Took my 10 and 8 yr old nieces to Akira on Chapel St for the first time and we loved it! Kids had so much fun, struggled to get them out. Karlin, who was working there, was so amazing and kind and extremely attentive. His customer service rates 11 out of 10! We can't wait to go back. Thanks for a wonderful fun filled time Karlin!

got so many cute little guys and the staff was super nice, all the claw machines were probably the most fair ones i’ve played and you can even trade for really good stuff was so fun. Guy working there even gave us a free bag to use 100% going back again

We went to Akira for the first time on our trip to Melb. Spent $120, we managed to take home 6 items. What a fun experience and bargain. We will be back when visiting Melb in the future, staff member was friendly and a great help.

I usually love arcades but didn't understand this place. 80% claw machines and a tiny selection of actual arcade games. No drinks/food or bar. The lighting and aesthetics were cool so hopefully the venue improves over time.

This place is super cute. From the LED lights to the cool LifeSize Zoro figurine and the decent payout rate for the claw machines. I also liked their music games like the popular drum one you see everywhere.

Great place to bring friends and family. The prizes are super fair and the owner is really friendly and helpful. Will definitely be visiting again.

Definitely the best arcade we have been to so far and we have probably been to most of them in Brisbane and Melbourne. Interior decor and atmosphere is great. The staff are really friendly and accommodating too! The machines are also really reminiscent of those in Japan (only place we have found with UFO catchers!) with a great win rate and lots of cool anime prizes! The trade-in system is also a pretty great idea as well. Will definitely be back next time in Melbourne as it is easily our favourite arcade now.

Love it here!! Finally, a place that has the games that we could only find in Japan. The hit rate is good and they have a cool trading system so you can trade in prizes for points or other plushies/prizes that was in the same machine. See you again soon when we visit from Brisbane!
