We had dinner last night with our family and it was great. The grandkids enjoyed their meals with funny names. Everyone meals was good and the staff were excellent. Helpful,polite and very kind to the kids

The staff in the bistro were nice and polite. Had an issue with my extra topper, but that got sorted out. My overall meal was disappointing, ordered a medium rare steak which was a bit too charcoaled for my liking. Vegetables were way over done chips were fair. Meal in total cost me $50 to be honest don’t think it was worth it !!Lemon lime and bitters didn’t taste like it should.

Got the whole family to have a Chicken Parma night out. All of us thoroughly enjoyed the well presented and delicious Chicken Parma and the excellent service. We are Chicken Parma devotees, so will be back more often. BTW, Chicken Parma is on special each Tuesday night for those of you not in the know! At time of writing, per order is $15.

Overall terrible experience. Was faced by a rude manager and rude staff when trying to get a table to eat a meal. I believe the manager needs a refresher course in customer service. Witnessed the chefs fingering and picking at customers orders. Walked out and went to a different establishment. It is not the venue it once was which I found greatly disappointing. Save your time and money.

Went for lunch on Saturday. Lady on reception was fantastic and fixed our membership issue quickly. Staff in the restaurant and behind the bar were pleasant and efficient. Meals were an adequate size and enjoyable.

We went to steak night and were very pleasantly surprised. The steak was perfectly cooked and the chips and salad were great Such good value for $20

Great staff but can't say much about chef,we had burgers 1 crab buger under cooked and aussie burger with no bacon or egg staff took it back came back with bacon and half egg went to pick up buger half the bottom was missing how hard is it 🤬

Food: chips , from frozen were floury, calamari tasted like rubber, small salad was 60/100. Pokies: very load ads, with intermittent music, why, please get rid of this,just invasive noise . I won't be back for another 6 months to dine and play pokies here, sticking to the Dorset Gardens.....best pup food in Melbourne.

This place is a modern dive. There was no air-con. The place is stacked with poker machInes and a TAB. Food was very average. Just a stingy environment geared at taking your money. Plus they want your full ID before you can enjoy this wonderful experience.

The Parma was inedible. Fake chicken, extremely oily and 85% crumb. I sent it back and got it remade. Still inedible. The girl at the bar apologised on behalf of the chef because the owners only buy poor quality ingredients. Did get a full refund. Only reason it gets a second star is because my old man drinks there.

We, as a group of Local Whitehorse District Retired Scout Leaders, meet up every second month for dinner at the Ringwood RSL. We enjoy getting together and enjoy our meal. The good ladies in the Bistro who look after us are very pleasant; this adds to our enjoyment each evening. A group of us also meet for lunch every second month as well. Your Margaret and Cheryl are gems! Sunday 24 November the seniors of the Australian Scout Fellowship held our annual end-of-year Christmas Lunch. A very enjoyable day was held by all the participants.

Menu has just got too expensive for the quality and size. Menu has changed again, and prices have increased. Increased from $18 - $32 for souvlaki. We are going to find a new place eat.

Ordered the Beer Battered Flake Fillet & was disappointed to see one small fillet with minimal chips & salad. While tasting ok, for the price of $28 I would have expected at least two fillets on the plate. I thought I must have ordered a seniors meal but they don't even have those on the menu. While the staff are friendly enough we won't be going back anytime soon as I can get a better meal for that price at the Wantirna Hill Hotel.

Aussie Parma was mint the only let down was the French fry’s should of been big fat chips friends meals were great bruschetta Aron chinni balls wedges and a garlic n cheese pizza 👌🏻👌🏻

We had Sunday lunch yesterday. It was fairly quiet and we were served our meals in a reasonable time. One of the only RSL bistros we have been to which gives a member discount. The membership person on the desk was friendly. We all enjoyed our meals although the pizzas were a little overdone. One person was disappointed that the bar did not offer Cider.

The menu has great variety; curries and Parmas through 400gm New York steaks and crumbed Lambs Fry & onions, prawns & Burgers to Toad in hole and Apricot crumble.. Pleasant quiet surroundings and lovely service with a full bar of course.

We meant to have dinner there on Wednesday night but the lady at the front desk was extremely rude towards me that I decided to go back and don’t spend my money there. She clearly didn’t know how digital licenses work.

Visited the RSL for Father's Day lunch, staff were welcoming, food and drinks well priced, quick service and meals were lovely. Open space and wasn't very quiet. My only recommendation would be to have been asked to become a member, but maybe next time l return, l can do this. Great day and the staff made it wonderful for us and others. Nothing was too much trouble.

Great $20 steak on a Wednesday

We have been here for Sunday night dinner several times this year due to convenience. Service has varied in quality each time, from abrupt and rushed to friendly. The atmosphere and decor seems a bit depressing. Last night my husband purchased the membership however I wish he hadnt-our two main meals left a lot to be desired! My Tandoori chicken salad contained the toughest chicken I have ever tried to eat. It was hard to cut off the skewers and even tougher to chew. There were large chunks of raw carrot throughout. Husband's lambs fry was bland and uninteresting he reported. Kids meals were small and uninteresting but chips were tasty and crisp. We arrived just after 7pm but there was nothing much to do nor watch on the consoles in kids area as it was all shut down. Staff were having a personal conversation a very short distance from our table. The staff hardly cracked a smile or friendly tone but the membership lady was friendly enough. Not keen to return!!

We absolutely love coming here for dinner! We are made to feel so welcome by everyone who works here, as we’ve been regulars for two years. The food is first rate and steak nights are the best value in town! But you have to book! Huge thanks to everyone at Ringwood RSL especially our special pals Margie and Cheryl. Such wonderful women with beautiful hearts, and all the staff totally rock 🙌

The machine in the sports bar to order food is a disgrace. I love this pub and come here once or twice a week. Enough money is paid that the service shouldn't be taken away from the patrons. Whoever thought of this stupid idea should lose their job because they obviously have no clue about the industry or what the customers want.

If ever an RSL screamed 'I'm a sell out to pokies' this place is it! Staff are useless, security is nothing short of laughable, the 'locals' are about approachable as a stack of manure. THIS PLACE IS THE REASON NO ONE GIVES A SACK OF SPUDS FOR THE RSL. Do better

Travelled 3 hours to ringwood RSL for lunch for an event. First of all the lady at the front desk was INCREDIBLY rude. Then they bought the kids meals out half an hour before ours. The kids were ready to leave before we'd even eaten. Then the lasagne was hard as a rock with absolutely no flavour, which we were wayyyyy over charged for, so I went hungry. The meal options are appalling and the kids meals wouldn't fill a 2 year old. All in all, the worst experience our family have ever had eating out.

Went for a meal before drag BINGO. Although a parma is only $15 just not worth it. Cold, flavourless, manufactured. Cold chips. Salad with cheap dressing. Just do the bingo

A very rude staff member ! We stood for 5 minutes before anyone attended to us, the older woman who finally walked over to us asked in a very rude manner if we had a booking, we did! As the bistro was very empty I couldn't understand her attitude. She took us to our table plonked the menus down and didn't explain about ordering. Luckily the bar staff and the person taking our order were very pleasant. The meal was very enjoyable, latter I tried to order sweets and coffee, same rude woman barked at me to go to the pokies area to order, like I wanted to sit in the pokies with my sweets and coffee. The food was good, due to the extremely rude waitress we will never return,

My side chips and salad for $10 - chips were hot and fresh, salad a tad sad and hardly any dressing, portions could be bigger but they were sides so I guess ok; great service from Leanne - very friendly; unfortunately a piece of plastic in my friend’s Singapore noodles (he didn’t want to tell you because he was embarrassed but I just had to let you know)

Had the crab burger and a side of onion rings. This is new to the menu and very tasty, onion rings very crisp and tasty as well.

Ordered a steak asked for well done it was still pink in the middle didn’t enjoy it at all won’t be going back again

Nice place and easy to get too. Lady on reception was very friendly. Meals were nice when they weren't thrown at you by the lad bringing them out.

We had lunch there on our way to a wedding. The staff were fantastic in the way they looked after us. Will go back again.

We had a party of five for Dinner Friday Night all our meals were correct as ordered they were hot and filling also everyone had a wonderful meal and evening will be back again Thank you Ringwood RSL.
