Overall a great venue. The rooms are a bit tired and bed was really firm but staff, service and food were excellent.

Beautiful hotel situated in Richmond... For those who don't know Melbourne... Like I don't... It means super close to the city (10 mins) but also away from the hustle and bustle. And actually has ample onsite parking. The service is friendly and familiar, the facilities clean and smelling great. The price reasonable for the area and inclusions more than adequate. The tram stop is directly out front and there is another beautiful laneway of pub across the street ( not to mention every food from every country near by) I went for a king spa and it was a beautiful layout it I'm sure all their rooms are beautiful since getting to meet the housekeeping staff. Don't be fooled by the wokies of Melbourne... It is a nice hotel despite anything that others say.

Beautiful lobby, amazing service, tasty food and drink. Well priced and well located just outside the city but not too far. Walking distance to many shops. Will be back for sure.

Room was clean and tidy and well maintained. Brekky was yum. Hotel was close to the Yarra river, shops and eateries. We had a large king bed so plenty of room. Tea/ coffee well stocked. Balcony was a pleasant spot for drinks and snack or to sit and read. We would stay again.

The room was spacious with everything we needed for an overnight stay (for rest and relaxation).||Bed was super comfortable; pillows were fabulous; sofa wonderful to sit on and put your feet up; bar fridge big enough for all we needed; plenty of storage space; a variety of tea and even hot chocolate sachets! plenty (or as little) lighting to our preference; perfect air con for a hot day; bathroom well supplied with toiletries, soft toilet paper, and the most beautiful big and fluffy towels; walk-in shower had the right temperature and pressure …. perfect!||Everything was clean and well presented.||Add to that the great little balcony with table and (sturdy) chairs - the best place to sit and eat our meals - the availability of ice for our cold drinks, a guest laundry and gym if required, food and beverages available on site (at reasonable prices too), safe and secure parking for our car, and, the central location with a tram stop at the door, you have the best place to stay to suit all your needs.||||The only “improvements” I would make would be a handrail in the shower as the tiles are very slippery (particularly with the addition of soaps/shampoos) so the risk of a fall is significant for those with mobility issues and||the toilet is so close to the wall that, because the toilet roll holder is also there, we had to take the toilet roll off to avoid knocking it on the floor.||Perhaps moving the toilet over, even 10cms, could be something to consider in future renovations/maintenance to make it more comfortable for all guests, after all, there is plenty of room to do so!

The hotel was of a high quality as expected. I did not use the hotel parking or the food options. I chose the hotel on location only to be close to family members. In that respect it worked out very well. There are many restaurants on Bridge Street and a tram to the city

Had Christmas lunch here, and was fantastic! All the staff were on point, our table had full glass the whole time, and our empty plates cleared almost immediately. I work in hospitality and had anxiety for you guys knowing how hard is it to pull off a day like Christmas lunch, but all the staff nailed it. What stood out for me was my wife had a lot of dietaries and you accommodated all of them when you simply could have said it’s buffet pick out what you can, I really thank you for that. Also the personalised presents for the kids was a beautiful touch. Our whole table had a great time and we are all raving about it to everyone we know. So thank you for the great day!

Good value for money, just avoid the breakfast!

I recently stayed (3rd of December was my checkout)at amora hotel river walk and while most aspects of my stay were satisfactory, I had an extremely disappointing experience with one of the reception staff members, Michael. When I went to collect a package, I was met with disrespectful behavior that left me feeling unwelcome. His tone was dismissive and unprofessional, which is not what one would expect at an establishment that prides itself on hospitality. And he even falsely accused me for having pershible items . When I spoke to the duty manger on checkout he was laughing at me as if it was a joke to him raising this concern. What was even more disheartening was the apparent discriminatory attitude displayed. As an individual of Asian descent, I couldn’t help but feel that my ethnicity influenced the way I was treated. Such behavior is unacceptable in any setting, let alone in the hospitality industry, which should promote inclusivity and respect. I hope the hotel takes this feedback seriously and provides the necessary training to ensure all guests are treated with the respect they deserve, regardless of their background

Excellent hotel with a good restaurant. Loved the buffet breakfast. Stayed here as had a business meeting close by. The room was comfortable and the Staff were very efficient and friendly. My only comment is that the hotel is cashless and take payment by credit card but then charge a small surcharge which is not ideal. Having said that we will come back.

The hotel is in a good location for Melbourne - it is within walking distance of the MCG as well as a railway station whilst the tram stops almost outside. The rooms could do with updating with the addition of USB points next to the bed. The shower needs a mat as well - although one can be requested.

Staff are friendly and helpful.|Rooms were spacious with comfortable beds.|Enjoyed hotel meals at breakfast and dinner. Also, some good alternative food options nearby.|Easy access from the airport (same as CBD).|Facilities not brand new but are in very good condition

I just loved everything about this hidden gem and I mean EVERYTHING from the check in, the food and catering and the housekeeping. The rooms were a pleasant surprise to boot. Happy customer here. Thank you Amora I will be returning very soon.

We held conference of 100 people +. For a week. Great service , friendly and great location . The events team Nicola & Gift were great. Food good quality and they would act quickly if we needed some adjustment for the day. Reception very efficient & friendly too

Very good spacious room. bed was comfortable best nice sleep for a long time. All the rooms have balcony overlooking the garden and the pond relaxing atmosphere in the night in the balcony.Staff at reception and bar excellent and friendly.

I’ve stayed here and my sister and daughter got married here. Attention to details was excellent. Love this place even to drop in and have a coffee at least once a week. Luv it. You’ll love it too.

Very cool rooms. Dessert in the lobby restaurant was unbelievable. I LOVED my jetted tub and view from the balcony. Happy hour had some glitches, they must be trying out a new menu. Great location and convenient parking

We usually stay at this hotel when visiting Melbourne, as it’s fairly close to family and friends, and offers good rates. Comfortable rooms and beds, parking on site if needed, just next to a tram line to the city. Very convenient location. Friendly staff!

Fantastic stay, highly recommend!! Hotel staff very accomodating and easy to book. Very welcoming on arrival. We stayed in the 2 bedroom apartment with our 4 children. Room was extremely clean and great layout. Very quiet we didn’t hear any noise from other rooms or outside. Beds were so comfortable. The balcony great size. Room service: easy to order, quick 30 mins max arrival and the food was amazing. Parking: secure parking with number plate recognition access. We will definitely be coming back and recommending. The front desk staff could improve their welcoming and helpful attitude. Our business conference experience was marred by technical issues with the projector, causing us to lose valuable time and momentum. Unfortunately, no one seemed to take notice or address the situation with the water rifles.

Room was okay , but bathroom was dated ,the toilet holder kept falling off the wall . We couldn’t sleep at night because of the horrendous noise from the highway plus the noise coming from the people next door fighting , talking or … felt like we are sharing the same room ! We booked this place because it offered parking and we paid extra for the secure car park soon after arrival we found out we cannot enter the garage because of the low clearance of 1.8 !!! and we drive a suv not a truck. We ended up parking outside . There is a shabby tiny Macca’s near by and that’s pretty much it. We made a mistake having breakfast on the first day $30 pp was a rip off for a stale bacon and egg and disgusting fruit cuts that perhaps left over from the day before .. so disappointed. Will never return.

Stayed on Saturday night. Room was ok - clean but extremely dated, TV was barely working. Shower in the bath - really needs renovation. Stunk of old cigarette smoke in the hallway to get to the room very off putting. Service.. checked out early Sunday morning and got the night manager - charged me for my beer no worries. Asked for receipt for the $50 charge they take off you when you check in to confirm this has been refunded. Response no you don’t need that it will just take 3 days and the hold will come off your card. Into day 4 now the hold which is now not a hold and a $50 charge on my card has not been refunded. Called them - yep no worries I’ll get that sorted for you again asked for some confirmation via email and still have nothing. Very average service. It’s only a small ammount of money yes but it isn’t theirs to keep! Location was good.

Positive: The hotel was very clean and the decor was top notch. The staff was very helpful and eager to please, much appreciated. The breakfast buffet was excellent. Negative: Our particular room design was the worst. There was a large frosted louvre type window that opened from the bathroom tub directly into the sleeping area. Hop on the tram down the street. Very quiet. Nice rooms. Food was good. Gym is good. Would stay again.

Recently stayed here for the proud to be a dairy farmer program and the staff were very friendly and the rooms were outstanding really enjoyed my stay definitely stay here in the future

Stayed at Amora for a few nights when we visited for the Eras Tour. The service was wonderful and location easy to get to and close to local restaurants etc. Room was great and the bed was amazing! Bonus points for excellent coffee and room service brekkie.

I have been here a few times for meetings. They have a lot of event spaces as well as the rooms to stay with parking. They also have a great selection of drinks at the bar and decent food and service at the restaurant. An institution in bridge road! The location is great as there are lots of nature and all that you need at the door front as well as the capital city trail next to the river for walking. Also Creswick reserve is not too far!
