Nice staff and fast service

I was very disappointed during a shopping trip and bought a swimsuit that was too small for anyone to wear. I wanted to exchange it for something else, but surprisingly, I didn't. It wasn't like this before, why didn't you inform me around the clothing that there would be no returns or exchanges!

I recently visited the Big W store in Doncaster, and unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. There seemed to be a lack of staff, which made the store feel understaffed and unwelcoming. The overall store appearance was not up to standard, with aisles not as tidy as I would expect. Additionally, I noticed that some items were not placed in the correct locations, and price tags were not positioned properly. This created confusion while shopping and made it difficult to find the correct products or determine the prices. What stood out the most, however, was the customer service. The staff member at the entrance was not particularly friendly or engaged. When I greeted her with a simple “hello,” she did not acknowledge me and appeared more focused on checking the bags of those exiting rather than offering a welcoming atmosphere to those entering. This left me feeling ignored and uncomfortable. In addition, the overall attitude of the staff I encountered suggested a lack of interest in their work, which was unfortunate and made the visit less enjoyable. I believe more attention could be given to creating a more professional and friendly environment for customers. I hope my feedback helps in improving the store’s service and overall customer experience.

I always find staff here to be really lovely and helpful. I bought a pair of pillow slides @ the beginning of Summer and after about 3-4wk's they'd split a bit thru the centre on the top of the left shoe. As always, there was no hassles getting a refund. There's a great amount of variety in stock and I've also noticed that the quality in general is getting better in a lot of categories, especially the clothing and women's accessories.

I was surprised by the choice of the baby clothes. I ended up buying a lot of baby clothes and I cannot wait to give them to my son and his partner.

I recently purchased a steam cleaner from Big W and foolishly lost the receipt and threw away the packaging. When I went to use the cleaner it was faulty. I suspected that I would not get very far taking it back but the young lady in customer services could not have been more helpful. She was able to trace the transaction because I had paid with my bank card, I was issued a duplicate receipt and was able to return the cleaner and receive a full refund. I was very impressed with her and her excellent customer care. I would not hesitate to recommend BigW to others. Well done.

Great service goods and parking in shopping centre

The staff had a very bad attitude, told me I couldn't buy the items on the shelf, tried to touch me and take the items away, which was very rude.

Yesterday l went in store to purchase a talking pig toy which was requested by a special dear girl ❤️ A young staff member by the name of Sienna was so helpful and persistent, she found one for me. Thank you for taking the time and not giving up👏

Purchased online and came to pickup. Person at the door told me where the service desk was and when there pushed the call button and a very friendly person appeared and got my order after scanning my email. So easy and the people so nice!! Parking was ok but I was a bit nervy about the roof clearance for my 4wd. All ok though!

Very disappointed. Ordered a costume from Big W and paid extra for quick delivery and it’s arrived in a damaged packet and missing most of the costume. It’s clearly been tampered with before delivered to me. It’s now too late for me to buy a new costume and no one is available to take my call to at least issue a refund.

Yes I bought Circuit $19.00 sneakers and then disposed of my old sneakers in the trash bin from Big W!!!!

Cheap and easy

Complaint regarding the party shop. Big W website advertise that they sell balloon garlands but that the customer has to go in store to the party counter to place on order. Went into today and they say that they don’t do orders on the weekend, so I asked for Friday and turns out they don’t do orders on Friday either. Either update your website so people don’t waste their time having to go in store or actually deliver the service advertised on your website

I love big W the dude at the service place was super chill and nice unlike those dirty Kmart employees the employees over at big W were actually nice and helpful and they didn't try to scam me (Kmart I'm talking to you)

Anthony from the toy/ game section is super helpful, patient and smiley! 6 out of 5 customers service!

I was wondering in Balloon service section should have more staff working than chatting, on Saturday Morning around 10.15 I was purchased a large Ballon and tried to get inflated on the spot, before purchasing I have particularly asked the staff how long it will wait since I got a baby. She said 10 mins, we have waited till the finishing of chatting of the background staff and the Ballon is still left on the service desk without any sense. First alI that was unpleasant morning , service and Saturday are blaimed.

There is a guy with long hair working the toy section today (29/6/2024) was extremely rude. I asked him yesterday about a product and he told me to come back today since he will be stocking the product. When i inquired about it he rudely said no and walked away. I drove all the way from melton to Doncaster to deal with employee like this. Get him fired please if he don't know how to talk nicely when you are just asking him a question.

The young girls working the registers are very sweet, lovely and helpful. There was a lovely member at the self serve checkout names Siena and she was very helpful nice to other customers especially when helping the elderly with their bags.

The service is terrible here. No one will help you and they will send you all over the store looking for things rather than actually find out where it is stocked.

I love the choice of kids clothes here compared to Kmart. Huge selection of awesome $2 Birthday cards, great homewares and kids toys at affordable prices plus you get rewards points which accumulate into $10 vouchers.

Nice big store.. Well laid out. Clean. Fresh produce. Staff happy to help. Overall slightly more expensive than Coles and Aldi. BUT the specials on Cadbury Easter Bunnies 250g $5 is very good value. Still the same today. Good specials. Just watch out for them.. 230324- still Easter bunnies 250g down from. $10 to $7 specia. So got 12 just in case. Has great specials on footwear, so it's worth checking when this happens.

Went to at 8.30 am to ask if I got some balloons if they would be able to inflate them for me, they said no we are fully booked, I said ok no worries. However, 2 minutes later while I was still looking around, a man came asked them if they can inflate balloons for them and she said yes sure, we are booked but we can do it for you cos you were so nice ????!!!!! Uuuummm what ??!!!! So they were all smiling and the man was smiling and thanking them. I was more than polite, and she didn’t even ask me if I wanted one, two or more she just told me straight up no. So disappointing.
