Food was excellent and great value. Service was friendly and we were served quickly. 6 of us had different parmas and we all loved what we had. Highly recommend

People i mine castmers is okay 👍 but service is very poor, example guys how served me on the shank is unfortunately is not for that jobs 😕 thanks 👍

Great spot

Great spot with live music and a lively atmosphere. The bartender wasn’t able to provide much insight on the beer selection since he doesn’t drink—would’ve appreciated a little research or even a creative guess! Drinks are on the pricier side, so we treat this place as a nightcap after enjoying happy hour down the road.

A must visit venue on Mornington Peninsula. Relaxed friendly vibe for all. Awesome deck. Food is always top-notch. Great venue to see bands up close and personal. Their open mic on Wednesdays is arguably one of the best in Victoria where I'm always indulging in their Parma n Pot special. Delicious.

Love it! Live entertainment, bands and DJs, good crowds, friendly staff, which is very rare. Went there continuously over the last 3 weeks, and I highly recommend it. A great night out!

A great spot to people watch as the world drives, rides and walks by. Good live bands, absolutely delish food. I totally recommend the corn ribs and the prawns! Yummo! Frozen cocktails, what more can you ask for? If you're local, get down and support this great local business (we all need local support, myself included) and if you're a visitor or holiday maker, make sure you get a feed in at this place before heading to maccas or KFC. I'll be back for more ribs!!!

My friend and I went to sound bar tonight (Wednesday), as expected we were id at the door and then we walked to the bar and ordered 2 vodka redbulls. The guy working there asked to see our ids again, he checks them and then goes to get his coworker to which she gives him a blue light to see if our ids were real. They check it for a minute then hand it back to us and then we order our drinks and receive them except when we tasted them, there was either no vodka or hardly any at least, I’m unsure what SOUNDBARS standard of shot is but it tasted like there was nothing in there, we are 95% sure that there was no vodka in the vodka redbulls in which we paid for, we didn’t watch the guy making our drink to be able to see but because we had just been id twice it felt almost as if he didn’t believe we are of age, to which we are… and didn’t feel comfortable enough to serve us alcohol so he just gave us a redbull instead, if for some reason that is the case that he should have just told us he didn’t feel comfortable serving us alcohol and we would have left, I am disappointed that we had to pay for a price for a drink that didn’t have any alcohol in it, alongside this we were quite humiliated having to leave so abruptly as we didn’t feel welcomed by the other staff members. P.s. However the bouncer tonight was really nice and welcoming so shout out to him!

The Soundbar is one of the only live music venues on the Southern Mornington Peninsula, they support local musicians and give them a safe, hassle free venue to perform at. Their service is impeccable, always willing to help you out (within reason of course). Food is fantastic, prepared by none other than Shane Lovett (Soundbar Veteran). All in all, a great chilled environment to enjoy a few bevvys with good company. What more could you want.

What a night … karaoke Sunday did not disappoint

DJ was extremely rude and resulted in our group leaving the place. Prioritised playing locals songs over our groups and made extremely unprofessional and rude comments over the speaker prior to our song playing saying that we were rude for kindly asking when our song would be played after we had waited over half an hour for this. Staff behind the bar were great.

DJ was extremely rude and called our group over the speaker in front of the entire place saying that I had been rude because I had asked when our song was being played (it had been pushed back because they let locals play multiple songs in a row and I had seen the list and we should of been next up) and was so unprofessional and upsetting. Would not let our groups songs play or pushed all of our songs back. Service was great behind the bar but we left after this comment was made.

Great place to hang out for a drink and watch the world go by. Plus you can also grab a bite to eat and listen to good live music.

Soundbar is the coolest bar in mornington- it has the essence of the Tote ( in Melbourne) by the sea.. they also have regular live music & the bar staff are awesome.. it's a big fat yes from me

Fabulous place! Great music on a Saturday night with Icky Sitch and amazing yummy food!! We will definitely be back and highly recommend for a good night out

For a smal'ishl room/stage....very cosy indeed its area with gorgeous settings and a magic outside seating & standing area which remains constantly busy with ears open ...tapping feet along with smiling chit chat people meeting one enougher in laughter and great time living experiences...totally Awesome 👌 for all ages musics lovers and listeners enjoying them selves making every thing a memorable experience.. Food I's the greatest of flavours from snaks to full diner meals/ Deserts...full bar great prices...along with fair prices and Tea/coffee for those designated drivers...basically excellent 5 sites per week .

A must go to place on the Peninsula. Funky style, great service and tasty food. The opportunity to try lots of dishes with sharing plates 👌

I hadn't been out in a long time and the sound bar was just a perfect spot to just chill out with my family.

NOT FAMILY FRIENDLY!!! No need for a generic response from the owner, we will not be returning.

I think there was a miscommunication with my food. But apart from that, it was a great night, with an awesome atmosphere. I drove an hour and a half to be there, and it was definitely worth it :)

We strolled post the sound bar during the day & saw they were offering a free trivia night and specials prices on the burgers (Thursday). Once we were back, there was a great happy hour 5-7pm, the food was so good and the service & atmosphere of the trivia was great, highly recommend!!

I only ordered on menulog, so I can't speak as to service or atmosphere. Had the mac 'n' cheese balls which were wonderfully cooked, super tasty, well presented given its takeaway food. I only took one star off because they were heavily salted. Would have been 5.

I have played at the open mic on a Tuesday night and the musicians are 1st class! The vibe is amazing as well as food and drinks are priced well. Great to see some dedicated locals willing to keep the music alive on the peninsula, great work!

This place was a revelation!! Sounds of Them … best live music I’ve heard in a while. Great Saturday night. Definitely going back.

Great venue on the peninsh! Good selection of beers on tap and good pub fare, with plenty of vegan options.

First time at Sound Bar Rosebud to have dinner and a couple of drinks, the Chicken Parma meal was delicious, do not usually finish my meals but how can I not, it was so delicious and flavoursome, homemade sauce and chips 😋 Atmosphere is humbling and welcoming. Thank you Beck & Shane will hopefully be back.

All coffee places closed on Wednesday just before 2 or 3 pm, can't remember.

Great venue. Lovely Sunday afternoon session with backyard brew keeping us entertained. I'm.on the wagon and barstaff came up with lovely mocktails for me.

Tonight we went to visit this lovely venue in rosebud, to our displeasure the manager on the entry door was very rude to our group of people. Unfortunately will not be returing after this incident.

If you haven't been to Soundbar in a while go check it out. New owners new bar, much cleaner , a little bit classier while still retaining that rock n roll bar feel. Free music come on , get it into ya.

Nice place to listen to music, have a bit of a dance and have a few drinks. Just a bit over zealous in collecting drinks from the tables.
