kept making excuses “another 5 mins” blah blah blah over 1hr later the food finally came out the children were over it by then, the food was rushed and undercooked. The Staff weren’t helpful what so ever.

Worst experience ever. 4 adults and 4 small kids came in for dinner, the wait was over an hour for the food, and the service was terrible. My steak with still mooing. When we kept asking where our food was and how long it was going to be, the manager kept saying it’s next and only 5 mins. This was said multiple times. Don’t waste your money and time coming here

Service was fine the best onion rings I ever had not oily

We came here with 4 adults and 4 small kids, the wait was over 1 hour long, they told us they would refund us for the kids food and the refund never came through. To top it off when our friends food came the steak was pretty much raw. Terrible food and service. Would not recommend this place.

Bar team was great, food was tasty and atmosphere was perfect with the live musician.

Consistently good every time I come here. We live in Grafton and travel up to the Gold Coast regularly and we always ensure we make time to drop in for food and beers. The Food, beer, the people, excellent 5 stars all day everyday ! !

Great atmosphere thanks to live music by Alex Bowen. Prices are good/standard. Food was delish, although I found a piece of plastic in my vermicelli salad (pictured). Wait time was 50mins for our meal, but we were warned at time of ordering via the QR code. Staff were friendly and prompt with clean up. Dined on a Friday night without a booking.

Hosted a function at The Lucky Squire and it was excellent. Everything was good: the location, the atmosphere, the food but the standout was the staff: they were excellent!

We hosted two functions recently at the Lucky Squire as part of the Life Saving World Championships. Thomas was amazing, so accommodating. We were able to use the space we needed, the speaker system for speeches and even put up flags and posters. The outside area was fantastic for what we needed. Thanks so much. Would definitely return here again and highly recommend to anyone.

Had the pleasure of attending a 21st birthday here. Bentley was the sole bartender for the entire event and was fantastic! Highly recommend for anyone looking for a private function space - great food and great atmosphere

My husband and I had our wedding recovery at the Lucky squire for about 40ish people. The team organised tables for us and we had an excellent time. The food was good and there is a huge selection of drinks. A group of us stayed well after our booking had ended and the staff looked after us really well. We really appreciate it!

My partner and I attended this venue tonight and left disappointed. When ordering via the QR code, we were alerted that there would be a 40 minute wait which we were understanding of (the venue was about half full). We waited over an hour and ten minutes for our meals and the food was satisfactory (barely warm, quite basic). What was the most disappointing part of the night however was that as we were leaving, a staff member apologised to the patrons at the table next to us for making them wait (no longer than we waited) and offered them a round of drinks on them. We were left wondering why this was only offered to particular people?! We would not return here.

I held a reception at Lucky Squire in Gold Coast and I was really pleased with the service and attention from the staff. The space was great, everyone enjoyed the drinks and food (lots of great choices) - the event went much longer than planned b/c everyone was enjoying themselves so much.
