Recently I visited the Tech department to buy or order an Apple Watch. I had done my homework and researched what I wanted. Just to make sure it was that actual product and feel the weight and see the size, I asked the attendant if I could see the watch. But no, I could not view the product unless it was paid for. I double checked and no I could not view it unless I (had) paid for it. Needless to say they lost a $600+ sale!!!!

Usual big w experience, but easy to navigate, and not crowded, with parking close.

Love this store for a great range of everday goods at great prices. Usually has what I want. Also has friendly knowledgeable staff.

Decent place. Has most things you'll need, however clothing wise they can be a little bit annoying, for example they may not have rain jackets when they should, such as during winter. Prices are pretty reasonable, and when they have sales, they drop the prices a good amount. Staff are okay, a couple of them don't seem to really listen properly though (for example I wanted a SD card for my Nintendo switch lite and the person took me over to video games and thought I was talking about a game) and the amount of times I've almost been hit by one of their storage carts due to them not paying attention is crazy. Anyways it's pretty good, definitely gotten a bit better over the years.

A good store with many goods at cheap prices. It's always worth a look and you can pounce on a few bargains too! I shopped today and found many items 1/2 price or 40% off. Another good day to shop at BigW.

It’s interesting that this Big W is the most expensive in Tasmania. The exact same stock (in this case sheets) $26 dollars everywhere else … this place $32. And when pointed out couldn’t care less. National Retailer not honouring its prices accross the group. Another reminder to spend money elsewhere . Just the Woolworths group on point … again !

Well stocked shop! Seemed to have a greater variety of options in clothing, personal items such as makeup than any other Big W I have been to. Helpful staff too In a mall with chemist, clothing stores, homewares, usual chain supermarkets which were easy to negotiate but also has Salamanca fresh, my favourite place for small goods and specialty bakery items as well as local fruit and vegetables.

It's worth checking prices at Woolworth if they have the same items. It may be cheaper! A good place to go. Unfortunately insufficient staff to answer your queries.

Its your usual Big W. The shopping centre is a real hotpotch. You ha e to go outside to get to Big W from Woolies.

Standard department store with a reasonable price for most items. There's some items where they no longer stock them, but it's more likely to be on the distribution channels

Beware shoppers! I bought 3 items, didn't realise the security tags were still on there. I was at the self serve. I got one tag off, thanks to utube, the other 2 have ink inside them. I live an hour away from the nearest 'big store'. Annoying!

The floors were of the finest cleanliness The entrance beckoned like a siren of the sea. The staff were like flighty automatons and the reward for catching them was fantastic customer service, however beware your consumer peers who will flock like seagulls to steal your hard won helper should should your attention waver. Finding the item of your shopping desire is akin to walking utopia looking for your favourite nut knowing many of the trees are too expensive to climb and many are so inexpensive that they practically throw their nuts into your basket. Escaping the store requires hauling your heavy hoard hastily hence the haughty haint that haunts the hallowed door. And then you go to liv eat for a coffee and profit

Always a pleasure to shop here and see familiar faces working there. You know that they will know if the have stock and where it is. Always a warm welcome from the door staff and all the staff are very friendly. Good to see a couple of registers open most times as I prefer not to use self service. Thanks guys, great job

It was just a chill place to be

I haven't been inside for a long time, but OMG the accessabilty of Channel Court is top tier. really makes the other shopping centres I've been to recently look just, sad. 10/10 will come back soon! (like, tomorrow soon)

Not the individual stores fault, but the fact that BigW won't sell certain products to Tasmania that it is the only distributor in Australia for.

I went in to buy a shirt that's light to wear open with nice tops under it for summer but the arms are so tight I'm a medium 12 size and only size 16-18 fit my arms! the clothes are very ceaply made, overpriced and there is not much that is nice, the fitting isn't great. I left upset due to them having no nice long sleeves to wear in the heat. The clothing is not great.

My friend and I love going to shop in this Big W store. It has many and varied items to choose from unlike some other stores that are now becoming a bit sterile in selection. Keep up the good work !

I bought a phone holder for my car here and then realised that my car vents are vertical when I went to install it. No fuss return/refund. Always find great products here for a value price. Also picked up a headlight torch which works great!
