Slow service asked the small guy where at tech if they have 64GB sd card in as the website states they do, and he just pointed and said they’d be in the corner mate no friendliness what so ever get a new job if you don’t like it! Fix your website to if people come from far away and the website lies saying it’s in stock then it’s not that’s false advertising. Other support didn’t exist was waiting for him. I used to love bigw. Hate it now. Staff are so rude and the large woman at checkout gets a special mention on that front, since she is exceptionally rude and just so unappealing in personality. Shelves are always empty, never have the stock they say they do and the store is always sweltering hot. Products they sell are also trash. Edit: did click and collect 3 seperate times and over half my order was refunded. The escalator is never working.

Easy shopping and parking

A great place for most non food items. Be aware that some items are also stocked at Woolworths. I found this out when I bought cheaper confectionery there. Not enough staff to help you find things apart from 1 person at the front door. No change since I last visited Big W. Findings things can be difficult! Shortage of staff to help you find what you are looking for.

Pretty disappointed that there is not 2 staff doing balloons one for orders and one for people who walk in. Got told to go to spotlight for my sons bday balloons even though I didn't need them for 2 hours bit ridiculous

I bought a baby gate today I had to return it as it was faulty and it wasn't safe to be used. The disrespect and the rudeness I got from one of the employees and then for the employee to state something about something being in their policy even after I read it and told her what she was talking about is nowhere written I didn't even get an apology. Then the same the same employee ask the other lady when I called up did I mention it was faulty that's when I knew she had no idea what she was talking about because you can't call up big W anymore. I did get my refund. I spoke to a manager about how rude this worker was all I got was I'll have a chat with her yeah you're not going to do anything. I also mentioned what she was talking about in the store policy and what she was going on about was nowhere in writing. And then for the manager to tell me that they're going to put the baby gate back up on the shelf for sale when it is a faulty baby item in it is unsafe you cannot sell a faulty unsafe baby item. Leanne that works at big W Glenorchy is such a rude disrespectful woman.

Affordable and reasonable price for goods and services with friendly staff members.

Picture quality products as well some not all are very low quality. The whole experience and skill level of the lowest level of support and training system for the prevention of a very large number of staff in the entrance and management areas are so high.I have been able to find a few people who have been a very big range of skills and knowledge of their particular store and their requirements for the department of the day to as they were the keen and the willing staff members who were able to help themselves with their own self managed and own individual group of ethics that have been installed on the road for a minority of people that are very important to the growth of any business in the world. I am sure absolutely positive that I am able to make a positive assessment of the best part of my own individual circumstances and experience over the past two decades or so to have a number that is not good enough for me to understand what is happening to the public sector in the world of customer service, and the lack of confidence and departmental staff members who have a nil and non existing workplace knowledge of their products and services including a bit of a smile and a little bit of RESPECT and mannerisms that I have to go without any problem solving skills that are very critical to the success in a business environment.

Poor customer service, asked about a specific item then proceeded to tell me that it could be anywhere in the store after explaining that it was available online the night before for click and collect then told me it might have been in someone's trolley, I didn't know big w was open at 1 am in the morning then went and asked another employee in the toy section and turns out yous did have it after all, brought it and left. Lazy employees these days.

Usual large department store

Usually have PS4 games on special or discounted. Good place to get bulk dog food slabs. Undercover parking that easy to access and use. Staff are always really nice and helpful.

Variety with value

On holiday and needed cello tape, Xmas paper, scissors and presents and some clothing. Very helpful staff directed us to what we needed.

The fact you can’t contact the store is disgraceful. 22 minutes wait for a 30 second enquiry. Ridiculous!! * Not the store itself’s fault but Woolworths Group clearly don’t care about customers anymore.

I bought my niece a birthday present from Big W in Glenorchy on Sunday the 19th. I was appalled that they had no registers open & the line up for the self check out was 10 deep. I stood in front of one of the registers & one worker decided to open it. I said about time you opened up a register. The lady replied that we don’t have the staff. What a joke not being properly staffed especially this close to Christmas.

Im appauled at the lack of service in party section this is the second time i came here theres been no service at all i ended up buying my balloon didn't get it blown up because the woman rolled her eyes at previous customers she wasnt incharge of panties. But someone else needs to learn the party section its ridiculous
