Knots Kitchen - good spot for a very casual meal, the water at West Lakes. Reasonably priced meals and very generous size servings.

Lovely room, big bath and awesome food facilities. Pool was a bit too humid and enclosed indoors. Wet area needs improving.

Spectacular place to stay. Exceptional service from reception to room service. Amazing lake view, very comfortable bed, clean and spacious rooms with plenty of cupboards. Convenient shopping centre directly across the road. The food was the best meal I’ve EVER tasted. Calm and friendly environment. Magical view of the sun set from the indoor spa.

Absolutely filthy! The carpets have clearly never ever been cleaned! We were only in our room for 30mins and all our feet went black from the filth on the carpets I showed them my son’s feet, they gave us a new room, said they had checked it. I went in rubbed my hand on the floor and my hand went black from the filth. Food under the couches, spill stains all over the couch which were “leather”, so had never been wiped down So we asked for a refund so we could leave , because if the floors and all mentioned are that bad you can only imagine the beds and the rest. Dirty used plates outside our door on arrival We had driven 12 hours from Melbourne with 2 small children, we were all exhausted and had to find a different hotel. No remorse from the manager at all. I actually felt sorry for the receptionist, as she was visibly humiliated

Beautiful location and food. Hotels room............... Absolutely revolting. Spent 6 nights there and complained every day about the hygiene of the room. They did two deep cleans of shower with a mould removal, and it was still disgusting. Staff were not helpful and just kept informing us that it's been clean to the best of their ability. On the day we left, it was still dirty with mould and grime. I'm actually surprised we didn't catch a bug. Pictures below of the mould and of tissues that I had wiped around the shower after each supposed deep clean. It's such a shame as it made our holiday very stressful and not relaxing.

Staying at Lakes Resort is an underwhelming experience given the prices for rooms. Having stayed in a 'Superior Deluxe' room, I can say that there was nothing that felt superior or deluxe about it other than the lakeside views - there was no decoration (just old white walls and empty surfaces) and I'm disappointed to say that 2 out of the 3 sets of sheets provided were worn out with black stains. Service was also hit and miss... reception was not willing to allow check-in with digital ID & credit card until a senior staff member thankfully stepped in. Food was adequate for the convenience of being downstairs, but I not particularly worth a recommendation. You can certainly do worse - but you can probably do a lot better as well.

Great location. Rooms clean and spacious, king bed very comfortable. Nice indoor seating space. Lovely balcony with view of lake, however due to loud air-conditioning vent outside of room on 1st floor, which turned on 1000 and ran for 12 hours could not enjoy. Sound proofing could be better. Basic amenities in room, TV not smart. No real information in rooms about hotel facilities or anything nearby however desk staff very helpful. Grateful for later checkout and access to bottled water (after asking)

The hotel buffet is great, but 5 years ago is was even better but the selection was bigger before the covid lockdowns.

Spacious room with a comfortable bed, albeit a little soft around the edges. Excellent view overlooking the lake. Breakfast was delicious each morning, and room service meals were top class and large portions! Westfield shopping centre is directly across the road for those who might enjoy a little shopping too.

Loved everything about the Lakes Resort Hotel. Food was great, staff were attentive, and the view watching the rowers was beautiful 😍

Got a room and it was wondering. We loved the breakfast bar and yummy hot chocolate.

Great place to stay. The view is incredible and so it the location. The only criticism I have is that all rooms should have a microwave, plates etc as we had nothing.

Amazing restaurant experience.

The lake view is amazing! The bathroom is large and modern. Unfortunately the bed was not comfortable and was sinking a lot. The WiFi worked poorly and the TV was not smart so couldn't stream. Close to a great shopping centre and some restaurants. Overall still a great place to stay.

Was a great lunch. I was a little under dressed wasn't expecting to have a late lunch at the Lakes but they weren't too fussed and the lovely Manager Trevor was accommodating. Will return for the food and the views at this iconic landmark of Adelaide.

Lakes resort is a great place to stay in Adelaide. It’s along the west lake and has a peaceful spot with a beautiful scenery overlooking the balcony. The swimming pool was super clean and the breakfast was very delicious. We tried their pumpkin spinach fritters and smashed avocado. Both the dishes were 10/10. The bed is comfortable and the room was spotless. The staff is friendly and very professional. Overall very inviting resort and we will definitely come again with family.

C'mon lakes hotel , had the crappiest roast ever .Advertised as roast beef and and pork including Yorkshire pudding and seasonal vegetables . Nearly broke a tooth on the pudding,couldn't even bite the crackling, not even freshly carved - warmed through potatoes were deep fried and Lousy chaps

The Lakes Resort is one of a kind in Adelaide. It lies on the edge of the West lakes and gives the feeling of a tropical resort. The bed is very comfortable and the room spotless. Wide windows give a fantastic view and when warm the balcony is a great place to unwind on Worth the visit.

This is just such a lovely hotel with lots of amenities. The continental breakfast is actually their regular menu and you get a great full meal like Eggs Benedict or tasty French Toast each morning. They also have fruit plates and lots of wonderful choices. The rooms are very nice and most have a view of the Lake that runs beside the hotel. Kayaks and rowing groups go by all the time. The choice of restaurants within the hotel are versatile as well as a terrific sports bar where you can watch Australian and American sports. Our basketball has become very popular in South Australia. Also it is directly across the street from a large Mall that was just full of great shops. It was a huge mall and I was told it is actually smaller than many of the other Malls around SA.|And finally, this is a family owned hotel and the employees really love the Husband and Wife that own the establishment. They have done a wonderful job of making the hotel feel like you are home and the employees treat you like family while you are there.

Amazing views from our suite, friendly staff, delicious food in Knots kitchen restaurant, overall extremely happy with our stay, would highly recommend, will be going back again as it is beautiful.

Really great experience with check in, room was absolutely stunning especially for the price. Pool and gym were good, spa bath was clean and so was the room. At night though other guests were very loud and disrupted which was annoying especially for a $400 night sleep and The check out lady was snobby and rude, gave them 2 $100 notes for deposit and when deposit was given back it was in $50s so that was annoying but overall a great place to stay will be returning again.

Ordering dinner using the scan order and pay was amazing.

My top pick for accommodation it has it all, excellent concierge service on greeting Guest 10 person spa and gorgeous indoor pool, i booked executive room with spa in room was so big I could fully float in it, excellent food room service options, ladies upgrade to the romantic upgrade you get a bottle of Jansz bubbles big box of Raphael chocolates late check out 11am loved getting breakfast in bed via dialling 9 to order from 6am to 10.30am breakfast options from continental to full serve of 2 eggs, bacon, hash brown,mushrooms, tomatoes, chorizo, beans on sourdough toast. Restaurants were beautifully laid out Tunki faces west for sunset Knotts faced east for sunrise absolutely stunning location.

The rooms are alittle old and showing thier age, very low water pressure in the showers and the pillows are flat and uncomfortable. The staff are very friendly. Hot tub was out of order when we stayed. Restraunt food was very nice.

Friendly, helpful staff and very comfortable rooms made my 4 day visit a pleasure. Clean, well-appointed room had great views. Breakfast each morning to start the day had a wide choice from basic continental to full 'big brekky' plus coffee & juice. Evening menu was varied as well. A memorable, comfortable stay. Thank you.

We dined in the restaurant and the food was of good quality and value for money. The meal sizes were more than I expected with the entrees about the size of a main course. I couldn't enjoy the main course as much as I liked to.

Breakfast was just a joke! We had a group of 12 with over half saying they were very dissatisfied with the meals dished up. From a simple crossoint burnt to a big breakfast with 1 and a half slices of tail bacon. Not to mention the response from the floor manager saying well that's what you get with a big breakfast. Not the best reaction. Also the egg was so hard and the rest luke warm. Some more bacon was plonked down with a here take it attitude. Considering hotels are now asking top dollar for meals it was just a terrible experience all round. We are a group that goes out for breakfast every 6 weeks so we are very forgiving in a lot of cases but unfortunately this was just a huge let down.

Arrived to really friendly staff and reception was easy to locate. Plenty of good parking and room especially for longer trade vehicles. Room was tidy and the view is excellent on the balcony. Very comfortable and inviting.

Stayed here for a night on the weekend room was very nice bathroom was excellent with a big spa small balcony to outside with a stunning view of west lakes bed was very comfy and all the staff there were lovely and very helpful TUNKI restaurant inside was amazing highly recommend eating there
