Took me two days to recover from all the food I ate. Two full plates and dessert. Wanted to get more food, but my stomach was at capacity.

Place was very clean and tidy. Staff were polite, happy and very friendly. Food was fresh and plenty of it. A drink on the house for an adult birthday was such a surprise and was the icing on the cake. Definitely be back. Thank you

First visit to the Metro Hotel at Brighton customer care and service was 1st class, a lovely attendant helped and guided us through to where we could find our drinks area. Bar service in the sports bar area excellent and with the Pass, enjoyed our cocktails on a discounted promotion. The order at the table with QR CODE works efficiently great food and environment. Would recommend as a must visit venue.

We had dined for lunch at Charlie’s diner and the customer service I had received from this venue was by far the most polite and friendly experience I’ve had in Adelaide. 1. Who doesn’t love a buffet? It’s a plus that it is affordable too. Seafood, the mussels were delicious, the variety of choices from the salad bar to the roasts, stir fry, curry, meats, veggies and a multitude of condiments to choose from, Charlie’s diner has become a family favourite. 2. The staff. All very friendly and polite, with excellent attitudes. Lots of smiles and this helped add to a very inviting atmosphere. I have a very big thank you to pass onto Amy. My son and I got stranded outside for over an hour after having multiple Ubers cancel on us. Amy saw us and asked if we were okay, she then went and got a cold bottle of water and a toy for my son. The level of care, empathy and kindness she showed me, she alone encourages me to return to the Brighton metro, and make it my local watering hole, ensuring I bring my friends and family here again too. Thank you Amy for your kindness and generosity, I hope that your efforts do not go unrecognised. What a fantastic role model for the staff.

Excellent lunch experience that started as soon as we paid. Amy( I'm pretty sure I've got that right) was lovely. She is a credit to Charlies Diner. She made my day by stopping past to comment on the great behaviour of the four boys. She made them a paper dinosaur each and myself a paper flower. When she discovered we were there as a birthday treat for my twins she gifted them a kinder chocolate each. The cost for 1 adult and four kids was very reasonable for all you can eat $112.75. The food was delicious as well. Thank you for a wonderful lunch.

I visited Brighton Metro Hotel’s sports bar for the first time to watch UFC, but the experience was disappointing. The setup isn’t practical—many seating areas have obstructed views of the TVs, and some are blocked by glazing, making it difficult to watch the event properly. A major issue was the new ordering app, The Pass, which they were heavily promoting. However, the staff had no idea how to use it, and there was no problem-solving when issues arose. It’s funny how they push customers to use the app but aren’t prepared to assist when things go wrong. Another downside was the restroom setup. There were separate male, female, and kids’ toilets, but the baby-changing station was only in the female toilet. This outdated assumption that only women should handle baby changing is unfair. A unisex baby change area would be much more inclusive. The overall vibe was off, and customer service was lacking. Even after ordering at the bar, service was extremely slow—we had to wait a long time just for a single beer. Unfortunately, with all these issues, I couldn’t fully enjoy the UFC event.

The steak was mouth-wateringly delicious and the ceaser salad was at a similar level (unfortunately it had no anchovies). They delivered one of our cocktails to the wrong table, but gave us a new one and a free beer when it was mentioned. Impressive.

Got the steak with crab butter no butter told bar staff said they will get some 10min later steak cold butter wouldn't melt..a waste for the Price..My partner got the ceaser salad with chicken very poor serving only 3 Anchovies hand full of re headed dry chicken pieces.Egg was hard boiled not runny..Very expensive for the terrebl service and food..won't be back.

Great selection of cuisines and dessert! 2 hours to eat-all-you-can. Toy room ANd indoor playground for children. 5 o'clock seating, no lines!

I ordered a pizza on uber eats with vegan cheese, it came with regular cheese, which I am allergic to🥲 Tbh it looks like they use cheap cheese, so I thought it was vegan, realised after I had already had a piece that it wasn’t dairy free. Wasted $28, an hour waiting for it, and now sick leave for tomorrow.

What a horrid experience,tastles cold food and small children serving themselves making a mess and causing a bottleneck.wont be doing that again.

The spacious layout, large spread and the flavourful dishes are the reasons we keep returning here again and again.

Friendly staff

Went for Christmas lunch. 2nd time. Food is a buffet, lots of choice, some dishes a bit odd for Christmas but plenty of other dishes. Regularly topped up and quite good temperature for a buffet.

foods brilliant, staff are just fantastic wish this was in my home town. such good value for money, meat is cooked to perfection. will be back every time i visit adelaide. that buffet is the best. * update* was back again on tuesday the 14/1/25 for lunch with family. did such a great job and noticed even the chef doing temperature checks to make sure all was good. i love this place it is just perfect.

Great place to have events and catch up with friends or family. Staff are very accommodating and friendly. Lots of choices.

I must admit last time I came here I was disappointed and I was apprehensive about coming back for my daughters birthday but I must admit things have improved out of sight and we all had a great night the food was yum fresh and plentiful the selections were good the deserts were great so yeah much much better well done staff and management

Charlie diner is my children's favourite restaurant. Love the food variety and the sweets are amazing.

The staff go , up and beyond for their customers very clean & perfection with its beautiful design and elegant interior with the unique style of the all you can eat .!!!

Food was great, staff lovely only complaint we were sitting in a booth by street side, dead flys on ledge and dirty kids finger prints smeared on the mirrors just above our head, could of been a bit cleaner in that area,we were there when they just opened

Love the metro hotel and its atmosphere but despite ordering two different types of pizzas we received the same. It came out and looked odd but we ate half each anyway before giving up because of the way it tasted. Looks like very cheap ingredients and undercooked. It’s a real shame because the Espy’s pizza has really upped its game and gluten free dominoes is exceptional for a cheaper price. I’m not sure if it’s because it’s buffet food but either lower the price on the pizza instead of $32 for a GF base meat lovers or improve the quality if you can. I’m providing constructive feedback and don’t mean to come across as harsh as I have never left a negative review.

Delightful establishment. Food was fresh, hot and renewed regularly. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Came as a family with 4 kids and the joy on their faces as they saw the dessert bar in particular, was priceless. Having never been to a buffet before, they declared it the best thing they’ve ever done! Came for lunch on a Wednesday and fed the family for $100!!!

Being an all you can eat, it's a great place to take fussy eaters, if there's nothing in the wide range of meal options available, there's a good chance the dessert bar with all it's options will be a hit for anyone

Love this place on an occasional Thursday night in the beer garden.

Very busy on a Saturday lunch but food was plentiful, varied and mostly fresh tasting. Desserts were definitely something to write home about! Loved the mini pavlova and mini panna cotta. Great service, helpful, friendly and polite. Will be back for sure.

The bar staff went above and beyond to ensure our daughter's farewell drinks were enjoyed by all. The outdoor area was a great place to have casual drinks and listen to music! Thanks to the two staff on Sunday night!!

Great place to dine for families plus semi isolated areas for group bookings or couples. Extensive choice of food options to select from .Definately value for money. Staff excellent and courteous. Will go again and co diners all thought the same.

Yeh rang to pop in with the kids, pretty unrealistic to have an “buffet” but can’t walk in like pub. it takes away the nature of restaurants. Some chick phone call had no idea how to provide customer service lol. 😝

We had a lovely belated Fathers day lunch at Charlie's on Saturday with 6 adults and 6 children. The food was fresh, plentiful and something for everyone. The kids loved the play/games room. Top tip - try the Yorkshire puddings with gravy and for dessert try the mango sorbet. This is a big noisy area - great for families and groups. Thank you for feeding us 💜

Last night we celebrated our daughters 18th birthday with family and friends in the Mezzanine area, upstairs. A great space for a private function at the Metro. The platters we ordered were delicious and hit with party guests. The staff team were a pleasure to deal with and they really invested to ensure our function was a success. This is our second event at the Brighton Metro and I highly recommend this venue as a great place to host an event/special occassion.

Good range of food but would be nice have more dessert options for children.. the ice cream needs Improvement it can become very soft like liquid. Staff are very friendly and will happily cook extra foods if you ask for it. Would love see new foods added

I went on a Thursday night, and there was a free raffle. Reasonably priced meals. Heated outdoor dining. A great place for a casual meal with friends.

The ambiance was pleasant. I intend to return.
