Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA)

Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) helps control the negative impact that alcohol has on our community. RSA has been part of the NSW Liquor Laws for more than 100 years. RSA currently deals with:

  • Minor accessing restricted areas
  • Alcohol-related violence and crime
  • Drunk and disorderly patrons
  • Noise disturbance

To comply with RSA laws, licensees and venue staff must:

  • Recognise the signs of impending intoxication
  • Not serve anyone who shows these signs
  • Not serve anyone who arrives already intoxicated
  • Understand the principles of ‘standard drinks’ and drink driving levels
  • Discourage patrons from actions that can harm themselves or others
  • Understand the impact of alcohol on our community

Voluntary Pre-Commitment

Bankstown Sports takes problem gambling seriously and has always been proactive in this regard, promoting Gambling Help services throughout the club and online. Voluntary pre-commitment allows individuals to gamble within their means. If they are concerned about their gambling, they can set a limit for themselves on their member card before they play the gaming machines. Once the pre-determined limit is reached, the player will be alerted by the player console and a message sent to the manager who will attend to the machine to determine the necessary action required.

The scheme gives the player the ability to keep track of their daily, weekly, and monthly gaming spend and there are options available, such as:

  • Exclusion from gaming promotions for 24 hours once a pre-set limit has been reached
  • Cooling off periods for increasing limits
  • Real-time implementation of reduced limits at the player’s request

To participate in voluntary pre-commitment, please see one of our Operational Support Managers or Venue Managers, and they will assist.

If you want to talk to someone who can help with information, counselling, and referral, call Gambling Help 1800 858 858. Gambling Help Line counsellors are available at any time, 24 hours a day.

Friendly staff nice small club good food

Auburn Tennis Club is absolutely fantastic! The courts are pristine, the staff is friendly and professional, and the atmosphere is welcoming for players of all levels. Whether you're here to play, relax, or enjoy a meal, everything is top-notch. Highly recommend for tennis lovers and families alike!

Rang to ask about the tennis comps and the person didn't seem to know what was going on. After asking a few questions the person hung up on me. I tried calling back but they wouldn't answer. Very disappointing.

Friendly staff. Plenty of parking. Smallish club. Good food at a moderate price. Outdoor area quite large looking over the tennis courts.

We,the regular patrons of the Auburn tennis club during Tuesday and Thursday lunchtimes , greatly enjoy wrapping up our tennis sessions by sitting down with friends, sharing beers and having delicious food. We truly appreciate the excellent customer service provided by the bar staff. We would also like to commend the hard-working Nepalese kitchen staff, who are always friendly, helpful, and carry a warm smile 😃, even during their busiest moment. For those who haven't visited yet, we highly recommend a visit.

Great food and service 👌

Located at 181 Chisholm Road, Auburn, New South Wales, Australia 🇦🇺. Edit - We returned today and we were very pleased again, the food was delicious and the staff were very welcoming and friendly. I had a lovely meal here. It was the Panko Chicken Schnitzel and Chips for $23 which was pretty reasonable. It was delicious. The service was good with the staff being friendly and helpful. The decor very welcoming and pleasant . The toilet facilities are very good and so is the parking. For a little club like this, it’s very nice and I would recommend a visit here. Thumbs Up! 👍👍👍

I have a disability n can’t walk large distances when I arrived the lovely reception staff welcomed me in with my mobility scooter. I was so great full as it just finished raining n I was not sure if it would rain again. I was happy with the service joined the club on the spot. I then went n bought a Diet Pepsi. Proceed to the dining area n bought a Chicken Katsu which was delicious n well priced. Also to my surprise there was a raffle draw which I purchased some tickets. While I was enjoying my meal listening to the raffle tickets be drawn the duty manager came over n told me I had to move my disability scooter no how are you or anything just straight over to me n told me to move scooter The way that she addressed me was belittling as if she was better than me. Everyone in the club was welcoming n provided a great service unfortunately the duty manager didn’t set this same example. As someone who is partly disabled I’m unsure if I will return to the local tennis club n other clubs associated with Bankstown Sports club

Door person not nice at all

Nice food

Very nice Food and Atmosphere..... Love Tuesday Bingo too

Great food and prices!! The staff are lovely and welcoming. One of my favourite places

Great venue for everyone, especially elderly! It is ann accessible venue which makes easy to bring my grandparents here very frequently. The staff are also accommodating and friendly! Thank you so much😍

Friendly club, great food!

What an amazing place. Nestled in a quiet suburban street this unassuming building houses everything you need from a local club. Great food and cheap prices.

Clean ,tidy with good menu, airconditioned with lots of parking. An overall nice club to visit. The formula works well and little change has occurred over time.Occasionally a meal is served with too much salt.Food sometimes is poorly done as in overcooked or undercooked.Staff are very helpful and polite.

Pub food, that can sometimes be a bit hit and miss. Reasonably priced drinks. Really lovely staff. Plenty of parking. Nice alcoves for a quiet drunk or conversation

Relaxing , easy and food has improved so much

Called in for lunch, was very surprised menu is varied, prices are reasonable. They have a lunchtime menu served Monday to Thursday. Cost $12 Chicken wrap with chips, stir fry of the day (today was Chicken and vegetables in oyster sauce served with steam rice),fish and chips or chicken schnitzel chips and gravy. I had the stirfry and it was ho estly the best club/pub meal I have had for a very long time. All fresh ingredients, freshly cooked. I highly recommend it.

Great at an affordable price, with excellent food choices and lunch specials. Wonderful service

Very nice food and plenty of parking.

Nice family club. Free membership with 10% off purchases.

Good food, free membership, and discounts that go along with joining.

This is the most horrible place ever to learn how to play tennis the workers ESPECIALLY THE COACHES -_- are ridiculously disrespectful. Highly not recommended do not ever take your child there.

It’s an ok place to meet a friend over drinks. Not sure about their food though.

The food was not nice at all

You get a good meal they have cahaged their menu you'll be surprised what you get try their special meals good price for a excellent dinner

Only 2nd time I've been? Four of us celebrating my Friends Birthday had lunch & played pokies. Good clean club, friendly staff & good value food prices! Will go back again!🎇

The laksa was pretty bad. Frozen vegetables like carrot, cabbage, and broccoli don't belong in laksa. The same Frozen vegetables also put in other meals? Empty glasses all over the club, tables and chairs not squared away. Pokies area was much worse, chairs all over the place and not squared away, empty glasses all over the area, outside Smoking area was alot worse. I watched as a coffee cup with cigarette ash was left in the same spot for 4hrs.. Prawns in the seafood raffle weren't worth the effort, considering the amount was made on the raffle. Picture down below, left on the display for all to see.

Don’t recommend this place ( auburn tennis centre) for coaching tennis especially if you have a child with a disability. I called and spoke to someone named Geoff to confirm ongoing tennis class after a semi private trial with Sophie and was spoken to very rudely and told to go elsewhere. The reasoning was that my daughter wasn’t listening and being difficult, coming up to the coach and kept talking to her. So I requested private classes (that’s what coach Sophie recommended and gave her private number to schedule further classes) and was told to “go to another tennis club because of my daughter’s disability, that it was too difficult to train her because of her talkative nature”. My daughter has mild ASD and is hyper-active. She attends swimming and karate weekly and has no troubles with her coaches, as they are decent human beings who understand children with mild autism and support her needs. This place discriminates against children with disabilities and refuses to support them in anyway. My recommendations to this tennis club would be to hire coaches with more tolerance, patience and understanding and also hire a manager with people skills. I wasn’t looking for my child to be a pro, only wanted her to be more active and be more involved in the community. If you or a loved one has any type of disability, stay away as you’re not welcome. If I could give this place a negative rating I would. Very disappointed and disgusted.

Cheap rates (especially for members), usually find a court of two available. They offer re-stringing services for a decent price too.

Food was tasty and very prompt service

Great place for a quiet drink or meal the menu is limited but cheap not great but ok the staff are always friendly and helpful

Love the meat raffles...

So glad bingo is back.. The staff are wonderful as usual

Food was lovely and reasonably priced!

Just go one more year

It's quiet and the food is good. We like to have lunch here when visiting the Botanical Gardens.

Absolutely delicious Barramundi meal and fruit tingle. Great atmosphere overlooking the tennis courts. Very clean facilities. Friendly and helpful service from all the staff. I will definitely be going back for more meals

Love ❤ this club. Best food ,best atmosphere, best staff

Good club bistro food

The only thing worth paying for on the bistro menu is the pizza. Had a prawn caesar salad with just lettuce and bacon and prawns. No croutons or egg or parmasen. The kids meals were atrocious, the oil was old and the nuggets were brown. Unfortunately not good quality.

Lovely fresh food..great staff and chef

Good array of courts and services.

Haven't been there since 2009. Went in with fsmily for a bistro meal. Surprisingly updated menu, delicious food and the whole place has veen modernised. Will be back for sure

Good Tennis centre with great prices for court hire. Reasonable coaching prices and my kids absolutely love the Friday night comps. It's owned by Regents Park Sport Club so you can always grab a good feed after tennis.

Good beer and great staff

Everyone is so great

Great food, friendly staff

Friendly hospitable of all staff. Nice patronage members. Food serve super recommended.

Great day at Bingo with friends

It is a smallish club, quite at lunch time. The meals are reasonable with a $10 lunch menu. There are around 50 poker machines with a smoking area. There is also an outdoor smoking area, TAB and Keno are also available.

Great little club. Staff are very nice as well.
