Prices gone up as expected since i last visited 2 years ago but improvements are clearly there. Love the Nintendo, Darts and Karaoke addition since then. My client loves it also. Good family vibe

Just started going here .. tables are great great way to spend an Arvo/evening . My only real gripe is music selection/ volume , it's too noisy for any interaction with playing opponent ( or to concentrate on shot for that matter) although we have only been on Fri/ sat nights , is there any nights with either chilled tunes or less volume ?

Empty at nearly midnight, they forced people in to then laugh at us regarding doing karaoke in a karaoke bar. Not an enjoyable experience, would not return.

Bar Eight is the best local bar around. I’ve been going there for years now and it just keeps getting better. The drinks are cheap and the staff are great - especially that bartender Hamish. The owner is there every weekend and she is always making sure people are having a good time.

Although, it’s a great place for pool, the toilets are disgusting, plumbing and toilet paper would be great, staff members are great but owner could do with a personality make over…

Overpriced, $60 for a few hours pool and 2 beers.

Great place for a cruisey Friday night pool session. Place starts to fill up by about 8pm but atmosphere is still pretty chilled.

Unsure on food cos they had no stock when I wanted a burger the service is like here's your drink pay your money ,see you next round. Atmosphere seems more likely on karaoke nights otherwise it's a pool room lol

Havnt had the food yet but Atmosophere here is 10/10 The people and staff are great, Georgia is good to get along with too and shes good at pool lol :) Also the $35 to do whatever for the night is a great price, I drive 1 hour to come here. Darts Pool N64 mario kart Table tennis And karaoke 😍 Brandon is a fantastic DJ, and the amount of drinks you can get is amazing :)

This is everything that it was 20 years ago when I was in my early 20's. Bar Eight is iconic, it's a suburban treasure and should be on a heritage listing somewhere. The tables are good, the cues are good, the drinks are slightly over priced, the floor is sticky in some places and you can smell the smokers from their outdoor smoking area. It's a glorious mix of everything that is nostalgic from bars back in the day. 110% worth a stop in for a drink and a rack or two of 8 ball.

Loads of pool an billiards tables with reasonable prices. Nothing fancy, just basic pool hall that's alright to hot up with the boys. Plenty of parking at front. Often have good drinks deals too so can be good for a predrink 😉

It's ok, it's dated but still worth Ur time to go.....

This place is close by for me, since most of my friends come here just to relax and meet up with everyone. Drinks specials are cool, same with the pool tables to play on. Karaoke on Fridays & Saturdays, busier on Saturdays.

They will ask for your ID to scan. I understand they have to make sure that you are over 18, but scanning the ID card is breaching your privacy.

Went Here for the first time Friday, it was awesome! Great place to hang with some friends, the bar staff are awesome aswell.

While the place is a good place to catch up, the decor needs updating as it hasn't been updated since my husband used to go back in the early 90s! Also, the toilets being open is an invasion of privacy... who needs genital pics when you can sit at the corridor of the toilets and be able to see wang from the urinals 🤢🤢

Needs more of a fun vibe with music during the weekdays. Very serious vibe with serious players cause everything’s so serious in this world. Pool tables in excellent condition

NOT A 1 STAR!!! I do not rate this place at all!! Staff are aggressive and the manager is defensive and I don't believe has any idea about acceptable Australian standards. They use bar stools to hold the toilet doors open, which isn't nice when you can see straight into the male toilets from the pool hall. We identified to the manager, that being able to see inside the male toilets (I.e the urinal) from the pool hall is unacceptable. She did not understand this. She told us, bar stools were used to hold the doors open because the facilities were cleaned. When asked how often the toilets were cleaned she said daily!! So that doesn't explain why my partner had to close the doorS multiple times in a space of an hour... she then blamed it on the hinge. Went to leave and was told out of the blue that the police were called, because the door staff felt threatened by me. This made me laugh, because it was me who said to the door staff, there was no need for her to be aggressive, I was purely just trying to identify a public offensive. I advised I was happy to wait for the police to come but I believe the threat was empty
