Nice food and good service.

Had a walk at Yarra beach it’s my favourite in Sydney. Stopped off for a beer (non Alc) sat on a chair in the outdoor downstairs bar. Sand on my toes. Cold beer and dinner ($19) and a Sunset on the ocean. Close enough to touch. What an experience it felt like I was in Bali My view.

Located at 67-69 Yarra Road, Phillip Bay, New South Wales, Australia 🇦🇺. This is a club that has huge potential, the design is very bland and could use a huge upgrade. The view is beautiful looking out over the water. The staff are quite friendly and welcoming. The prices are pretty reasonable but then again, they couldn’t really charge a lot ad the club is so outdated. The food is pretty good but nothing too fancy. For a nice tasting cheap meal while looking over the water, this club is ideal. Thumbs up!! 👍👍👍

7 of us stopped in for lunch. Good food. Moderately priced with big servings. They let us order 6 for the buffet to share and we had plenty. Will definitely be back.

Been coming here for many years. Usually couldn’t say the service is good nor bad. However, tonight we came for dinner and the service from bar staff was absolutely atrocious. Not one person smiled, the girl behind the bar looked like she was forced to be there while chewing on her gum and blowing bubbles. Ordered multiple cocktails and not once did they bring it over as they were too busy chatting amongst each other.

AWFUL! Without exaggeration, one of the worst meals I have ever had. Charged $39 for the special on the menu, Lamb Shoulder. 98% of the lamb was either fat or bone. Veggies were boiled to oblivion and still soaked. The bottom of the bowl was pure liquid water and fat oils. No quality check from waiting staff. Can not believe the audacity to charge these prices for such poor quality. Left hungry and disappointed. Amazed that an establishment this bad is still running. I feel sorry for any future customers. AVOID Can’t believe I had to put a star to post.

Family took me there yesterday for a surprise fathers day lunch. Never been before it's a top location. Waiters were friendly, food came out slowly in the beginning and my entree was a bit cold but they seemed to get back untrack. Food overall was good and I will definitely go back.

I cannot recommend Yarra Bay Sailing club enough, we had our wedding reception there only last weekend and was absolutely amazing, nothing was beyond them and Ben in the restaurant catered to our needs, their food was 100% delicious and the feedback from our guests had nothing but praise about the club and especially the food, the room was spacious to fit all our guests and plenty of room for photo booth and dance floor and was presented flawlessly, we went there a couple of times for lunch and dinner before our big night and the food never differed always quality and tasty, thankyou Yarra Bay Sailing club and restaurant for putting the final hours of our special day just perfectly Craig & Leisa

The owner also has a restaurant in Brighton. Food is always good and the prices moderate

Awesome view with great meal (they accommodated my gluten free requirement but it's probably best if you let them know before you come) and the serving staff were caring, polite and attended to our groups every need. A great luncheon, highly recommended but prebook as it is popular.

Once again grew up in the area. Not a great deal has changed here. Sailing club always good for a feed and entertainment. Beaches are popular to swim at.

Fantastic view of the bay and surrounding landscape. Quick service, reasonable price for lunch with dessert, and endless tea or coffee.

My wife and I both ordered seafood dishes, and they were both very fresh. The calamari in my fisherman's basket (which was excellent) was wonderfully tender. The club has a nice relaxed vibe with a pretty seaview.

Went there for lunch today , I really have to say I'm gob smacked. For starters ordered the Greek salad with chicken , chicken was dry and over cooked, more lettuce than any tomatoes etc in the plate ( Greek Salad doesn't have lettuce) maybe should have put that on the menu that it comes with lettuce and more than anything else on the plate.. Now for the really shocking part , went to bar and asked for my table to be cleaned as we had 5 of us dining on the balcony , 2 tables. The bar tender with the tattoos on his forearms told me they are too busy and that I should do it my self.. I replied ok so you want me to do your job is that right ???to which he replied he doesn't give a @#$#. You couldn't make this stuff up but it definitely happened today at 1pm If you don't believe me check your cameras , you will see me spraying and wiping down 2 tables

We initially ordered a rump steak, and it was so dry and tough (felt like chewing a gum, couldn’t even swallow it. Due to still feeling hungry and not satisfied, we ordered the mixed skewers, and both of the chicken and pork skewers were not cooked well. So disappointing. Will never come back again.

Not much flavour to the meals. Steak Diane sauce was tasteless, however steak was cooked well. Seafood was fresh butno flavour at all. Need to increase the cooking level.

Awesome lunch today at Yarra Bay Sailing club. Lobster prawns and scallops! And amazing Greek coffee and dessert too. Oh and the view!

Great lil Club, Staff are lovlie, Manger is supper friendly n makes you feel welcome, You dont get that everyday, food is beautiful, so are the views, got the lil beach next to it, parking great, Atmosphere has changed dramatically latley n good music, our go to place for catch ups n swims n a Cold One, I can Highly Recommend 👌👍 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

So incredibly impressed with the service we received from YBSC. Liased with Ben who was extremely helpful before and during our large booking. All other staff were also a pleasure to deal with. Great projector facilities and ample space for our group of 250. Thank you.

This place was really wonderful in helping us for an event. They made it very easy to book the venue and provide us with options. It was such a pleasure working with the staff.

Enjoyed a delicious meal today for a special family function. Ben and his staff were fantastic. Service was prompt, polite, friendly and happily accommodated dietary needs. Each of our meals were beautifully cooked and presented. Will definitely visit again.

Amazing feed with with a stunning view. Friendly staff & lots of parking. Great menu range and drinks. Coffee and cakes is nice as well. You could also have private functions here as well. There pool tables and pokies here. Highly recommended.

A great place to eat classic Greek style food.

Went to celebrate a 60th birthday, and the food was great and plentiful. All the staff were very friendly, what a great venue.

So where do I start , definitely one of the worst experiences I ever had . I wouldn’t have even given 1 star if I didn’t have to but it’s the only way I can warn people about this place . So when we sat in the restaurant area a big rat the size of a rabbit ran across the room and that alone should have been my queue to go but because we were with friends and had travelled 40 minutes to get there we stayed . We ordered the seafood platter for 2 and a $10 rump special and both were disgusting. The seafood platter is just full of fried and over battered fish and calamari and a very small amount of overcooked bbq octopus topped with some prawns 2 oysters and some smoked salmon. To top it off it’s written on the the menu $43 but apparently it’s $43 x 2 so your actually paying $86 for this platter . It’s very sneaky and deceiving how they write it up on the menu. As for the $10 Thursday night rump special well I’d rather eat the $10 note because the steak was that thin and dry even though we asked for rare . I know $10 is nothing for a meal now days but I wouldn’t have even wasted that . I would have preferred 4 sausage sandwiches from Bunnings. As you can tell we were definitely disappointed and we definitely will never go back

Great views of the port at night and beach during the day. During the winter months there is plenty of room due to cold windy weather but inside the club is comfortable sitting in the sun sheltering.

Love this place. Great staff, killer location for sundowners on the balcony. Can be a bit noisy and raucous when there's a private function on. Excellent seafood in the restaurant.

Very bad expirience i feel descriminated in this club ,the gentelment on the bar was very rude ,treating my son very bad with a very agresive tone when we were ordering the drinks and he told my son how old are you mate he said 14 and then he told him you cant be here them ,my son when back througth the front and ge ask for the glass to be change because the had lips print and food in it and he dint not change ,i walk out with my son to ask to change the glass and he just said very loud or for god sake i ask him excuse me im sorry to dissapoint you and then a laydy came and explain to me the glass are clean their get wash with a higth temperature water ,at least she explain to me he treat us with disrespect and told my son in a very bad manner oh dear very disapointed to came and get treated like this also u had to wait more that 30 mins for a bowl of ships . Not happy at all i will think twice to comback and if he is in the bar definitly will no buy a drink

Fantastic location if you just ignore the cranes at the container terminals in the distance. Seafood restaurant excellent and very popular and bistro food is good and relatively inexpensive. Only downside to this place is if it's a nice sunny day there car park fills up very early with people going down to the beach . They really should have more control over their own car park . We've been going there for years but a few times the lack of car spaces for actual members has been terrible so we've gone somewhere else. It's a little ironic that them best time to go there is when the weather is bad.

Great little club ,fabulous views over Botany bay,nice secluded beach area ,there is a smaller beach ideal for children next to the main beach, food was plentiful served hot and quick, competitive pricing.well worth a visit

Booked an 80th birthday lunch for 36 people and all had a great time with great food (and plenty of it) a and lovely views. Michael, Ben and the team were really accommodating and really looked after us. Highly recommend!

We recently had my nieces funeral wake at this venue we found it was very disappointing the staff were rude from reception to the bar manager the food was disgusting I’m sorry to say and it was not enough food bar prices were okay I would never visit that venue again being a local very disappointed wake up committee and fix this

Would give it less than one star if possible. Attended a function here that was so poorly managed it was disgusting. The function room was in horrible condition, the furniture was not maintained at all, the floor was filthy, and the roof was collapsing. The Eftpos wasn’t set up properly and so the staff were writing down drinks instead of correctly tracking the bar tab. It took forever to get drinks and the staff were not aware of the price of anything. One staff member (female manager) was extremely rude to guests and party organisers, yelling, swearing and speaking over the top of them when trying to sort out a misunderstanding. The security guard did a great job overall. Felt pretty sorry for the young guy behind the bar, it really seemed like there had been no training, no direction or support at all. All in all, absolutely disappointed in the experience. A complete shipwreck. All who attended were local and you know what they say about word of mouth 🤦🏼‍♀️

Nice view but that’s about where it ends. Attended a function where the room was essentially a garage with some tables, chairs and a bar. Was not cleaned at all, chairs and tables cramped together, such an underwhelming set up. Disappointed from the get go. We were then met with an untrained staff member who did not know how to do their job and which essentially made the service terrible. Furthermore, eftpos and cash registers were not set up properly. The older female manager working on the 20/08 was making us feel uncomfortable and started yelling at one of the event organisers for questioning the incompetence of the lack of an eftpos machine in the function room. As someone who has worked in hospitality for almost 4 years I am very disgusted, disappointed, and unsatisfied with my visit here. Not to the standards that I have experienced or expect as a guest. Would give a negative rating if possible. Will not be back and do not recommend visiting. The view was nice though.

Really great security and partially great bar staff. Found one bar staff to be really untrained by management which impacted our bar tab and impacted our event hire. Manager was extremely rude and disrespectful. The manager at the time spoke to the organiser of the events family like they were scum. Would never go back after this experience and would highly recommend to avoid this venue due to disrespectful management. Well below par.

Nice workers but unfortunately let down by poor management. Attended an event where basic facilities were not setup such as an eftpos machine or cash register at the supplied bar in the funtion room. This required guests to remove themselves from the event and go upstairs to the club bar. Instead of addressing these shortfalls management refused to accept liability and chose to belittle the event organiser saying all they paid is $500 so they could just deal with it. The pricing is not the responsibility of the customer and if you promise the minimum of a catered bar and a room you should be able to provide this... oh and maybe staff it from the opening time rather than an hour after the function starts.

Always a nice club to visit food, music and atmosphere makes for a relaxing Sunday afternoon.
