My kids loved it and so will yours.... That is of course if they do not suffer from photosensitive epileptic fits.. Your wallet may not appreciate you after a few hours though.

Tranquil and small arcade in a nice shopping centre where I can even play Maimai on my own in the weekends or weekdays without distraction.

Soooo expensive, and beware half the games on you can't play.. and their deals allow only up to 300 pts no matter how much you play.. $100 could be spent at kmart or big w.. to get better toys..

Staff was not helping AT ALL. The Photo Booth was glitching and not giving us the photos we took, and the staff did nothing about it. We paid for it over and over and still it wasn’t working. Whatta waste of money🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬✊🏿💔

I came in around lunchtime on Sunday, and at first, I had some trouble with my card. I went up to the counter, and a young man named Zac was kind enough to help me get it all sorted out. He even offered to upgrade my card to one of those new tap cards, which was very thoughtful. After that, one of the games didn’t give me any tickets. I went back to the counter, and Zac came over to the machine with me. He patiently explained how the tickets worked and how we could redeem them, which I really appreciated. Before we left, we tried to book a game of bowling, but Zac told us it was all booked up, so we couldn’t play. Even though we couldn’t bowl, Zac made sure we didn’t have any other problems and wished us a nice day before we left. My grandkids and I are very grateful for Zac’s help, and we had a lovely time there.

I recently hosted a birthday party for my daughter at this venue and it was a highly disappointing experience. From the beginning, things went wrong. When we arrived, the staff couldn't find the access cards for our guests and asked me to pay $300 for them, even though I had already paid as part of the package. Our guests were left waiting until the issue was resolved. During the party, one of the cards stopped working and had to be replaced. I had to ask twice for plates, drinks, and utensils, which were only brought after multiple reminders. The biggest issue was with the cake. We had ordered an ice cream cake and specifically confirmed twice that it would be kept in the freezer. However, the staff put it in the refrigerator, and when it was brought out, it had melted, ruining the decorations. The cake, which cost over $100, looked terrible, and I had to transfer it onto a plate from a puddle of melted chocolate. It was very upsetting. To top it off, I had to remind the staff to turn on the bowling lanes at the end of the party, as they had forgotten. It felt like I was managing the event instead of enjoying it. Overall, the experience was awful, and I will not be hosting any future events here. I do not recommend this venue to anyone.

This place is.. mediocre. Didn’t try the bowling or bar, but the arcade however.. has some things about it. There’s one game that i wholeheartedly recommend for your kids, that being axe throwing as it gives a lot of points, but everything else isn’t worth your time. Half of the games either don’t work or are too old that they don’t even take the arcade card they give you! (The shopping centre is hardly even old.) The employees don’t care that their games don’t work and SIT on the games (i.e the ring toss game, i saw a teenage worker sitting there watching as kids walked past and mentioned wanting to play it. Vibe is nice but it’s not worth your money.

It was an amazing experience with plenty of things to do for all ages! For kids, there are plenty of activities around the arcade that can easily entertain them, such as a DDR machine and water gun game. There is also a bowling alley available for families or friends to verse each other. For adults, there is a food venue/bar. Although the location is a bit hard to locate and get up to, it is overall an amazing place to go to.

Went here yesterday just for a fun night with my friends and the experience was unmatched. At first we didn’t know what to do but a worker name PJ came and was such a nice, helpful guy. He introduced us to the various activities and made us feel welcomed. Definitely will be returning and recommending to my family and friends.

My experience at ed square I play was amazing I loved all of the games and bowling. You can get special discounts for example $25 for $30 and many more. Overall I loved this experience and I highly recommend this especially if you have kids

All 3 Sydney locations have been left to wrack & ruin and nothing works anymore. We stopped going to the Wetherill Park location altogether as nothing works when you go there and over the last year the Ed Square location has been gradually getting worse to the point today we spent over $100 on games and about $80 worth didn't work or items missing like axes and balls. We constantly had to go and see your staff and they were no help and just kept saying sorry but did nothing but give us a couple of free games, but nowhere near the amount we spent and were ripped off today. We used go to Iplay at least twice a month and have spent a small fortune here. We have been saving up tickets for a while and then the last 2 times we have been to this location there are no good toys to win. We can't even claim a prize as there is nothing good to claim. Only 1 large plushie was available, which is not even a familiar character toy and they claimed it's because of school holidays but we went 2 weeks ago before holidays started and it was exactly the same, so they are just not restocking things. I finally asked to see the manager as it was so frustrating and some games have been deliberately tampered with so you can't win as many tickets which is very sad you have resorted to these tactics. The clown toss game has tape hanging down where the balls pass through so the balls get stuck and come through much slower if at all and they have removed most of the balls so one side only has 2 balls and you have to wait ages for them to come back after you throw them. The manager refunded us $43 in the end, which is not even close to what we spent on non working games and insulting to be honest. We need to claim our tickets, but don't know how we can do that now as they are not restocking the big plushies and this is what my son has been working towards. I don't want to go back to any of your locations anymore as they are all rubbish and we will just go back to Timezone & KoKo as they seem to be more reliable and less scammy. I am going to contact ACCC about today's experience as it is really dodgy what they are doing. I can't believe how bad it has gotten so fast. Edit: Iplay head office called me eventually and said they agree that this isn’t good enough and they would email us some vouchers that day. It’s been over a week and I’ve heard nothing from them again and no vouchers, so they’ve disappointed my son once again. Shameful behaviour from a service company.

I bring my 2 kids they really enjoy .Friendly staff even it’s busy but the staff still helpful . highly recommend this arcade.

The girl named GECH at the front counter is extremely rude and immature, we spent over $400 on cards and tickets and when we were given faulty cards with only half an hour left to use them she rudely told us to clam down and gave us such a horrible attitude that we ultimately decided to leave the iplay centre ending the birthday celebration early. Do not recommend

Recently, I had a bday party for a group of 5 and 6 yrs old, 11 of them and their parents It went so smoothly, Chakriya and her team did an amazing good taking care of us. I would definitely recommend anyone whose looking to bowl and play games. We got an amazing deal!

This place is truly unique. There are many cool games, and the staff are very nice and kind. We went there for a party, and everything went smoothly (even though it was very busy on the weekend). P.S. They also serve nice cocktails at the bar area!

If you take your kids here, apparently they can sit at the bar, so that’s cool. But good luck getting any service! You have to wait for someone to actually be at the bar. Three workers will pass you by, and maybe, just maybe, the fourth one will serve you—if they’re not busy staring at their phone!

really bad.. not professional at all, for the bowling alley they didn’t provide us bowling shoes at all. the tables are also very dirty! left over tissues on the table not cleaned by staff at all😐 staff are also very unprofessional and not that friendly. don’t come here, go to other arcades. P.S the staff are bartenders, and arcade/bowling staff all in one. they should be hiring more staff as their is very much lack in workers!

I go here quite often but I feel there lacks some games. Personally, I would love to see addition of more rhythm games especially maimai. As I live nearby, it will make me more of a regular and willing to visit more. Overall love the atmosphere and staff there, very kind and helpful staff.

We visited the bowling alley with a group of friends last night and picked the Hyper Bowling option as one of our friends said it was a lot of fun the last time they were here. Turned out to be a mistake and a huge disappointment as the equipment was not working properly. The lights on one side of the bowling lane were not working properly. When we brought this to the attention of the two staff members, the female employee didn't know what to do. She referred it to the male employee who tried something on a screen but couldn't fix the problem. They transferred our game to a different lane but the problems persisted and kept recurring. Each time we asked for help, it was the same thing. One person passed the buck to the other, who was also serving as part time bar tender. How on earth is your cashier an equipment fixer and a bar tender all rolled into one? No conversation or explanation, no apology, no customer service, yet we were charged the full price while we lost time waiting for things to be fixed. The bowling alley was practically empty around 7pm, yet we were not even offered any extra time or free game as a gesture of customer service (to make up for the 6 times we had issues with equipment stopping, not working and interrupting our game). We finished our game which was overall a frustrating and disappointing experience, but for which we were still charged full price. Things MAY work if it's a normal bowling game, but after this experience, I'm not coming back here for normal or hyper bowling. I'd like to try going elsewhere for an evening of bowling and friendly competition. As my feedback is already quite detailed, please don't bother to ask me to write an email with additional details.

We held a 6th birthday party for my son at iPlay at Ed Square. The entire team were fantastic both in planning and on the day. Everything ran on time, and nothing was too difficult. My son and his friends had an amazing time! Would recommend!

Worst experience ever, the staff don't know how to speak English, and the only time they speak English is to swear at you, if you are going to go there I recommend you bring a translator. The games are usually off, once I won the block tower and the game just turned off and I went to the supervisor and they were completely rude and argumentized. The manager was also rude when I was talking to her, also while I was there she was making a fool of this one girl who was doing all the work and actually could speak English. Last thing, they were extremely racist, they were so happy with their own race and extremely rude with people from other races. I do not recommend this place of the disgusting staff and a non-fun experience.

A lot of the games in the arcade were broken or missing parts. For example hoops game had no balls and the air hockey table had no puck. Bowling was okay. The service overall was pretty slow. I probably wouldn't go back.

The overall experience was good, but the obvious lack of maintenance on the machines really shows. a claw machine towards the front, you release the button for the claw, and it keeps going (sticky button). The 1 and only pinball machine in the centre has a sticky right flipper, making it frustrating and impossible to play. So, to take out my frustration over to the Axe machine, only to find the conveyor belt is sticky and doesnt release the axes properly... For the price youy are charging people, you most certainly can afford maintenance of the machines, GET THEM FIXED!!! Lack of staff was another issue, the main desk empty quite regular, but overall had an alright time.

The ambiance lacked the vibrant energy that one would expect from an amusement center, and the overall atmosphere felt lackluster and uninspiring. The first major setback was the staff's lack of attentiveness and professionalism. Despite the noticeable crowd, it seemed like the employees were disinterested and unmotivated. They appeared more engrossed in their own conversations rather than being attentive to the customers' needs. Requests for assistance were met with indifference, leaving us feeling like an inconvenience rather than valued patrons. The next major disappointment came with the condition of the facilities and equipment. Many of the arcade games were out of order, which was frustrating, especially when trying to find a specific game to enjoy. The ones that did work were in dire need of maintenance, with buttons and controls malfunctioning, greatly diminishing the gaming experience. Furthermore, the cleanliness of the place was subpar. The floors appeared sticky, and the tables were not properly cleaned, which left us uncomfortable and hesitant to spend much time inside. Perhaps the most egregious aspect of the experience was the exorbitant pricing. The fees for games, activities, and even refreshments were significantly higher than comparable establishments in the area. The value for money was severely lacking, making the entire visit feel like an exploitative commercial venture rather than a customer-centric entertainment destination. Ultimately, our time at iplay left us feeling disheartened and disillusioned. The lackluster ambiance, unprofessional staff, poorly maintained equipment, and steep prices all contributed to an overall negative experience. Regrettably, I cannot recommend iplay to anyone seeking a memorable and enjoyable recreational outing. In conclusion, my visit to iplay was marked by disappointment and frustration, and I believe there are far better alternatives in the market that offer a more satisfying and customer-oriented experience.

The time on the website says 9 am but opened at 10am so we lost time on our booking and most of the arcade games were unavailable because the were broken.

This place has everything. Minecraft, dancing, basketball, bowling and bar. Good, fast, and friendly service. Most of the games work unlike some other places which means less tantrums. That hungry hippos game is awesome

Every time I have come here I have had a bad experience and the last time was it for me. Cancelled our bowling booking without notifying, forgot to make our drinks at the bar. Not even going to blame the staff here, they look under staffed, over worked and tired/angry. It’s a great facility and idea, but whoever is the manager and in charge of rostering hiring and training, you are doing a very poor job. If you’re going to offer bar service, leave someone qualified there that does the bar and bar only! Put 1 or 2 more qualified staff on to help out these guys, they look stressed every time I come in. As I said, a great facility but poor management and service.

Do not bother on the weekends. They have hardly any staff working and so many of the games are either out of order or they have issues. Impossible to find anyone to let them know and when you do they don't do anything.
