I'm so glad this is my local pub. The Margarita Pizza is absolutely divine and I always enjoy coming here.

Amazing food and service

The food here is amazing and affordable, it's honestly probably one of my favourite hotels in Sydney.. BUT I was sooo looking forward to having a mocktail because I'm pregnant and can't drink, and there are none! Please put some mocktails on your drinks menu 🙂👍

From the moment we reached out to the Bayview Hotel to host our engagement party, we knew we were in excellent hands. Brice was incredibly responsive and professional, promptly answering all our emails and helping bring our vision to life in the months leading up to our party. Planning the event was seamless, with a variety of food and drink options to choose from, all at a very competitive price. On the day of the party, everything exceeded our expectations. The food was exceptional - high quality, delicious and served in generous portions. Our guests couldn’t stop complimenting it! The service was equally outstanding. A huge thank you to Josh, Claudia, Sean and Rod, who were attentive, communicative, and went above and beyond to meet our needs throughout the event. The Green Room was the perfect function space, with its intimate yet inviting vibe, private bar, disco ball, AV system and ample space for decorations like an easel and balloons. There was plenty of seating for guests while still allowing room to mingle. My fiancée and I couldn’t be happier with our choice to celebrate such a special occasion at the Bayview Hotel. Thank you to the entire team for making our engagement party truly magical!

For a pub with an pretty expensive menu their food is awfully basic, though they are reasonably quick. the location and decor is very nice but the prices at the bar are ridiculous. It is a common problem in Australia but $12+ for a schooner of a basic beer is a rort, comparing to other venues that still manage $6-$8 prices.

The schnitzel was very thin and not great for $28, way better for cheaper at other pubs. Kids spaghetti bolognese had zero flavour. Won't even be back for the free kids meal.

The only negative on the food is that there's no tomato or cucumber in the salads which is a must if you order a garden salad

Best Southern Fried Chicken burger Ive ever had, sesame bun, American cheese, chipotle mayo it was phenomenal and the steak sandwich is also super tender and great flavour

Went for lunch yesterday. The food was terrible. Salmon overcooked and vegetables undercooked. The pot pie was inedible. The meat tough and the colour of the gravy was grey not brown. Very disappointing and a waste of money.

Great turn out for 2 UP on Anzac Day. Was absolutely incredible 👏. So much fun and all the excitement was amazing.

I love The Bayview! I normally have a pizza... reason, they are fantastic. I ask for a little longer in the oven for a chrispy base! 👍 It's a legendary live music venue, great bands, always nice people and good fun! 🎸🕺💃 Good selection of beers! 🍺🍺 What more could you want? 🤪

Great food, lovely area, but bar staff (in particular the girls) are extremely rude and dismissive. I’ve been coming here for awhile and it’s constantly bad service and rudeness. Food wait staff are great and attentive. Love the steak sandwich with basil aioli on the side.

My local for the last 25 years. Great venue for families.

Lovely food at The Bayview which is however slightly overpriced but extremely poor service from the bar staff (the resturant staff are great). Both staff members served us last after clearly being in line before others then proceeded to walk away from us immediately after setting down the card reader without even a thank you or smile. Super disappointing experience at an otherwise lovely venue.

Good place for a beer 🍺

Had a chicken parmigiana. The chicken was cooked nicely and came out hot. The crumb was okay and tomato base was sweet but they didn’t just bung it on so with the cheese the balance was right. But no Parma ham on it. The salad was just green leaves but the dressing was a bit delicious so yum. The chips were good and plenty and yes they were still hot
