Great place, atmosphere, facilities and activities. This place is heaven.

A party of two families, we were looking forward to a night of lawn bowls. Rang Bondi Bowls and the friendly staff member told us just to turn up, and that bowls was on tap. Arrived only to find out there would be no bowls, even though one lane was being used. Excuse was there had been rain. Made no sense - the rain was light, there was no water around, and there was one lane being used. The female staff member was unfriendly and couldn't care less her colleague told us we could bowl. Will never return. Bad experience and a waste of time, not to mention a let down for the kids and us adults.

I organised my work Christmas Party at Bondi Bowling Club. We had a fanatastic time! The staff were very helpful both before the event and during. I highly recommend this as a great casual venue for events

I was there a few weeks ago and when I bought drinks got up to dance, comeback to my sit my drink was gone , it was half full and the waiter took my drink every time . I think they should respect the memes drink are not cheap anymore I used to work in the industry Regards

A bowling club the atmosphere and décor of a traditional pub. Cheap drinks and generous food portions - Friday night curry a must!! Top thali!!

Brilliant club. Fun and community based. Very well run by intelligent people. Excellent for women of all ages who want to learn and play in an encouraging and supportive environment.

We had a great time, the team was very friendly. Food was good but we had to fight to keep our glasses even though we had full jugs of drinks they kept on taking our glasses !

We recently hosted our baby shower in the Green Room at Bondi Bowlo, and we couldn’t be happier with the experience! The atmosphere was absolutely perfect, and the space was just what we had hoped for. The platters were delicious and beautifully presented, receiving so many compliments from our guests. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, which made the day feel extra special. Thank you, Bondi Bowlo, for helping make our celebration memorable! We’ll definitely be recommending this fantastic venue to friends and family.

Extremely disappointing experience. We had a work function booked there, it was booked through the function's coordinator and confirmed that our event was to be 12pm arrival, 12:30pm food and bowls at 2pm. We are there on the day and are told that the chef doesn't start on Thursdays until 3pm and that we should have been told this (yes, we should have), so we were all there expecting lunch and starving by the time any food was brought out to us. The cost of the food was over priced for the small amount we were served, we were also not compensated for their error (just was told by the coordinator on the day that it was the other girl and not her who took the booking). We were also not told or aware until we were there on the day, that the female bathrooms were not in use, and we'd have to use Port-a-Loo's while there, and these were worse than any festival port-a-loo.

Didn’t refund my mates money and now he owes everyone $27.99. Give your balls a tug and sort it out “We do not provide refunds for wet weather. He did have the option to use it as a bar tab for food and beverage on the day. Maybe next time suggest your friend reads the terms and conditions when making a booking somewhere.” - unfortunately this is unacceptable and illegal, if you are unable to provide a service that has been paid for you are to refund the full amount, credits are not acceptable and we have rightly reported you too the accc. Pull your head in and give your balls a tug

Would give zero stars if I could. DO NOT MAKE A RESERVATION WITH THEM. They’ve refuse to refund any money after a cancellation because of bad weather.

Great day of bowls and cold drinks and great food !! Great little club. Loved it.

Went there for a quick random dinner and drink with my partner. Loved the cosiness of this place, fireplaces in each side, great locals, slow chilled vibe, enjoyed beef nachos and a fried chicken burger for dinner. The wine list wasn't bad at all, I opted for their house Sauvignon blanc, which was actually very nice. Would go there again for sure!

We held a staff barefoot bowls afternoon here and couldn't fault it. Communication from staff in the lead up was fantastic and the afternoon/evening ran smoothly. Would definitely recommend.

I’d give no stars if I could. The staff are extremely rude, the drink are overpriced and the food is barely edible. If I could give anyone some advice in Sydney it would be to avoid this place like a plague. I’ve never felt more uncomfortable in a bar in my life

It's a great place to have fun, drink, have food, play pool, and darts. The team that works there are very kind and polite. I 100% recommend it

Use to be great but the service here is pretty pathetic, the manager is super intense and the bar staff roll their eyes at you as if ordering a drink is an inconvenience to them?

Friendly owner and environment

The potential to be such a great place and have a great vibe like so many other bowling clubs around inner Sydney suburbs but unfortunately it's run by an absolute muppet manager who is incredibly rude and needs to learn to regulate his emotions. We heard along the grape vine about this but didn't really think it would impact our visit. Our group run several well known venues (some of these only moments away in the Bondi area) and it is disappointing he runs the bowlo this way and treats it's customers so poorly. Even the security guard was embarrassed by his behaviour! Food is pretty good for a bowling club, bar staff are lovely and location is good. Awful parking like most of Bondi. 2 stars from me!

I love going to the Bondi Bowls club! There is always a great vibe and the staff are friendly. Pick a sunny day and play barefoot bowls and have a beer with some friends.

I see that Bondi Bowling Club has modernised itself and it has a Vegan Schnitty Burger as one of its classic menu items. It is also easy to find on Google Maps nowadays, which makes a big difference when walking in the dark or all kinds of weather.

The Bowlo was the perfect vibe for our Channel [V] reunion. The staff were great, friendly, accommodating, and so easy to work with. Great facilities with audio and screen and flexible spaces. All with that genuine bowlo atmosphere everyone loves. Highly recommended!

Great spot

Spent the afternoon at Bondi Bowling Club. Weather was perfect for it. The lawns are well maintained and even. Staff and fellow guests were welcoming and showed us how to lawn bowl. There is also a bar with food and drinks available.

Great family friendly atomosphere, we had a booking with about 25 kids and adults. Ordered the mixed platters which went down a treat.

That little Lady, mate she kept on, cleaning and cleaning and cleaning and cleaning and cleaning and, Looked after everyone and There tables. Very professional.

Great weekend afternoon drinking hole & sports telecast venue!

Overcooked chicken with hardly any sauce, so it's dry af. Unseasoned fries and they ran out of coleslaw so decided they'd replace it with a coke without making contact? Terrible all round, don't do it.

Possibly the worst chicken I have ever eaten, no love or care taken. This is the kinda food that a sweaty geek eats midway through a warcraft binge, having no slept for 48hrs or seen daylight. If you are considering ordering this food, go down to your local woolies and get some homebrand tenders and slap them in the airfryer for 11mins. will be better than what you can get a wing fling.

We had a group booking here on Saturday and the whole day was awesome! Had a roll up, some drinks and nibblies and definetely impressed with everything. The staff are so friendly and really looked after us on the day. Can't wait to visit again soon :-)

Had my 50th here a few weeks ago for about 60 guests. I really love the retro décor and relaxed atmosphere of this place including the fire places and plants everywhere. Lots of friends commented on what a great venue it is. Overseas family were able to be projected on a big screen and so participate in the speeches. Staff were kind, helpful and committed to ensuring the night went well, both prior the event and on the night . Typical pub finger food was great for the occasion and easy to order online. We could play our own Spotify music lists but bringing a DJ was an option too, lots of options. Can't wait to come back!
